지중 전력 선로 편단접지 시스템에서의 병행지선 및 SVL 설치방안 (Installation Methodology of Parallel Ground Conductor and SVL for Single Point Bonding System on Underground Power Cable)

  • In underground power cable system, the device for limiting over-voltage is needed when transient over-voltage break out between sheath and ground. For this reason, the SVL(Sheath Voltage Limiter) has been applied on weak points. But the broken SVLs which are installed on the single point bonding system on underground cable are frequently found. In this paper, EMTP(Electromagnetic Transient Program) is utilized to analyze effects on the installation methodology of the parallel ground conductor and SVL for the single point bonding system on the underground cable. The result shows that the proposed installation methodology can be applied for single point bonding system and contribute for power system stabilization.

Development of Self-Actuated Shutdown System Using Curie Point Electromagnet

  • An innovative concept for a passive reactor shutdown system, so called self-actuated shutdown system(SASS), is inevitably required for the inherent safety in liquid metal reactor, which is designed with the totally different concept from the usual reactor shutdown system in LWR. SASS using Curie point electromagnet(CPEM) was selected as the passive reactor shutdown system for KALIMER (Korea Advanced Liquid MEtal Reactor). A mock-up of the SASS was designed, fabricated and tested. From the test it was confirmed that the mockup was self-actuated at the Curie point of the temperature sensing material used in the mockup. An articulated control rod was also fabricated and assembled with the CPEM to confirm that the control rod can be inserted into core even when the control rod guide tube is deformed due to earthquake. The operability of SASS in the actual sodium environment should be confirmed in the future. All the design and test data will be applied to the KALIMER design.

  • This paper presents guideline for a practical design of the hybrid system combining a pressurized solid oxide fuel cell and a gas turbine. Design of the hybrid system based on a virtually designed gas turbine was simulated using models for off-design operation of the gas turbine. Two system configurations, with different method for supplying reforming steam, are considered and their design characteristics are compared. A higher design cell temperature provides better system performance. However, there exists a maximum allowable design cell temperature because the operating point of the compressor approaches the surge point with increasing fuel cell temperature. Increased pressure loss at the fuel cell moves the compressor operating point toward the surge point and reduces system performance.

비교그룹방법을 이용한 무인구간속도위반단속시스템 설치 효과 분석 (Study of the Effect of the Point-to-Point Speed Enforcement System Using a Comparison-Group Method)

  • 터널, 교량, 커브구간 등 교통사고위험이 연속적으로 존재하는 도로구간에서의 대형교통사고를 예방하기 위하여 경찰청은 2007년 1월 위험도로구간에서 교통관리 대책의 일환으로서 무인구간속도위반단속시스템 시범설치 운영을 결정하였다. 2007년 12월 영동고속도로 둔내터널 강릉방면을 시작으로 2011년 7월 현재까지 고속도로 8개 구간 및 국도 3개 구간, 총 11개 구간 85km에서 무인구간속도위반단속시스템이 운영 중에 있다. 하지만 이러한 무인구간단속시스템의 설치가 교통사고 감소에 얼마나 기여하는지에 대한 실질적인 연구가 부족하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 고속도로를 중심으로 무인구간속도위반단속시 스템 설치 전 후 교통사고건수를 체계적으로 비교할 수 있는 비교그룹방법을 이용하여 무인구간속도위반단속시스템의 설치효과를 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 2008년 고속도로에 설치된 무인구간속도위반단속시스템을 대상으로 설치 전 후 각 1년의 사고이력자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 그 결과, 무인구간속도위반단속시스템을 설치하지 않았을 경우에 비해 사업을 시행함으로서 49.97% 사고감소효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

수하물시스템의 사전할당지점을 이용한 병합제어 (Merge Control using Reserve Ahead Point in Baggage Handling System)

  • A baggage handling system (BHS) in airport is an unified system for moving the passengers' baggage in designated time. Input baggage from the check-in counter travels to the baggage claim area or cargo handling terminal through this system. In particular, entryway BHS consists of conveyors, X-ray and sorters such as tilt-tray to send the baggage to departing airplane and it could have various problems for handling certain amount of baggage in restricted time such as baggage jamming at certain merge point. This causes systemic error such as delay of the time, omissions of the baggage and even breakdown of the equipment and inefficiency. Also the increasing maximum time of the baggage passing through the BHS could delay the flight schedule and finally decrease the service level. Thus, the algorithm for controlling the flow of the merge is essential to the system. The window reservation algorithm is the one of the most frequently used methods to control the merge configuration. Above all, the reserve location, so called reserve ahead point, that allocates the window is important for the performance of the algorithm. We propose the modified window reservation algorithm and the best reserve locations by changing the reserve ahead point in the induction conveyors. The effect of various reserve ahead points such as the capacity and utility of the system were analyzed and the most effective reserve ahead point combination was found. The total baggage processing time and the utilization of the tilt-tray are properly considered when choosing the optimal Reserve ahead point combination. In the layout of this study, the configuration of four conveyors merged into one tilt-tray is studied and simulation analysis is done by AutoMod(R), 3D simulation software. Through the simulation, the window reservation algorithm is effectively operated with the best combination of reserve ahead point which reduces the maximum baggage travel time.

  • A stability analysis of a non-linear prey-predator system under the influence of one dimensional diffusion has been investigated to determine the nature of the bifurcation point of the system. The non-linear bifurcation analysis determining the steady state solution beyond the critical point enables us to determine characteristic features of the spatial inhomogeneous pattern arising out of the bifurcation of the state of the system.

  • The aim of this work is to construct a general family of two dimensional differential systems which admits homoclinic solutions near a non-hyperbolic fixed point, such that a Jacobian matrix at this point is zero. We then discretize it by using Euler's method and look after the persistence of the homoclinic solutions in the obtained discrete system.

Furthermore, we define a $k$-step iterative sequence approximating common fixed point for a system of asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive type mappings and study its stability in real Banach spaces.

  • LMDS 시스템은 미리미터파 대역을 통하여 신호를 정송하는 광대역 무선 전송 시스템이다. LMDS 시스템은 크게 하드웨어와 허브를 연결하는 중계망과 허브와 가입자간을 연결하는 분배망으로 구성된다. 본 연구에서는 LMDS 시스템의 백본망으로 활용이 가능한 점대점 중계망 시스템을 구현하였다. STM-1급의 전송신호를 27GHz 대역의 밀리미터파 대역으로 전송하는 시스템을 구현하고 이에 대한 성능을 분석하였다. 시험 결과 밀리미터 대역으로 STM-1을 전송하는 경우 이론적인 계산치에 근사하는 결과를 얻을 수 있었으며, 이 시스템은 LMDS 시스템의 백본망으로 충분히 활용할 수 있음을 증명하였다.

접지시스템의 설계를 위한 대지저항률의 합리적인 측정방법 고찰 (Examinations on the Reasonable Measuring Methods of the Soil Resistivity for Design of Grounding System)

  • In order to design effectively the grounding system, it is very important to determine the optimum soil resistivity at the desired location of the connection to earth. This paper deals with the reasonable methods of measuring the soil resistivity where grounding electrodes are buried. The soil resistivity at three test sites with different resistivity of soil were measured as functions of the spacing between the test probes in the Wenner's four-point method and the length of test ground rod in the three-point method. In the case of the three-point method, the length of test ground rod of 2-10[m] in length was appropriate in two-layered soil structure. In the length range of 2-10[m], the results measured by the three-point method using the test ground rod with the length corresponding to the spacing between the test probes of the Wenner's four-point method are in good agreement with the data obtained from the Wenner's four-point method.
