원통형 종이포트 고추 묘의 생육 차이가 초기 뿌리 생육과 수량에 미치는 영향 (Effect of the Seedlings Difference in Cylindrical Paper Pot Trays on Initial Root Growth and Yield of Pepper)

  • 본 연구는 최근에 도입된 원통형 종이포트 묘에 대한 현장 활용가능성을 검토하고자 기존의 프러그 묘를 대조구로 하여 몇가지 육묘조건에 따른 묘의 생육 차이를 분석하고, 정식 후 수량을 비교하였다. 전주 유리온실에서 수행된 육묘 실험에서는 묘의 생육은 프러그 트레이 50공에서 지속 시비한 처리에서 생육량이 가장 많았다. 생육은 육묘 상자의 구멍에 채우는 상토량에 따라 영향을 받으며, 육묘 상자 보다는 시비 처리에 따른 차이가 더 컸다. 공시한 '청양', '대권선언', '롱그린맛' 품종 모두 같은 양상을 보였다. 육묘 후 비닐하우스와 노지에 심어서 뿌리 발달과 수량을 조사한 결과, 비닐하우스 재배 시 '청양' 품종의 뿌리 내림은 종이포트묘와 프러그묘 간에 차이가 없었으며, 공시한 3 품종 모두 최종 누적수량의 차이는 없었다. 전주 지역 노지재배에서는 '청양'은 종이포트묘가, '대권선언'과 '롱그린맛'은 프러그묘가 누적수량이 많았다. 영양 지역에서 '대권선언' 품종은 종이포트묘와 프러그묘 간에 수량 차이는 없었다. 결론적으로 육묘 처리 조건에 따른 원통형 종이포트 고추묘의 생육의 변화는 기존의 프러그묘와 같은 양상이며, 정식 후 재배조건과 품종에 따른 미미한 차이는 있었으나 전반적으로 수량차이는 없는 것으로 나타나 앞으로 원통형 종이포트 고추 묘에 대한 활용가능성은 높을 것으로 판단되었다.

컨테이너에 의한 조경수 생산방식이 이식 후 활착에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Containerized Landscape Tree Production Methods on Post-tansplant Strees)

  • This study is conducted to evaluate the effects of containerized landscape tree production methods on post-transplant stress. Two types of container such as plastic pot(pot), fabric growing bag(bag) were adopted to restrict tree roots. Each types of containers was divided into seven sub-types. One traditional production method was included as comparison. Two landscape woody plants species (Magnolia denudata, Albizzia julibrissin) were implanted in the 7 sub-types of container. After one or two growing season in the container, each types of container trees was transplanted. Half of the trees were transplanted in the mild spring season, and another half of trees were transplanted in the improper summer season. The data were collected on the crown wilting ratio and trunk die-back ratio. The result of the analysis based on these data were as follows; 1) The container production methods were lower than the traditional production methods by 3 times in the average wilting ratio of summer season's transplanting point. 2) Post-transplant stress was more successfully mitigated, in case the "pot" type as was the "bag" types of container. 3) The effective and economic way of mitigating post-transplant stress by container production methods was selecting container plants of vigorous and deep root systems. 4) The "pot" type of container was to restrict tree roots more successfully, But, winter chilling and low temperature attacked the "pot" type tree's twigs and suckers. These results indicated that "pot" grown container plants should managed carefully during the winter after transplanting. Based upon the results of this study, a subsequent research on the development of container material, growth type of the container trees, and other maintaining method will be required.es, and other maintaining method will be required.

Biological Control of Pythium Damping-off of Bush Okra Using Rhizosphere Strains of Pseudomonas fluorescens

  • A severe damping-off disease of bush okra caused by Pythium aphanidermatum, was diagnosed in plastic houses in Der Attia village, 15 km southwest of El-Minia city, Egypt, during the winter of 2001. Bush okra seedlings showed low emergence with bare patches inside the plastic houses. Seedlings that escaped pre-emergence damping-off showed poor growth, stunting and eventually collapsed. Examination of the infected tissues confirmed only Pythium aphanidermatum, showing its typical intercalary antheridia, and lobulate zoosporangia. P. aphanidermatum was shown to be pathogenic on bush okra under pot and field experiments. Bacteria making inhibition zones against the damping-off fungus P. aphanidermatum were selected. Agar discs from rhizosphere soil of bush okra containing colonies were transferred onto agar plate culture of P. aphanidermatum. After 2 days of incubation, colonies producing clear zones of non-Pythium growth were readily detected. The two bacteria with the largest inhibition zones were identified as Pseudomonas fluorescens. Bush okra emergence(%) in both pot and plastic houses experiments indicated that disease control could be obtained by applying P. fluorescens to the soil or coating the bacteria to the bush okra seeds before sowing. In the plastic houses, application of the bacteria onto Pythium-infested soil and sowing bush okra seeds dressed with bacteria gave 100% emergence. In addition, This was the first reported disease of bush okra by this oomycete in Egypt.

