한국 서남해안 습지의 식물 군집에 미치는 토양요인 (Soil Factors Affecting the Plant Communities of Wetland on Southwestern coast of Korea)

  • To describe the major environmental factors operating in coastal wetland and to characterize the distribution of the plant species over the wetland in relation to the major environmental gradients, 12 soil physical and chemical properties were determined. The gradient of water and osmotic potential of soil, electrical conductivity, sodium and chloride content and soil texture alsong the three habitat types of salt marshes, salt swamp and sand dune were occurred. The 24 coastal plant communities from principal component analysis (PCA) on the 12 variables were at designated as a gradient for soil texture and water potential related with salinity by Axis I and as a gradient for soil moisture and total nitrogen gradient by Axis II On Axis I were divided into 3 groups (1) 9 salt marsh communities including Salicornia herbacea communities (2) 5 salt swamp communities including Scirpus fluviatilis communities and (3) 10 sand dune communities including Jmperata cylindrica communities on Axis II were divided into 2 groups (1) salt marsh and sand dune communities, and (2) 3 salt swamp communities. The results could account for the zonation of plant communities on coastal wetland observed alsong envionmental gradients.

자연초지에서 식생구성비율에 의한 식생군락간의 유사성 (The Similarity between Plant Communities as Affected by Botanical Composition in Natural Grassland)

  • The ecological behaviour and forage value of natural grassland communities and the similarity between plant communities near Wit~enhausen in middle part of Gennany were investigated from June to August. 1993. The total number of plant communities at different place surveyed during the study period was twelve. The ecological behaviour and forage value of the natural grassland communities except mesobromion (half dry grassland community) were relatively good for roughage production. The correlation coefficients between plant eornmunilies were greatly affected by botanical composition. The clustering analysis showed that the communities of relatively similar botanical composition were grouped closely, and the other communities were clustered to the same group although the degree of similarity between communities was low.

  • Occurrence and distribution of the celluar slime molds in relation to the coastal plant communities of svven islands near inch'on wereinvestigated. as a results, total seven species were isolated from the soils of the coastal plant communities. These are dictyostelium mucoroides, polysphodylium pallidum, dictystelium polycephalum. d. mucoroides was the most commonly found in the coastal plant communities investigated, and was dominant pecularly in the coastal mixed forests, the coastal broad-leaved forests and salt marshes. In the coastal coniferous forest and the coastal dune sand plants, hoeever, p. violaceum was the dominant species. species diversity was relatively was relatively high in the coastal coniferous ferests and the coastal mixed forests. However, agerage number of species isolated from all plant communities was very low,2.8.

Changes in Endophyte Communities across the Different Plant Compartments in Response to the Rice Blast Infection

  • The rice blast disease, caused by the fungal pathogen, Magnaporthe oryzae (syn. Pyricularia oryzae), poses a significant threat to the global rice production. Understanding how this disease impacts the plant's microbial communities is crucial for gaining insights into host-pathogen interactions. In this study, we investigated the changes in communities of bacterial and fungal endophytes inhabiting different compartments in healthy and diseased plants. We found that both alpha and beta diversities of endophytic communities do not change significantly by the pathogen infection. Rather, the type of plant compartment appeared to be the main driver of endophytic community structures. Although the overall structure seemed to be consistent between healthy and diseased plants, our analysis of differentially abundant taxa revealed the specific bacterial and fungal operational taxonomic units that exhibited enrichment in the root and leaf compartments of infected plants. These findings suggest that endophyte communities are robust to the changes at the early stage of pathogen infection, and that some of endophytes enriched in infected plants might have roles in the defense against the pathogen.

해변 염생식물군집에 대한 생태학적 연구(III) 인천 간척지의 토지환경, 종의 다의성 및 염류순환에 대하여 (Ecological Studies on the Halophyte Communities at Western and Southern Coast in Korea (III) On the Soil Properties, Species Diversity and Mineral Cyclings in Reclaimed Soil in Incheon)

