수열합성법으로 제조된 Bi2MoO6에서 로다민 B의 광촉매 분해 반응 (Photocatalytic Decomposition of Rhodamin B over Bi2MoO6 Prepared Using Hydrothermal Process)

  • EGME, GL 및 EG와 물을 용매를 사용하여 $Bi_2MoO_6$ 산화물을 수열합성법으로 성공적으로 합성하였다. 이들 촉매들의 물리적 특성을 XRD, DRS, BET, SEM 및 PL 등으로 분석하였고 제조된 촉매들을 사용하여 가시광선 조사 하에서의 로다민 B의 광분해 반응에서의 활성을 조사하였다. XRD의 분석 결과에 의하면 대부분의 촉매들은 수열합성법에 의해 이 합성조건에서 용매의 종류와 관계없이 Aurivillius 구조를 가진 ${\gamma}-Bi_2MoO_6$의 결정화가 잘 이루어졌으며 12에서 18 nm의 크기를 나타내었다. 또한, 합성온도가 $140^{\circ}C$ 이하에서는 $Bi_2MoO_6$ 산화물의 특성피크가 잘 나타나지 않았으나, $160^{\circ}C$ 이상의 온도에서는 $Bi_2MoO_6$ 산화물의 특성피크가 잘 나타났다. 모든 촉매들은 자외선 영역부터 470 nm보다 낮은 파장의 가시광 영역에서 강한 흡수스펙트럼을 보여주고 있다. 이 결과는 $Bi_2MoO_6$ 산화물들이 가시광 영역에서도 광촉매 활성을 보여주고 있는 것을 의미한다. EGME를 용매로 사용하여 제조된 $Bi_2MoO_6$ 촉매가 가장 높은 광분해 활성을 나타내었고 $180^{\circ}C$에서 합성된 촉매가 가장 높은 광활성을 보여주었다. 모든 촉매들은 560 nm 부근에서 강하고 넓은 PL 흡수밴드가 나타났으며, 이 피크의 세기가 커질수록 광분해 활성이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.

Evaluation of Near-infrared Fluorescence-conjugated Peptides for Visualization of Human Epidermal Receptor 2-overexpressed Gastric Cancer

  • Purpose: A near-infrared (NIR) fluorescence imaging is a promising tool for cancer-specific image guided surgery. Human epidermal receptor 2 (HER2) is one of the candidate markers for gastric cancer. In this study, we aimed to synthesize HER2-specific NIR fluorescence probes and evaluate their applicability in cancer-specific image-guided surgeries using an animal model. Materials and Methods: An NIR dye emitting light at 800 nm (IRDye800CW; Li-COR) was conjugated to trastuzumab and an HER2-specific affibody using a click mechanism. HER2 affinity was assessed using surface plasmon resonance. Gastric cancer cell lines (NCI-N87 and SNU-601) were subcutaneously implanted into female BALB/c nu (6-8 weeks old) mice. After intravenous injection of the probes, biodistribution and fluorescence signal intensity were measured using Lumina II (Perkin Elmer) and a laparoscopic NIR camera (InTheSmart). Results: Trastuzumab-IRDye800CW exhibited high affinity for HER2 (KD=2.093(3) pM). Fluorescence signals in the liver and spleen were the highest at 24 hours post injection, while the signal in HER2-positive tumor cells increased until 72 hours, as assessed using the Lumina II system. The signal corresponding to the tumor was visually identified and clearly differentiated from the liver after 72 hours using a laparoscopic NIR camera. Affibody-IRDye800CW also exhibited high affinity for HER2 (KD=4.71 nM); however, the signal was not identified in the tumor, probably owing to rapid renal clearance. Conclusions: Trastuzumab-IRDye800CW may be used as a potential NIR probe that can be injected 2-3 days before surgery to obtain high HER2-specific signal and contrast. Affibody-based NIR probes may require modifications to enhance mobilization to the tumor site.

