  • In this paper, a new method for determining the order of AR, ARMA processes based on PLS (predictive least square) principle is proposed, This method using modified lattice algorithm which has additional step is amenable to on-line or adaptive operation and is more accurate than any other mpthod. Some computer simulations are presented to show the efficiency of the proposed algorithms.

  • Real-time database systems (RTDBS) are database systems whose transactions are associated with timing constraints such as deadlines. Therefore transaction needs to be completed by a certain deadline. Besides meeting timing constraints, a RTDBS needs to observe data consistency constraints as well. That is to say, unlike a conventional database system, whose main objective is to provide fast average response time, RTDBS may be evaluated based on how often transactions miss their deadline, the average lateness or tardiness of late transactions, the cost incurred in transactions missing their deadlines. Therefore, in RTDBS, transactions should be scheduled according to their criticalness and tightness of their deadlines, even If this means sacrificing fairness and system throughput, And It always must guarantee preceding process of the transaction with the higher priority. In this paper, we propose an efficient real-time scheduling algorithm (Multi-level EFDF) that alleviates problems of the existing real-time scheduling algorithms, a real-time concurrency control algorithm(2PL-FT) for firm and soft real-time transactions. And we compare the proposed 2PL F[ with AVCC in terms of the restarting ratio and the deadline missing ratio of transactions. We show through experiments that our algorithms achieve good performance over the other existing methods proposed earlier.

  • PID(Proportional-Integral-Derivative)제어기는 제어악고리즘의 단순성과 실 현장에서의 강인성 등으로 산업용 보일러의 제어시스템서 주로 이용되어 왔다. 그러나 다중 루프를 가진 보일러 시스템에서는 루프간의 상호 간섭 영향 등으로 부하 변화에 따라 요구되는 증기(steam)압력, 증기 유량(steam flow)변화 등을 동시에 만족하도록 급수 유량, 연교 유량, 공기 유량 등을 PlH제어기만으로 제어하는 것은 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 보일러 시스템의 다목적 성능 최적화에 각각의 적합도 함수 $f_{a}$ , $f_{b}$, $f_{c}$를 정의하고 면역 알고리즘을 이용해 최적화를 구하고 그 결과에 대한 특성과 유효성을 검토하였다.다.다.

  • This paper describes realization of digital filter using $\mu$p controler and discusses measured characteristics of this filter, The idea of P. L. implementation[1] is used in realization, and in this system we utilize a DMA and arithmatic control program of $\mu$p. In this way, we can get more flexible capability than the basic PL method, and higher speed than a filter using general purpose $\mu$p in hardware, Furthermore, we get a 15 KHz sampling frequency(fs) as speed limit in real time processing, and know that this limitation is restricted by execution time (58$\mu$ sec) of DMA control statement. As for filter charateristics, maximum stop band frequencies (fsp) are 1665 Hz, 1445 Hz in Butterworth and Tchebichef approximation, respectively, when fs = 14 KHz. Measured errors between the design specification and the actual result are 0.2dB, 0.1 dB in pass band (when cufoff frequency is 500Hz),-1.1dB (when fsp is 1000Hz), 0.4dB(when fsp is 750 Hz) in stop band frequency of Butterworth and Tchebichef, respectively.

  • Conventionally in the industrial control, PlD controller has been used because of its robustness, and nonlinear characteristic of a system under control. Although the PlD controller produce suitable parameter of the each system and also variable of PlD controller should be changed according to environment, disturbance, load. In this paper, the convergence and learning accuracy of the back-propagation(BP) method in neural network are investigated by analyzing the reason for decelerating the convergence of BP method. and examining the rapid deceleration of the convergence when the learning is executed on the part of sigmoid activation function with the very small first derivative. The modified logistic activation function it proposed by defining the convergence factor based on the analysis and applied to the position and speed control of a DC-servo motor. This paper revealed for experimental, a neural network and a PD controller combined off-line system using developed the position and speed characteristics of a DC-servo motor.

  • 본 논문은 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널(PDP) 전원공급 장치로 사용되는 DC-DC 컨버터의 동적 응답특성을 향상 시킬 수 있는 새로운 디지털 제어 알고리즘을 서술한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 PDP에 영상을 표시하기 위한 영상 입력신호와 구동회로의 유지방전 파형의 제어를 위한 신호를 이용하여 부하전류의 변화량과 시점을 예측한다. 별도의 추가적인 전류센서를 사용하지 않고 예측된 부하전류 정보는 일반적인 디지털 전압 제어기에 피드포$\sim$워드 형태로 추가되어 적용된다. 제안된 알고리즘은 디지털 Pl 전압 제어기만을 사용한 경우에 비해 부하전류가 급격히 변동할 때 좀 더 빠른 응답특성과 낮은 출력전압 변동 특성을 보인다. 제안된 알고리즘은 FPGA를 사용하여 구현 되었으며, Buck 컨버터를 사용하여 기본 동작을 검증하였다.

  • The bacterial soft-rot disease is one of the most critical diseases in vegetables such as Chinese cabbage. The researchers isolated two bacteria (Pseudomonas kribbensis and Pantoea vagans) from diseased tissue samples of Chinese cabbages and confirmed them as being the strains that cause soft-rot disease. Lactic-acid bacteria (LAB), were screened and used to control soft-rot disease bacteria. The researchers tested the treatments with hypochlorous acid water (HAW) and LAB supernatant to control soft-rot disease bacteria. The tests confirmed that treatments with the HAW (over 120 ppm) or LAB (Lactobacillus plantarum PL203) culture supernatants (0.5 mL) completely controlled both P. kribbensis and P. vagans.

  • This paper proposed a feed-forward adaptive position controller that is robust for variable Inertia. The control system consists of PI Position controller, feed-forward and model reference adaptive control. A parameter g(t) of the feed-forward adaptive position controller is adapted by using both the reference model speed and position error. So it improves the transient response and reduces the settling time. And normalization function Is used to make linear adaptation time. The validity of the feed-forward adaptive controller is confirmed by simulation results.

Nonlinear Numerical Analysis for Shear Dominant RC Columns Subjected to Lateral Force (전단거동이 우세한 기둥의 비선형 해석에 관한 연구)

  • Because of crack control by steel bars after cracking the material models for reinforced concrete(RC) differ from those for plain concrete(PL). The nonlinear behavior of columns subjected to lateral load was simulated with reasonable accuracy in 3D analysis by applying distinct material models for RC and PL zone subdivided properly on the section. The shear strain is confirmed to develope unstably with ununiform distribution in out-of-plane direction. And this tendency becomes stronger as the thickness of column member increases in out-of-plane direction. If this ununiformity in strain distribution is not taken into consideration the capacity and the deformability of columns in shear dominant failure are overestimated excessively in two dimensional analysis. By introducing equivalent softening model a behavior of columns can be predicted too in two dimensional analysis.

Improvement of Dynamic Response Characteristics of Parallel PWM Converters Using Fuzzy Logic Controller (퍼지 제어기를 이용한 병렬 PWM 컨버터의 과도응답특성 개선)

  • In this paper, a fuzzy logic controller(FLC) for parallel operation system of PWM converters with high performances is proposed and a PI controller is also realized to compare with the performances of the proposed FLC. The simulation and experimental results show that performances of the proposed FLC are far more excellent compared with those of PI controller, especially in points of DC voltage transient response characteristics and current control transient response characteristics at step increase of rated load. To verify the superiorities of the proposed FLC and actually apply it in industrial field, Simulation iud experimental results are provided to verify the implemented a PWM converter system with 15kw capacity in paralleled with two 7.5kW PWM converters.
