해상교통안전진단 대상 여객선 및 위험화물운반선 범위에 관한 고찰 (A Study on the Scope of Passenger Vessels and Dangerous Goods Carriers Subject to Maritime Traffic Safety Audits)

  • 해상교통안전진단제도는 선박통항에 영향을 미치는 수역이나 시설의 변경 시 선박통항 안전성 여부를 사전에 평가하고자 도입되었다. 동 제도의 도입 이후 지난 2014년 대상사업의 범위를 한정하여 길이 100미터 이상 및 최고 속력 60노트 이상인 선박을 대상사업의 기준으로 설정하였다. 본 연구에서는 이렇게 설정된 대상선박 기준을 해사안전법의 교통안전특정해역, 유조선통항금지해역 등의 대상선박 기준과 비교 검토하고, 안전진단 대상선박 현황 및 안전진단 제외사례를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 교통안전특정해역에서 1,000G/T 이상, 유조선통항금지해역에서 794G/T 이상의 위험화물운반선에 대하여 안전진단이 필요한 것으로 나타났고, 여객선 및 위험화물운반선에 대하여 보다 강화된 기준 적용 필요성이 제기되었다. 따라서 결론으로 대상선박 기준 재검토 필요성을 제시하였다.

우리나라의 냉방도일과 냉방일수에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Cooling Degree Days and the Number of Cooling Days in Korea)

  • The cooling degree days and the number of cooling days are used as important research materials not only in the field of design for building and cooling facilities but also in the government's establishment of energy policy. The purposes of this dissertation are to clarify the distribution of the cooling degree days and the number of cooling days by using the daily mean air temperature of 95 weather stations in Korea, and to show the distribution charts of the same cooling degree days and the same number of cooling days in order to help the practical uses of the materials. In cases of the base temperatures $24^{circ}C$, $25^{circ}C$, $26^{circ}C$, and $27^{circ}C$, the cooling degree days and the number of cooling days are shown in Table 5. The distribution charts of the same cooling degree days and the same number of cooling days are shown in Fig. 6 to Fig. 8 and Fig.9 to Fig. 11 respectively. As a result of this dissertation, Jeju Island and southern inland regions(especially Jeonju, Daegu, Gwangju) have a larger value than central regions and northern regions because of the influences of the terrain effect, and western coast regions have usually a larger value than eastern coast regions at the same latitude. The largest value appears in August of the year and the second in July, and the smallest in September. And southern inland area surrounded by Imshil, Goechang, and Boeun has a much smaller value than the other areas of its vicinity.

LS 밴드용 역지향성 능동배열 안테나 설계 (Design of a Retrodirective Active Array Antenna for the LS Band)

  • 본 논문에서는 2 GHz LS 대역에서 동작하는 역지향성 능동배열 안테나가 설계 제작되었다. 역지향성 안테나는 임의의 방향에서 입사하는 전파를 그 방향으로 되돌려 복사시키는 안테나 배열 시스템으로서, 반사파가 입사 반대 방향으로 파면(wave front)을 갖도록 하기 위한 공액 위상변위기가 포함된 능동 안테나 배열로 구성된다. 본 연구에서는 RF/IF 신호포트와 LO 포트로 이루어진 2-포트 게이트 HEMT 혼합기와 1/4파장 모노폴 안테나 배열($1{\times}4$)을 사용하여 역지향성 능동배열 안테나를 구현하였다. 제작된 배열 안테나의 역지향 특성을 실험 측정하고, 이론적 예측치와 비교하여 잘 일치함을 확인하였다. 모노폴 안테나 배열은 구조가 간단하여 제작이 용이한 장점을 가지며, 본 연구결과는 무선 이동통신, 무선 실내 LAN 및 RFID등의 기지국 및 트랜스폰더 장치에 직접 적용 가능하다.

