Korean navy is developing an information system-based a computer - network for efficient business process and information exchange and management efficiency expansions. Naval welfare portal was developed to the part, and newly development at present to solve a problem. But inconvenient point in the army, most people do not has personal Internet PC. At this paper, we explain case study of naval welfare portal, and propose development strategy that consider of security issue.

Purpose : To evaluate the usefulness of electronic portal imaging device through objective compare of the images acquired using an EPID and a conventional port film Materials and Methods : From Apr. to Oct. 1997, a total of 150 sets of images from 20 patients who received radiation therapy in the pelvis area were evaluated in the Inha University Hospital and Severance Hospital. A dual image recording technique was devised to obtain both electronic portal images and port film images simultaneously with one treatment course. We did not perform double exposure five to ten images were acquired from each patient. All images were acquired from posteroanterior (PA) view except images from two patients. A dose rate of 100-300 Mu/min and a 10-MV X-ray beam were used and 2-10 MUs were required to produce a verification image during treatment. Kodak diagnostic film with metal/film imaging cassette which was located on the top of the EPID detector was used for the port film. The source to detector distance was 140 cm. Eight anatomical landmarks (pelvic brim, sacrum, acetabulum. iliopectineal line, symphysis, ischium, obturator foramen, sacroiliac joint) were assessed. Four radiation oncologist joined to evaluate each image. The individual landmarks in the port film or in the EPID were rated - very clear (1), clear (2), visible (3), not clear (4), not visible (5). Results : Using an video camera based EPID system. there was no difference of image quality between no enhanced EPID images and port film images. However, when we provided some change with window level for the portal image, the visibility of the sacrum and obturator foramen was improved in the portal images than in the port film images. All anatomical landmarks were more visible in the portal images than in the port film when we applied the CLAHE mode enhancement. The images acquired using an matrix ion chamber type EPID were also improved image qualify after window level adjustment. Conclusion : The quality of image acquired using an electronic portal imaging device was comparable to that of the port film. When we used the enhance mode or window level adjustment. the image quality of the EPID was superior to that of the port film. EPID may replace the port film.

With the rapid growth of smart phone technologies, mobile user's demands for using services provided by existing web or portal cites are highly increased. These services, however, are designed for the environment of desktop PCs or laptops in general, so it requires lots of costs for corrections and has difficulties for system protection to use in current mobile devices. In this paper, we design and implement a middleware for android-based smart phone apps to cooperate with a portal system with minimum corrections and function configuration. Our middleware system is working as an interface between an existing portal system and mobile devices to provide harmonious usage and safe system protection.

In these days, the practical training education is getting highlighted in IT curriculum. This study is for the Cloud computing based Virtual Desktop Service Plan of IT education and its efficient operation and management plan. With the implementation of a virtual lab environment system, the training environment which is customized by the curriculum is able to be provided. Also in the case of the limited system, the curriculum is able to be provided for each subject in advance. Therefore if the Cloud Training (or Practicing) Portal system for the multiple cyber universities is implemented according to this study's estimated scale and operation managing policies, the virtual training education service system could be provided in more efficient and more effective ways.

In these days everyone search the information easily with the Internet as the rapid distribution and active usage of the Internet. The search engines were developed specially to accuracy of information retrieval. User search the information more quickly and variously with them. The search portal system will be embossed with representation and basic services. The Internet user needs the result of text, image and video, knowledge search. The keyword based search is used generally for getting result of the information retrieval and another method is category based search. This paper investigates the classification of knowledge search structure for oriental medicine in market leader of search portal system by ranking web site. As a result, each classification system is unified and there is a possibility of getting up a many confusion to the user who approaches with classification systematic search method. This treatise proposed the improved oriental medicine classification system of internet information retrieval in knowledge search area. if the service provider amends about the classification system, there will be able to guarantee the compatibility of data. Also the proper access path of the knowledge which seeks is secured to user.

This theory focuses on the Enterprise Portal and researches and analyzes the user requirement on as-is system. The UI Checklist Matrix is made based on the result of user analysis and evaluation of checklist. The horizontal axis of the Matrix is composed of 6 results(Layout, Navigation, Information, Function, Visibility and Interaction) of user requirement analysis. The vertical axis of the Matrix is composed of 10 subjects, Learnability, Efficiency, Accuracy, Accessibility, Consistency, Agility, Convergence, Personalization, Technology, and Standardization. At the point of vertical and horizontal items meet, indicates the graded of importance and defines a details item. The Guideline in which Matrix is reflected is set and according to the guideline, designing the business screen and assessing the Matrix.

By far, numerous e-government projects requiring huge investments have been conducted in Korea to increase the administrative efficiency and improve the service quality via Internet. However, there's little research focusing on methods and techniques for analyzing and evaluating the projects either to economically justify the investments or to assess the quality of the system and of on-line services to citizens. The purpose of this paper is to suggest a set of factors to take into account for evaluating e-government portals and to empirically test the factors to provide useful implications for building such portals. Based on the literature reviewed, we constructed a research model that includes content, public service, community, design, technology, and portal's attributes as independent variables and the user's satisfaction and the administrative efficiency as dependent variables. A reliability test revealed that the evaluation factors proposed in the paper are sufficiently reliable, and a multi-regression analysis indicated that five hypotheses should be accepted. The findings of the study suggest that emphasis should be placed on public service quality and portal site attributes, among others, when implementing portals.

Trade portal site is one of the tools which makes it possible for small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) to manage international trade activities more efficiently by using the newest information and telecommunication technology. So Korean SMEs should utilize trade portal sites more actively to promote global competitive power. Based on the theory of service quality and an existing research related to using information technology. this research analyzed the primary factors which affect user's utilization satisfaction in using trade portal sites. According to the results of the empirical study on actual users of the representative trade portal sites by using multiple regression analysis, The primary factors, such as service quality, government policy and cost have affected user's utilization satisfaction in using trade portal site. and user's utilization satisfaction have positive effect on continuous using intention. These research results will provide many useful insights to the managers of trade portal sites, e-trade system developers and government policy makers.

In order to improve organizational performance, organizations should make a knowledge management system to share, distribute, and create related knowledge effectively in the operational process. It is not too much to say that organizational performance depends on the level of network and networking for the use of knowledge among the agents. Theoretically, a web portal is known as a useful instrument not only to link among the actors who have a specific interest and purpose but also to promote social networking which creates new knowledge relevant to user's environment. In the context, this article explored policy implications of building and operating government portals by analysing the efficacy of the "Innovative Portal", which the Korean government had opened to diffuse its innovation activities and to improve organizational innovation capacities in 2005, in innovation process from the knowledge management perspective. In particular, this study tried to identify how did the "Innovation Portal"influence network and networking of innovation knowledge using hyperlink network analysis method.

KISTI-ACOMS ver. 2.0 has been distributed to more than 340 academic societies and used by more than 130 academic societies for 4 years since 2005 and still is desired for use by lots of other academic societies. But contrary to the desire and requests for system upgrades of academic societies, ACOMS has not been improved for last 3 years and some academic societies began to use domestic or foreign similar pay online peer review systems. In this paper, a new integrated portal service system is suggested in order to attempt national production cost-saving and quality improvement of academic information by creating and collecting high quality scientific and technologic academic information inexpensively. We come up with methodology of integration and utilization of a personal academic activity portal system interoperable with other services of KISTI, an open citation reference database automatically constructed by authors' activity and a journal evaluation system based on impact factor.