  • 단일 레이저의 출력 한계를 뛰어넘기 위한 빔결합 방법으로서, 보강간섭 원리를 이용한 타일형 결맞음 빔결합 시스템에 대해 연구하였다. 와트급 출력의 3 채널 결맞음 광섬유 레이저 및 삼각형 배치의 팁-틸트(tip-tilt) 기능을 갖춘 3 채널 출력단을 자체제작 하였다. 모니터링 시스템, 위상제어기, 3 채널 위상변조기 간의 궤환 제어 시스템(closed-loop system)을 구성하고 SPGD 알고리즘을 적용하여, 위상잠금 속도 5~67 kHz, 이상적인 계산값 대비 중심부 광세기 효율 53.3%의 성공적인 3 채널 위상잠금을 구현하였다. 빔결합 소자가 필요 없고, 가장 고출력 가능성을 가진 타일형 결맞음 빔결합을 위한 요소기술 개발이 완료되어, 향후 다채널, 고출력, 고속 제어 연구로 이어질 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

관수조절에 의한 벽면녹화의 냉각효과 분석 연구- 아이비, 수호초를 식재한 모듈형 벽면녹화를 중심으로- (A field Study to Evaluate Cooling Effects of Green Facade under Different Irrigation Conditions - Focusing on modular green facade planted with Hedera helix L and Pachysandra terminalis -)

  • Green facade has a significant impact on building's energy performance by controlling the absorption of solar radiation and improving outdoor thermal comfort through shading and evapotranspiration. In particular, since high-density building does not enough green space, green facade, and rooftop greening using artificial ground plants are highly utilized. However, the level of cooling effect according to plant traits and irrigation control is different. Therefore, in this study, the cooling effect analyzed for a total of 4 cases by controlling the irrigation condition based on hedera and spurge. Although hedera under sufficient water had the highest cooling effect(-2℃~-4℃), had the lowest cooling effect under non-irrigation(+1.1℃~+4.4℃). In addition, hedera under sufficient water had cooling effect than hedera under non-irrigation(-1℃~-8.1℃) and in the case of spurge, it had cooling effect(-0.3℃~-7.8℃) more than non-irrigation. As a result of measuring the amount of transpiration according to the light intensity (PAR) and carbon dioxide concentration conditions, transpiration of hedera was higher than the spurge (respectively 0.63204mmolm-2s-1, 0.674367mmolm-2s-1). The difference in the cooling effect of the green facade under irrigation condition was significant. But the potential cooling effect of green facade according to plants species was different. Therefore, in order to maximize and continuously provide the cooling effect of green facade in urban areas, it is necessary to consider the characteristics of plants and the control of water supply through the irrigation system.

Disease vector occurrence and ecological characteristics of chiggers on the chestnut white-bellied rat Niviventer fulvescens in Southwest China between 2001 and 2019

  • Chigger mites are the vector of scrub typhus. This study estimates the infestation status and ecological characteristics of chiggers on the chestnut white-bellied rat Niviventer fulvescens in Southwest China between 2001 and 2019. Chiggers were identified under the microscope, and infestation indices were calculated. The Preston's log-normal model was used to fit the curve of species abundance distribution. A total of 6,557 chiggers were collected in 136 of 342 N. fulvescens rats, showing high overall infestation indices (prevalence=39.8%, mean abundance=19.2, mean intensity=48.2) and high species diversity (S=100, H'=3.0). Leptotrombidium cangjiangense, Neotrombicula japonica, and Ascoschoengastia sifanga were the three dominant chigger species (constituent ratio=42.9%; 2,736/6,384) and exhibited an aggregated distribution among different rat individuals. We identified 100 chigger species, with 3 of them (Leptotrombidium scutellare, Leptotrombidium wenense, and Leptotrombidium deliense) as the main vectors of scrub typhus in China and nine species as potential vectors of this disease. Disease vector occurrence on N. fulvescens may increase the risk of spreading scrub typhus from rats to humans. Chigger infestation on N. fulvescens varied significantly in different environments. The species abundance distribution showed a log-normal distribution pattern. The estimated number of chigger species on N. fulvescens was 126 species.

