플라스틱 클러치 마스터 실린더 바디의 응력해석에 관한 연구 (A study of interior stress of plastic clutch master cylinder body)

  • Special quality of automobile clutch master cylinder(CMC) and analyzed aluminum, plastic material comparison. Efficiency of plastic master cylinder can modularize higher, light weight anger of parts, several piece parts by single parts, prove NVH(Noise, Vibration, Harshness) than aluminum master cylinder as analysis result. Also, structure is easy simplicity, exchange, maintenance costs can be reduced and decrease environmental pollution because recycling is superior. According as content of glass fiber increases, mechanical properties of matter of material increase equally and glass fiber changed variously by condition on manufacturing process. Through comparison analysis with Plastic Body development connection site, did verification.

회전성형 제품의 품질 개선을 위한 연구 (A Study on Quality Assurance for Rotational Molding Products)

  • Rotational molding is a plastics processing technique that is ideally suited to producing relatively large, hollow, seamless parts which are partially or totally enclosed. Designers of plastic parts turn to rotational molding to produce small or large parts of unusual shape that cannot be produced as one piece by other processes, e.g., blow molding and thermoforming. In this paper, in order to enhance the quality of rotational molding plastic products, 1) surface features for the plastic products are characterized by using an image analysis system, 2) maximum tensile strength for the plastic products that are made of materials that consist of Samsung-Atofina R90lU, pigments and two different kinds of calcium carbonate (OMYA CaCO$_3$) is measured and compared with each other by using an Instron universal testing machine, 3) thickness for the plastic products is non-destructively measured to investigate the quality of the plastic products by using an A-scan ultrasonic tester.

재활용을 위한 몰드베이스 구조 및 표준화 (The Structure and Standardization of Mold Base for Recycling)

  • The injection molding is a traditional manufacturing method that can make plastic parts by just one time in mold. Therefore, the injection molding has become one of a manufacturing method, which is widely applied in a producing of plastic products. Nowadays, to use of plastic parts has increased and plastic product-model using term has been shorten. By these reasons, using term of a injection mold has fast been reduced. These produced molds will be disused and leaved in a storage after a regular term to use it. These leaved molds are sometime sold as scrap iron. But, these molds have lots parts for recycling except special parts for example, cavities, cores and eject pins, etc. In this research, we investigated when the cavity and core of in injection mold would be changed, the injection mold could be recycled. We suggested the structures and standardizations for recycling of a moldbase. We also developed a program in which can be used when the recycling moldbase design in the Auto-CAD with the recycling standards. We called this program as the Recy-Mold. For the availability of the program and moldbase structure fur the recycling standards, we experimented a used mold for automobile lens, which was remanufactured by the recycling standard. The results of this test showed feasibility for the recycling mold.

T자형 단면형상을 가진 성형품의 싱크마크 불량 감소 방안에 대한 연구 (A study on the reduction method of sink marks for plastic products with T-shape)

  • In the automotive industry these days, plastic parts have been developed and replaced with plastic parts by maintaining the same function of existing press parts for a variety of reasons. Injection molding plastic parts are subject to molding defects due to various factors, among which the sink marks usually occur in the areas where bosses and ribs are installed. In this study, we analyzed the influence of various factors on the occurrence of sink marks by using the flow analysis of the forming analysis program(Moldflow analysis) using the rib model with the T-shape. Tests have shown that the greatest influence on the sink mark of cosmetic products is the thickness and pressure of the ribs, and the thickness of the basic moulding thickness of the product increases. However, it was considered that the resin temperature and the mold temperature do not greatly affect the occurrence of the sink mark.

