자동차보험시장에서의 브랜드로열티와 브랜드변경행태 (Brand Loyalty and Brand Switching Behavior in Car Insurance Market)

  • In this paper, an approach for analyzing brand loyalty and brand switching behavior in car insurance market is presented. A two-choice model by Blumen, et al. that uses Markov chain is adopted as a main technique for estimating brand parameters. Survey data have been collected through personal interviews with questionnaires. Following the application of the model to the data, it is found that there are five leading companies in car insurance market where the number of potential brand switchers is larger than that of brand loyal customers. Therefore, differentiation of this product along with the conversion of this low-involvement product to a high-involvement one could make car insurance stand out against a somewhat undifferentiated field of competitors.

  • The increase of vehicles stagnations leads to the increasing attention to the way customers pay and a large number of projects on electronic cash system. Transport system is comprised of a number of advanced technologies, including information processing, communications, control, and electronics. Recently many research on a system which provides contact in order to protect driver's vehicle passage have been carried out. And some potential problems from that system are being reviewed by electronic cash system. In this papers, we suggest RF protocol developing technology using the concept of electronic cash. ATM electronic cash developing is consist of component of pre-developed coin throw, integration of component using its, and production of more requirement-satisfactory ITS solution. Result increase 15∼40% pre-type vehicles stagnations. Especially, we expect this proposed concept would be well adapted to our national environments.

  • Energy industry is undergoing a paradigm shift in customer participation in the smartgrid. Customers traditionally consume electrical power. But nowadays not only do they generate electricity from private distributed generations, they can participate in demand response programs with their negawatt power which means a theoretical unit of power representing an amount of energy saved. Therefore development of decision-making criteria for electric load aggregation becomes a greater consideration as an amount of energy saved from demand response resources increases. This paper proposes load aggregators' decision-making criteria in the industrial sector where it made up the largest portion in demand response portfolio in order to assure reliability performance for demand response resources.

  • 본 논문은 호텔의 웹사이트에 대한 인터넷 사용자들의 평가는 호텔의 등급, 규모, 소유권, 그리고 고객의 유형에 따라서 다를 것이라는 가설을 갖고 연구하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면 호텔의 위치와 고객의 유형은 인터넷을 이용한 마케팅에서는 전략적 이점이 점차적으로 약해지고 있으나 호텔의 등급, 규모, 그리고 소유권 구조는 인터넷을 이용한 비즈니스 환경에서도 우위를 점하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 연구를 통하여 알 수 있었던 것은 인터넷으로 하여 도심지 호텔과 지방호텔 간의 차이가 점점 좁혀지고 있으므로 지방 호텔의 마케팅의 기회가 확대될 가능성이 있다는 것이다.

  • The objective of this study is to analyze customer needs for the configuration of an aircraft cockpit layout of a single piston propeller aircraft. From the result of survey, we figure out the demand of the potential customers. We consider control stick and instrument out of several items to determine which pay for the aircraft or not. We analyze types and features of the aircraft control stick and the instrument which are equipped in the same aircraft in order to figure out what is best needed through a market survey and a questionnaire survey.

  • This research investigates the present situation of petroleum market and the potential strategy which help gas stat ion obtain compel it ive advantages. Specifically, this research chooses five factors (product quality, service, price, multi-function, easy entrance) which are believed to be extensively related to repurchasing intent ion. The findings are as follows ; First, four factors associated wi th gas stat ion choice (product quality, service, price, multi-function) are related to repurchase intent ion except easy entrance. Second, sex and age have moderating effects between factors and repurchase intention. To keep and preoccupy new customers, the administrators of petroleum industry and gas station should establish sales/administration strategies considering these above.

온라인 플랫폼 경험: 호스피탈리티 고객 인게이지먼트 및 로열티 향상 방안 (Online Platform Experience: Enhancing Customer Engagement and Loyalty in the Hospitality Industry)

  • This study aims to develop a conceptual framework linking antecedents and consequences of online platform experience in the context of hospitality businesses. In doing so, an introduction to online platform experience in the hospitality industry was made, and environmental stimuli, that is, enablers of online platform experience were identified: information, entertainment and relation. Additionally, the theoretical review attempted to explain how customers are likely to be engaged in, and to be loyal to, the hospitality organizations' provisions in the context of online platforms. When presenting the theoretical model, a Stimulus-Organism-Response paradigm was employed to propose the hypotheses predicting positive online platform experience, which seems to derive from internally provoked cognition and affection within individuals, leading to behavioral consequences. This model is expected to be applicable to the online context, where hospitality businesses tend to adopt the concept of gamification and to implement associated loyalty programs. Finally, theoretical and practical implications, along with potential avenues of future research, were discussed.

Evaluating Brand Name Connotation to a Country: A Conceptualization

  • A good brand name is very important for the success of a product. A thoughtful brand name can convey information that can influence potential customers in a positive way. Thus marketers often formulate brand names intended to explicitly or implicitly play a role in influencing customer perceptions. One way of doing this is to have a brand name bearing connotations to a foreign country. In general, prior research on country-of-origin effects has not adequately focused on exploring brand name connotation and its effect on product evaluation. This research presents a conceptual framework for determining if/how brand name connotation to a foreign country affects product evaluation. Specifically, this paper reviews relevant literature pertaining to country-of-origin and brand name connotation, discusses a conceptualization, proposes research hypotheses, and outlines procedures for collecting data to evaluate the proposed hypotheses.

  • The potential needs as well as visible needs of customer should be considered in order to research and analyze of the customer data. The methods to analyze customer data is classified into customer segmentation, clustering analysis model, forecasting customer response probability model, analysis of the customer break rate model and new customer analysis model by the purpose. In this study, we developed the CW-CLV (Correlation Weight Customer Lifetime Value)method that used AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)rule for enhance the reliability of customer data and quantitative analysis of the customer segmentation, based on CLV(Customer Lifetime Value). We suggest to new variables and methodology from determined CW-CLV coefficients, because all of companies respect to the diversified customers classification and complexity of consumers needs. Finally, we unfolded any company's scheduling added new methodology using simulation and leaded conclusion about the new methodology.