부산물을 이용한 꽃게 통발용 미끼의 유인 효과 (Attracting effect of baits used the by-product for swimming crab Portunus trituberculatus pots)

  • In order to develop the substitutive materials for natural baits of swimming crab pots, the attracting effects of swimming crab such as the preference of baits which were made of the by-products of marine and stock raising through the water tank experiments and fishing experiments. On the investigation of mean entrapped catch number to the pot by the baits after putting the 4 kinds of baits, mackerel(M), mackerel with grinded mackerel s internals($MM_I$), mackerel with tuna s internals$MM_I$) and makerel with grinded krill(MK) each in one pot by turns, $MM_I$ and MK were entrapped mean 3.9(13.0%) and they were a little more comparing to M, and $MT_I$ is least with mean 2.1(7.0%)(F=12.913, P < 0.05). Otherwise, on the preference investigation of swimming crabs by the baits after putting the 4 kinds of baits in the 4 pots each, M was entrapped mean 3.0(10%), but $MM_I$, $MT_I$ and MK were mean 1.2(4.0%), 1.0(3.3%) and 1.5(5.0%) each and they were only 30-50% of M(F=13.398, P < 0.05). On the preference investigation of swimming crabs by the 5 kinds of baits, mackerel(M), and krill(K), manila clam($M_C$), pig s fat($P_F$) and chicken s head($C_H$) which were used in substitutive baits, M was entrapped mean 3.2(10.7%), but K was about 50% of catch of M with mean 1.6(5.3%), and $M_C$, $P_F$ and $C_H$ were very few with mean 0.1-0.2(0.3-0.7%)(F=89.186, P < 0.05). On the preference investigation of swimming crabs by the pots which were put each the 3 kinds of baits, original krill(K), grinded krill with gluten and soybean oil cake($K_GGS$) and grinded krill with gluten, soybean oil cake and glycine($K_GGSG_L$) in the blue fluorescent hexahedral plastic bait cages(BF), and which were put the mackerel(M) in the non-fluorescent hexahedral red plastic bait cage($RF_N$), it was entrapped mean 3.0(10.0%) in the pot which was put the mackerel in the $RF_N$, and the same level in the pots which were put the K and $K_GGSG_L$ in the BF, but it was mean 2.0(6.7%) in the pots which was put the $K_GGS$ in BF and it was decreased by 30% of catch comparing to $RF_N$(F=3.750, P < 0.05). On the preference investigation of swimming crab by the pots which was put grinded tuna with gluten, soybean oil cake and glycine($T_IGSG_L$) in the blue fluorescent hexahedral plastic bait cage(BF), and which was put mackerel(M) in the nonfluorescent hexahedral red plastic bait cage($RF_N$), it was entrapped mean 3.3(11.0%) in the pot which was put mackerel in $RF_N$, and mean 2.7(9.0%) in the pot which was put $T_IGSG_L$ in BF and it was about 15% less comparing to use bait M(t=1.387, P < 0.05). As a results of fishing experiments, a plan for enhancing catching efficiency of $T_IGSG_L$ will be required because catching efficiency of $T_IGSG_L$, alternative bait, was half of fish catching efficiency of natural bait using mackerel. Fishing experiments were conducted 3 times using reinforced substitutive artificial bait that is reinforced attractive effect of $T_IGSG_L$ and composed of tuna intestine, grinded mackerel, gluten, soybean cake, glycine and alanine($T_IM_GGSG_LA$). Catching efficiency of $T_IM_GGSG_LA$ was about 80% of that of natural bait made of mackerel.

