PV System 기반 ESS의 최적운전을 위한 설계 및 제어 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design and Control Characteristics for Optimum Operation of the PV System-based ESS)

  • In this study, realize voltage regulation $220Vac{\pm}10%$ or less, frequency fluctuation $60Hz{\pm}1%$ or less over the independent operation and grid-connected operation technologies for power stabilization relates to the ESS designed and manufactured in conjunction with solar installations and solar to compensate the output reduction due to the polarization of the solar module through the polarization prevention technology for preventing the optical module efficiency is lowered, in conjunction with the BMS inverter efficiency was more than 92%, more than 90% of the charging efficiency to the target. This study was designed in conjunction with the ESS solar power plants, grid-connected operation and independent operation, Peak-Cut, it can stabilize the grid via the Peak-Shifting operation

편광유지 광섬유로 구성된 10 GHz 파장가변 모드록킹 광섬유 고리형 레이저 제작 및 특성연구 (10 GHz wavelength tunable mode-locked filber ring laser configured with all polarization maintaining fiber)

  • 본 연구에서는 능동형 모드록킹 방식을 이용하여 10 GHz의 고반복률을 가지는 초단펄스 광섬유 고리형 레이저를 제작하였다. 레이저 공진기의 모든 부분을 편광유지 광섬유로 구성하여 편광변화에 의한 불안정성이 없는 비교적 안정된 펄스를 얻을 수 있었으며, 투과 대역폭 2.4 nm의 파장가변 필터를 공진기 내부에 삽입하여 발진파장을 1530 nm에서 1560 nm 까지 조절할 수 있었고, 0.4 nm 파장 선폭과 8 psec 펄스폭, 그리고 1.2mW평균출력을 갖는 펄스를 발생시킬 수 있었다. 또한, 여기광의 세기에 따른 relaxation oscillation 주파수 변화를 측정함으로써 레이저 공진기의 손실을 알 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다.

Probing Polarization Modes of Ag Nanowires with Hot Electron Detection on $Au/TiO_2$ Nanodiodes

  • Nanostructured noble metals have been attractive for their unusual optical properties and are widely utilized for various purposes. The optical properties mainly originating from collective electron oscillation can assist direct energy conversion via surface plasmon resonances. Here, we investigated the effect of surface plasmons of silver nanowires on the generation of hot electrons. It is reported that the surface plasmons of silver nanowires exhibit longitudinal and transverse modes, depending on the aspect ratio of the nanowires. In order to measure the hot electron flow through the metallic nanowires, chemically modified Au/TiO2 Schottky diodes were employed as the electric contact. The silver nanowires were deposited on a Au metal layer via the spray method to control uniformity and the amount of silver nanowire deposited. We measured the hot electron flow generated by photon absorption on the silver nanowires deposited on the Au/TiO2 Schottky diodes. The incident photon-to-current efficiency was measured a function of the photon energy, revealing two polarization modes of siliver nanowires: transverse and longitudinal modes. UV-Vis spectra exhibited two polarization modes, which are also consistent with the photocurrent measurements. Good correlation between the IPCE and UV-vis measurements suggests that hot electron measurement on nanowires on nanodiodes is a useful way to reveal the intrinsic properties of surface plasmons of nanowires.

연안 선박용 Al합금 프로펠러의 부식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Corrosion of Al-Alloy Propeller Used for a Coasting Vessel)

  • Recently, with the tendency of lightening, high-strength and high-speed in the marine industries such as marine structures, ships and propellers, it is rapidly enlarged the use of the aluminium alloy. Therefore, there occurs much interest in the study on corrosion characteristics of aluminium alloy. This paper was studied on the corrosion characteristics of Al-Mg alloy propeller used for a coasting vessel. Under the various pH of marine environment, the corrosion test of Al-Mg alloy was carried out. And thus polarization resistance, corrosion potential, and current density behavior of Al-Mg alloy and galvanic corrosion behavior of Al-brass and Al-Mg alloy coupled Al 5086 and SS 400 for hull were investigated. The main results are as following: 1. The corrosion potential of Al-brass propeller is more nobel than materials for hull, but that of Al-Mg alloy propeller is low or similar to materials for hull. Therefore, the galvanic corrosion of hull due to Al-Mg propeller don't occur. 2. The polarization resistance of Al-Mg alloy in sea water of pH 4 is highest, and corrosion current density of Al-Mg propeller is the most controlled. 3. As pH value decreases, potential showed Evans polarization diagram approaches cathodic potential. The corrosion current density of Al-Mg alloy is controlled to anodic reaction rate, therefore, the corrosion reaction of Al-Mg alloy is anodic control.

