  • 본 논문에서 소개할 온라인 앨범 사이트는 텍스트 기반의 이미지 검색과 색상 기반 검색이 가능한 검색 엔진을 갖추었다. 기존의 검색 엔진들은 매우 단순한 키워드 매칭만을 통하여 이미지를 검색하여 그 결과 이미지와 사용자가 찾고자 하는 이미지 사이의 유사성이 낮은 경우가 많았다. SUMMIT(Sejong University MultiMedia Information Technology)은 등록된 각 사용자에게 개별 공간을 할당하여 사용자가 스스로 원하는 이미지를 업로드하거나 다운로드하게 한다. 또한, 각 사용자는 자신이 구성한 앨범 내에서의 키워드 검색과 내용기반 검색을 수행할 수 있으며 다른 사용자가 공개한 이미지나 시스템 데이터베이스에 저장된 이미지까지 포함한 포괄적인 검색 결과도 획득할 수 있다. 본 시스템은 각 사용자별 페이지 내에서의 검색이 가능하므로 검색의 정확도와 활용도를 높일 수 있다. 사용자는 SUMMIT에 올린 이미지나 타인이 공개한 이미지를 자신 혹은 기타 홈페이지에 직접 하이퍼링크할 수 있으며 어느 페이지에서도 같은 이미지 링크 태그를 사용할 수 있다는 용이함도 취할 수 있다.

  • 이 Paper는 Server 솔루션에서 사용되는 RAID 컨트롤러가 Disk 상의 에러(Error)를 처리하는 behavior를 분석하고 이를 개선할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. RAID Level 중에 가장 기본인 RAID 0는 주로 Internet portal site의 Search Engines 이나 Media streaming Servers, 그리고 HD 영상 편집 시스템에서 사용된다. 그러나 Fault tolerance가 지원되지 않기 때문에 Data Volume(logical Disk)의 보존성이 약한 취약점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 이것을 개선하고 Data 보존성을 높일 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

  • With the increase use of smartphones, users can consume contents such as webtoon, webnovel and TV drama directly provided by the producers. In this Direct-to-Consumer era, webdrama services from the portal websites are increasing rapidly. Webdramas such as , , and can be analyzed in real time using responses such as unique users, likes, and comments. The analyses used in this research were Social Media Big Data Mining Method and Opinion Mining Method. Specific key words from webdrama can be extracted and viewers positive, neutral or negative emotion can be predicted from the words. The analyses of popular webdramas showed that the established K-Pop Idol member appearance and servicing portal site greatly influence the views, traffics, comments, and likes. Also, 'Mobile TV' proved the effectiveness as another platform other than television. Mobile targeted contents and robust business models still to be developed and identified. Overcoming these few tasks, Korea will be proven to be a webdrama content powerhouse.

A Study of Direct and Contingency Factors Affecting Customer Switching Intension of E-mail Services in Portal Sites (포털사이트에서 이메일 서비스의 전환의도에 영향를 미치는 직접적 요인과 상황적 요인에 관한 연구)

  • Recently Internet portals contend with each other to expand their customer base by providing customers with a much amount of e-mail storage. But This strategy may not be successful because of customers' switching cost following site moving. Therefore, in order to reveal whether their strategy makes sense, this study investigates the direct and contingency factors affecting customer switching intension of e-mail services in portal sites. The research results show that attractiveness of alternatives, switching cost, and customer satisfaction have a significantly direct impact on customer switching intension of e-mail services. Also, attractiveness of alternatives alone has an moderated effect on customer switching intension but switching cost does not. Thus, Internet portals may reap the harvest from their recent aggressive action.

  • 현재 서울시 내에는 수많은 공공조형예술품들이 있다. 하지만 시민들은 그것들이 어디에 위치하고 있는지 쉽게 파악 할 수 없는 실정이며, 그에 따라 공공조형예술품들을 즐길 기회 또한 잃고 있다. 그래서 Web2.0 및 Mash-Up을 활용한 Web Portal Site를 구축하여 그것들에 대한 위치정보를 제공해 줄 뿐만 아니라, 시인들의 의견을 수렴하여 관리 및 유지보수 측면 등의 의사결정에 직접적으로 참여할 수 있는 Web 공간을 구축하였다. 기본적으로 서울시에서 파악하고 있는 공공조형예술품들에 대한 DB를 제공하고 또한 사용자가 정보를 입력하는 인터페이스를 통하여 기존 DB에 없는 정보를 추가함으로써 관리자 및 사용자가 쌍방향으로 DB를 구축하게 된다. DB를 바탕으로 Naver Map 및 Google Map 을 활용한 공공조형예술품들의 위치를 나타내는 지도를 제공한다. 그리고 입력된 DB를 바탕으로 예술품들의 행정구역별 수량 및 각 예술품 종류별 수량 등의 통계적 자료를 추출하여 제시하고, 사용자는 입력되어 있는 예술품들에 대한 평가 및 관리 보수 등의 의견을 제시하여 서울시 내의 공공조형예술품에 관한 의사결정에 의견을 제시할 수 있다. 본 연구물의 결과로 기대 할 수 있는 효과는 도시 재생 및 도시 계획 재정립에 있어 사용자 참여 유도 및 참고적 역할을 할 수 있고, 도시 내 조형예술품들에 대한 정보 제공의 기점 역할을 하여, 관광객 유치 및 도시 문화사업의 도움이 될 수 있다.