소형 분화류의 포장재 및 포장용기에 대한 소비자의 기호도 조사 (A Survey on the Consumer Packaging Preferences for Mini Pot Flower Plants on Domestic Market in Korea)

  • 최근 화훼 산업의 활성화를 위하여 정부 주도의 캠페인, 꽃 문화 확산 운동 등 화훼 소비 증대를 위한 활동들이 꾸준히 진행되고 있다. 절화류 상품은 MA 포장, 기능성 포장 개발 등 다양한 방법을 통하여 상품의 품질 유지를 위한 연구가 진행되고 있으나, 국내 분화류 제품의 경우 품질 개선 및 포장 디자인 등에 대한 연구가 여전히 미비한 실정이다. 또한 소형 분화류의 온라인 마켓 유통량이 점차 증가되고 있음에 따라, 산지에서 소매점, 소비자에게 이르기까지 제품의 품질 유지를 위한 다양한 구조 형태의 포장 개발이 요구되고 있다. 본 조사 연구는 소형 분화류 제품에 대한 소비자의 요구에 적합한 포장을 고려하기 위하여 기존 포장을 개선하는 목적으로 포장 소재 및 형태, 투명도, 편리성, 및 기타 포장 선호도 등에 대한 조사를 실시하였다. 결과로 플라스틱 포장 소재, 분리형 포장, 투명 포장 그리고 상품의 안정성 및 품질 유지를 위한 포장을 선호하는 것으로 파악되었다. 따라서 국내 소비자의 소형 분화류 상품 선호도 조사 연구를 바탕으로 향후 다양한 분화류 제품 및 제품 크기에 따른 상품화 가능성, 가격 변화 요인 등을 고려한 연구가 추가적으로 진행되어야 될 것으로 판단된다.

컨테이너에서 재배된 백목련과 자귀나무의 이식전후 생장률 평가 (An Evaluation on the Growth Rates of Magnolia denudata and Albizzia julibrissin Produced in Containers)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the growth rate of landscape trees produced in containers for three year, and the growth rate of the establishment period during sixth month~twelve months after transplanting. Two types of container such as plastic pot(pot) and fabric growing bag(bag) were adopted to restrict tree roots. Each type of container was divided into seven sub-types. One traditional production method was included as comparison. Two landscape woody plant species (Magnolia denudata, Albizzia julibrissin) were planted in the seven sub-types of container. After one or two growing season in the container, the trees of each container type were transplanted. Half of the trees were transplanted in the mild spring season, and the other half were transplanted in the improper summer season. The data was collected on the diameter of root cellar and the tree height in each year. The research results are as follows; 1. Container production method was lower than the traditional production methods by 1.3 times ~ 2 times in the growth rates. 2. The Geocell bag and Root control bag revealed higher growth rates than pp-woven bag. And pot- in-pot(double pot)system revealed higher growth rates than the ether container pot system in A denudata. There were no differences in the growth rates between container production system in Albizzia julibrissin. 3, The growth rates of improper transplanting trees was high in the \"pot\" type - \"bag\" type - \"control\" in descending order. Especially, the growth rates of \"pot\" type revealed higher than \"control\" by 4 times. 4. From the results of ANOVA and Ad hoc test, the variable of growth factors of each container types in improper transplanting experiment was not significant for a range of 5% or 1% level. And the growth rates of traditional production method was lower than the container production method. 5. There was no differences in growth rate between the containerized and the traditional production system in the case of proper transplanting experiment. The growth rates of diameter of root collar was higher in the \"control\". The growth rates of tree height was higher in the \"bag\" type. Finally, based upon the results of this study, subsequent research on the development of container materials and maintaining methods that focused on the growth rates would be required.aintaining methods that focused on the growth rates would be required.

옥수수(Zea may L.)재배 토양에서 제지슬러지퇴비의 시용효과: 무기태인산을 중심으로(II) (Influence of paper Mill Sludge Compost to Corn(Zea may L.) cultivated Soil(Incase of Inorganic Phosphorus))

  • 본 연구는 제지슬러지퇴비를 농업분야에 활용할 때 시용효과를 분석하고자 수행하였고, 대상작물은 옥수수였다. 퇴비는 사질토양과 일정비율로 혼합하였으며, 시용효과를 분석하기 위해 인산의 가용화, 작물체의 양분흡수. 이에 따른 토양중 무기인산의 변화를 평가했다. 포트 시험은 비닐하우스에서 이루어졌으며, 인산의 분획물과 작물의 수량을 조사하였다. 포토실험에서 시간에 따른 변화중 Saloid-P의 양은 다소 증가하는 경향이었으나, Fe-P는 감소하였고, 시용량이 많았던 100Mg/ha 처리구에서는 감소의 폭이 뚜렷하였다. 제지슬러지퇴비를 시용한 포트에서 옥수수를 재배한 결과, 퇴비의 시용량이 많을수록 수량은 증가하였으며, 질소의 흡수는 증가한 반면, 식물체중 인산의 농도는 감소하는 경향이었다. 그러나 퇴비의 시용량 증가로 식물체중 인산의 농도가 감소하는 경향이었음에도 불구하고 인산의 결핍은 일어나지 않았다.

