The purpose of this study is to analyze expressions in the first and second grade math textbooks in elementary school in the aspect of possibilities of learners' understanding and propose proper directions for expressions in math textbooks to increase the possibilities of their understanding. The findings show that there were four types of expression errors and five types of mathematical errors in the aspects of expression method and content, respectively.

Competency and competency-based education are topics of great interest to educators and administrators at most stages of undergraduate and postgraduate medical training. A competency-based approach in medical setting has been valued as a more effective way to strengthen learners' performance compared to the traditional education program. This article aims to explore theoretical and practical possibilities and limitations of competency-based medical education. We approached the topic in 3 gradual steps: the comprehension of background of competency-based education, the conceptual understanding of competency in professional education, and the exploration of possibilities and limitations of competency-based medical education. The last step of analysis was performed in three dimensions: educational objectives, references to judge performance, and performance evaluation criteria. In conclusion, we suggest 4 factors which need to be considered to implement a competency-based medical education.

The purpose of this study is to try finding the research possibilities of computer technology in art education and understand why computer technology has such a great impact on our contemporary education. The methodology of this study is based on the analysis of literature review. I have tried to find the importance articles in the journals of art education such as Studies in Art Education and Art Education published from the National Art Education Association, one of the most well-known organizations in the field of art education. To draw the purpose of this study, I found articles and categorized the information using key words such as aesthetic, feminist, gender issues, and interactivity. After analyzing, I have discussed about the research possibilities and important issues of computer technology in art education and then categorized the information found in each article into four different subheadings: 1) the visual effects of computer graphics in art education, 2) gender issues based on the computer technology, 3) interactive multimedia and social interactions among students, 4) research possibilities with computer technologies in art education. The findings are as follow. Firstly, there were many research possibilities of computer technologies in art education such as ways of criticizing the contemporary art world. Secondly, I found that computer technology has a great impact on art education because students are more eager to engage with computer technologies-based media activities and very familiar with new media either at home and school. Therefore, we, as educators, must address how the student will be systematically engaged with computer technologies in their educational environment and should determine what knowledge and skills prospective teachers bring to our teacher education programs and how and where they acquired this knowledge.

The objective of this research is to suggest new geometric possibilities in digital architecture by investigating the characteristics of hybridization in digital geometry. The research begins with theoretical background research such as defining hybridization, investigating hybrid thinking, and studying the theory of digital geometry, along with the four conceptual characteristics of hybridization that could be drawn, such as temporality, liquidity, complexity, and connectivity. Based on these characteristics, the generative method of hybrid digital geometric languages such as Blob, Particle, Morph, Loft, and Boolean was analyzed with case research in contemporary digital architecture. As a result, diverse hybrid geometric keywords were extracted; these keywords suggest potential meanings of hybridization such as accidentality, mobility, diversity, and identity. Different elements represent the "mobility" in time by the force and wave, and they are "accidentally" combined in gradual change. The united species in "diverse" characters are seamlessly connected and emerge as a new "identity." The research maximizes the generative possibilities in digital geometry and provides a theoretical basis to apply the digital hybrid methods to architectural design by suggesting the potential meanings and possibilities in hybridization.

Transmission loss retains a complete set of system state information. If we could exploit its behavior, we could find various useful applications. This study is a such exploitation to find same possibilities of the loss application. It seems to have very prospective possibilities. It has been tried to establish some network indices to indicate operation margin. And further some prospective applications are suggested.

We met the continued population growth, contamination of both surface and groundwaters, deficiency of water resources, and increase of water demand. Wastewater reclamation and reusing system are important facilities in water resources planning aspect. The required water quality for reclamed wastewater varies with each application. This study was conducted to examine the possibilities of the wastewater reclamation and reusing on milk manufacturing wastewater. Biofiltration could reduce the COD$_{Cr}$, NH$_{3}$-N. Turbidty was reduced highly by coagulation. In conclusion, we identified the possibilities of wastewater reclamation and reusing on milk manufacturing wastewater's by biological activated carbon filter.

The spiral form, which comes from the organic form of natural phenomenon such as growth of creatures, has been used as a factor of formative shape in various fields of art until now. In conjunction herewith, this study intends to discover and express the life force and the formative beauty of natural substances with the organic spiral forms into clothing design, using various creating methods and materials such as Korean traditional paper. The natural substances with the spiral structure, such as seashells, land snails, passion flower, curled flower, growing chart of plants, Impatiens textori was used as subjects of the designs. The seven pieces of work were completed with attempts to develop aesthetic forms through the presentation techniques and methods via restructuring process of simplification, partial transformation and consolidation. Through such process the conclusion of this study is as follows: First, the nature, with unlimited possibilities, could be subject of human formative activities, leading to the creative world of formative art for designers. Second, adaptation of the spiral organic forms of nature into the contemporary clothing designs proved the motif as a source of inspiration of diverse subject, in recognition with its innate formative beauty as well as external shape. Third, design expressions via restructuring process of simplification, partial transformation and consolidation with designer's subjective point of view were adequate for the creations of contemporary fashion designs. Fourth, the Korean traditional paper, as a fine material for various shape according to the handling method, could be used appropriately in the contemporary clothing designs, expressing our aesthetic senses. Fifth and finally, expansion of the realm of formative expression of clothing through the development of possibilities of expression in contemporary clothing would enhance the creative possibilities of clothing design as formative art. In conclusion, the expression of clothing design as formative art was developed on the emphasis of re-creation of natural objects of the organic spiral form. For the future study, the applications of spiral form into everyday clothing designs, consolidating artistic senses and practical senses, are expected as opportunity of proposing developmental possibilities of the contemporary clothing designs.

The purpose of this study was to explore the possibilities of using the Metaverse in mathematics education. The use of the Metaverse started for commercial purposes, and now its use is expanding to all areas, including education. For this study, the researcher analyzed preceding studies related to the Metaverse and the domestic Metaverse platforms for mathematics education in Korea. As a result of the study, the use of Metaverse for mathematics education is still in its beginning stage, and most of the content is limited to mathematical games. However, there are a lot of opportunities and possibilities for mathematics education with Metaverse, and we need to develop the Metaverse platforms specialized for mathematics education with high-quality mathematics content. The researcher suggested to build infrastructure and operate a national level educational Metaverse platform, develop math-specific Metaverse platforms and mathematical content based on field-tested research on the use of the Metaverse platforms. The researcher also emphasized the necessity of teacher education programs for teachers to strengthen the utilization capacity of the Metaverse for mathematics education.

This study is to predict the possibilities of phenomenological spatial design, by recognizing that a phenomenological spatial design brings about a change in the type, regime, role and materials of a spatiality due to the effect of contemporary digital technology and by analyzing their characteristics. Therefore, the study is based on the phenomenology of perception of Morris Merleau Ponty, which has the same concept to contemporary out-of-material and out-of-hierarchical paradigm. The case study has been carried out by selecting some of all works since 1980s, which were influenced by Merleau-Ponty. The analyses were performed by substituting the cases into the spatiality of Situation, spatiality of participation and creation, spatiality of retrospect and prospect, and the spatiality of unpredictability, which were the concept of phenomenological space of Merleau-Ponty for the analyses of features of type, regime, role and material of a spatial design. This article has a great significance in expecting the possibilities of changes of phenomenological spatial design by examining the characteristics of phenomenological spatial design.
