  • The object of this paper is development of pneumatic servo actuator technique for energy saving type. In this paper, consist of pneumatic servo actuator technique is pneumatic servo valve, pneumatic motor and cylinder. This technique applied a automobile, aerospace engineering, a ship, defence industry and industrial machine because it have high response, high speed, high precision control, low friction etc., compare with previously technique. But it depend on import the whole quantity. So this study, suggest that through the development of servo actuator applicable the use of industrial field.

  • This paper presents a simulation model of a double-acting high-speed pneumatic cylinder with a relief valve type cushion mechanism. The model predicts piston motion, mass flow rate, pressure and temperature time histories of cushion chamber. Of interest here is to investigate the cushioning effect of varying the piston and piston-rod diameter, cushion ring diameter and length, and stoke in cushion mechanism. As a result, this cushion mechanism is found to be adequate under high-speed driving of pneumatic cylinders. The simulation model proposed here will be very useful to analyze the dynamic characteristics and to improve or design the better cushion mechanism in high-speed pneumatic cushion cylinders.

  • Pneumatic cylinders are classified into rod-type pneumatic cylinders and rodless pneumatic cylinders depending on the presence of the rod. Rodless cylinders have a constant area and have no deflection. Rodless cylinders are widely used in automatic systems requiring high-speed performance and high-precision transportation. However, the research of the pneumatic cylinder has been focused on the structure and life characteristics. In this research, aging characteristics and shape parameter analysis which are related to the lifetime were investigated. By conducting the lifetime tests with two different materials for the transfer plate, the failure mode and lifetime characteristics were analyzed. By the Anderson-Darling (A-D) verification based on the complete data set, the analysis results of lifetime distribution, shape parameter, and scale parameter were provided.

  • A hydraulic pin-on-disk type tribotester was developed and it's performance was investigated experimentally. The estimate of the performance was accomplished by comparing those of the pneumatic and the dead-weight loading method. The reliability to the performance was conformed. By hydraulic loading method more accra'ate friction coefficient could be got.

  • The design of non-pneumatic tires, which are created by filling the space between the wheel and the tread with elastomeric compounds or polygonal spokes, has become an important research topic in the automotive and aerospace industries. In this study, a system was designed for the design of non-pneumatic tires through the implementation of a generative adversarial network. We specifically examined factors that could impact the design, including the type of non-pneumatic tire, its intended usage environment, manufacturing techniques, distinctions from pneumatic tires, and how spoke design affects load distribution. Using OpenCV, various shapes and spoke configurations were generated as images, and a GAN model was trained on the projected GANs to generate shapes and spokes for non-pneumatic tire designs. The designed non-pneumatic tires were labeled as available or not, and a Vision Transformer image classification AI model was trained on these labels for classification purposes. Evaluation of the classification model show convergence to a near-zero loss and a 99% accuracy rate confirming the generation of non-pneumatic tire designs.

  • There are many EMU lines in korea. But only one type has been applied to passenger side door. This type is so called "Pocket sliding type". This type has some week points. To begin with, it is not good for decreasing the noisy form the outside of carbody. And the second time, if some obstacles are put between sliding door, only driver can operate re-open door switch manually ill driver's cab. This type is so dangerous for passengers. So many people want to the new door type that have no defect. KRRI joined forces with ANT corporation for pneumatic plug door system. This type will be good for decreasing the noisy, passenger′s safe. The project was started at the last year on November and will be finished on June, this year In this paper, we will deal with the role of cylinder, planetary gear, door control unit, dynamic mechanism, and the report of FEM, type test. This paper will contribute to tile electric motor control plug door system.

  • Seven axis modular type pneumatic manipulator is composed of electro-pneumatic automation system which contributes to factory automation by performing loading & unloading process successively which is simple routine work of dealing item of machine tool, catapult, assembly machine, welding machine and so on. In this study, we obtained soft and quick movement in a large space and good reliability motion of various function by combining several actuators which perform rotation movement as well as linear movement at the same time. Gripper which apply to rotary sensor transmitted a structure to demanded position. This development item of 5kgf load prevent stick-slip phenomena of stroke end by designing high cushion internal. We develope flexible manipulator which conforms to demand of user by applying multiple sequence program.
