  • Many alternatives on the residential open building have been researched for corresponding high flexibility and possibility of remodeling in Korea as well. However, existing researches only dealt with two-dimensional floor plan. All buildings as well as apartment housing must have been examined various spatial aspect, three-dimensional not two-dimensional. It will examine basic method of three-dimensional flexible unit system to add to three-dimensional usage method overcoming these limitations. The purpose of this study is to propose the system of three-dimensional residential open building in Korea after examining possibility of flexibility of residential open building in 1.5 times of existing floor height.

  • In this paper, while electric multiple unit is moving on the rail, the content of measuring and analysing electric power consumption is mentioned. In order to measure the electric power consumption, we developed the power record analysis equipment and installed it the inside of the converter and inverter system to record the electric power consumption measured by voltage sensor and current sensor. Moving on the rail, we analysed traction power used up and regenerative power by using the measuring instrument. We expect that the measured and analysed data will offer basic research material to devise a energy reduction plan and introduce a new EMU system with high efficiency.

  • Recently, central and local governments of Korea have established and implemented various energy policies such as making energy map of city level and establishment of environment friendly city plan to materialize low carbon green city. To implement effectively these policies, however, conditions of energy consumption by each administrative district and each usage have to be verified exactly. This study is aimed to suggest a basic data for planing energy policy and energy demand prediction of city level by analyzing energy consumption unit and conditions of city gas by borough and usage in Busan.

  • It is important to analyze the status of water quality with relation to the stream flow to attain water quality goal more effectively in the unit watersheds for the management of Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs). This study developed a flow duration-water quality distribution graph to figure out water quality appearances on the flow variation and analyzed contributions of water quality observations to the impaired water bodies quantitatively by hydrologic conditions. Factors relating to water quality variation can be analyzed more precisely and assessed on the base of quantified contributions. It is considered that this approach could be utilized to establish a more effective plan for the water quality improvement including the prioritization of pollution reduction options.

군대급식 취사장 운영 현황 조사 (Investigation of Military Foodservice Operation)

  • The present study attempted to investigate the military foodservice operation by conducting survey to foodservice managers. Surveys for managers of military foodservice operations were conducted in November, 2008 by visiting Consolidated Army Logistics School located in Daejeon during the time of training. Surveys for military foodservice officers and dietitian were sent by mail. The questionnaire was composed of the questions asking the general operation of military canteen, the self-concious specialty of military foodservice, and the needs assigning dietitian to each military unit. From the results of this study, it came up with the needs to draw up the plan to improve the foodservice specialty of canteen managers. One of the solution would assign dietitian to each military foodservice unit. Also, the facilities need to be equipped for various way of cooking to improve the satisfaction of soldiers. The results of this study would provide the data for making policy as well as arose academic interest to military foodservice.

  • Currently energy use planning council system is mandatory especially for the urban development project planned on a specified scale or more. The goal of existing demand prediction was to calculate the maximum load by multiplying energy load per unit area by building size. The result of this method may be exaggerated and has a limit in the information of period load. The paper suggests a new forecasting process based on standard unit household in order to upgrade the limit in demand prediction method of multi-family housing complex. The new process was verified by comparing actual using amount of multi-family housing complex to forecasting value of energy use plan.

동슬래그 혼합 잔골재를 이용한 콘크리트의 물리적 특성 (Physical Properties of Concrete mixed with Fine Sand and Copper Slag)

  • Development of the construction industry generally exhausts natural aggregate. Hence it is problem to the lack of supply and quality deterioration, so the resource saving and protection of environment is made an effort through recycling by-product. This study presents that fundamental properties of concrete which used cooper slag as alternate sand of low fineness modulus and plan of cooper slag as concrete aggregate. Testing factors are concrete's slump, air contents, unit weight and compressive strength. The results of this study are as follows; (1) Concrete slump is generally satisfied with the condition but is inferior to the others in substitution rates 30%. Also air contents are 3.1-4.1% and go up according to increase substitution rate. (2) Unit weight increase in 1.1% as the mixing ratio of cooper slag argument 10%. (3) compressive strength of cooper slag concrete is similar to plain and especially higher 11-15% in W/C 45%, 50%. So it seems that aggregate mixed cooper slag is suitable to low water-cement ratio mixture.

  • 컴퓨터 전략 시뮬레이션 게임 설계에서는 Master ADU(Artificial Decision Unit)의 전략 수립을 위한 방법으로 다양한 기법들이 연구되고 있다. 특히 한정된 자원 하에서 게임을 사실적이고 지적인 기능을 구현하기 위해 치팅(Cheating)을 활용하거나 간단한 인공지능 기법이 적용되고 있다. 하지만 이 기법들은 사용자 적응성 및 전략 수립의 단순성을 야기하는 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전략 시뮬레이션 게임의 전략 수립 에이전트인 Master ADU(Artificial Decision Unit)를 위하여 셀룰라 오토마타의 초기 규칙 생성에 유전자 알고리즘의 교배 및 돌연변이, 적합도 평가를 거친 유전자 형을 적용한 혼합형 전략 수립 기법을 제안한다 이 기법은 ADU가 적합한 유전자 형을 생산 및 선택하여 사용자에 대해 적극적으로 학습할 수 있었다.

  • Landuse information is used to plan land use, urban and environmental management as base data. And, demand for landuse information is rising due to ecological consideration in urban area. But existing method to extract landuse information from aerial photographs or satellite images is difficulte to describe sufficient urban landuses. Also landuse information need to be linked with statistical data because statistical data is used to make decision for urban planning and management with landuse. Therefore this study aims to examine the landuse classification method using statistical unit data and 1:1,000 digital topographic data. for the purpose, the method was applied to a part of metropolitan Seoul. The results of study shows that total accuracy is 95%. For the future, the method will be effectively applicable for the city maintenance.

  • In order to establish active and effective recycling plans on construction wastes, the study seeks to built unit generation data per construction waste types on each sector, prepare units data on urban construction waste generation and serve as meaningful data on the establishment of policies on construction waste recycling targeting urban regions. The significance of the study is on the establishment of construction waste recycling plan prior to generation, not as complementary measures on construction waste generated.
