생활폐기물 관로이송시스템의 진단과 최적화 방안 (Optimization of Waste Pneumatic Transportation System by Results of Facility Diagnosis)

  • The purpose of this article is to diagnosis all aspects of waste pneumatic transportation system, in order to provide everyone interested in the subject with a optimal design and management of the system. The results of the analyzed inlet boxes were especially designed for customers' convenience and automatically operation, side air intake, ensure good wear. And key of pipelines were showed design standard as degree of an angle. Also, the system is mostly equipped with automatic control and watch conducted inside the waste collection facilities, and it will cut down excessive manpower and be able to be managed by least trained personnel.

  • Damping piston with an orifice in the piston head is utilized to improve the damping characteristics of a pneumatic push-push type rotary actuator. Through linearized analysis, the optimum size of orifice, which gives maximum damping effect at the frequency where damping is desired. most, is predicted. The frequency response test of teal system were carried out to see the effects of damping piston and to obtain true optimum size of orifice by trying orifices of various size near the predicted value. During the tests, both air and helium were tried as working fluid, and a lag-lead compensation circuit was incorporated to improve system dynamics. The finally chosen orifice size is a little bigger than that predicted from analysis, however it gives high damping effects for the finally designed pneumatic system enough to have wide frequency response bandwidth.

  • Pneumatic system is widely applied in various industry because it have a many advantage(low cost, high safety, etc..). For design of pneumatic system, accurate flow measurement is required. In this study, compressible fluid flow measurement apparatus was designed and built. It uses an isothermal chamber that can approximate isothermal condition. Therefore, it can be measured for flow-rate using pressure response of isothermal chamber. As a result, this apparatus can be measured for sonic conductance and critical pressure ratio of pneumatic components and it required less time and energy than conventional flow meter. The effectiveness of the designed apparatus is proved by experimental result.

인공공압근육 엑츄에이터를 이용한 족관절 보조기의 족저굴곡 토크 평가 (Evaluation of Plantarflexion Torque of the Ankle-Foot Orthosis Using the Artificial Pneumatic Muscle)

  • Ankle-foot orthosis with an artificial pneumatic muscle which is intended for the assistance of plantarfelxion torque was developed. In this study, power pattern of the device in the various pneumatics and the effectiveness of the system were investigated. The pneumatic power was provided by ankle-foot orthosis controlled by user‘s physiological signal, that is, muscular stiffness in soleus muscle. This pneumatic power can assist plantarflexion torque of ankle joint. The subjects performed maximal voluntary isokinetic plantarflexion motion on a biodexdynamometer in different pneumatics, and they completed three conditions: 1) without wearing the orthosis, 2) wearing the orthosis with artificial muscles turned off, 3) wearing the orthosis activated under muscular stiffness control. Through these experiments, we confirmed the effectiveness of the orthosis and muscular stiffness control using the analyzing isokinetic plantarflexion torque. The experimental results showed that isokinetic torques of plantarflexion motion of the ankle joints gradually increased in incremental pneumatic. The effectiveness of the orthosis was -7.26% and the effectiveness of the muscular stiffness control was 17.83% in normalized isokinetic plantarflexion torque. Subjects generated the less isokinetic torques of the ankle joints in wearing the orthosis with artificial muscles turned off, but isokinetic torques were appropriately reinforced in condition of wearing the orthosis activated under muscular stiffness control(17.83%) compared to wearing the orthosis(-7.26%). Therefore, we respect that developed powered orthosis is applied in the elderly that has weak muscular power as the rehabilitation equipment.

  • When a robot is to have contact with its enviornment, such as a medi-care robot, it would be advantageous for the robot to have a high compliance. For this reason, a robot having not only a flexible link but also an actuator with compliance, is desirable. This paper is concerned with the position and vibration control of 1 degree of freedom flexible robot using a pneumatic artificial muscle actuator. The dynamics of the manipulator assumed to be and Euler-Bernoulli beam are derived on the basis of the linear mathematical modle. Although this pneumatic artifical muscle actuator has many merits for the compliance robot, it is difficult to make an effective control scheme of this system because of ths nonlinearity and uncertainty on the dynamics of the actuator. By designing a controller using .mu.-synthesis, robust performance against measurement noise, various modeling uncertainties on the dynamics of the servo valve, actuator and mainpulator, is achieved. The effectiveness of the proposed control method is illustrated through simulations and experiments.

  • As the brake control valve of freight car, there are sliding valve and diaphragm one. In this study, we measured and analyzed pneumatic characteristics of brake system of the freight car by using real train experiment. The difference of the release time appears in the freight car incorporated with sliding and diaphragm valve respectively. We adapted quick release valve to reduce the difference of the release time and also found that this valve is useful for the purpose.

  • Ultrasonic nonlinearity has been considered as a promising method to evaluate the micro damage of material; however, its magnitude is so small that its measurement is not easy. Especially, when we use contact PZT transducer, if the contacting pressure is not kept in constant during the measurement then there exists extraneous fluctuation in the measured nonlinearity caused by the unstable contact condition, In this paper, we developed a pneumatic control system to keep the contacting pressure of transducer in constant during the measurement and analyzed the effect of contacting pressure to the ultrasonic nonlinearity measurement As a result, we found that the pressure of transducer in our measurement system should be greater than 170 kPa to measure the ultrasonic nonlinear parameter in stable with no dependency on the contacting pressure.

  • The demands for vehicle safety systems such as ABS and ESC have been increased. Accurate vehicle state estimation is required to realized the abovementioned systems and tire-friction coefficient is crucial information. Estimation of lateral tire-road friction coefficient using pneumatic trail information is mainly dealt in this paper. Pneumatic trail shows unique characteristics according to the wheel side slip angle and these property is highly sensitive to vehicle lateral motion. The proposed algorithm minimizes the use of conventional tire models such as magic formula, brushed tire model and Dugoff tire model. The pure side slip maneuver, which means no longitudinal dynamics, is assumed to achieve the ultimate goal of this paper. A simulation verification using Carsim and Simulink is performed and the results show the feasibility of the proposed algorithms.

  • 추진기관 시스템 시험설비 (PSTC)는 한국형발사체 (KSLV-II)의 추진기관 시스템을 검증하기 위해 고안되었다. 구성요소로는 유공압 시스템, 테스트 스탠드 시스템, 제어계측 시스템, 후류안전시스템이 있으며 본 논문에서는 유공압 시스템의 연료공급 시스템에 대해서 소개하고 있다. 연료 공급 시스템은 연료의 저장 및 냉각, 공급 배관의 냉각 및 퍼지, 연료의 충전 및 회수를 수행하는 시스템을 의미하며 한국형발사체 1/2/3단의 연료충전 조건을 고려하여 설계하였다.
