표준화 화병환자를 활용한 한의대생의 진료 및 의사소통 수준연구 (A Study about the Medical Communication Proficiency of Korean Traditional Medical Students Using Standardized Patients with Hwa-Byoung)

  • Objectives : After analyzing the proficiency of medical communication of the students in College of Korean Traditional Medicine using standardized patients, we suggests ways to improve clinical practice in the future class and medical communication curriculum development. Methods : 20 students before clinical practice class (3rd grade) and 20 students after 1 year clinical practice class (4th grade) participated and did their medical interview on Standardized patient. They were evaluated on patient-physician communication skills by standardized patients and professor evaluator. In addition to be evaluated on patient-physician relationship, medical interview skills by professor evaluator. Results : As follows in the evaluation of clinical practice with standardized patients 1. More than half of the participated students regardless of their grade received poor score in their medical communication evaluated by SP(Standardized patient) and PE(Professor evaluator). 2. Greeting, History taking parts were higher in the 4th students who received 1 year clinical practice class, but verbal-nonverbal response, voice tone parts were higher in the 3rd students who do not received clinical practice lesson. 3. Pronunciation&Voice tone parts were higher in the male students but, gathering information part was higher in the female students. Conclusions : We think that the current clinical practice lessons are insufficient as a way to learn and improve medical knowledge and medical communication skills, and it is necessary a new form of clinical practice class. Participatory lesson using standardized patient could be a good alternative of that in the future class.

근로빈곤층 장애인가구의 빈곤탈출 분석 (A Study on the Determinants of Poverty-Exit of the Working Poor with Disabilities)

  • 본 연구는 근로빈곤층 장애인가구의 빈곤의 양상과 빈곤탈출 요인을 동태적 관점에서 분석하였으며, 장애인고용패널조사(1~6차년도)를 분석자료로 사용하였다. 분석결과, 장애인가구의 근로빈곤율은 전체 근로빈곤율의 약 3배 정도 높은 수준이며, 장애인 근로빈곤층의 규모는 전체 장애인 빈곤층의 평균 21.4%를 차지해 근로빈곤은 장애인 빈곤의 주요한 형태로 나타났다. 그리고 전체 인구의 단기간의 빈곤탈출확률은 60%를 넘어서는데 비해 근로빈곤층 장애인가구는 54.6%에 그쳐 빈곤탈피가 어려운 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 경제활동요인은 장애인가구의 근로빈곤의 탈출에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인이나, 취업은 반드시 빈곤의 탈출로 귀결되지 않으며, 근로시간, 종사상 지위 등의 취업의 질이 빈곤탈출에 주요한 요인으로 나타났다. 이 같은 결과는 장애인 근로빈곤의 해소를 위해 장애인의 고용지속성 확보와 더 나은 일자리로의 상향이동 촉진, 장애친화적인 근무환경 조성 그리고 사회안전망 내실화가 필요하다는 점을 시사한다.

Learning Deep Representation by Increasing ConvNets Depth for Few Shot Learning

  • Though recent advancement of deep learning methods have provided satisfactory results from large data domain, somehow yield poor performance on few-shot classification tasks. In order to train a model with strong performance, i.e. deep convolutional neural network, it depends heavily on huge dataset and the labeled classes of the dataset can be extremely humongous. The cost of human annotation and scarcity of the data among the classes have drastically limited the capability of current image classification model. On the contrary, humans are excellent in terms of learning or recognizing new unseen classes with merely small set of labeled examples. Few-shot learning aims to train a classification model with limited labeled samples to recognize new classes that have neverseen during training process. In this paper, we increase the backbone depth of the embedding network in orderto learn the variation between the intra-class. By increasing the network depth of the embedding module, we are able to achieve competitive performance due to the minimized intra-class variation.

A Statistical Perspective of Neural Networks for Imbalanced Data Problems

  • It has been an interesting challenge to find a good classifier for imbalanced data, since it is pervasive but a difficult problem to solve. However, classifiers developed with the assumption of well-balanced class distributions show poor classification performance for the imbalanced data. Among many approaches to the imbalanced data problems, the algorithmic level approach is attractive because it can be applied to the other approaches such as data level or ensemble approaches. Especially, the error back-propagation algorithm using the target node method, which can change the amount of weight-updating with regards to the target node of each class, attains good performances in the imbalanced data problems. In this paper, we analyze the relationship between two optimal outputs of neural network classifier trained with the target node method. Also, the optimal relationship is compared with those of the other error function methods such as mean-squared error and the n-th order extension of cross-entropy error. The analyses are verified through simulations on a thyroid data set.

  • Creeks, defined by creek's improvement law, have strong localities in the flow characteristics and environmental condition. During the recent ten-years, lots of flood damages have occurred rather in the creeks. However, quantity and stream design information are poor while the national-class and local-class streams have sufficient. This causes a problem on improving the safety from flood. This study focuses on assessment of practical applicability for design flood estimation models. For this, Rational formula, Clark's model and Nakayath synthetic unit hydrograph method are estimated by data of the creek comprehensive improvement plan report, etc.