전력공급장치를 이용한 선박용 연료전지 시뮬레이터의 구현 (Implementation of Fuel Cell Simulator for Ship Using the Programmable Power Supply)

  • 연료전지를 선박에 적용하는 연구를 위해서는 연료전지 특성을 고려한 전력 시스템 설계 및 부하 제어에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 하지만 연료전지를 직접 실험하기 위해서는 여러 보조기기들과 복잡한 제어 기술이 필요하다. 이러한 이유로 연료전지 시뮬레이터가 필요하며, 이를 위한 연구가 활발히 진행중이다. 본 논문에서는 자동차, 소형 선박 등에 적용되고 있는 PEMFC에 관하여 LabVIEW를 기반으로 시뮬레이션 하였다. 또한 이러한 시뮬레이션 데이터를 바탕으로 프로그램이 가능한 전력공급장치를 이용하여 시뮬레이터를 제작하여 연료전지의 특성을 구현하였다. 이를 통해 연료전지의 분극화 곡선과 변수에 따른 I-V특성을 확인할 수 있었다.

Non-volatile Control of 2DEG Conductance at Oxide Interfaces

  • Epitaxial complex oxide thin film heterostructures have attracted a great attention for their multifunctional properties, such as ferroelectricity, and ferromagnetism. Two dimensional electron gas (2DEG) confined at the interface between two insulating perovskite oxides such as LaAlO3/SrTiO3 interface, provides opportunities to expand various electronic and memory devices in nano-scale. Recently, it was reported that the conductivity of 2DEG could be controlled by external electric field. However, the switched conductivity of 2DEG was not stable with time, resulting in relaxation due to the reaction between charged surface on LaAlO3 layer and atmospheric conditions. In this report, we demonstrated a way to control the conductivity of 2DEG in non-volatile way integrating ferroelectric materials into LAO/STO heterostructure. We fabricated epitaxial Pb(Zr0.2Ti0.8)O3 films on LAO/STO heterostructure by pulsed laser deposition. The conductivity of 2DEG was reproducibly controlled with 3-order magnitude by switching the spontaneous polarization of PZT layer. The controlled conductivity was stable with time without relaxation over 60 hours. This is also consistent with robust polarization state of PZT layer confirmed by piezoresponse force microscopy. This work demonstrates a model system to combine ferroelectric material and 2DEG, which guides a way to realize novel multifunctional electronic devices.

파장 스위핑 레이저의 평탄 스위핑 자동 유지 (Flat Sweeping Automatic Hold of Wavelength Swept Laser)

  • 본 논문에서는 파장 스위핑 레이저의 평탄 스위핑을 자동 유지하기 위한 새로운 방식을 제안하였다. 이 방식이 적용된 레이저의 제작 및 실험을 통하여 5시간이 경과하여도 평탄 스위핑 특성이 잘 유지되고 있음을 관찰하였다. 그리고 56nm의 스위핑 범위, 1kHz의 스위핑 주파수, 그리고 8.8mW 의 광 출력 파워도 확인하였다. 제안된 방식은 기존에 스위핑 레이저를 장시간 구동시킬 때 불가피하던 수동 편광 조절의 번거로움을 해소시키고 이 과정에서 요구되던 고가 광 스펙트럼 분석기의 사용을 배제시킨다.

Inhibitor에 關한 硏究 (Studies on Corrosion Inhibitors)

  • This investigation is to make comparative evaluation of the corrosion inhibiting effects of quinoline, oxine and 7-nitroso 8-hydroxy quinoline (7NHQ). In case of quinoline, and oxine, since the N atom in them functions as cation, the process involved is assumed to be cathode control. On the other hand 7-NHQ was found to form a stable chelate compound with $Fe^{++}$ ion in acidic solution and shows as anode control predominantly. After plotting polarization curves, Tafel parameters were calculated in each solution involving the inhibitors, at the same time corrosion inhibiting effects were separately measured and compared from data of both corrosion current and analytical method.