붕장어 통발의 개량 (Improvement of Sea Eel Pots)

  • 어획성능이 우수한 튜브통발의 적정규격을 규명하기 위하여 규격이 다른 실험용 튜브통발을 여러 가지로 제작하여 수조실험과 해상실험을 실시하였다. 수조실험에서는 튜브, 깔때기 및 혀그물의 적정규격을 규명하였고, 해상실험에서는 수조실험에서 규명한 개량형 튜브통발과 재래식 플라그틱통발과의 어획성능을 비교 검토하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 붕장어는 통발침지 15분이내에 전체입망중 $90\%$이상이 입망하였다. 2. 개량형 튜브통발과 재래식 플라스틱통발의 구조적 차이점은 구멍이 없는 튜브의 양단에 입구가 있으며 깔때기의 끝에 양쪽으로 봉합선을 넣어 납작하게 한 2중혀그물을 부착하였고 통발의 중앙부에 그물로 만든 이료주머니를 고정시킨 점으로 압축된다. 3. 개양형 튜브통발의 적정규격은 (1) 튜브 : 직경 $12\~13\times$길이 80cm, 2) 깔때기 : 깊이 $5\times$안쪽링의 직경 6cm, (3) 혀그물 : 길이 10cm 이다. 4. 개량형 튜브통발의 어획성능이 재래식플라스틱 통발보다 약 2.3배 우수하였다.

메밀 속성 장 프리믹스 제조 및 품질특성 (Quality Characteristics and Optimization of Premix-Type Buckwheat Soksungjang)

  • 메밀 속성 장 프리믹스의 최적 조건을 확립하고자 품질특성을 조사하였다. 소금량(8, 10, 12%)에 따른 품질특성 결과, 대장균 군수는 소금량 10, 12%(21일), 8%(28일) 이후로 검출되지 않았으며, B. subtilis HJ18-4를 starter로 첨가한 군은 발효 7일부터 검출되지 않았다. 아미노태 질소 함량은 21일까지 급격히 증가하였으며, 그 후로 완만히 증가하였다. 그 결과, 소금 함량 10%, starter 첨가 시 보다 안전한 발효가 이루어졌다. 가수량(1:1, 1:1.5. 1:1.8)의 따른 품질특성 결과, 총균수와 아미노태 질소 함량은 가수량이 적을수록 높았으며, 1:1 혼합(35일)일 때 아미노태 질소 함량은 169.5mg%로 가장 높았고, 발효 28일 이후 대장균 군이 검출되지 않았다. 용기별(항아리, 유리, 플라스틱)의 품질특성 결과, 총균수와 아미노태 질소 함량은 유리 용기 대비 플라스틱과 항아리 용기가 높았으며, 대장균군도 보다 빨리 감소하였다. Batch size(1.25 kg, 2.5 kg)를 달리하여 제조된 메밀 속성 장의 품질특성 결과, 총균수와 아미노태 질소 함량은 batch size에 따른 큰 차이가 없었으며, 대장균 군 측정 결과, 14일째 2.5 kg($3.00{\times}10^2$ CFU/g), 1.25g ($1.25{\times}10^3$ CFU/g)으로 나타났다. 메밀 속성 장 프리믹스의 최적 조건은 가수량 1:1, 소금의 양 10%, B. subtilis HJ-18-4를 starter로 첨가, 항아리 및 플라스틱 용기는 3주, 유리 용기는 4주 발효시키는 것이 바람직하였다.

생분해문어단지의 제작과 Polyethylene (PE) 문어단지와의 어획 비교 (Development of the biodegradable octopus pot and its catch ability comparison with a Polyethylene (PE) pot)

  • Biodegradable octopus pot was developed to reduce plastic pollution problem in the sea and fishing trouble between fishermen. It can be expect to recycle other wasted biodegrade fishing gear. Experimental fishing was carried out to understand the difference in fishing efficiency between Polyethylene (PE) octopus pots and biodegradable (Polybutylene Succinate and Polybutylene adipate-co-terephthalate) octopus pots which was tried to make in this study in the sea. There were caught by 237 numbers of fishing during the experimental period. Among the 237 numbers of fishing, 160 or 67.5% were PE pots which were more than the biodegradable pots. A comparison of the monthly catches between the PE pots and biodegradable pots shows that the catches were overall higher in the PE pots than in the other pots. The result is very similar with the comparison of total catches by each type of the pots. In terms of bycatch, the number of species, amount of catches and the number of fishing with bycatch were more significant in the biodegradable pots than in the PE pots.
