Surface wave scattering by finite periodic gratings of an arbitrary profile in a grounded plane (접지된 유전체 슬랩 도파로에서 주기적인 임의 형태의 격자에 의한 표면파 산란)

  • Surface wave scattering by periodic grooves of arbitrary profile in a grounded dielectric slab is investigated for the TE surface wave incidence. Both the finite and infinite periodic geometries are considered. The former case is analyzed by using of hybrid FEM/MOM and the latter by using of full MOM procedure. Some numerical results for the reflected and transmitted powers in a grounded dielectric slab, radiation power into the free space, and radiation patterns in case of finite structure and for the dispersion diagram in case of infinite structure are presented. And some descriptions on the relationship between the finite and infinite structure such as the maximum beam angle are given.

  • In this paper, a cause-consequence chart is applied to evaluate the probability that the containment spray system in a nuclear power plant may not be woring properly, given a demand for spryaing at loss of coolant accident (LOCA). It is shown how the diagram provides a basis for calculating two probability measures for malfunctioning of this system, in case the test policy of the system is taken into account, i.e., average probability that the containment spray cannot be established, and average probability that the containment spray is established : spray stops before the required operating time is over.

  • The overhead transmission wires operating both at warm temperature and tighten state for a long period of time in a power transmission plant are degraded by air pollution, wind, creep and slip between steel wire and aluminium conductor. The objective of this study is to investigate a high carbon steel wire. We tested for basic mechanical properties and 3 types fatigue behavior, tension-tension, 4 points bending and 3 points bending fatigues. In this study, a conventional fatigue strengths between 4 points bending and tension-tension fatigue were determined by Gerber, Sorderberg and Goodman's theory and we investigated S-N diagram for bending and tensile loading.

  • A wind turbine obtains its power input by converting the force of the wind into a torque (turning force) acting on the rotor blades. The amount of energy which the wind transfers to the rotor depends on the density of the air, the rotor area, and the wind speed. Because it has long term operating life and very complex load condition, the fatigue strength of each component must be considered. In this paper, we calculated the load condition by wind using a combined blade elemental theory and a FEM based analytical approach was use to evaluate the fatigue strength of a Hub of wind turbine. The effect of tensile mean stress was taken into account by the modified Goodman diagram. Using this approaches, we evaluated the fatigue strength of hub and main shaft and improved the design.

  • The objective of this study is to find out the design data for gas burner with an axal and radial type nozzles. The design parameters are chosen as the stabilizer type, the jet hole size of gas nozzle, the distance between gas nozzle and stabilizer, the size of stabilizer and the hole size of stabilizer, the stabilizer type with or without air swirler, the angle of swirler. For the experimental test combustor sizing ${\phi}1.3m{\times}L4.5m$ is designed and manufactured, in which the set up of power diagram, the exhaust gas analysis, blow-off test, the flame temperature and the direct photography are performed.

  • The demands of size and quality of large steel shaft forgings for ship building, power plant, steel plant, etc. are rapidly increasing, and some of these productions are manufactured from ingot weighing more than 300 tons. For use as rotating components. shafts require toughness, strength and homogeneity, and therefore are produced through a variety of heat treatments. According to the increase of ingot size, micro- and macrosegregation and also mass effect of the product increase. Thus, special care should be paid to the heat treatment of such large shaft forgings. In this paper, the heat treatment of large shaft forgings such as rotor and back-up roll is calculated using the commercial finite element code SYSWELD. Calculated distributions of temperature and phase are compared with experimental data. The continuous cooling transformation diagram, thermal and mechanical properites of each phase are used. The phase proportion, hardness and residual stress during water quenching are discussed.

  • Every mechanical system has a series of natural frequencies at which it will vibrate and to which it will respond if an external stimulus or excitation at this frequency is applied. Vibration is not of itself dangerous, and is always anticipated in an operating unit. However, if the frequency of operation is coincidental with one of the natural frequency of the blade system or the blade has a natural frequency near coincide with the exciting stimulus, then the amplitude of vibration of the blade may increase to the destructive damage can result. In this paper We investigated damage of blade when turbine operated.

  • 본 연구에서는 일반적으로 사용되고 있는 랜덤 수 발생 알고리즘인 LCG(Linear Congruential Generator)대신에 카오스 2중 텐트사상(Tent Mapping)에 의한 저 스위칭 소음 유도모터구동 시스템을 제안하였다. 2중 텐트사상에 의한 랜덤 수 발생을 위해 카오스 발생 영역인 $\lambda=0.99$에서의 2중 텐트사상의 분기도(Bifurcation Diagram)를 사용하였다. 카오스 랜덤수와 3상 기준 정현파는 80C196 마이크로 콘트롤러가 전담하고 있으며, 80C196으로부터 발생된 카오스 랜덤 수에 의하여 MAX038로부터 랜덤 주파수의 삼각파 캐리어가 발생된다. 기계적인 소음이 없는 ECB(Eddy current Brake)를 부하로 사용한 3상 유도모터 구동 장치를 제작하여 본 연구의 타당성을 입증하였다.

Large size accident in a semiconductor industry to machine and human and it is involved that present, in system by safety interlock defect of machine is conclusion for error of behaviour. What is not construing in this study, do safety in a semiconductor industry to do improvement. Control human error analyzes in human control with and considers mechanical element and several elements. Also, apply achievement factor using O'conner Model by control method of human error. In analyze by failure mode effect using actuality example.

  • 고리 1호기 운전원 교육용 가상 시뮬레이터 개발은 고리 1,2호기 운전원, 특히 시뮬레이터가 없는 고리 1호기 운전원의 시뮬레이터 실습효과를 향상시키고 규제기관의 규제요건 충족 및 신입사원 등의 계통교육을 효과적으로 수행하는데 그 목적이 있다 현재 1단계가종료된 상태로 현재까지 개발된 범위는 고리 1호기를 기준발전소로 하여 전 범위 시뮬레이터 모델과 동일한 구조와 기능을 갖는 원자로심, 열수력 계통 및 CVCS등 주요 계통을 개발하였으며, 이들 계통을 제어하기 위한 강사조작용 소프트웨어, Sim Diagram Soft Panel 등이 개발되었다. 고리 1호기 가상 시뮬레이터를 개발함으로 기준 발전소 시뮬레이터가 없는 고리1호기 운전원의 교육훈련에 지대하게 효과를 높일 것으로 예상된다.
