재일한국인 인구의 Potentiality와 출산력에 관한 고찰 (ANALYSIS ON POTENTIALITY AND ERTILITY OF THE KOREAN POPULATION IN JAPAN)

  • The main purpose of this study is to examine the recent level of fertility and potentiality of the Korean population in Japan and to investigate some forces which influence the fertility of them using survey data. Some estimates of the level of fertility for the Korean population in Japan in 1974 are presented in Table 1. Comparing the some estimates for 1974 with those for 1969, the level of fertility in 1974 was realistically declined. It also indicated that potentiality of Koreans in Japan showed decreasing population. For investigating some factors affecting fertility, total births is selected which regressed on some variables believed in general to be influential in determiaing fertility. It was used a step-wise multiple regression to determine the independent as well as the combined effects of each of the variables. The SPSS computer program was used to perform the anlysis. Result from this data reveals that wife's family size preference as relevant predictor does influence the fertility of Koreans in Japan at this point considering that the age group of 20-29 is very much related. By employing multiple classification analysis, the analysis is concluded by nothing that the wi 3 family size preference has an even stronger relationship with economic factors than any other facto 3.

우리나라 성인의 체중상태에 따른 식생활 특성 - 2001 국민건강.영양조사 결과에 근거하여 - (Dietary Intake Pattern of the Korean Adult Population by Weight Status - 2001 National Health and Nutrition Survey -)

  • To explore the relationship between weight status and food intake pattern, the Nutrition Survey results of the 2001 National Health and Nutrition Survey were analyzed. Dietary intake data of Korean adults aged 20 to 64. years who participated in the 2001 National Health and Nutrition Survey, was used along with their demographic data. Subjects were classified into 4 groups based on the BMI value of subjects: underweight, normal, overweight and obese. For male adults, obese subjects had significantly higher mean intake of energy, protein, carbohydrates, and fat than normal subjects. In addition, obese male adults consumed more animal foods, especially more meats, than normal subjects. However, females obese subjects did not show higher intake of energy or fat. Although obese male adults showed higher energy intake, calcium and iron intake per 1000 kcal was lower than normal adults. Average calcium intake in females was low; about 70% of RDA regardless of obesity level. In addition, riboflavin and Vitamin A intake was lower in overweight and obese female than in normal females. Percentage of subjects with low fruit and vegetable intake (< 400 g per day) was also high in female subjects. These results showed that food and nutrient intake patterns of obese population were different between male and female adults. These dietary intake patterns need to be considered in developing and implementing nutrition policy and intervention programs to prevent and control obesity. Moreover, the National Survey and monitoring system should be developed for continuous and effective investigation on the relationship between obesity and dietary intake.

순환표본의 결합을 위한 가중치 산출에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Construction of Weights for Combined Rolling Samples)

  • 순환표본조사를 시행할 경우 매 순환주기별로 적절한 통계적 신뢰도를 가진 전체 모집단 특성이 추정될 수 있는 반면에, 작은 표본크기로 인하여 통계적 신뢰도가 높은 소지역 추정량의 산출은 어렵다. 따라서 소지역 추정량은 일반적으로 일정 주기 후 혹은 전체조사가 마무리된 후 독립적인 순환표본들을 결합하여 얻어진 최종표본을 통해 산출된다. 본 연구에서 는 순환표본을 결합하여 추정량을 만들 때 필요한 가중치 산출의 문제를 고려하였다. 기존의 연구들이 각 조사에 따른 경험을 바탕으로 조사별로 가능한 순환표본 결합 가중치를 정의하였으나, 본 연구에서는 모든 가능한 관심변수에 적용 가능하도록 표본설계변수에만 의존하는 모형을 설정하고 주어진 모형하에서의 최량선형불편예측치(Best Linear Unbiased Predictor: BLUP)를 고려하였다. 모의실험을 통하여 각 모형 하에서 정의되는 여러 BLUP을 비교하여 모형변화에 강건한 추정량을 제안하고 그 결과를 제4기 국민건강영양조사에 적용하였다.