수출유망중소기업 지원프로그램이 수출성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Influence of Export Promotion Programs on SMEs' Export Performance: Focusing on Promising SMEs in Export)

  • 본 연구는 중소기업 수출지원제도가 수출성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 수출유망중소기업들을 대상으로 제공되는 수출지원프로그램이 기업의 수출성과에 미치는 영향을 실증분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 IBK기업은행에서 제공한 중소기업DB를 기반으로 2016년부터 2019년까지 16,814개 기업의 42,312개 관측치로 구성된 패널자료를 구축하여 고정효과모형을 이용한 분석을 수행하였다. 실증분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수출유망중소기업 지원프로그램의 선정효과는 수출비중과 유의한 정(+)의 관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 추가분석을 통해 수출유망중소기업으로 선정되어 수출지원을 받는 기업들 중 유관기관(IBK기업은행) 금융지원을 이용하는 경우는 그렇지 않은 기업보다 수출증가율과 재무성과가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 중소기업의 해외진출에 있어 수출지원제도의 필요성에도 불구하고 지원제도의 유사성, 중복성이 그간 한계로 지적되고 있다. 본 연구는 연구대상을 수출유망중소기업으로 선정된 중소기업으로 한정하고, IBK기업은행의 수출지원프로그램의 효과를 특정하여 분석함으로써 설문조사 및 횡단면분석 중심의 선행연구를 보완하고 수출유망중소기업 수출 활성화를 위한 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The Evaluation of Adaptability of Three Ever-green Perennial Herbaceous South Korea Native Plants under In-door Light Intensities

  • Though there is an on-going need for the diversity of ornamental plants for in-door environment, their growth and stress adaptability in comparatively low light intensity condition require further studies for implementation. Here investigates the growth and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters of Farfugium japonicum (L.) Kitam, Liriope muscari (Decne.) L.H.Bailey and Acorus gramineus Aiton under several light intensities which were based on common in-door environment. The growth measurement of the plants included the quantity, length, width and SPAD value of the leaves. Calculated values of Fm/Fo, Fv/Fm, Pi_Abs, ETo/RC and DIo/RC were used as the parameters of the chlorophyll fluorescence under 10, 50, 100 and 200 PPFD (μmol·m-2·s-1) light intensities. In-door plants group was put in a closed room allowing no other light sources for 10 weeks and the control group was put in glass-greenhouse for the same period. The overall in-door growth of L. muscari was not significantly different in all light intensities compared to the control group and even showed the higher SPAD values. Also, an increasing tendency of Pi_Abs value under 10 to 100 PPFD was observed implying that L.muscari could adapt well to in-door environment. Measurement of A. gramineus growth mostly showed the highest values in the control group especially in the number of the leaves. Nevertheless, chlorophyll fluorescence parameters showed no significant value difference between in-door and the control groups and thus, A. gramineus might have possibility of successful adaptation to in-door environment. F. japonicum showed deficient growth in plant height and leaf length compared to the control but, it seemed to be able to sustain ornamental value under in-door light intensities. Furthermore, Pi_Abs and DIo/RC values were increased under in-door light conditions suggesting potential adaptability of F. japonicum.

Pharmacoacupuncture for the Treatment of Frozen Shoulder: protocol for a systematic review and meta-analysis

  • Objectives: Frozen shoulder (FS) is one of the most challenging shoulder disorders for patients and clinicians. Its symptoms mainly include any combination of stiffness, nocturnal pain, and limitation of active and passive glenohumeral joint movement. Conventional treatment options for FS are physical therapy, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, injection therapy, and arthroscopic capsular release, but adverse and limited effects continue to present problems. As a result, pharmacoacupuncture (PA) is getting attention as an alternative therapy for patients with FS. PA is a new form of acupuncture treatment in traditional Korean medicine (TKM) that is mainly used for musculoskeletal diseases. It has similarity and specificity compared to corticosteroid injection and hydrodilatation, making it a potential alternative injection therapy for FS. However, no systematic reviews investigating the utilization of PA for FS have been published. Therefore, this review aims to standardize the clinical use of PA for FS and validate its therapeutic effect. Methods: The protocol was registered in Prospero (CRD42023445708) on 18 July 2023. Until Aug. 31, 2023, seven electronic databases will be searched for randomized controlled trials of PA for FS. Authors will be contacted, and manual searches will also be performed. Two reviewers will independently screen and collect data from retrieved articles according to predefined criteria. The primary outcome will be pain intensity, and secondary outcomes will be effective rate, Constant-Murley Score, Shoulder Pain and Disability Index, range of motion, quality of life, and adverse events. Bias and quality of the included trials will be assessed using the Cochrane handbook's risk-of-bias tool for randomized trials. Meta analyses will be conducted using Review Manager V.5.3 software. GRADE will be used to evaluate the level of evidence for each outcome. Results: This systematic review and meta-analysis will be conducted following PRISMA statement. The results will be published in a peer-reviewed journal. Conclusion: This review will provide scientific evidence to support health insurance policy as well as the standardization of PA in clinical practice.

