Instantaneous AGN feedback at the central part of NGC 5728

  • Using VLT/MUSE and ALMA data, we present a spatially-resolved analysis of the central part of NGC 5728. We find enhanced star formation (${\sim}1.8M{\odot}/yr/kpc2$) at a region where AGN gas outflows intersect the star formation ring. In contrast, significantly weaker CO emission (~3.5 times) is found at the same region compared to other regions in ring, suggesting positive AGN feedback on star formation. On the other hand, we detect gas outflows outside of the spiral arms, implying that the inflowing gas in the arms is removed (i.e., negative feedback). Even though the positive and negative feedback are expected at the central part of NGC 5728, the impact of the AGN feedback in galaxy scale may be insignificant.

  • This paper is concerned with the active vibration control experiment on cylindrical shell equipped with Macro Fiber Composite(MFC) actuators. The MFC actuators were glued to the cylindrical shell in circumferential directions. To verify the theoretical result, vibration test using impact hammer and accelerometer was carried out. It was found from experiments that theoretical result predicts experimental result to some extent. The positive position feedback controllers were designed and applied to the test article. It was observed that the resonant amplitude of the fundamental mode was reduced by 20dB thus achieving active vibration control. The active vibration control of the response subject to non resonant excitation has been of interest. We developed the combination of the positive position feedback controller which can cope with the fundamental mode and the positive position feedback controller which can counteract the external disturbance with non resonant frequency. It was found from experiments that the hybrid controller can suppress the vibration amplitude successfully.

Positive Feedback을 이용한 무효전력 P&O 단독운전 검출기법 (Reactive Power P&O Islanding Detection Method using Positive Feedback)

  • A grid-connected inverter with critical loads uses mode transfer control to supply stable voltage to the load. An islanding detection method should also be used to quickly detect the grid fault and disconnect the inverter from the grid. However using the existing islanding detection method to detect islanding is difficult due to the small fluctuation of the voltage and frequency of the point of common coupling. This study proposes a reactive power P&O islanding detection method by using the positive feedback technique. The proposed method always injects a small variation of reactive power. When a grid fault occurs, the injected reactive power accelerates the reactive power injection reference. As a result, the reactive power reference value and the sensed reactive power become mismatched, and islanding is detected. Reducing the amount of real-time injected reactive power results in high efficiency and power factor. The simulation and experimental results of a 3 kW single-phase inverter are provided to verify the proposed islanding detection method.

이동용 영상촬영기기 바디캠을 활용한 팀단위 심폐소생술의 교육피드백 효과 (Training Feedback effect of team-based CPR using a mobile video recording device body camera)

  • 본 연구는 구급현장에서 사용되고 있는 바디캠을 활용하여 교육피드백 효과를 파악하고자 응급구조학과 4학년 32명을 대상으로 팀단위 심폐소생술 시뮬레이션을 진행하여 바디캠 피드백 전후에 대한 인식도, 교육피드백 효과, 만족도, 바디캠 기기활용 선호도 및 애로사항을 파악하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 27.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, 빈도분석, paried t-test, Wilcoxon signed rank test를 수행하였다. 연구결과 바디캠 사용에 대한 인식은 3.73±0.62점에서 4.45±0.54점으로 긍정적인 인식변화를 보였으며, 3.98±0.51의 긍정적인 만족도는 나타냈다(p<.001). 또한 바디캠 피드백 후 자가점검 정확도와 수행능력점수에서 유의한 상승효과를 나타냈다(p<.001). 따라서 팀단위 시뮬레이션 소생술 훈련 시 강사의 직접적인 피드백 없이도 바디캠 영상시청을 통한 자가피드백을 수행하여 자가점검능력 향상 및 수행능력향상의 긍정적인 교육피드백 효과를 발휘할 수 있다.

유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 능동진동제어기의 실시간 조정 (Real-Time Tuning of the Active Vibration Controller by the Genetic Algorithm)

  • 이 논문은 지능구조물의 실시간 적응진동제어를 위해 유전자 알고리즘을 이용하여 Positive Position Feedback(PPF) 제어기를 조정하는 것과 관련이 있다. 유전자 알고리즘은 최적변수를 찾는데 있어 국소 최소점이 아닌 전체적인 최적점을 찾을 수 있는 능력이 있다. PPF 제어기는 다른 진동모드에 영향을 주지 않으면서 특정 진동모드의 감쇠를 증가시킬 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있는 반면에 효과적인 진동제어를 위해서는 제어하고 자하는 진동모드의 고유진동수를 정확히 알아야하는 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 유전자 알고리즘을 이용하여 실시간으로 PPF 제어기가 필요로 하는 변수값을 추적할 수 있는 알고리즘을 개발하여 그 타당성을 실험으로 증명하였다. 실험결과는 PPF 제어기의 실시간 조정이 성공적으로 이루어져 진동제어가 효과적으로 이루어졌음을 보여주고 있다.