사이버공간과 사회조사:온라인 사회조사의 쟁점과 과제 (Cyberspace and survey research: The methodological implications and issues of online survey research)

  • 사이버공간이 독특한 사회적 공간으로 자리잡고 이에 대한 경험적 자료의 필요성이 중대됨에 따라 컴퓨터 통신망을 이용한 사회조사가 늘어나고 있다. 본 연구는 사이버공간이 보여주는 기술적 기능성을 방법론적으로 검토해 봄으로써 온라인 사회조사의 발전가능성을 탐색하고 있다. 온라인 사회조사는 표집틀, 응답자 접촉방식, 질문지 형태 등에 따라 회원 조사, 방문자조사, 전자우편조사, 전자설문조사로 구분될 수 있으며 기존의 조사방법에 비하여 조사비용의 저렴하고 조사의 실행이 용이하다는 특징을 가지고 있다. 그러나 체계적 오차와 관련하여 온라인 사회조사는 표본설계(모집단의 규정, 표집틀 오차, 추출오차), 측정(측정도구의 구성, 시스템의 안정성과 충실성, 비 응답 및 응답오차) 조사윤리의 측면에서 많은 과제를 안고 있다. 이러한 방법론적인 쟁점에 대한 충분한 고려가 이루어질 때 온라인 사회조사는 본격적인 조사연구의 한 방법으로 자리잡을 수 있을 것이다.

  • Sample surveys are usually designed and analyzed to produce estimates for a large area or populations. Therefore, for the small area estimations, sample sizes are often not large enough to give adequate precision. Several small area estimation methods were proposed in recent years concerning with sample sizes. Here, we will compare simple Bayesian approach with Bayesian prediction for small area estimation based on linear regression model. The performance of the proposed method was evaluated through unemployment population data form Economic Active Population(EAP) Survey.

생활환경에서의 표본 한국인의 개인자계 노출량 조사 (Survey on the Personal Magnetic Field Exposure of Sample Koreans from Living Environment)

  • The objective of this survey is to characterize personal magnetic field exposure of the general population in Korea. Participants for the survey on magnetic field exposure were selected randomly in some occupations. Those wore the magnetic field meter for about 25∼28 hours and the measured data were stored in the meter. In this first step survey, the number of participant is 244 and for the second step, about 400 participants will be surveyed in the near future. The statistics of the 24-hour exposure data are the major concern of this survey. However the survey provided the opportunity to analyze exposures corresponding to different types of activities. It was analyzed by separating periods of time corresponding to the following activities: entire 24-hour period, in bed, at work and by occupation. Therefore the database will be able to be established to analyze the status of personal magnetic field exposure and safety.

국민영양조사(國民營養調査)를 위한 표본설계(標本設計) 소고(小考) (A Sample Design for National Nutrition Servey)

  • In order to make clear the relationship between sample design and sample survey in community, it was conducted research on sample design for National Nutrition Survey in 1983. In this paper it was tried to analize the data based on The Report of a Settled Population, 1981 conducted by National Bureau of Statistics Economic Planning Board. The sample was basically using stratified two-stage sampling with systematic sampling of Ban or Li as administrative unit. The population represents the whole nation excluding Jeju-do because of budget. The selection of sampling unit and sampling procedure was as follows. 1) Stratify the nation-wide area in 20 sections according to administrative districts. 2) Determine the sample size in each section according to equal proportional rate (1 / 8040) and to about 1,000 households in the sample. 3) Select the 25 sampling units by section according to households proportion. 4) Select the 10 households at random from each Ban or Li according to equal probability proportion as the final sampling unit. Using the procedure, it was sampled 1,000 households for National Nutrition Survey in 1983.

축산물생산비조사를 위한 복합표본설계 (A Complex Sampling Design for the Estimation of Korean Livestock Production Cost)

  • 축산물 생산비 조사는 우리나라에서 생산되는 7종의 주요 축산물에 대한 생산비를 산출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 따라서 2005년 농업총조사 자료를 바탕으로 전국의 양축 농가 현황을 파악하였으며, 축산물별 평균 생산비에 대한 추정오차가 3%이내가 되도록 표본 축산농가수를 결정하고, 표본의 대표성을 유지하면서 조사 업무의 수월성을 고려하여 농업특성화 조사구를 1차 추출단위로 활용하였다. 본 연구에서는 농업특성화 조사구들을 양축 특성에 따라 층화하고 각 층에서 예비 표본 조사구를 추출하였다. 다음으로 예비 표본 조사구를 실사하여 1단계 표본을 구성하고, 1단계 표본 양축 농가로부터 최종 표본 농가를 계통추출하는 이중추출법을 이용하였으며 이에 따른 추정법을 제시하였다.