고리 봉합법을 이용한 심부 수지 굴건 종지부에서의 건봉합 (Loop Suture Technique for Flexor Digitorum Profundus Tendon Repair in the Insertion Site)

  • Purpose: In the case of repair for far distal parts of FDP (Flexor digitorum profundus) division, the method of either pull-out suture or fixation of tendon to the distal phalanx is preferred. In this paper, the results of a modified loop suture technique used for the complete division of FDP from both zone 1a and distal parts of zone 1b in Moiemen classification are presented. Methods: From July 2006 to July 2009, the modified loop suture technique was used for the 10 cases of FDP in complete division from zone 1a and distal parts of zone 1b, especially where insertion sites were less than 1 cm apart from a tendon of a stump. In a suture technique, a loop is applied to each distal and proximal parts of tendon respectively. Core suture of 2-strand and epitendinous suture are done with PDS 4-0. Out of 10 patients, the study was done on 6 patients who were available for the followup. The average age of the patients was 49.1 years (in the range from 26 to 67). 5 males and 1 female patients were involved in this study. There were 3 cases with zone 1a and distal parts of zone 1b. The average distance to the distal tendon end was 0.6 cm. There were 5 cases underwent microsurgical repair where both artery and nerve divided. One case of only tendon displacement was presented. The dorsal protective splint was kept for 5 weeks on average. The results of the following tests were measured: active & passive range of motion, grip strength test, key pinch and pulp pinch test. Results: The follow-up period on average was 11 months, in the range from 2 to 20 months. There was no case of re-rupture, but tenolysis was performed in 1 cases. In all 6 cases, the average active range of motion of distal interphalangeal joint was 50.8 degree. The grip strength (ipsilateral/contralateral) was measured as 88.7% and the pulp pinch test was 79.2% as those of contralateral side. Flexion contracture was presented in 2 cases (15 degree on average) and there was no quadrigia effect found. Conclusion: Despite short length of tendon from the insertion site in FDS rupture in zone 1a and distal parts of zone 1b, sufficient functional recovery could be expected with the tendon to tendon repair using the modified loop suture technique.

중대형 플라스틱 제품 성형공정 모사를 위한 3 차원 진공 열성형 해석 기법 (Methodology of Three-Dimensional Thermoforming Analysis to Simulate Forming Process of Medium and Large-Sized Plastic Parts)

  • The thermoforming process has been widely used to manufacture medium- and large-sized plastic parts because of the relatively low cost and high productivity, as compared with other plastic forming processes. One of current salient issues of thermoforming industries is the reduction of trial and error during the production of the thermoformed product. Hence, there is a significant increasing interest in the thermoforming analysis by the thermoforming industries. The goal of this paper is to investigate a methodology of the three-dimensional thermoforming analysis for medium- and large-sized plastic parts. There is a discussion about methodologies of thermoforming analysis, as well as material modeling, and three-dimensional finite element analysis. Furthermore, there is an examination, through case studies, about the applicability of the proposed methodology concerning the thermoforming analysis.

사출성형공정을 이용한 미세패턴을 갖는 플라스틱 부품 제작에 관한 연구 (A study on the Plastic Parts with Nano Pattern using Injection Molding Process)

  • 본 연구에서는 일반사출과 MmSH방식 두 가지의 사출성형공정을 이용하여 나노패턴 구조물을 제작하였다. 성형품에 나타난 나노패턴의 전사성은 MmS방식을 이용한 PC 성형품에서 가장 우수했다. 일반사출공정에서 HIPS로 제작된 성형품은 나노패턴의 전사가 잘 형성되었고, PC의 경우 전사가 잘 이루어지지 않았다 연구 결과 수지의 유동성이 좋고, 금형표면 온도가 높을수록 나노패턴의 전사성은 향상됨을 알 수 있었다.

$VLM-_{ST}$ 공정과 삼단역전 쾌속 툴링 공정을 이용한 3차원 제품 정형가공에 관한 연구 (Three-Dimensional Net Shaping Combining $VLM-_{ST}$ and the Triple Reverse Rapid Tooling)

  • The technical combination of RP and RT has a potential for rapid manufacturing of three-dimensional parts. In the present work a new RP system, $VLM-_{ST}$, is proposed to manufacture net shapes of 3D prototypes. ㅁ human head shape and a kob shape are manufactured by the $VLM-_{ST}$ apparatus. In addition, a new RT technology, which utilizes a RTV molding technique and a triple reverse process technique, is proposed to manufacture net shapes of 3D plastic parts using prototypes of $VLM-_{ST}$. A plastic part of the knob shape os produced by the proposed RT technology. The combination of the proposed RP and RT enables the manufacturing of a plastic knob within two days.
