피치제어기의 고유치 변화에 따른 풍력발전기의 성능 (Wind Turbine Performance for Eigen Value Change of Pitch Controller)

  • NREL(National Renewable Energy Laboratory) Baseline controller conduct using method proposed RISO National Laboratory in Region 3. which designed the blade-pitch control system using a single degree-of-freedom model of the wind turbine. Idealized PID-Controlled rotor-speed error will respond as a second-order system with the natural frequency and damping ratio. RISO proposed specific natural frequency(=0.6 rad/s) and damping ratio(=0.7). If specific Eigen value apply to NREL 5 MW wind turbine, differ with pitch respond for simulation results of RISO report. Variation of specific eigen value investigate performance of NREL 5 MW wind turbine.

  • 일반적으로 음성신호로부터 사람의 감정을 인식할 수 있는 요소는(1)대화의 내용에 사용한 단어, (2)톤 (tore), (3)음성신호의 피치(Pitch), (4)포만트 주파수(Formant Frequencey)그리고 (5)말의 빠르기(Speech Speed)(6)음질(Voice Quality)등이다. 사람의 경우는주파수 같은 분석요소 보다 톤과 단어 빠르기, 음질로 감정을 받아들이게 되는것이 자연스러운 방법이므로 당연히 후자의 요소들이 감정을 분류하는데 중요한 인자로쓰일 수있다. 그리고, 종래는 주로 후자의 효소들을 이용하였는데, 기계로써 구현하기 위해서는 포만트 주파수를 사용할 수있게 되는것이 도움이 된다. 그러므로, 본 연구는 음성 신호로부터 피치와 포만트, 그리고 말의 빠르기 등을 이용하여 감성인식시스템을 구현하는것을 목표로 연구를 진행하고 있으며, 그 1단계 연구로서 본 논문에서는 화가 나서 내뱉는 말을 기반으로 하여 화난 감정의 독특한 특성을 찾아내었다.

  • In speech signal processing, it Is very important to detect the pitch exactly in speech recognition, synthesis and analysis. but, it is very difficult to pitch detection from speech signal because of formant and transition amplitude affect. therefore, in this paper, we proposed a pitch detection using the spectrum flattening techniques. Spectrum flattening is to eliminate the formant and transition amplitude affect. In time domain, positive center clipping is process in order to emphasize pitch period with a glottal component of removed vocal tract characteristic. And rough formant envelope is computed through peak-fitting spectrum of original speech signal in frequency domain. As a results, well get the flattened harmonics waveform with the algebra difference between spectrum of original speech signal and smoothed formant envelope. After all, we obtain residual signal which is removed vocal tract element The performance was compared with LPC and Cepstrum, ACF 0wing to this algorithm, we have obtained the pitch information improved the accuracy of pitch detection and gross error rate is reduced in voice speech region and in transition region of changing the phoneme.

파랑 중 실린더형 구조물의 동적 안정성에 대한 연구 (Study on Dynamic Stability of Cylindrical Structure in Waves)

  • A cylindrical structure has a very long period of heave and pitch motion response in ocean waves. To obtain the dynamic stability of a cylindrical structure, it is necessary to obtain the suitable metacentric height (GM). However, in a structure with sufficient metacentric height, Mathieu instability can occur if the natural frequency of the heave motion is double the natural frequency of the roll and pitch motion. This study carried out numerical calculations and experiments for vertical-axis wind turbines with cylindrical floaters, which had three different centers of gravity. In the regular wave experiment, the divergence of the structure motion without yaw was observed when the natural frequency of the heave motion was double the natural frequency of the roll and pitch motion. In the irregular wave experiment, the motion spectra of the structures with the different centers of gravity were compared, and one was very high when the natural frequency of the heave motion was double the natural frequency of the roll and pitch motion.

주파수 청각 피드백(FAF)에 따른 말더듬 특성 연구 (A Study on Characteristics of the Stuttering according to Auditory Feedback Types)

  • 본 연구는 주파수 변조 피드백(FAF) 수준에 따라 말더듬인의 말더듬 빈도와 형태 변화를 밝히고자 하였다. 발달성 말더듬 성인 10명을 대상으로 NAF와 FAF 수준별(+2000, +1000, -1000, -2000) 상황에서 읽기 및 혼자말하기 과업을 통하여 수집한 구어 표본을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 읽기 및 혼자말하기 과제 모두에서 NAF와 FAF 모든 수준 간에 말더듬 빈도의 유의한 차이가 있었으나, FAF 수준 간에는 차이가 없었다. 말더듬 형태는 두 과업 모두 NAF 수준 보다 FAF 수준에서 모든 핵심행동이 감소하였다. 특히 폐쇄가 많이 감소하였고 핵심행동이 주로 반복으로 변화하였다.

