PROPERTIES OF GENERALIZED BIPRODUCT HOPF ALGEBRAS

  • The biproduct bialgebra has been generalized to generalized biproduct bialgebra $B{\times}^L_H\;D$ in [5]. Let (D, B) be an admissible pair and let D be a bialgebra. We show that if generalized biproduct bialgebra $B{\times}^L_H\;D$ is a Hopf algebra with antipode s, then D is a Hopf algebra and the identity $id_B$ has an inverse in the convolution algebra $Hom_k$(B, B). We show that if D is a Hopf algebra with antipode $s_D$ and $s_B$ in $Hom_k$(B, B) is an inverse of $id_B$ then $B{\times}^L_H\;D$ is a Hopf algebra with antipode s described by $s(b{\times}^L_H\;d)={\Sigma}(1_B{\times}^L_H\;s_D(b_{-1}{\cdot}d))(s_B(b_0){\times}^L_H\;1_D)$. We show that the mapping system $B{\leftrightarrows}^{{\Pi}_B}_{j_B}\;B{\times}^L_H\;D{\rightleftarrows}^{{\pi}_D}_{i_D}\;D$ (where $j_B$ and $i_D$ are the canonical inclusions, ${\Pi}_B$ and ${\pi}_D$ are the canonical coalgebra projections) characterizes $B{\times}^L_H\;D$. These generalize the corresponding results in [6].

  • Let $\zeta$ be a fixed complex number. In this paper, we study the quantity $S(\zeta,\;n):=mas_{f{\in}{\Lambda}_n}\;|f(\zeta)|$, where ${\Lambda}_n$ is the set of all real polynomials of degree at most n-1 with coefficients in the interval [0, 1]. We first show how, in principle, for any given ${\zeta}\;{\in}\;{\mathbb{C}}$ and $n\;{\in}\;{\mathbb{N}}$, the quantity S($\zeta$, n) can be calculated. Then we compute the limit $lim_{n{\rightarrow}{\infty}}\;S(\zeta,\;n)/n$ for every ${\zeta}\;{\in}\;{\mathbb{C}}$ of modulus 1. It is equal to 1/$\pi$ if $\zeta$ is not a root of unity. If $\zeta\;=\;\exp(2{\pi}ik/d)$, where $d\;{\in}\;{\mathbb{N}}$ and k $\in$ [1, d-1] is an integer satisfying gcd(k, d) = 1, then the answer depends on the parity of d. More precisely, the limit is 1, 1/(d sin($\pi$/d)) and 1/(2d sin($\pi$/2d)) for d = 1, d even and d > 1 odd, respectively.

  • For any $K$ > $2/{\pi}$ we determine the optimal constant $L(K)$ for which the following holds. If $u$, $tilde{u}$ are conjugate harmonic functions on the unit disc with $\tilde{u}(0)=0$, then $$ {\int}_{-\pi}^{\pi}{\mid}\tilde{u}(e^{i\phi}){\mid}\frac{d{\phi}}{2{\pi}}{\leq}K{\int}_{-\pi}^{\pi}{\mid}u(e^{i{\phi}}){\mid}{\log}^+{\mid}u(e^{i{\phi}}){\mid}\frac{d{\phi}}{2{\pi}}+L(K).$$ We also establish a related estimate for orthogonal harmonic functions given on Euclidean domains as well as an extension concerning orthogonal martingales under differential subordination.

Smith-Predictor Controller Design Using New Reduction Model (새로운 축소 모델을 이용한 Smith-Predictor 제어기 설계)

  • To improve the performance of PID controller of high order systems by model reduction, we proposed two model reduction methods. One, Original model with two point $({\angle}G(jw)=\;-{\pi}/2,\;-{\pi})$ in Nyquist curve used gradient base method and genetic algorithm. The other, Original model without two point$({\angle}G(jw)=\;-{\pi}/2,\;-{\pi})$in Nyquist curve used to add very small dead time. This method has annexed very small dead time on the base model for reduction, and we remove it after getting the reduced model, and , we improved Smith-predictor for a dead-time compensator using genetic algorithms. This method considered four points$({\angle}G(jw)=0,\;-\pi/2,\;-\pi,\;-3\pi/2)$ in the Nyquist curve to reduce steady state error between original and reduced model. It is shown that the proposed methods have more performance than the conventional method.