  • Physicochemical properties of soil, mineral cyclings, production of plants, and relationship between sodium(Na) content and progresses of plant communities were studied in a coastal salt marsh in Incheon. Contents of Na, available phosphorus(A-P) and value of electric conductivity of soil decreased in order of Salicornia herbacea, Limonium tetragonum, Phragmites communis and Zoysia sinica communities, but contents of organic matter, total nitrogen(T-N) and calcium(Ca) of soil were vice versa. Specise diversity index decreased with increase of Na content of soil with correlation coefficient of -0.82. The aboveground biomass of plant communities were 2,981 g.dw/$m^2$ in P. communis, 1,471 g.dw/$m^2$ in Z. sinica, 189g.dw/$m^2$ in S. herbacea and 71 g.dw/$m^2$ L. tetragonum, respectively. Seasonal changes of contents of inorganic nutrients per unit land area coincided with those of biomass of plant communities, however, the maximum contents of K occured earlier than the maximum biomass. Amounts of inorganic nutrients absorbed by plant were directly proportion to its biomass and it was true to reverse in restored amounts of them to soil. In turnover times of nutrients of the communities, it took the shortest time for P but the longest for Ca and P. communis community took the shortest but L. tetragonum the longest. For example, in P. communis turover time of P took one year and that of Na 1,440 years. Lack of P element, therefore, was expected in this study area.

방목초지의 식물군낙에 대한 생태적 특성과 유사성 검정에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Similarity and Ecological Characteristics of the Plant Communities in a Grazing Pasture)

  • 다양한 관리하의 방목초지 식물군낙에 대한 생태적 특성과 군락간의 유사성을 검정하고자, 1998년 8월부터 10월까지 독일의 중부지역인 Witzenhausen 근교에서 조사한 초지 식물군락을 Kassel 대학교 초지생태ㆍ사료작물연구소에서 컴퓨터 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였던 바, 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 10개 지역의 초지에서 조사한 식생을 군강(class)으로 분류한 식물군낙은 Molinio-Arrhenatheretea 초지 이었으며, 초지 식물군락의 사료가는 4.35∼6.60으로 군락에 따라 다소 차이가 있었으나 대부분 중상급 이었다. 2. 모든 군락의 주요 생활형은 Hemikryptophye 이었으며, 해할구조는 Mesomorphic이었다. 3. 식물군낙간 정의 상관은 3과 4번 군락이 가장 높았고, 8면과 10번 군락간에는 상관이 없었으며, 8면과 9번 군락간에는 아주 작은 부의 상관이 있었다. 4. 단분석의 유사성 범위는 유클러드 거리계수 0.0∼54.0이며, 평균 유사성은 38.7로서 이때 유사성이 큰 식생그룹은 (8, 7, 6), (10, 9, 5), (4, 3), (2, 1) 등 4개 군단으로 분류할 수 있으며, 9면과 10면 군낙의 유사성이 유클리드 거리계수 16.0으로 가장 높았다.

청주시 매봉산 도시림의 식생, 토양특성 및 토양미소절지동물상 분석 (The Vegetation, Soil Characteristics, and Soil Microarthropods of Maebongsan Urban Forest in Cheongju-si, Korea)

  • The study was aimed to understand the ecological status of the Maebongsan urban forest in Cheongju-si through investigating the vegetation, soil characteristics, and soil microarthropods. Phytosociological analysis for twenty plots revealed that the plant communities were classified into Pinus rigida community, Robinia pseudoacacia community, Castanea crenata community, Quercus acutissima community, Pinus strobus community, Pinus koraiensis community, and Larix kaempferi community. The importance value showed that afforestation tree species like Castanea crenata, Robinia pseudoacacia, and Pinus rigida dominate the urban forest. DBH analysis indicated that although the plant communities seem to be under the succession to Quercus forest, the dominance of Castanea crenata and Robinia pseudoacacia might still persist for several more decades. The properties of soils from the plant communities showed that loamy sand and sandy loam in soil texture, low organic matters, and severe acidification. The abundance of soil microarthropods were not different among the plant communities except Castanea crenata community and Pinus koraiensis community. The two communities showed especially low abundance of collembola and acarina. Thus, we can say that Castanea crenata community and Pinus koraiensis community seem to have been influenced strongly by anthropogenic activities.

군집분석을 이용한 방목초지 식물군락의 유사성 비교 (Comparison of the Similarity Among the Plant Communities of the Grazing Pasture by the Cluster-Analysis)

