확률적으로 종속적인 비평형 다단계 샘플링검사법의 설계 및 평가 (Design and Estimation of Multiple Acceptance Sampling Plans for Stochastically Dependent Nonstationary Processes)

  • In this paper, a design and estimation procedure for the stochastically dependent nonstationary multiple acceptance sampling plans is developed. At first, the rough-cut acceptance and rejection numbers are given as an initial solution from the corresponding sequential sampling plan. A Monte-Carlo algorithm is used to find the acceptance and rejection probabilities of a lot. The conditional probability formula for a sample path is found. The acceptance and rejection probabilities are found when a decision boundary is given. Several decision criteria and the design procedure to select optimal plans are suggested. The formula for measuring performance of these sampling plans is developed. Type I and II error probabilities are also estimated. As a special case, by setting the stage size as 1 in a dependent sampling plan, a sequential sampling plan satisfying type I and II error probabilities is more accurate and a smaller average sample number can be found. In a numerical example, a Polya dependent process is examined. The sampling performances are shown to compare the selection scheme and the effect of the change of the dependency factor.

A Support System for Design and Routing Plan

  • In this paper, we demonstrate the implementation case using component based development tool under development process for application developments. The tool suggested provides the programming environment for the development of distributed manufacturing applications primarily. The development tool is classified into visual component, logic component, data component, knowledge component, neural net component, and service component which is a core component for the support component edit and execution. We applied the tool to the domain of the design and routing plan to retrieve existing similar design models in database, initiate a model, generate a process plan, and store the new model in the database automatically. Utilizing the tool, it integrates a geometric modeler, engineering/manufacturing database, and knowledge sources over the Internet.

가속수명시험의 최적 설계 (A Study on Optimal Design of Accelerated Life Tests)

  • This paper suggests an approach for using ALTA 7 PRO to design accelerated life test plans. Conducting a accelerated life test requires finding life distributions at different stress levels and determining an appropriate life-stress relationship. Moreover, a test plan needs to be developed. In its optimal test plan, stress levels are determined and the proportions of test units are assigned at each stress level so that asymptotic variance of the maximum likelihood estimate of a (log) percentile of the life distribution at the design stress is minimized. Examples are presented for usage.

  • Purpose: This paper aimis to analyze the characteristics of ward plan of Korean hospital architecture constructed in each periods and identify the change since 1945. Methods: Literature review was conducted while ward plans for analysis were sellected. And then the important points of ward design were analyzed in each periods. Results: The important points of ward design - type of corridor in ward plan, number of beds per nursing unit, location of nurse station, organization of multi-bed rooms, location of patient toilet, number of day room, concentration and separation of elevator halls for patient and general- were analyzed and the characteristics of change were identified in each periods. Implications: This paper could be a basic data for arranging the history of hospital architecture in Korea.

  • Youth Culture Center is a space only for adolescents, where they can experience a wide range of educational and cultural activities. Through the case study of existing several youth culture centers, we find problems and show that a new-planned space is the most suitable for adolescents' traits and youth culture center's program operation. Consequently, a new Interior plan will provide adolescents with the place 'by youth' and 'for youth' Adolescents' traits must be accepted and their culture also must be respected. Constructing youth culture center's space properly and arranging it functionally enables 'to overcome the limit to a small space. Youth culture center is to be designed to symbolize adolescents' cultural feelings. On the basis of the conclusion, a specific interior design plan is given as follows.

  • Throughout the modernization which was dominated by development theory in Korea, land use planning for housing tended to spoil the environment. Numerous studies, however, pointed out the problem of this development-led planning and there was a broader consensus that the past planning was part of the environmental problem of inner city. These observations changed the development-led planning into the environmental friendly development planning. In particular, Seoul Metropolitan Government held the international planning competition to develop 'Sangam' as an environment friendly residential area. With this plan 'Sangam' would be the sustainable residential area with the harmony of nature, human and technology. Furthermore it would be the outset of the long-term plan to develop 'Seoul' as a 'gate-city, an 'information-city' and an 'eco-city'. To do this, it needs especially the planners' and the constructors' constant concerns and efforts as well as the citizen's participation.

  • This study has the purpose to examine the elements of deducing site plan of contemporary architecture in Jeju by looking into the mainly used measures and value in establishing the site plan of contemporary architecture of Jeju. Being the initial decision making stage that serves as basis in creating design alternative and completes overall designing alternative frame, Site plan is the core stage of initial architectural planning. In addition, analysis of site plan concept the central overall idea for site plan offers the perspective to access the problem for solution in site plan. Therefore, through the analysis of elements to deduce the site plan concept of the contemporary architecture in Jeju, the characteristics of site plan concept that considered the placement and locality of Jeju can be objectively examined in planning out the site plan of contemporary architecture in Jeju, and such analysis results may become objective basic data in planning out the site plan of the contemporary architecture in Jeju.

오송 생명과학단지 조경설계 (Landscape Design of Osong Biohealth Technopolis Institute)

  • This landscape design proposal was presented to a design competition for Osong Biohealth Technopolis Institute of Cheongwon Gun Chung Cheong Buk Do which was held by Ministry of Health and Welfare in March 2004. The site is located in. Osong Li, Kang Wei Myun, Cheonwon Gun, Chung Cheong Buk Do and has an area of $402,600m^2$. The judging criteria for landscape design set by the client could be articulated as follows: an environment friendly design respecting the surrounding environment, a functionally efficient site plan by clustering buildings with similar uses, a site plan having 'front yard' by locating buildings in rear areas toward existing 'groves'. The proposal set the main design concept of this project as 'clustering'. By doing that, existing grades and plants can be saved, buildings with similar uses can be clustered, huge 'front yard' as a symbolic image of this project can be achieved, and finally many small open spaces for everyday life can be designed accordingly.

최소 실험계획법을 이용한 기구의 최적설계 (Optimal Design of Mechanisms Using a Least Experimental Plan Method)

  • Use of computers in design is a trend in recent years. Mechanism design also uses computers extensively and the concept of optimal mechanism design is developed in many ways. Various authors presented methods based on sensitivity analysis but in these cases, the governing equation of the mechanism has to be derived and calculations become very complicated. In this papers, a method based on the least experimental plan is presented. To make a model of a mechanism, a general purpose mechanism analysis program is used. To obtain an optimal design of a mechanism, the relationship between design variables and the objective function is represented as the nonlinear equation. Optimal design variables are found by solving this derived equation and its result is verified. An example is presented to show the effectiveness of this method.

브랜드 커피 전문점의 마케팅 전략에 영향을 주는 공간 디자인 요소에 관한 연구 (A Study on Space Design Element Affecting the Marketing Strategies of Local Coffee Shop Chains)

  • The aim of study is examining the marketing strategies and analyzes space design which is reflected marketing strategy and design elements by coffee shop chains. For the purpose, field survey and the questionnaire survey are conducted in coffee shop chains in Myeong-dong in Seoul. The results of the questionnaire survey are analyzed through SPSS 18.0 program and these results compare with the field survey. The result of analysis were as follows; 1) The company have to plan the coffee shop chains which were reflected by consumer opinion. 2) The coffee shop chains have to plan independent atmosphere space for take out consumers. 3) The coffee shop chains have to consider suitable design elements according to condition of lease, an area and position. 4) The coffee shop chains have to have design marketing strategies which were reflected by space, furniture, color and lighting. 5) Companies should communicate with consumers actively.