Simple Neuro-Controllers for Field-Oriented Induction Motor Servo Drives

  • In this paper, the position control of a detuned indirect field oriented control (IFOC) induction motor drive is studied. A proposed Simple-Neuro-Controllers (SNCs) are designed and analyzed to achieve high-dynamic performance both in the position command tracking and load regulation characteristics for robotic applications. The proposed SNCs are trained on-line based on the back propagation algorithm with a modified error function. Four SNCs are developed for position, speed and d-q axes stator currents respectively. Also, a synchronous proportional plus integral-derivative (PI-D) two-degree-of-freedom (2DOF) position controller and PI-D speed controller are designed for an ideal IFOC induction motor drive with the desired dynamic response. The performance of the proposed SNCs and synchronous PI-D 2DOF position controllers for detuned field oriented induction motor servo drive is investigated. Simulation results show that the proposed SNCs controllers provide high-performance dynamic characteristics which are robust with regard to motor parameter variations and external load disturbance. Furthermore, comparing the SNC position controller with the synchronous PI-D 2DOF position controller demonstrates the superiority of the proposed SNCs controllers due to attain a robust control performance for IFOC induction motor servo drive system.

Fuel Flow Control of Turbojet Engine Using the Fuzzy PI+D Controller (퍼지 PI+D 제어기를 이용한 터보제트 엔진의 연료유량 제어)

  • In this paper, Proposed controller prevent compressor surge and reduce the acceleration time of the fuel flow control system for turbo-jet engine. Turbo-jet engine controller is designed by applying fuzzy PI+D control algorithm and make an inference by applying Mamdani's inference method and the defuzzification using the center of gravity method. Fuzzy inference results are used as the fuel flow control inputs to prevent compressor surge and flame-out for turbo-jet engine and the controller is designed to converge to the desired speed quickly and safely. Using MATLAB to perform computer simulations verified the performance of the proposed controller.

  • In this paper, design of current and speed controller for DC motor drive system using dSPACE 1104 system is introduced. Current and speed controller is designed and implemented using MATLAB/SIMULINK program simply and easily, and speed control response of DC motor can be advanced. Current and speed control of DC motor is carried in DSP control board using dSPACE system. Speed feedback is processed through QEP using pulse encorder as speed sensor, and current feedback is processed through A/D converter using hall sensor as current sensor. Controller is designed to PI current controler and PI speed controller. Current and speed response is verified through simulations and experiments.

Similitude Study on Grain Thrower (차원해석방법에 의한 Thrower의 양곡특성에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문은 Thrower의 양곡성능에 관한 예측 방정식을 차원해석법을 적용하여 유도하는데 있다. Thrower의 능률에 큰 영향을 미친다고 생각되는 인자들간의 관계식들을 Buckingham의 $\pi$이론에 의하여 구하여 졌으며 본연구에 사용한 Thrower는 현재 농촌에서 사용되고 있는 자동탈곡기의 Thrower와 유사한 형으로 제작된 것이며 실험에 사용된 시료는 벼의 경우는 통일벼와 미네히까리 품종이고 보리 품종으로서는 나맥이며, Thrower의 Impeller 직경, 속도 및 투입량을 변화시켜 가면서 각 시료에 대하여 양곡높이를 측정하여 그 예측방정식을 유도하였다. 본 논문에서 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. Thrower의 양곡성능에 지대한 영향을 미친다고 생각되는 주요 인자들을 Thrower의 양정, impeller의 직경과 속도, 투입량, 곡립의 밀도, 중력가속도등이라 간주하여 Buckingham의 $\pi$이론을 적용하여 이들에 관한 $\pi$항들을 결정하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. {{{{ pi 1= { D} over {H } , pi 2= { { DN}^{ { 1} over {2 } } } over { { g}^{ { 1} over { 2} } }, pi 3= { Q} over { { g}^{ { 1} over {2 } } { rho D}^{ { 2} over {6 } } }}}}} 2. 실험에 의하여 구해진 $\pi$항문의 관계식을 합성하여 Thrower의 양곡성능에 관한 시료별 예측방정식을 구하였으며 이 식들은 아래와 같다. 통일 : $\pi$1=0.1223($\pi$2)-1.1813$\times$($\pi$3)-0.1864 미네히까리 : $\pi$1=0.1185($\pi$2)-0.9663$\times$($\pi$3)-0.1575 나맥 : $\pi$1=0.1599($\pi$2)-1.2350$\times$($\pi$3)-0.1382 3. 현재 농촌에서 사용되고 있는 자동탈곡기체 부착된 Thrower의 회전수, Impeller의 직경 및 투입량은 각각 1,100rpm, 30cm 및 150gr/sec 정도로서 이와같은 수준의 변량들을 기초로 하여 본 논문에서 유도한 예측방정식을 적용하여 Thrower의 양정을 산출한 결과, 통일벼의 경우는 2.6m정도였고 미네히까리 품종과 나맥의 양정은 각각 2.4m, 2.9m 정도였다. 이와같은 사실로부터 1m내외의 양정만으로 되어있는 자동탈곡기 Thrower의 경우 제작비절감, 소요동력 감소를 기하고 아울러 과립의 손상을 줄이기 위해서는 설계 또는 작동조건의 변경을 통해 Thrower의 회전수를 현재 수준이하로 줄일 필요가 있다고 판단되었다.