아동기 학대 경험이 성인의 단절/거절도식에 미치는 영향 :억제와 재해석의 조절효과 비교 (The Impact of Childhood Abuse Experience on Adults' Disconnection/Rejection Schemas: A Comparison of Moderating Effects of Inhibition and Reinterpretation)

  • 본 연구는 아동기 학대 경험과 성인의 초기 부적응 도식 간의 관계에 대해 조명하고, 이 관계에서 표현적 억제와 인지적 재해석의 조절효과를 비교 분석하였다. 대전과 충청지역 대학원생 220명을 대상으로 실시한 자기보고식 설문조사를 통해, 210명의 데이터를 분석한 결과, 특히 아동기 학대 경험과 성인의 단절/거절 도식의 연관성에서 억제의 조절효과가 유의하게 나타났다. 분석 결과, 표현적 억제 수준이 높은 경우, 아동기 학대 경험이 단절/거절 도식에 미치는 부정적 영향이 감소하는 반면, 억제 수준이 낮은 경우에는 이러한 부정적 영향이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 초기 부적응 도식이 장기간에 걸쳐 성격처럼 굳어진 경향이 있는 사람들에게 있어, 인지적 재해석 전략이 변화를 이끌기 어려울 수 있음을 시사한다. 반면, 표현적 억제 전략은 단절/거절 도식을 포함한 초기 부적응 도식의 강도를 낮추는 데 더 효과적일 수 있다. 이러한 발견은 아동기 학대 경험의 장기적인 영향을 이해하고, 이로 인한 부적응적 도식을 완화하기 위한 개입 전략을 개발하는 데 중요한 시사점을 제공한다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 후속 연구에 대한 제언과 함께, 심리적 개입에서 억제와 재해석 전략의 적용 가능성과 한계에 대해 논의하였다.

Clinical Feasibility of Dual-Layer CT With Virtual Monochromatic Image for Preoperative Staging in Patients With Breast Cancer: A Comparison With Breast MRI

  • Objective: Dual-layer CT (DLCT) can create virtual monochromatic images (VMIs) at various monochromatic X-ray energies, particularly at low keV levels, with high contrast-to-noise ratio. The purpose of this study was to assess the clinical feasibility of contrast-enhanced chest DLCT with a low keV VMI for preoperative breast cancer staging, in comparison to breast MRI. Materials and Methods: A total of 152 patients with 155 index breast cancers were enrolled in the study. VMIs were generated from contrast-enhanced chest DLCT at 40 keV and maximum intensity projection (MIP) with three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction was performed for both bilateral breast areas. Two radiologists reviewed in consensus the 3D MIP images of the chest DLCT with VMI and breast MRI in separate sessions with a 3-month wash-out period. The detection rate and mean tumor size of the index cancer were compared between the chest DLCT with VMI and breast MRI. Additionally, the agreement of tumor size measurement between the two imaging modalities were evaluated. Results: Of all index cancers, 84.5% (131/155) were detected in the chest DLCT with VMI, while 88.4% (137/155) were detected in the breast MRI (P = 0.210). The Bland-Altman agreement between the chest DLCT with VMI and breast MRI was a mean difference of -0.05 cm with 95% limits of agreement of -1.29 to 1.19 cm. The tumor size in the chest DLCT with VMI (2.3 ± 1.7 cm) was not significantly different from that in the breast MRI (2.4 ± 1.6 cm) (P = 0.106). Conclusion: The feasibility of chest DLCT with VMI was demonstrated for preoperative tumor staging in breast cancer patients, showing comparable cancer detectability and good agreement in tumor size measurement compared to breast MRI. This suggests that chest DLCT with VMI can serve as a potential alternative for patients who have contraindications to breast MRI.