Pattern Recognition of Ship Navigational Data Using Support Vector Machine

  • A ship's sailing route or plan is determined by the master as the decision maker of the vessel, and depends on the characteristics of the navigational environment and the conditions of the ship. The trajectory, which appears as a result of the ship's navigation, is monitored and stored by a Vessel Traffic Service center, and is used for an analysis of the ship's navigational pattern and risk assessment within a particular area. However, such an analysis is performed in the same manner, despite the different navigational environments between coastal areas and the harbor limits. The navigational environment within the harbor limits changes rapidly owing to construction of the port facilities, dredging operations, and so on. In this study, a support vector machine was used for processing and modeling the trajectory data. A K-fold cross-validation and a grid search were used for selecting the optimal parameters. A complicated traffic route similar to the circumstances of the harbor limits was constructed for a validation of the model. A group of vessels was composed, each vessel of which was given various speed and course changes along a specified route. As a result of the machine learning, the optimal route and voyage data model were obtained. Finally, the model was presented to Vessel Traffic Service operators to detect any anomalous vessel behaviors. Using the proposed data modeling method, we intend to support the decision-making of Vessel Traffic Service operators in terms of navigational patterns and their characteristics.

결합재 및 사용수 변화에 따른 노후저수지 보강용약액주입공법 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Application of Chemical Grouting Method for Aging Reservoir Reinforce According to the Change of Binder and Using Water)

  • Chemical grouting method is mainly used for construction of dams and reservoirs, stabilization and reinforcement of slopes, reinforcement of soft grounds such as embankments, dredging and landfills, the order of earthquake response method, and the reinforcement of structures. Recently, it is widely applied in construction sites such as highways, airfields, high-speed railways, subsea facilities, port construction works, tunnels, and subway works. As such, the demand for grouting continues to increase. The development of the grouting method was focused on increasing the strength of the ground, and the development of the chemical additives, the injection device, and the stirring device were mainly performed. But ordinary portland cement used for grouting is a product that consumes natural resources such as limestone, generates a large amount of greenhouse gases, consumes a large amount of energy sources, and it is time to develop products and new methods to replace them. In this study, Ordinary Portland Cement and New Grouting Binder (circulating fluidized bed boiler fly and blast furnace slag) were compared and analyzed by the following test. Homo-gel strength and homo-gel time, water quality analysis of the water used and soil contamination process tests of homo-gel samples were performed. In the case of NGB, when Using water is used as the reservoir water, the strength measured smaller than that of the other water. However, it shows about 2.5 times greater than the homo-gel compressive strength applied to OPC (7-day, reservoir water), so there is no problem with water quality when applied.

  • 인천지역은 1960년대 경제개발계획과 함께 중공업위주의 임해공업단지와 항만시설, 해안매립에 의한 공업용지가 조성되었고, 이러한 산업단지는 준설한 실트질 모래로 매립되어 저투수성 지질특성을 가지고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 인천의 지질특성에 적합한 토양오염 정화를 위해 친환경 소재로 개발된 배수재의 필터에 중금속 흡착에 효과적인 제올라이트를 도포하여 중금속흡착능력을 평가하였다. 오염물질은 토양오염 조사 자료와 문헌 조사를 통해 현재 공업 산업단지에서 가장 문제가 되고 있는 구리(Cu), 납(Pb), 카드뮴(Cd)으로 설정하였고, Visual Modflow를 이용한 수치해석을 통해 가장 효율적인 배수재 타설 간격 및 형식을 제시하였다.

MIKE 21 모형을 이용한 목포해역 해일/범람모의 (Numerical Simulations of Storm Surge/Coastal Flooding at Mokpo Coastal Zone by MIKE21 Model)

  • 목포시는 낮은 도시기반시설, 하구언 및 방조제 건설에 따른 해양환경 변화 및 지구온난화에 의한 해수면 상승 등에 기인하여 태풍과 같은 악기상 조건을 수반하지 않더라도 해수범람에 의한 저지대 침수피해가 발생하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 MIKE21 모형을 이용하여 해일/범람 모형을 수립하고, 목포지역에 침수피해를 발생시킨 태풍에 대해 적용하였다. 모의는 최근 10년간 내습한 태풍 중 가장 높은 해일고(59 cm)를 발생시킨 태풍 'RUSA(0215)'가 약최고고조위의 조위상황에 내습할 경우 발생할 수 있는 가상상황에 대해 수행되었다. 이때의 조위는 545cm로 금호방조제 건설이후 목포항 10년 빈도의 고극조위(544 cm)에 해당하는 조위이다. 해일/범람모의 결과, 범람이 발생할 경우 내항부근에서 단시간에 넓은 지역의 피해가 예상되고 있어, 이에 대한 방재대책 마련이 요구된다.

