A Study on the Concept and Implementation of Digital Library : A Case of Ajou Research Information Service System

전자도서관의 개념 및 구축 사례 - 아주대학교 학술정보센터 운영 개념을 중심으로 -

In this paper, the concept of digital library is presented on the basis of library's trend and advent of digital library. And this paper introduces Ajou University's academic in-formation service system as a epitome of digital library from the viewpoint of "user centered information service".

본고에서는 도서관의 변천과 전자도서관의 출현, 개념 정의 등을 통하여 전자도서관을 구현하는데 필요한 개념을 제시하였다. 아울러 전자도서관을 구현한 실질적인 사례로서 현재 아주대학교에서 서비스하고 있는 학술정보 종합서비스 시스템의 개발 개념과 서비스 내용에 대하여 이용자중심의 서비스 구현이라는 관점에서 서술하였다.
