According to the globalization of world economy on distribution and sales, logistics and transportation parts are playing an important role. Especially, they have to decide what is the key factor of route choice model and how to choose the right transport route in multimodal transport system. By considering the key factors in rote choice model for freight forwarders between Mongolia and Korea, this paper propose 4 main factors: Cost, Delivery time, Freight and Logistics service with 13 sub factors. The importance of factors is surveyed base on AHP through interview with freight forwarders. In results, the empirical insights about current status of Mongolian forwarders are provided with different factors between transportation modes. Expecially, the Time factor is a role factor to choose transport route for air transportation forwarders.

물동량 증가에 따라 수도권항만인 인천항과 평택 당진항에 대한 관심이 증가함에도 불구하고, 수도권항만에 기항하는 선사들을 대상으로 한 기항지 선택요인에 대한 연구는 미진한 실정이다. 이러한 측면에서 본 연구에서는 선행연구에서 제시된 대형항만 위주의 선사 기항지 선택요인 추출방법에서 벗어나, 수도권항만에 직접 기항하는 선사 및 이해관계자를 대상으로 실증분석을 실시하여 수도권항만 기항지 선택요인을 도출하고, 요인별 항만별 가중치를 도출하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 하였다. 선택요인을 추출하기 위하여 요인분석(Factor Analysis)을 사용하였으며, 4가지 상위요인 및 19개의 하부변수를 획득하였다. 한편, 요인별 항만별 가중치 산출을 위하여 퍼지방법론을 적용하였으며, 분석결과 수도권항을 기항하는 선사들은 항만 하역료, 화물처리하역능력, 시설사용료, 접안능력, 항로 및 안벽수심 순으로 중요하게 고려하는 것으로 나타났다. 평가 요인 전체를 이용하여 인천항과 평택 당진항의 우선순위 산정한 결과 인천항(0.641)이 평택 당진항(0.563)보다 선호됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

Especially, it important to know and study how to choose right transport route and which is the key factor of route choice model in multimodal transport system. Thus this study aims to consider 4 main factors: cost, delivery time, freight, and logistics service factors additionally dividing into 13 sub factors and object is forwarders between Mongolia and Korean freight transport. The survey is based on AHP through interview with company officials. The paper provides empirical insights about current status of Mongolian forwarders and difference of the important factors between transportation modes. Result shows that time factor is role factor to choose transport route and then cost factors. Additionally, this study shows 2 different route choose factors between air transport and shipping transport forwarders.

This study was conducted to assess the level of satisfaction of undergraduates with the Library and Information Science (LIS) course and some of the factors that influence their choice of the programme. The population of the study was all the 400 level undergraduates in the Department of Library and Information Science, Faculty of Education, University of Port Harcourt. A structured questionnaire, made up of three parts, was utilized for data collection. The first part involved the level of satisfaction of the respondents with the LIS programme while the second and third parts involved the influence of parents and peers on the respondents' choice of LIS programme, respectively. Out of the 21 copies of the questionnaire distributed, 20 were retrieved indicating a 95.2% response rate with 75% (15) male and 25% (5) female. Data were analyzed using percentages and simple regression analysis. Results indicated that the respondents were highly satisfied with the choice of LIS programme and would recommend the programme to others. Parental influence on the respondents' choice of LIS programme was minimal accounting for 7.8% of the changes in the choice of the programme while peer influence on the respondents' choice of the programme was substantial accounting for 78.0% of the changes in the choice of the programme. The fact that the respondents were satisfied with their choice of career in LIS is a strong indication that they would be committed to providing excellent service in librarianship needed to cater for the mutated information requirements of the society.

In order to attract more transshipment cargoes, Busan Port Authority (BPA) has, since 2003, adopted the volume incentive policy by which more than US$ 10 million annually have been paid back to shipping lines that were called at the port. However, having been a transshipment port for the Northeast region of China, the port of Busan has come under threat from bold Chinese port development projects, notably Shanghai, as northern Chinese regionnl ports place more emphasis on building facilities capable of handling growing trade volumes. Undoubtedly this would lead to a decline in transshipment container traffic moved via Busan. The purpose of this paper is to identify some core factors that have been affecting the increase of transshipment cargoes of Busan and further to recommend BPA an improved incentive scheme with which more T/S cargoes can be attracted into the port of Busan To clarity the reason why T/S cargoes have increased in the port of Busan, several steps are made as follows: The first step is to make a quantitative model for explaining the development of T/S cargoes during the last decade. The second step is to define the dependent and the independent variables for multiple regressions after testing variable significance. For this, data collection and the accuracy of validation have been done by the direct interview with the experienced staffs in shipping companies of both domestic and foreign country. After validating the model with collected data, the final step is to find variables which are explaining the model mostly. In conclusion, 2 variables were clearly identified as core factors that explain well the development of T/S cargoes in the port of Busan: 'Mohring effect' and total cost. It is strongly recommended, by an empirical study, that an incentive scheme be changed to a way which more feeder vessels rather than mother vessels can reduce their direct costs to call in the port of Busan.