양실 시스템의 시간영역에서의 특성 (Properties of positive real systems in time domain)

  • This paper provides some properties of positive real systems in time domain. It is well-known that a positive real system and a bounded real system are closely related by bilinear transform in a frequency domain. By using supply rate and storage function, we show that a positive real system can be transformed into a bounded real system, and that a positive real system can be transformed into another positive real system with in a time domain. Also, we show that an ESPR(extended strictly positive real) system can be decomposed into a feedback system of lossless positive real system and another ESPR system. These results may be used to design an output feedback controller for mixed H$H_2$ESPR problem.

AN OPTIMIZATION APPROACH FOR COMPUTING A SPARSE MONO-CYCLIC POSITIVE REPRESENTATION

  • The phase-type representation is strongly connected with the positive realization in positive system. We attempt to transform phase-type representation into sparse mono-cyclic positive representation with as low order as possible. Because equivalent positive representations of a given phase-type distribution are non-unique, it is important to find a simple sparse positive representation with lower order that leads to more effective use in applications. A Hypo-Feedback-Coxian Block (HFCB) representation is a good candidate for a simple sparse representation. Our objective is to find an HFCB representation with possibly lower order, including all the eigenvalues of the original generator. We introduce an efficient nonlinear optimization method for computing an HFCB representation from a given phase-type representation. We discuss numerical problems encountered when finding efficiently a stable solution of the nonlinear constrained optimization problem. Numerical simulations are performed to show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

뉴로피드백 훈련이 후천적 요인의 자기조절력과 키 성장에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Neuro-feedback Training on Self-regulation of Acquired Factors and Height Growth)

  • 본 연구는 뉴로피드백 훈련을 적용하여 생활습관을 조절하는 자기조절력과 키 성장간의 상관성을 규명함으로 써 키 성장의 효과적인 중재 방안에 대한 해법을 제시하고자 실시하였다. 이를 위해 키 성장 프로그램을 실시하고 있는 초등학교 2학년~4학년 학생 40명(실험군 20명, 대조군 20명) 대상으로 뉴로피드백 훈련 전 후의 변화를 확인하였다. 실험기간은 3개월간(주 2회), 훈련시간은 1회 30분이였다. 뉴로피드백 훈련을 적용한 실험군과 대조군의 자기조절력 차이를 분석한 후, 키 성장 차이를 비교 분석하였다. 첫째, 뉴로피드백 훈련을 적용한 실험군이 대조군에 비해 자기조절력에 유의미한 변화가 있었다. 둘째, 뉴로피드백 훈련을 적용한 실험군이 대조군에 비해 더 크게 키 성장의 변화가 있었다. 이상의 결과를 종합하면 뉴로피드백 훈련이 성장기 학생들에게 있어 키 성장의 후천적 요인들 중 생활습관을 조절하는 자기조절력에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 그로 인해 키 성장에도 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것이 확인되었다.

Positive Real Control for Uncertain 2-D Singular Roesser Models

  • This paper discusses the problem of positive real control for uncertain 2-D linear discrete time singular Roesser models (2-D SRM) with time-invariant norm-bounded parameter uncertainty. The purpose of this study is to design a state feedback controller such that the resulting closed-loop system is acceptable, jump modes free and stable, and achieves the extended strictly positive realness for all admissible uncertainties. A version of positive real lemma for the 2-D SRM is given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Based on the lemma, a sufficient condition for the solvability of the positive real control problem is derived in terms of bilinear matrix inequalities (BMIs) and an iterative procedure for solving the BMIs is proposed.

LC공진 회로와 PPF제어기를 이용한 자체 측정식 자기 서스펜션 시스템 (Self-Sensing Magnetic Suspension System using an LC Resonant Circuit with a Positive Position Feedback Controller)

  • A self-sensing magnetic suspension system utilizing a LC resonant circuit is proposed by using the characteristic that the inductance of the magnetic system is varied with respect to the air gap displacement. An external capacitor is added into the electric system to make the levitation system be statically stable system, which much relieves the control effort required to stabilize the magnetic suspension system of haying an intrinsic unstable nature. For the realization of the self- sensing magnetically levitated system, an amplitude modulation / demodulation method is used with a positive position feedback controller Experimental results are presented to validate the proposed method.
