  • The purpose of this study is to investigate factors influencing the attitude and satisfaction with inventory management of hospitals. Data were collected from 344 employees in two hospitals located in Seoul and one hospital located in Choong-Chung Do, Korea, using a self-administered questionnaire. Items included in the self-administered questionnaire were hospital and socioeconomic characteristics of personnels such as the level of knowledge, practice, attitude, and satisfaction with inventory management of hospitals. Major findings were as follows; Job position was significantly associated with satisfaction with inventory management. According to age, sex, type of position and aptitude of personnel the level of positive attitude to and satisfaction with inventory management showed significant association. Generally, those who had higher level of knowledge and practice showed a higher tendency toward positive attitude of inventory management, except for those in medical support post. A higher tendency of satisfaction with inventory management was also observed, with the exception of personnel in nurse post. This study showed that major factors affecting attitude toward inventory management are level of knowledge and practice, and factors affecting satisfaction are job position and aptitude. The level of attitude and satisfaction explained by these factors were 46.8% and 12.2%, respectively. According to the results of this study, higher level of knowledge and practice, job position and aptitude appear to be essential for the implementation of effective inventory management. Factors affecting attitude and satisfaction of inventory management should be studied more in depth systematically so that other objective test and measurements can be developed.

  • This paper describes how to storing and querying trajectory information on PostgreSQL/PostGIS. Recently as technology of mobile devices is advancing, many researches for location-based services and moving object's trajectory have been studied. Trajectory is the set of information of the location by the time, and is one of the most im portant information for location-based services. Traditional spatial database systems do not support trajectory data types and functions. In this paper, we propose a trajectory data type and query functions for moving objects on PostgreSQL/PostGIS.

  • Although the study of post-adoption has increased in recent years, few studies have focused on the moderating effect of uncertainty avoidance on the relationship between post-expectation and behavior. The purpose of this study is to examine the moderating effect of uncertainty avoidance in the mobile Internet domains. This study proposed a post-adoption model based on prior continuance model. This theoretical model was verified empirically by conducting web surveys and multi-group analysis. Based on the survey data, we classified users into those with high uncertainty avoidance and those with low uncertainty avoidance. The results indicate that post expectations have significant impacts on satisfaction and continuance intention. The results also show that the impacts of intrinsic motivational factors of mobile Internet services on satisfaction and continuance intention are stronger for users with high uncertainty avoidance. On the other hand, the impacts of extrinsic motivational factors on satisfaction and continuance intention are stronger for users with low uncertainty avoidance, with a few exceptions. This paper ends with theoretical and managerial implications of the study results, as well as limitations and future research directions.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the medical ecosystem in the post-corona era. In addition, this study introduces a new medical CRM model that allows primary-level hospitals to overcome the economic difficulties and to occupy a competitive advantage in the post-corona era. The medical environment in the post-corona era is expected to be changed by non-face-to-face treatment, reinforcement of public medical care, the transformation of a medical system centered on the primary-level hospitals, and the use of AI and big data technologies. The medical CRM model presented in this study emphasizes the establishment of mutual customer relationships through close information exchange between patients, primary-level hospital, and the government. In the post-corona era, primary-level hospitals should not simply be approached as private hospital pursuing profitability. These should be reestablished as the hospitals that can provide public health care services while ensuring stable profitability.

  • This study intends to examine the relations between the demographical and the socioeconomic variables on the post-purchase behavior of durable goods in rural household . Several concrete hypothesis in the above study were set as follows: 1) The evaluation on the post-purchase of rural household might be differently made in accordance with sex, age, resident district, education level, income level, family type and user's own purchasing, etc. 2)There can be differences in the attitude on the post-purchase of rural household in accordance with sex, age, resident district, education level, income level, family type and user's own purchasing, etc. 3) It must be of necessity to habe correlation between the evaluation and the attitude of the post- purchase. To examine these hypothesis, the study used the 27 questionnaires which are composed of 7 subject for general characteristics and 10 subjects respectively for the post-purchase evaluation and attitude of 285 rural households in Chon Nam Province. They were interviewed for 11days from Apr. 1st, 1983 to Apr. 11 the, 1983. Statistical methods such as frequency, percentage, Chi-Square test, arithmetical mean, t-test, F-test and Pearson's correlation coefficients, etc. are used for the data analysis. The summary and the conclusion resulted form such analysis are as follows; First, high significances are shown on the age the resident district the education level and the family type as significant variables affecting on the post-purchase evaluation of the rural house hold. Second, high significances are shown on the education level, the income level, the family type and the users own purchasing, etc. as significant variables affecting on the post-purchase attitude of rural household. Third, correlations between the post-purchase evaluation and the post-purchase attitude are very close. Therefore the hypothesis 1)and 2) of this study were accepted partially and the hypothesis 3) was confirmed wholely.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the evaluation perspectives of IT business value and empirically analyze the differences of evaluation perspectives between ex ante evaluation and post implementation evaluation, and among various information system types. 4 evaluation perspectives which have been used in the previous studies and in the field of industry practices are financial, customer, internal process, and growth, which are based on the BSC model. Data of 98 information systems have been collected from 89 companies including manufacturers, banks, insurances, and stock trading companies. As results of multi-way MANOVA test, 3 out of 8 hypothesis have been accepted statistically. While the order of importance of 4 perspectives in ex ante evaluation is customer, financial, internal process, and growth, the order of post implementation evaluation appears to be much different : that is, internal process, customer, financial, and growth. These findings provide insights for both IT practitioners and researchers.