항공 및 해상교통수단의 발전과 소득 및 여가시간의 증대로 해외로 출국하는 여행객의 수는 매년 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 하지만 충청남도는 한국에서 유일하게 공항이 없는 지역으로 충남도민들은 해외 여행 시 인천 등 타 지역을 통해 여행을 하여야 하는 불편함을 겪고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 충남도민들의 접근교통에 따른 운송수단 선택행동에 관하여 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 Stated-preference(SP) data를 활용하여 Multinominal Logit Model(MNL)을 이용하였다. 충남도민들이 해외여행 시 운송수단 선택의 경우 거주지에 따라 다른 특성을 보이는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 거주지-공항/항만까지 접근성이 공항/항만-목적지까지 운송보다 교통수단 선택행동에 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석됐다. 특히 접근소요시간 및 접근교통 운영 빈도요인이 가장 큰 영향을 미치고 있는 반면 운송시간이 상대적으로 적은 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 운송수단의 선택은 여객터미널 선정에도 영향을 미치는 것으로 여객터미널 운영사는 접근성을 중요하게 고려하여야 한다. 접근교통수단의 개선은 인천공항을 이용하여 중국으로 출국하는 이용객 중 일부 여객 수요가 전환될 수 있다는 결론이 도출되었다.

Relative importance of maritime transport that takes charge of main current of freight in country' economy is very large. Especially, port and facility carry out important role which treats freight of import and export smoothly and improves international trade as turning point, to achieve key role on connection and association between sea and land. For such reason, enlargement of port facilities or development of port needs to grasp exactly the utilization of port, attributes and selective factors of shipper. On the other hand, the amounts of physical distribution on Mokpo port located in Korean west coast are increasing, with fast economic growth of East Asian including China. This study uses discrete choice model that is measuring to analyze attribute and characteristic of Mokpo port, and analyzes port selection by decision factors of shipper. This paper composed a questionnaire using the result of preceding research, to decide port selection factor among competitive ports. Through factor analysis on a basis of the questionnaire' result, five principal components were extracted. These are resorted out by Logit model, to grasp competitive elements of port. This research fin present direction which raises competitive power of ports in west coast of Korea, especially on alternative and concentration of middle-class port as Mokpo may be useful.

Recently, port development has been actively in progress through a private investment project. Incheon North Port functions as an auxiliary port for Incheon Port to solve its chronic demurral and freight congestion and to treat materials such as wood, iron material, feed materials. Service charges is one of important factors in the port choice to treat general goods. In general, service charges can be calculated by two methods such as cost accounting method and market price method. This study will review the characteristics of the Incheon North Port (berth 3), which is under the progress of the private investment project and estimate the reasonable service charges for general goods on the basis of market price. This will help a concessionaire to maximize the operation efficiency.

1995년 이후 한국기업의 유럽진출이 활발히 이루어졌으며, 특히 폴란드, 체코, 슬로바키아, 헝가리 등의 동유럽지역 진출은 두드러진다. 2011년 한-EU FTA 체결로 두 지역 간 경제적 관계는 더욱 밀접해졌다. 이러한 측면에서 항만을 가지고 있는 전통 유럽국가와 동유럽을 효율적으로 연결하기 위한 인터모달운송 선택에 관한 연구가 요청되고 있다. 하지만 유럽지역 수송수단 선택에 관한 연구는 아직 초보단계에 머무르고 있다. 본 연구는 현재 유럽지역의 인터모달운송의 현황을 파악하고, 열차와 트럭, 피더와 트럭 등의 인터모달운송선택의 핵심요인을 파악하며, 한국에서 유럽과 거래하는 수출기업 및 포워더 측면에서 고려할 때 주요하게 판단하는 요소의 가중치를 평가하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. In-depth interview는 2013년 4월에서 5월 사이 20년에서 30년 이상의 경력을 지닌 물류관련기업 사장단을 통하여 이루어졌다. 연구방법론으로 퍼지이론이 사용되었으며, 연구결과 도착의 신뢰도, 환적시간, 운임이 인터모달운송 선택시 가장 중요한 요인으로 선정되었다.

Recently, in the shipping companies have been employing prudently in order to prevent from sea accidents occurred by human factors. Also the students of merchant marine universities are choosing prudently the shipping companies when taking a job. But many qualitative and quantitative factors are considered in decision making for the employment and the choice of a company. FSM(Fuzzy Structural Modeling) has been widely used in modeling the system composed of such qualitative and quantitative factor. In this paper, a case study is discussed for the analysis of the consciousness of the employment of shining companies and students' choice of such company in maritime university using FSM. Also this paper proposed the planes for educating and recruitment guiding the student in maritime university.
