프리스트레스트 콘크리트 거더 일체식 교량의 교대 거동 해석과 예측 (Analysis and Prediction for Abutment Behavior of Prestressed Concrete Girder Integral Abutment Bridges)

  • 이 연구는 교량의 생애 동안의 온도 변화와 콘크리트의 시간 의존 영향을 고려하여 PSC 거더 일체식 교량의 해석 방법과 교대의 변위를 예측하는 모델 개발에 관한 것이다. 비선형 수치 해석 모델은 지반-구조물의 상호작용을 고려하며, 재료의 비선형 또한 고려되었다. 개발된 수치 해석 모델을 이용하여 총 243가지의 경우에 대하여 변수 연구를 하였다. 고려된 변수는 (1) 열팽창 계수, (2) 교량 길이, (3) 뒤채움재의 높이, (4) 뒤채움재의 강성, 그리고 (5) 말뚝-지반 강성이다. 변수 연구의 결과는 열팽창 계수, 교량 길이, 말뚝-지반의 강성이 지배적인 영향을 나타내는 것으로 드러났다. 또한, 교량의 길이는 교대의 윗부분의 변위에 지배적인 영향을 미치며 자유팽창 수축과 유사하였다. 하부의 변위에는 다른 변수들의 영향으로 추정이 쉽지 않았다. 개발된 교대의 변위 추정 모델은 기본 설계시에 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

암반 정착 대구경 피어기초의 거동특성에 관한 연구 (The Behavior of Large Diameter Rock Socketed Piles)

  • The rapid growth of the economy recently gas led to increasing social needs for large scaled structures, such as high-rise buildings and long span bridges. In building these large-scaled structures the trend has been to construct foundations beating on or in rock masses in order to ensure stability and serviceability of the structure under several significant loads. However. when designing the drilled shaft foundation socketed in rock masses in Korea, the bearing capacity for the pier used to be determined by using the empirical expression, which depends on the compressive strength of the rock, or presumable bearing capacity recommended on foreign references or manuals. In this study, numerical analyses are used to trace rock-socketed pile behavior and are made alike with pile load test result in field. The result of this numerical analyses study have shown that following factors have a significant influence on the load capacity and settlement of the pier. Significant influence first factor of the geometry of the socket as defined by the length to diameter ratio. Second factor of the modulus of the rock both around the socket and below the base. third factor of the condition of the end of the pier with respect to the removal of drill cuttings and other loose material from the bottom of the socket.

하천제방 배수통문의 저판확폭을 통한 공동발생 억제기법 연구 (An Experimental Study on Suppression of Cavity Development by Enlargement of Base Plate of Box-Culvert Installed at River Levee)

  • 일반적으로 하천제방 배수통문은 다양한 원인에 의하여 붕괴가 발생하며, 특히 연약지반 상에 말뚝기초를 이용하여 설치된 경우 1) 주변 지반(외부토체)/말뚝기초 처리된 암거 상단(내부토체)의 상대적 침하 차에 의한 배수통문 암거 측벽부의 다짐도 약화, 2) 하이드로릭 플랙처링에 의한 홍수 시 침투수압의 지속적 반복에 의한 측벽부 교란 등에 의해 붕괴가 발생한다. 특히 측벽부는 시공여건상 다짐장비의 접근이 어려운 다짐 취약부이고, 이질재료에 의한 마찰력 감소로 전단저항력이 일반 흙의 전단강도에 비해 1/3 이상 감소하여 발현된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 주변 지반에 인위적인 변형을 발생시키는 방법으로 침하를 모사한 실내 모형실험을 통하여 연약지반 상 말뚝 기초된 배수통문 암거의 상대적 침하에 따른 외부토체/내부토체 발현 메카니즘과 저판확폭에 따른 배수통문 암거 측벽부 다짐도 향상 효과를 비교 분석함으로써 배수통문 저판 확폭을 통한 주변지반 공동 확장 억제기법을 제시하였다.

  • 이 논문의 목적은 임진정계(1712) 경계표지물에 대한 역대 실지조사기록을 검토하여, 1712~1713년에 만들어진 경계표지물의 분포를 복원하는 것이다. 허량 박도상(1713), 김우식(1883), 이중하(1885), 오록정(1907), 오소네 세이지(1907), 유건봉(1908), 일제지형도(1933), 청진교원대학 백두산탐사대(1948), 길림성 장백산 여행단(1957)의 실지조사기록을 검토하였다. 이를 통하여, 1713년 최종 완성된 임진정계 경계표지물의 분포를 도표와 지도로 제시하였다.