A Study on the Trend and Meaning of Searching for Herbal Medicines in Online Portal Using Naver DataLab Search Trend Service (네이버 데이터랩 검색어 트렌드 서비스를 이용한 온라인 포털에서의 한약재 검색 트렌드와 의미에 대한 고찰)

  • Objectives : From January 2020, when the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in Korea, the use of health information using the Internet is expected to increase. It is expected that there will be a significant change in the general public's interest in Korean herbal medicines for health care. Therefore, in this study, we tried to confirm the change in the search trend of Korean herbal medicines after the COVID-19 epidemic. Methods : Using the "Naver DataLab (http://datalab.naver.com)" service of a Korean portal site Naver, search volume was investigated with 606 Korean herbal medicines as keywords. The search period was from January 2020, right after the onset of COVID-19, to June 2021. The search results were sorted by the peak search volume and the total search volume. Results : 'Cheonsangap (천산갑, 穿山甲, Manitis Squama)' was the most searched Korean herbal medicine in the peak search volume and total search volume with least bias. Conclusions : The problem of supply and demand of Korean herbal medicines of high public interest was identified. Broadcasting and media exposure were the factors that had a big impact on the search volume for Korean herbal medicines. As it was confirmed that the search volume for Korean herbal medicines increased rapidly due to media exposure, it is necessary to provide correct information about Korean herbal medicines, improve public awareness, and manage stable supply and demand based on continuous search trend monitoring.

Confidence Indicators and Evaluation Factors of Credibility According to the Types of Online Information (온라인 정보원의 유형별 신뢰지수 및 신뢰성 평가요인)

  • This study tried to develop the confidence indicators and evaluation factors of credibility according to the types of online information by nationwide large scale online survey. The main results are summarized as follows: i) confidence indicators by types of online information: information on news sites(72.553), financial companies(68.894), government sites(67.938), cafe(66.464), portal sites(65.001), collective intelligence sites(63.489), nonprofit organization (63.392), company/corporation sites(59.789), blog(59.066), online community sites(55.609), e-commerce sites(55.118), mini-homepage(50.695). ii) 'Widely known site' or 'famous site' is the most important factor for all types of online information. User opinions like as posting or comment are major factors for sites of cafe, blog, mini-homepage, online community, collective intelligence etc. and 'name recognition' and 'reputation' are main factors for site of financial company, corporation, government, nonprofit organization.

  • Scholarly information service is compared with internet portal services for object of use, information attributes and target users. It is not popular service, so scholarly information service providers need to have distinguished marketing strategy. KISTI service development team has performed on-site training for end users in major customer institutions in 2008. This study shows the effect of scholarly information service on-site training and user's preference of service promotion in specialized information service field.

A Study on Comparison and Classification of Response Time of Mobile Portals (모바일 포털들의 응답시간 비교 및 분류에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the response time of three mobile portal sites in Korea using distributions. The research subjects are the mobile portal site of Naver, Daum, and Nate. The experiment period is six years from April 18, 2012 when mobile portals started to activate, to April 17, 2018. The number of experiments is 4,060. Histograms and percentages were used for the distribution comparisons. For the theoretical comparison, Chi-Square test is adopted as a parametric method, and Kolmogorov-Smirnov test is as a nonparametric method. Naver was the fastest of all four methods, the next was Nate, the next was the slowest. The same result was obtained in terms of average response speed. These results are in contradiction to the results of the wired portal. Naver is a strategy to increase the response speed in accordance with the characteristics of media. Daum is a strategy to increase the contents at the cost of response speed. As for classification, we divide the response time into "Comfortable", "Tolerable", "Feedback", "Leave" according to response time. The ratio of more than 7 seconds that users leave called as "Leave" is 1.18% for Naver, 11.70% for Daum, and 1.5% for Nate. As Daum is overwhelmingly high, the response time is very much in need of improvement. In addition, we show the response time of three mobile portals needs to be reduced We hope that the results of this paper will facilitate technology competition to increase the response speed of mobile portals.
