통행시간 신뢰성 지표 개발 및 산정에 관한 연구 (A Measure for Travel Time Reliability)

  • 통행시간 신뢰성은 통행자가 예측하기 힘든 통행시간의 변동을 설명하는 개념이다. 본 연구는 통행시간 신뢰성을 측정할 수 있는 지표를 개발하고, 국내 도로 및 철도 이용 실적자료를 바탕으로 통행시간 신뢰성 지표 원단위를 산정한다. 통행시간 신뢰성 측정 지표로 수정형 완충시간 지표를 제안하며, 신뢰성/비신뢰성의 임계점으로는 로그정규 통행시간분포를 기반으로 한 계획 통행시간과 실제 통행시간의 차이를 측정한다. 이를 통해 철도는 상수형 도로는 음의 포물선형 통행시간 신뢰성 지표함수를 개발한다. 본 연구의 결과가 도로 및 철도 투자사업의 신중한 의사결정에 일조할 수 있기를 기대한다.

국립공원 방문의 제한요소 및 타협전략 (Constraints and Negotiation Strategies of National Park Visitors)

  • This study applied the leisure constraints and negotiation concept to the travel context, especially for traveling in national parks. More specifically, it tries to identify how constraints and negotiation impact a person's travel behavior. The population of this study is the people who intend to visit the national parks for their summer vacations. The data was collected through the panel study, which surveyed the same set of people before and after their trip. Among 527 samples, 39.7% traveled what they planned without any changes. 24.7% did not travel or postponed their trip, and 35.7% enjoyed their vacation but with changes of destination, time or travel periods. These results support that people may use negotiation strategies to overcome their constraints in a travel context. However, there were no statistically significant differences in the impact of constraints on travel behavior among the three groups. The results also confirm that people have to overcome intra-, inter-, and structural constraints for visiting the national parks. Thus, the findings of the study suggest that the concepts of leisure constraints and negotiation is applicable to the travel contexts. Because of its exploratory characteristics, several limitations and cautions were raised.

Path planning for autonomous lawn mower tractor

  • Path planning is an essential part for traveling and mowing of autonomous lawn mower tractors. Objectives of the paper were to analyze operation patterns by a skilled farmer, to extract and optimize waypoints, and to demonstrate generation of formatted planned path for autonomous lawn mower tractors. A 27-HP mower tractor was operated by a skilled farmer on grass fields. To measure tractor travel and operation characteristics, an RTK-GPS antenna with a 6-cm RMS error, an inertia motion sensing unit, a gyro compass, a wheel angle sensor, and a mower on/off sensor were mounted on the mower tractor, and all the data were collected at a 10-Hz rate. All the sensor data were transferred through a software program to show the status immediately on the notebook. Planned path was generated using the program parameter settings, mileage and time calculations, and the travel path was plotted using developed software. Based on the human operation patterns, path planning algorithm was suggested for autonomous mower tractor. Finally path generation was demonstrated in a formatted file and graphic display. After optimizing the path planning, a decrease in distance about 13% and saving of the working time about 30% was achieved. Field test data showed some overlap, especially in the turning areas. Results of the study would be useful to implement an autonomous mower tractor, but further research needs to improve the performance.

실시간 운영체제에서 관절 공간 궤적 생성 (Joint Space Trajectory Planning on RTOS)

  • 본 논문은 두 바퀴 이동로봇의 주행에 있어서 주어진 경로를 물리적 제한을 만족하면서 주행하는 관절 공간 궤적 생성방법을 실시간 운영체제를 이용하여 구현함으로써 실시간 제어 방법에 대하여 연구하였다. 경로계획에서 이동로봇의 방향을 고려하기 위하여 베지어곡선을 이용하였으며, 컨볼루션 연산자를 이용하여 로봇의 두 바퀴의 속도의 제한을 만족시켰다. 관절 공간의 궤적 생성과 생성된 궤적에 대한 속도명령, 그리고 엔코더 값 감시 등 실시간 태스크를 주기적 태스크로 구현하였으며 동기화를 위하여 실시간 메커니즘인 이벤트 플래그를 이용하여 구현하였다. 실제 로봇에 실시간 태스크를 구현하여 속도명령의 실시간성과 이에 따른 이동로봇의 주행실험 결과를 이용하여 궤적 추종 성능을 비실시간 시스템과 분석하였다. 결과를 통하여 실시간 성을 요구하는 제어시스템에서 실시간 다중 태스크 시스템의 유용성을 검증하였다.

환경이동혼잡조건을 고려한 자율무인잠수정의 이동경로생성 방법 (Path Planning Method for an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle With Environmental Movement Congestions)

  • In order to make the underwater vehicle carry out the mission in a submarine environment, it is needed to plan a safe and efficient route to a given destination and prevent the autonomous submersible from colliding with obstacles while moving along the planned route. The function of collision avoidance makes the travel distance of the autonomous submersible longer. Moreover, it should move slowly near to obstacles against their moving disturbance. As a result, this invokes the degradation of the navigation efficiency in the process of collision avoidance. The side effect of the collision avoidance is not ignorable in the case of high congested environments such as the coast with many obstacles. In this paper, we suggest a path planning method which provides the route with minimum travel time considering collision avoidance in congested environment. For the purpose, we define environmental congestion map related to geometric information and obstacles. And we propose a method to consider the moving cost in the RRT scheme that provides the existing minimum distance path. We verified that the efficiency of our algorithm with simulation experiments.

