For the color of the floor, results showed that the calm tone of YR was mostly distributed. Secondly, for the favored colors of finishing materials in each space, the greatest distribution of preference color was found to be the N (white) group (series) in the case of ceilings, For general walls, the bright tone of the N (white) group was the most common in living rooms, and the bright tone of RP was used mostly in couples' rooms and girls' rooms. The bright tone of B and PB were found mostly in boys' bedrooms. In the case of the floor color, results showed the largest distribution was the calm tone of YR. • Korean traditionally prefer a house with a southern exposure to other styles. Moreover, pretty part of dwelling style in Korea is apartment building. But generally, there are much more north oriented rooms than opposite one in apartment. Generally, most Korean tends to consider the direction of the room as an important factor to decide the arrangement of their furniture. Also, the location of window, door, bed, and closet can affect on the decision-making process of furniture layout. So, the closet position should be determined by not only window direction and door position, but also the furniture arrangement preference of residents. After considering the window and door position, there are 16 alternatives in a room. (Multiplied 4 window directions by 4 door positions under the assumption that the window and the door cannot be on the same side of the wall.) Also, this study analyzed each room style ratio considering the symmetry of each plan by comparing the apartment building plan. This paper studied the bedroom style by analyzing the 180 apartment building plans and survey of furniture layout; the furniture in this study represents bed and desk those are mainly laid in Korean bedroom. Finally, this paper suggested the methodology to find optimal alternatives of furniture and closet layout for high-rise apartment residents, based on the door and window position, and the furniture layout preference of residents.

  • Nowadays, many educational facilities are being renovated. However, due to the absence of a system for post renovation of educational spaces, users are less satisfied with the spaces after the renovation and there is a limit in establishing future directions for improving educational space renovation. From this point of view, this study was conducted to increase the users' satisfaction in renovation space planning of educational spaces and to establish a system for management after renovation. As a specific research method, the space preference of students was used to evaluate the space after renovation. By researching the opinions of the students who use the most educational space, not only the direction of the renovation plan of the future educational space can be given but also the user's opinion can be reflected in the spatial plan in detail. In terms of management of future educational spaces, this study can be used as a basic study for developing post evaluation indicators for renovation of educational facilities.

According to the results, preference for grape foods of subjects was that rice wrapped in grape leaves ($2.14{\pm}0.7$) and sweet steamed rice($2.12{\pm}0.8$) were the highest among staple food; grape vinegar($2.38{\pm}0.7$) and grape taffy($2.25{\pm}0.7$) were the highest among spices; grape jelly ($2.53{\pm}0.6$) and grape pudding($2.45{\pm}0.7$) were the highest among snacks; grape juice ($2.70{\pm}0.5$) and grape yogurt($2.59{\pm}0.6$) were the highest among beverages. Subjects responded to the fruit group among food groups harmonized with grape foods(p<0.01). 50.7% of subjects responded to "have to be delicious" and 25.1% of subjects responded to "nutritional balance" as the most important aspects of the development of grape foods. In the popularization and commercialization plan of grape foods, Subjects chose with respected importance, personal preference($4.15{\pm}0.8$), price($4.05{\pm}0.8$) and promotional strategy($4.00{\pm}0.9$). Cluster analysis was employed to identify groups of respondents based on the five delineated measure items. Based on the findings, three distinct groups were formed: thin, normal, and obese. The result of this study showed statistically significant differences among the three groups in terms of style, textile, and color of clothing, as well as in terms of demographic characteristics. • The purpose of this study is to extract landscape design elements regulation of the District Unit Plan(DUP) in new town areas, and to find out characteristics in terms of urban design elements in comparison with the psychological and physical aspects. For this purpose, we reviewed urban design elements and design elements in terms of the landscape by DUP and analyzed the activation of landscape on the selected case-area by interviewing experts such as planners, public officials, and professors in the department of urban planning and landscape, as well as the university students. The analysis framework for the case-study consists of 4 components: the section of region, street, building, open space, etc. The new development areas in Daejeon Metropolitan City was chosen as the case study area, because they have been developed by DUP regulations. As a result of this study, we can extract characteristics of landscape. The results indicate that `skyline design',`view corridor design',`landscape design',`street furniture design' and `building design(form, height, color, and elevation)' are the key planning and design factors influencing differences in the landscape preference. This research identifies that there are no detailed planning and design guidelines adopted within the four case study areas in Daejeon for regulating the characteristics of skyline, planting and street furniture while detailed guidelines established for density, building height and site layout. Considering their significant correlation with the level of landscape preference, this study suggests that detailed planning and design guidelines for the characteristics of skyline, rooftop and streetscape should be established in future DUP.

  • This study presents a greening plan for the under space of elevated rail tracks to reducing landscape impairment and improve the streetscape. This study focuses on a section of the Daegu Metro line number 3 that includes a concentration of high-rise apartments and commercial areas. First, different types of planting were categorized for the under space of the elevated rail track, and then images of each planting type were created using a 3D simulation tool to evaluate the visual characteristics. The landscape images and related adjectives were assessed using a survey. As a result, rows of flower trees received the highest evaluation, and 'harmony' was identified as the most important factor affecting the railscape preference. These results can be important data for establishing an efficient greening plan for the under space of elevated rail tracks.