Synthesis, Film Fabrication, and Optical Properties of Polymers Containing Metal Cation Complex Type D-$\pi$-A Chromophore (금속 양이온 배위형 D-$\pi$-A 발색단을 포함하는 폴리머의 합성 및 박막화와 광학특성)

  • Donor-$\pi$-acceptor (D-$\pi$-A) type chromophore-based polymers were newly synthesized. These polymers exhibited absorption peak due to intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) in a visible range as well as absorption peak due to carbonyl group in both solution and film state by measuring UV visible spectra. The addition of $Eu^{3+}$ ion into the polymers induced red-shift in absorption due to ICT and the color changes from yellow to red in the solution and film were observed by naked eyes. The contents of crosslinking agent influenced the features and solubility of the polymers. In addition, the contents of crosslinking agent and the $Eu^{3+}$ ion addition improved film-forming ability.

The Performance Analysis of Trellis-coded ${\pi}$/8-shift in Digital Mobile Communication (디지틀 이동통신에서 trellis-부호화된 ${\pi}$/8-shift 8PSK 변조방식의 성능 분석)

  • 본 논문에서는 디지틀 이동 통신 시스템의 열악한 페이딩 채널에 적합한 변복조 반식중의 하나인${\pi}$/4-shift QPSK 성능을 논하고, 그 성능 개선을 위한 새로운 TCM(trellis-coded modulation)을 적응하여 trellis-부호화된${\pi}$/8-shift 8SPSK 방식을 제안 한다. 기존의 ${\pi}$/4-shift QPSK변조 방식에 TCM의 도입은 요구된 대역폭과 송신 전력과 전송을 그대로 유지하면서 부호화와 변조를 일체화함으로서 부호화 이득(coding gain)을 얻을 수 있다. 이동 통신 채널에서 trellis-부호화된 ${\pi}$/8-shift 8PSK방식의 시스템 성능을 추정하기 위해서, 가산 백색 가우시안 잡음과 레일레이 페이딩 현상이 존재하는 채널에서, 차량속도 변화에 따른 도플러 효과에 의한 페이딩율이 10Hz와 30Hz인 두 경우에 대해 시스템을 모델링한다. Trellis-부호화된${\pi}$/8-shift 8PSK에 대한 부호화 이득은 비트 에러 확률을 적용하여 분석하고, 기본 시스템과 새롭게 모델링 되어진 시스템의 개선된 성능을 비교하기 위해, TCM의 상태수를 4,8,16으로 선정하여 비교 구현해 본 결과, 상태수가 커질수록 더 좋은 성능을 나타내고, 기존의 ${\pi}$/4-shift QPSK보다 trellis-부호된 ${\pi}$/8-shift 8PSK는 가산 백색 가우시안 잡음채널에서는 3~4dB의 부호화 이득을 얻고, 레일레이 페이티 채널하에서 3~16dB정도의 부호화 이득을 얻음을 알 수 있다.