규사를 폐콘크리트 미분말로 대체한 PHC 파일용 콘크리트의 강도특성 (Strength of concrete for PHC pile Replacing the silica to Waste Concrete Powder)

  • Waste Concrete Powder will be generated during the manufacture of construction waste as recycled aggregate Waste concrete. The main component of the waste concrete Powder is a silica-based composition 51% SiO2, waste concrete cement-based composition Al2O3 10%, CaO 26% component are contained. The material is silica sand of PHC piles should experiment by replacing the Waste Concrete Powder. The compressive strength results are as follows. 25% when the Silica was replaced 32.5Mpa, when 50% have replaced 43.4Mpa, when 75% have replaced 45.3Mpa was measured. Compared with the non-replaced test sample it appears that the strength increases. Therefore, it is determined that the practical use of the PHC piles by replacing silica via this experiment is possible.

원심성형 고성능 RC 말뚝의 이음부 보강에 대한 해석적 연구 (A Numerical Study on Flexure Performance of Enhanced Spun RC Pile with Reinforced Joint)

  • In this study, the reinforced methods of joints were proposed to improve the structural performance of the enhanced spun reinforced concrete piles with joints. To verify the proposed methods, flexure performance was validated by finite element analysis considering both material and contact nonlinearity. Based on the previous study and those results of the analysis, it is concluded that the structural performance of the current joints system for the enhanced spun RC piles can be enhanced by applying the reinforced joints composed of extended circular band plates and studs. This proposed method showed the nearest structural behavior to the enhanced spun RC piles without joints. This numerical study will be used to further experimental study on the enhanced spun RC piles with reinforced joints.

시험하중의 변화가 순수한 Cu시편의 비커스 미소경도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Applied Load on the Vickers Microhardness in Pure Cu Specimen)

  • Vickers microhardness for polished Cu specimen has been measured by conventional and new methods. The conventional microhardness was measured by observing the diagonal of indentation after the load was removed. Whereas, the new method for microhardness was obtained by measuring the penetration depth of indenter into the specimen under the load. As the applied load was increased, the microhardness obtained by new method was increased. When the applied load was in the range of 5mN to 80mN, the rate of elastic to total depth of indenter was about 6% and the calculated depth of rounded indenter was 0.07$\mu\textrm{m}$. The difference in microhardness measured by two different methods such as conventional and new methods can be explained in terms of the elastic deformation of specimen, the shape of practical indenter and pile up of material.

  • Recently, the area of design optimization, especially structural optimization, has been and to be a continuous active area of research. And the design optimizations of port facilities have been achieved by many other civil engineers. But the design optimization of port facilities were limited to the design optimization of the breasting dolphin. This paper invested the design optimization of mooring pier and the foundations of mooring pier was suggested considering the convenience of repair and reinforcement work. The mooring pier devised with prestressed precast concrete panel and rigid frame welded wide flange beam to steel pipe pile. To accomplish the design optimization of mooring pier, the Augmented Lagrangian Multiplier Method(ALM) of ADS(Garret N. Vanderplaats) optimization routine, BFGS method as optimizer and Golden Section Method as one dimensional search were utilized. As a result, thirty percent of material cost for construction was reduced by design optimization. The tensile stress of concrete panel and bottom flage was critical constraints under service load. So, using high strength concrete and steel will be economical. And lots of initial values must be invested to accomplish the design optimization in design procedures.

  • In order to investigate a recycling possibility as a construction material of oyster-shells, the geotechnical characteristics including N-value, confined compression and shear strength for oyster shell mixed soils were quantitatively examined. Experimental results show that the oyster shell mixed soils are lighter than sand in weight, and have similar characteristics of shear strength with sandy soils. Based on the experimental results, it is highly judged that crushed oyster-shell can be a substitute of sand as the SCP method.

  • The present article is concerned with the application of an electrochemical noise (EN) monitoring technique to analyze the initiation and propagation of Pb-assisted stress corrosion cracking (SCC) of an Alloy 600 material in a simulated environment of a steam generator (SG) sludge pile at high temperatures. A typical increase of electrochemical current noise (ECN) and electrochemical potential noise (EPN) was frequently recorded from the EN measurement in a caustic solution with such impurities as PbO and CuO, indicating that there are localized corrosion events occurring. With the aid of microscopic and spectral analyses, the EN data involving information on such stochastic processes as uniform corrosion and the initiation and propagation of SCC, were analyzed based on a stochastic theory.