  • It is necessary that UGV(Unmanned Ground Vehicle) should generate a real-time travesability index map by analyzing raw terrain information to travel autonomously tough terrain which has various slope and roughness values. In this paper, we propose a local path planning method, $MA^*$(Modified $A^*$) algorithm, using DVGM (Directional Velocity Grid Map) for unmanned ground vehicle. We also present a path optimization algorithm and a path smoothing algorithm which regenerate a pre-planned local path by $MA^*$ algorithm into the reasonable local path considering the mobility of UGV. Field test is conducted with UGV in order to verify the performance of local path planning method using DVGM. The local path planned by $MA^*$ is compared with the result of $A^*$ to verify the safety and optimality of proposed algorithm.

  • This paper introduces urban air mobility (UAM) and the definition and types of vertiports required for UAM operations. It also examines domestic policy trends related to UAM and identifies UAM routes in Seoul currently planned by the government. To do so, we reviewed prior research on vertiports, analyzed new regulations from the European Aviation Safety Agency, and studied domestic vertiport specifications and deployment plans for UAM operations based on the size of the S-A1 airframe being developed by Hyundai, and applied them to Samsung Station, the core area of the demonstration routes. Next, using the 'Travel Time Savings Ratio', a method for evaluating transportation economics, we compared and analyzed the time taken by passenger vehicles and the time saved by using UAMs to derive a highly economical demonstration route. As a result, the Samsung Station↔Cheongnyangri Station section was found to be the most efficient. These findings are expected to be utilized for adjusting the distribution of UAMs when operating the demonstration route in the future.

다항로짓모형을 이용한 지역간 철도통행 연구 (Multinomial Logit Modeling: Focus on Regional Rail Trips)

  • 지역간 철도통행은 열차종별로, 요일별로 또는 거리구간대별로 다양한 특성을 가지고 있으며, 각 구간별로 제공되는 교통 서비스나 경쟁요인에 따라 이용수요에 차이를 보이게 된다 따라서 지역간 철도내부의 서비스 및 경쟁요인의 변화는 결과적으로 차종별 분담률에 영향을 주는 요인이 된다 본 연구에서는 지역간 철도통행에서 역간 수요의 차종별 분담률에 영향을 주는 요인으로서 열차운영계획과 밀접한 관련이 있는 빈도, 차내 시간 그리고 운임변수를 고려하여 다항로짓모형을 추정하고, 모형을 이용한 예측치와 실제 통행량을 비교함으로써 모형의 적정성을 검토해 보았다. 지역간 철도에서 역간 수요의 차종별 분담률은 빈도와 차내 시간이 차종선택에 중요한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었으며 열차운영계획의 매우 중요한 고려대상임을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 일반적으로 철도수요가 요일별 특성이 뚜렷하지만 역간 수요의 차종별 분담률은 요일별 특성을 보이지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 효율적인 열차운영계획의 수립과 철도서비스 구축을 위한 기반을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대되며, 다양한 전략적 정책적 해석이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

  • 인천국제공항이 동북아 허브 공항으로서 성공하려면 동 공항을 중심으로 한 비행편 구성이 경쟁 공항보다 효율적이어야 한다. 본 논문은 항공여행자의 비행편 선택 행위를 분석하여 인천국제공항 허브화 성공을 위한 비행편 구성 계획에 이용하는 방법을 연구했다. 규제가 완화된 시장에서는 소비자의 선호 파악에 기초한 사업 계획이 유효하므로 비집계형 선택모델에서 산출할 수 있는 여행시간가치, 운항빈도와 여행시간의 대체율 등을 이용하여 비행편 구성 계획을 할 필요가 있을 것이다.

명시선호(Stated Preference) 방법에 의한 인천남외항 컨테이너 물동량 추정 (Estimating Container Traffic of New Incheon Outer-South Port Using Stated Preference Methodology)

  • Traditional traffic forecast has employed regression analysis or time-series analysis based on past trends of explanatory variables. However, not existing but planned port facilities do not have historical data for traffic estimation. Consequently, arbitrary traffic allocation has been subject to researcher's intuition. In this paper, container throughput at New Incheon Outer-South Port will be estimated using stated preference(SP) and sample enumeration methodology on the basis of survey data about the choice behaviors of port users in a theoretical situation. In the SP survey, shippers, freight forwarders and carriers were required to answer a choice between two alternative ports: Busan and Incheon. Although total 27 scenarios of questionnaires were constructed with 3 levels of 3 explanatory variables, each interviewee was asked to answer for just 9 scenarios chosen at random. A binary choice logit model was applied to the survey data. The elasticity of travel time is estimated to be very high, implying that building New Incheon Outer-South Port could be effective in relieving the congestion of the Kyungin corridor. The analysis result shows that increasing service level at Incheon Port would bring in the substantial diversion of container cargo in the Capital region to Incheon Port from Busan Port.