상악전돌자의 하악형태에 관한 연구

  • This study was undertaken to investigate the form and position of the mandible of upper prognathism in relation to craniofacial complex. The subjects consist of 20 males and 39 females with Class II, Division 1 malocclusion and measurements were achieved on lateral cephalograms. The results were a follows. 1. Infradentale was situated anteriorly to orbital plane, but point B, pogonion and menton were situated posteriorly. 2. Development of chin point area of female was poor than that of male. 3. In case of facial angle was large, ramus angle tend to be small, but gonial angle had tendency to be large.

ADPM 기반의 실기 수업을 위한 저작 시스템의 프로토타입 개발

  • 현재 7차 교육과정의 컴퓨터교육에서 실기 위주, 학습자 중심의 개별화 수업을 강조하고 있다. 그러나 많은 학생 수, 실습 환경의 열악함, 적절한 교수-학습 방법의 부족 등으로 인하여 실기수업을 제대로 하기가 쉽지 않다. 이러한 실기 수업에서 일반적으로 사용하는 교수-학습 방법인 시범 실습형 교수 학습 방법을 개선한 ADPM을 사용하는 것이 좋을 것이다. 이 ADPM 기반의 실기 수업을 위해, 학습내용을 담은 전자책과 실습 내용을 동영상으로 캡처한 것을 서로 동기화 시켜 학습자들에게 제공한다면 학습자의 질문대기시간을 줄이고, 학습자의 자발적인 학습 습관을 길러줄 수 있을 것이며, 다양한 학습자의 학습 속도와 수준을 고려해줄 수 있을 것이다. 이에 본 연구는 이러한 ADPM을 지원해주기 위한 저작 시스템의 프로토타입을 개발하였다. 이 프로토타입은 저작 시스템에서 부족했던 전자책을 뭔고 간편하게 만들 수 있는 기능과 동영상 캡처, 동영상과 전자책과의 동기화 기능을 보완하여 컴퓨터 실기 수업 방법을 개선하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

창의·인성교육의 현장 실천에 대한 질적 분석 (A Qualitative Analysis on Implementation of Creativity and Character Education in Schools)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze qualitatively implementation in schools through perception on creativity and character education of teachers who participated in winter training and workshop which the Southeast Regional Center for Creativity and Character Education arranged. The results are as follows. Firstly, teachers responded that they used most often a variety of students' experiential and participant activities associated with the subject in practising creativity and character education. Secondary, they showed a wide variety of responses from 'not to able to measure' to 'to practice in every class' for how often to apply to and practise creativity and character education in class. Thirdly, for the question of 'How do you think environment for creativity and character education in your school', while parts of them responded 'sufficient educational environment', some of them did 'poor or not completely supported environment'. Lastly, most of them utilized teaching materials for creativity and character education periodically or in reconstructing according to instructional form in their class.

Localization of ripe tomato bunch using deep neural networks and class activation mapping

  • In this study, we propose a ripe tomato bunch localization method based on convolutional neural networks, to be applied in robotic harvesting systems. Tomato images were obtained from a smart greenhouse at the Rural Development Administration (RDA). The sample images for training were extracted based on tomato maturity and resized to 128 × 128 pixels for use in the classification model. The model was constructed based on four-layer convolutional neural networks, and the classes were determined based on stage of maturity, using a Softmax classifier. The localization of the ripe tomato bunch region was indicated on a class activation map. The class activation map could show the approximate location of the tomato bunch but tends to present a local part or a large part of the ripe tomato bunch region, which could lead to poor performance. Therefore, we suggest a recursive method to improve the performance of the model. The classification results indicated that the accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score were 0.98, 0.87, 0.98, and 0.92, respectively. The localization performance was 0.52, estimated by the Intersection over Union (IoU), and through input recursion, the IoU was improved by 13%. Based on the results, the proposed localization of the ripe tomato bunch area can be incorporated in robotic harvesting systems to establish the optimal harvesting paths.

용출규격 설정을 위한 생물약제학적분류체계 개념 활용 (Implementation of Biopharmaceutics Classification System Concepts in Developing Dissolution Tests)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the dissolution patterns of variety of orally administered drug products available on the market. It aimed to understand their dissolution behaviors on the basis of the biopharmaceutics classification system (BCS) concept. On the tenets of BCS, several active pharmaceutical ingredients were selected: fluoxetine hydrochloride (class I), naproxen sodium (class ll), pyridostigmine bromide (class III), furosemide (class IV) and simvastatin (class IV). Typical dissolution media used in this study were pH 1.2, pH 4 & 6.8 phosphate buffers, and water. In cases, particular dissolution media specified in the KP and/or USP were used. Dissolution patterns of fluoxetine hydrochloride and pyridostigmine bromide products were characterized by their rapid release In addition, their dissolution characteristics were relatively unaffected by the type of a dissolution medium. Similar dissolution patterns were observed with pH 1.2, pH 4 & 6.8 phosphate buffers and water. By sharp contrast, poor dissolution patterns were noticed with naproxen sodium products, when pH 1.2 and pH 4 phosphate buffer were used. Improvements in its dissolution were achieved by switching the dissolution media to pH 6.8 phosphate buffer or water. Unsatisfactory dissolution data also were observed with a simvastatin product, when it was subject to dissolution tests by use of a surfactant-free pH 1.2, pH 4 & 6.8 phosphate buffers and water. All the release patterns reported in this study were best understood when BCS concepts were implemented. Our results demonstrated that a BCS-based drug classification should be considered first to choose a dissolution test/method and set up dissolution specification.