호주산 수출 생축 동물복지에 관한 조사 (Survey on animal welfare problems in Australian exporting live animals)

  • Last year, over 800 Australian live cattle were imported, underwent quarantine procedure for one month in the port of Incheon and Busan and distributed to general farm house holds in Gyeongju city, Gyeongbuk province, and Gimhae city, Namhae county, Gyeongnam province. But Hanwoo association took violent actions to prevent from entering the country for fear that the imported live cattle would destroy the 'Hanwoo industry', and in turn leads to the collapse of the industry. In Australia, national animal protection body 'Animals Australia' investigated the level of cruelty involved in this trade and made a report 'The death file'. Australia governments drive to expand Its market for 'live animal exports' and it has resulted in a corresponding increase In casualties associated with the long-haul overseas trade in live livestock animals over the past years. After the stress of transportation, all the surviving cattle and sheep face death on foreign soil, many into countries which have no animal welfare laws or, at best, inadequate laws. They will usually be killed without pre-stunning and often even without adequate restraint facilities. The result is inherent and persistent suffering. West Australian(WA) Police acting on behalf of the West Australian Government and the Office of the WA State Solicitor have laid animal cruelty charges against a leading WA live export company for breaching the WA Animal Welfare Act. With the aim of eventually substituting it for the live sheep trade, the Senate Select Committee on Animal Welfare (SCCAW) recommended that the Federal Government 'promote and encourage the expansion of the refrigerated sheep meat trade to the Middle East and other countries'. Animal welfare standards have been improved time after time, there is another incident, another public outcry, another inquiry and more assurances.

Shadow mask 여과 모듈을 이용한 슬러지 농축 특성 (Sludge Thickening Performance of the Filtration Bio-reactor Equipped with Shadow Mask Filter Module)

  • In order to recycle the waste material and to develop the thickening unit of waste activated sludge from wastewater treatment facilities, the filtration bio-reactor equipped with a shadow mask filter module was employed for this work from which the operating properties and parameters were drawn. The sludge thickening and filtration unit is made of cylindrical acryl tank(12cm i.d. ${\times}$ 58cm height: working volume of 6L), where the flat-sheet type of shadow mask filter module(pore size: 220~250um, opening area: 34.8~39.6%) was installed and the effluent was withdrawn from the effluent port at the lowest point of the reactor, and the filtration was performed only by the hydraulic pressure. For evaluating the operating performance of this reactor, some parameters such as the solid-liquid separation of different biomass concentrations, the water quality of filtrate, the aeration cleaning time and the cleaning effect were investigated. Depending on the MLSS concentrations, the different time to withdraw 3L of filtrate was required in which the longer filtration time was necessary for the higher MLSS concentrations caused by the thicker formation of cake layer: 40 minutes for 5,000 mg/L, 70 minutes for 10,000 mg/L and 100 minutes for 15,000 mg/L, where the concentrations of SS were 8.9, 6.7 and 6.5 mg/L, respectively. Under the same operating conditions (the intensity of aeration cleaning: 80 L/min, MLSS: 10,000 mg/L), the proper aeration cleaning time was revealed 30 seconds, and the stable formation of cake layer was in the range of 10 to 15 minutes. Therefore, the shadow mask considered as a waste material can be of use as a filter material for the sludge thickening system.

축제만족도가 재방문의사와 추천의사에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Festival Visitor's Satisfaction on Revisit and Word of Mouth Intention)

  • 축제의 양적 팽창에도 불구하고 지역축제에 대한 만족도는 몇몇 축제를 제외하곤 그리 높은 편이 아니다. 이는 지역축제의 본질적 목적에 비해 경제성을 강조한 나머지 지역축제의 개최목적인 지역관광산업의 발전, 지역문화의 보전, 지역주민의 여가기회확대, 지역공동체 의식의 함양, 지역이미지 제고 등을 고려하지 못한 축제들이 우후죽순 생겨나고 지역주민과 관광객의 만족을 높일 수 있는 행사내용과 형식들이 차별화되어 있지 못한 것에 기인한다고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 점을 고려하여 문화체육관광부의 축제평가기준을 토대로 제24회 김포문화예술제에 참여한 관광객과 지역주민에 대한 설문조사를 실시하여 지역축제 만족도 결정요인을 규명하고 이를 통해 지역주민과 관광객간의 재방문의도와 추천의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 향후 김포문화예술제가 성공적인 지역축제가 될 수 있도록 축제마케팅 전략수립에 유용한 시사점을 제공한다.
