공압 진공장치 설계를 위한 전문가 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Expert System for Pneumatic Vacuum Equipment Design)

  • Pneumatics is widly used in the industrial implementation, in the operation of air-powered actuators and the control devices needed in their operation. However, there are many empirical factors in pneumatics design, it might cause excessive design of pneumatic components. For that reason, we developed VDES(Vacuum Design Expert System) for the economic design of pneumatic vacuum equipment. VDES is achieved with CLIPS(C Language Integrated Production System) and knowledge base that contains a number of facts and rules for pneumatic vacuum design. Forward chaining and depth first search technique are used in this system. Appling VDES to the actual field, this system is verified to be a good efficiency and could be applied to the field of pneumatic vacuum equipment design.

운동패러다임 변화로서의 공압 트레이닝 (Pneumatics (Air powered) Training as an Exercise Paradigm Shift)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 공압 트레이닝 방법의 원리와 적용 방법 등 새로운 트레이닝 개념을 소개하는데 있다. 특히 공기라고 하는 눈에 보이지 않는 무형의 저항을 이용한다는 새로운 소식도 함께 전달하면서 트레이닝 방법에 대한 시야확대에 기여하고자 시도되었다. 시대의 흐름에 따라 트레이닝법의 변천을 제시하였고, 왜 이러한 형태로 변화되는지에 대한 이론적 고찰을 하였다. 즉, 중량저항을 시작으로 유압식, 등속성 운동, 그리고 공압에 이르기까지 왜 이러한 훈련방법을 적용해야하는지에 대한 당위성을 제시하였다. 또한 공압 트레이닝의 우수성을 제시하였다. 가까운 미래에는 지금보다 더 우수한 트레이닝 방법이 생겨나게 될 것이다. 결론적으로, 첨단 트레이닝에 대한 관심과 적용이 스포츠 발전에 많은 기여를 할 것이다.

  • The pneumaic systems are widely applied to chemical factory of fire dangry and factory automation. by using compressed air, it is difficult to dynamics action analysis that the pneumatics system acts to nonlinear motion through orifices and valve flow. This paper was studied to a nonlinear chararistics of pneumaic spring, damper and absorber of pneumaic cushion cylinder.

Hot Gas와 Cold Gas를 이용한 모사 이중펄스 로켓 추진기관의 내부 유동 특성 (Internal Flow Characteristics of Simulated Dual Pulse Rocket Motor by Using the Hot Gas and Cold Gas)

  • 이중펄스 로켓 추진기관은 하나의 펄스분리장치에 의해 분리된 2개의 추진제 그레인을 가진 변형된 고체 추진기관이다. 이러한 추진기관의 주요 성능은 펄스분리장치 홀 면적대 노즐 목 면적비의 변화에 영향을 받는다. 본 연구에서는 펄스분리장치 홀 면적대 노즐 목 면적비 변화에 따른 내부유동특성을 고찰하기 위해 유동해석을 수행하였다. 유동해석에 사용된 기체로는 hot gas로 HTPB/AP계 복합추진제 연소가스와 cold gas로 질소가스롤 사용하였다. 이중펄스 로켓 추진기관의 내부유동해석 결과는 공압실험 결과와 비교 분석을 통해 검증하였다. 본 논문에서는 상용 CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) 코드인 ANSYS FLUENT V14.5를 이용하여 유동을 모사하였다.

인공공압근육 엑츄에이터를 이용한 족관절 보조기의 족저굴곡 토크 평가 (Evaluation of Plantarflexion Torque of the Ankle-Foot Orthosis Using the Artificial Pneumatic Muscle)

  • Ankle-foot orthosis with an artificial pneumatic muscle which is intended for the assistance of plantarfelxion torque was developed. In this study, power pattern of the device in the various pneumatics and the effectiveness of the system were investigated. The pneumatic power was provided by ankle-foot orthosis controlled by user‘s physiological signal, that is, muscular stiffness in soleus muscle. This pneumatic power can assist plantarflexion torque of ankle joint. The subjects performed maximal voluntary isokinetic plantarflexion motion on a biodexdynamometer in different pneumatics, and they completed three conditions: 1) without wearing the orthosis, 2) wearing the orthosis with artificial muscles turned off, 3) wearing the orthosis activated under muscular stiffness control. Through these experiments, we confirmed the effectiveness of the orthosis and muscular stiffness control using the analyzing isokinetic plantarflexion torque. The experimental results showed that isokinetic torques of plantarflexion motion of the ankle joints gradually increased in incremental pneumatic. The effectiveness of the orthosis was -7.26% and the effectiveness of the muscular stiffness control was 17.83% in normalized isokinetic plantarflexion torque. Subjects generated the less isokinetic torques of the ankle joints in wearing the orthosis with artificial muscles turned off, but isokinetic torques were appropriately reinforced in condition of wearing the orthosis activated under muscular stiffness control(17.83%) compared to wearing the orthosis(-7.26%). Therefore, we respect that developed powered orthosis is applied in the elderly that has weak muscular power as the rehabilitation equipment.

Pressure and temperature change in air cylinders in charged or discharged case

  • In pneumatic systems the temperature changes during operation owing to air compression or expansion, friction of air movement and friction between solid interface. The temperature change usually ha undesirable influence on process. To attain higher quality of pneumatics, studies in thermo-fluid dynamics is needed. This paper presents experimental results anti theoretical analysis on the temperature change by air charge and discharge to cylinders, which has no piston yet. The temperature increase by charge shows a strong, dependence on axial location along the cylinder, which is proved in theoretical analysis. The temperature decreases by discharge shows rather uniform in the cylinder, which is also proved by theory.