차량 부밍소음의 청감 변화 인지를 위한 주파수 역치 (Difference Limen for Just Noticeable Change of Booming Sensation in Frequency)

  • Among many auditory feelings for the vehicle interior noise, booming is considered as the most important nuisance to the passenger and developer. Because the main source of booming noise is a power train system including engine, in general, it consists of tonal components related to fundamental engine rotation and its harmonics including the firing frequency. Therefore, it is demanded to extract the effective tonal components only by using pitch extraction algorithm based on the place theory enable to find aurally relevant tonal components. However, there is a difference between booming sensation and pitch perception according to frequency change of tonal component. In this study, subjective listening test using a tracking method was performed to find the difference limen for just noticeable change of booming sensation in frequency. 20 Koreans and 10 Japanese were participated in this test and the results obtained from Koreans and Japanese were compared with each other. Finally, 5Hz was determined as the difference limen for just noticeable change of booming sensation in frequency, and by applying this value to booming analysis using pitch concept, it was confirmed that the degree of prediction of booming sensation was improved.

부등피치를 적용한 재생 블로워의 소음특성 연구 (Analysis of Noise Characteristic of Uneven Pitch Regenerative Blower)

  • The flow and noise characteristics of the regenerative blower are evaluated experimentally. To decrease the noise of regenerative blower at a high frequency, we arrange the impeller vanes unevenly by special formula. The uneven pitch formular consists of the combination of trigonometric function. The magnitude of degree between each vanes and the control parameters of trigonometric functions are main design parameters for the uneven pitch. The flow characteristics of even and uneven impellers are tested by the fan tester and compared each results. The efficiency of a blower is calculated by the axial power using a dynamo system. The noise property of designed impeller is measured in an anechoic room. In this study, we certify that the uneven pitch impeller is effective in the noise reduction at a high frequency.

  • This paper describes the proceedings of creating countermeasures after analysis and maintenance be able to conduct operation safely in a power plant. in order to operate the power plant in a stable and reliable way, the best condition of the govemor system can be maintained through the response characteristic analysis of the control device for the pitch blade control hydraulic actuator. The fan pitch blade control hydraulic actuator of a 500MW large-scale boiler is frequently operated under normal operation conditions. Common problems or malfunctions of the pitch blade control hydraulic actuators leads to the decline of boiler thermal efficiency and unexpected power plant trip. The inlet and outlet gas can be controlled by using the fan pitch blade control hydraulic actuator in order to regulate the internal pressure of the furnace and control the frequency in the power plant facility which utilizes soft coals as a power source.

The Comparison of Pitch Production Between Children with Cochlear Implants and Normal Hearing Children

  • This study compares the pitch production of children using cochlear implants (CI) with that of children with normal hearing. Twenty subjects from six to eight years old participated in the study. Three kinds of sentences were read and analyzed using Visi-Pitch $\blacktriangleright$(KAY Elemetrics, Model 3300). There were no considerable differences between the two groups regarding pitch, mean fundamental frequency (F0) and pitch range. In the cases of the slope value of F0 and duration, however, there were significant differences. Thus, it is concluded that duration and pitch control can be crucial factors in determining the intonation treatment of the children with cochlear implants.

  • This study is for the pitch control of blade, used in most horizontal-axis wind turbine systems, to sustain the maximum power output supplied to grid. The control of a blade can be divided into a stall regulation and a pitch control methods. The stall regulation method using an aerodynamic stall is simple and cheap, but it suffers from fluctuation of the resulting power. Pitch control method is mechanically and mathematically complicated, but the control performance is better than that of the stall regulation method. In this paper 2.5MW MOD-2 wind turbine system is adopted to be controlled by a pitch controller with PI method. The simulation performed by MA TLAB will show the variation of frequency, generator output, and pitch angle.