  • 방목초지 식물군학에 대한 생태적 특성을 결정하고 군집분석을 이용하여 군락간의 유사성을검정하고자, 1998년 8월부터 10월까지 독일의 중부지역인 Witzenhausen 근교에서 조사한 초지 식물군락을 Kassel 대학교 초지생태 연구소에서 컴퓨터 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 16개 지역의 초지에서 조사한 식생을 군강(Class)으로 분류한 식물군락은 대부분 Molinio-Arrhenatheretea 및 Festuco-Brometea 초지군락 이었으며, 반건조지 식물군락을 제외한 초지 식물군락의 생태적 반응과 사료가는 군락에 따라 다소 차이가 있었으나 조사료 생산에 적당하였다. 식물군락간 정의 상관은 14과 12번 군락이 가장 높았고, 7번과 9번 군락간에는 상관이 없었으며, 반건조지 식물군락은 다른 군락과 부의 상관을 나타내었다. 완전연관법에 의한 군집분석의 유사성 검정 측도는 유클러드 거리계수를 이용하는 것이 좋았으며, 식생구성이 비슷한 군락이 서로 군집을 형성하였다. 유사성이 높은 중소집단은 교란된 식물군락 (16, 15), 반건조지 초지군락 (14, 12, 11, 13), 중상급초지군락 (8, 7, 6) 중하급초지군락 (10, 9, 5), 중급 (4, 3), 상급초지군락 (2, 1) 등 6개 집단으로 분류되었다.

미소서식처 유형별 지각류 (Cladocerans)의 분포 특성 (Spatial Distribution Pattern of Cladoceran Community in Accordance with Microhabitat Types)

  • 수생식물은 지각류의 종다양성과 풍부도를 결정하는 중요한 요인이지만, 식물의 종구성이나 구조에 대한 지각류의 영향은 충분하게 고려되지 않았다. 남한은 수생식물이 피복되기 쉬운 습지나 저수지가 전국에 산재하고 있기 때문에 지각류를 포함한 생물 연구 시 수생식물에 대한 고려가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 6가지 유형의 미소서식처에서 지각류 군집의 종수와 풍부도를 조사하고, 이 결과를 기반으로 서식처 보전과 효율적인 관리에 대해 고찰하고 한다. 지각류 군집의 높은 종수와 풍부도는 부유식물, 부엽식물, 그리고 침수식물이 함께 구성된 혼합된 식물 군락에서 목격되었다. 식물 군락에서 침수식물의 포함은 서식처 구조의 복잡성에 크게 기여하며, 지각류 군집의 종수와 풍부도를 증가시킬 수 있다. 이는 침수식물이 부재한 부유 및 부엽식물로만 구성된 식물 군락과 비교함으로서 침수식물의 효율성을 파악할 수 있다. 혼합된 식물 군락에서는 다른 식물 군락에 부재하는 지각류 종 (Graptoleveris testudinaria, Ilyocryptus spinifer, Leydigia acanthocercoides)이 출현함으로서 종다양성이 가장 높았다. 혼합된 식물 군락에서 침수식물의 점차적인 생물량 (g) 증가는 지각류 군집의 종수와 풍부도를 유의하게 증가시켰다 (p<0.05). 이는 혼합된 식물 군락에서 침수식물의 증가가 지각류의 서식처로서 효율성에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 강력한 증거이다. 비록 침수식물은 수중에 침수되어 서식하기 때문에 경관적/미적인 가치에 크게 기여하지 않지만, 생물학적 측면에서 종다양성을 증가시키는 효과를 가지기 때문에 습지 창출/복원 시 중요하게 고려되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.

군산시 월명공원 식물군락 복원 및 생태적 경관조성에 관한 연구 (Plant community restoration and make a ecological landscape for a Wolmyong park in Kunsan city)

  • The flora of Kunsan Wolmyong park was 77 families, 168 genera, 240 species, 2 subspecies, 35 varieties, 1 formae or 278taxa. Using the Phytosociology method, 12 plant communities were recognized ; Alnus japonica, Pinus densiflora, Pinus thunbergii, Pinus rigida, Castanea crenata, Quercus acutissima, Robinia pseudo-acacia, Alnus hirsuta, Quercus serrata, Aluns firma, Liriope platyphylla and Reynoutria communities. Similarity between different communities was low for most of the cases except for Pinus densiflora, Pinus Thunbergii and Pinus rigida communities kept comparely high with ond another. Species diversity was analyzed by species richness(SR), species diversity index(H') and evenness(J'). Castanea crenata, Robinia pseudo-acacia and Alnus firma communities were higher in SR, H' than the other communities. But Pinus rigida, Quercus acutissima and castanea crenata communities were higher in evenness than the other communities. To investigate the plant community structure and to establish restoration counter plan of a Wolmyeng Park in Kunsan City. As a remedial approach, following is propesed. first, Establishment of an adequate planting plan and development of slope stalilization method by planting native species. second, Sellection of adequate species by planting experiments for pioneer species, native species, and dietary species. third, Landscape planting zones should be managed artificially, the others be managed with ecological approach.
