This paper tries to examine whether the application of joint mobilization to subjects who have the forward head posture due to malalignment in the cervical joint has influence on posture changes and functions in the cervical joint. The subjects were 39 students from G University in Gyeongsangbuk-do. The cervical joint mobilization was applied to 20 subjects and not to 19. The students with a cervical lordosis angle of $21^{\circ}C$ or less, an anterior weight bearing (AWB) of 15mm or greater, and a cervical extension ROM of $70^{\circ}C$ or less in terms of radiography were selected as subjects under their voluntary agreement. The patients actively performed the joint mobilization slowly 8 times per session while therapists continuously applied sustained accessory glide to their painful joints 3 times per week for 4 weeks along with the cervical expansion and flexion in SNAGS among other Mulligan's (1995) techniques. The measurement was carried out in terms of radiographic inspection and neck disability indexes. As a result of the experiment, it turned out that the subjects with the forward head posture had changes in the cervical AWB and ARA, the ranges of expansion and flexion, and the NDI(Neck Disability Index) after the intervention for the experimental group by applying cervical joint mobilization. There were no changes observed in the control group. In conclusion, the application of joint mobilization turned out to have influence on the improvement of cervical joint postures, and craniocervical region functions.

This study aims to examine the effects of squat exercise on the vitality and balanced capacity of female university students in their 20s with lower blood flow control. This study selected 40 volunteers from normal adult women in their twenties. Blood flow restriction used Blood Flow Restriction bands (BFR bands). The application method was to put on a blood flow restriction belt in the lower leg of the restricted blood flow area and put 120 mmHg of pressure to limit blood flow while the subject was standing comfortably. It was found that there were statistically significant differences in Height, Maximum concentric power and Take off speed between two groups(p<.05), There was statistically unimportant differences in foot scan between two groups(p>.05). This study found that to find out the changes in balance and alacrity, the experimental and control groups were divided into two groups. In conclusion, there were no significant differences in balance capability, but there were significant differences over time in net power.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of aroma oil on EEG and academic stress. Twenty four male middle school students whose mean age 15 years participated in this experiment. They were assigned into one of two experimental conditions :(1) treatment group and control group. Lee Bo-young's Academic stress level test was used to measure the level of the stress. WEEG-8 Channel(Laxtha Inc) was used to measure the EEG. Four different areas(Fp1, Fp2, F3, F4) related to stress were tested based on the international 10-20 System. The task was to complete the stress test, to inhale the aroma in a comfortable chair for 3 minutes and to complete the stress test, again. The results of this study indicated that aroma inhalation reduced students' academic stress. In addition, alpha wave was increased by inhaling the aroma. The findings of the present study suggested that aromatherapy become a potential tool to reduce the level of stress.
Objectives : The aim of this study was to investigate the number of self-report symptoms for temporomandibular disorders(TMD) and related factors in the third grade students of high school. Methods : A total of 1,043 high school the 3rd students age 16 20 completed a questionnaire from 11 high schools in Andong city from April to June 2010. Student's t-test was used to analyze the difference of TMD number. Multiple regression analysis was performed to determine the effects of independent variables on TMD number. Results : 1. Students who have one TMD were 71.3%, two 41.7% and over three 25.7%, respectively. 2. The number of TMD symptom of students who have no good habits such as clenching, bite lip and cheeks, resting on hand, chewing gum, hard foods, and unilateral chewing was a statistically significant higher than those who doesn't have ones(p=0.00). 3. TMD number of students who have been under more stress was a significantly higher than those who didn't have been(p=0.00). 4. Bite lip and cheek(${\beta}$=0.03, p=0.037), chewing gum(${\beta}$=0.03, p=0.029), resting on hand(${\beta}$=0.04, p=0.006), hard foods(${\beta}$=0.07, p=0.000), and stress out(${\beta}$=-0.03, p=0.018) were significantly associated with TMD number by multiple regression analysis. Conclusions : Variables associated with TMD were bite lip and cheek, chewing gum, resting on hand, hard foods, and stress out factor. According to our findings, it is so important to teach good habits on oral health to the 3rd grade students in high school. Further prospective study should explore cause of TDM from those variables.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the drinking behavior of university students in Jeju for the safe campus life. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 549 students in 4 universities in Jeju. The data were analyzed by t-test, one way ANOVA, and multiple regression using SPSS Win 19.0 program. The questionnaire instruments consisted of Alcohol Use Disorders of Identification Test-Korea (AUDIT-K) and Life Stress Scale for College Students adapted by Chon. Results: The alcohol consumption rate of participants accounted for 96.2%. The binge drinking rate in female students were 33.9% and that in male students was 29.5%. The result by scoring AUDIT showed that 30.7% of participants were normal drinking group, 36.0% were hazardous drinking group, and 33.3% were estimated alcohol abuse group. The average score of stress was 1.45 by Likert 4 point scale. The female students tended to have more stresses than male. The most important influencing factors on drinking behavior were the first alcohol drinking(${\beta}=-.250$, p< .001), gender(${\beta}=.202$, p< .001), and relationship problem(${\beta}=.116$, p < .05). Conclusion: The drinking rate of university students revealed higher than that in other age groups. So the early systematic education is strongly recommended to prevent the physical and mental side effects.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the motivation for choosing a major, COVID-19 anxiety, and work values on the employment preparation behavior of health college students and to provide evidence for developing programs for employment preparation behavior in the future. Methods : Employing a random sampling method, a survey was conducted from April 22 to June 3, 2022, using an electronically-disseminated questionnaire with college students majoring in medical technician, health administration, and nursing from D and K colleges located in Daegu. A total of 402 students who fully understood and agreed to the purpose of the study participated. The SPSS statistical program was used to analyze the collected data, which were verified using correlation and regression analyses. Results : The results of the study are: First, employment preparation behavior was positively correlated to major selection motivation, COVID-19 anxiety, and work values. Second, significant relationships were found between employment preparation behavior and motivation behind choosing a major, work values, and COVID-19 anxiety, in that order. The higher the major selection motivation, work values, and COVID-19 anxiety were, the better the employment preparation behavior was. Conclusion : The study's results indicate that it would be meaningful to provide health college students who were highly motivated to select their major and who possess sound work values with well-prepared job training programs. Various activities organized by the school for improving the students' self-satisfaction and self-efficacy, which can strengthen their long-term work values, could also be provided. In addition, due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, college students may feel anxious about new infectious diseases that might occur in the future. Therefore, considering the contemporary situation, a helpful educational program will be invaluable to fit the pupils for life's battle after they finish their education.
This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of a body weight control program with supplementation of sea tangle (20 g/day) on 22 female college students. The contents of the program for 8 weeks contained diet therapy, exercise and behavioral modification through nutrition education. Body composition, dietary habit scores, serum lipid profiles, daily nutrient intakes and the quality of life were assessed at the beginning and at the end of the program. Average age of subjects and height were 20.8 years and 161.9 cm, respectively. After 8 weeks, there were significant reductions in body weight, body fat mass, percent body fat, waist-hip ratio and BMI. The dietary habit score such as a balanced diet, regularity of mealtime, overeating, eating while watching TV or using the computer and eating salty food were increased significantly. Serum lipid levels such as total cholesterol level, LDL-cholesterol level and triglyceride level were decreased but not significantly. There were decreases in intake of energy, protein and fat and increases in intakes of dietary fiber, folic acid, calcium and potassium from the beginning to the end of the program. There were significant improvements on subcomponents of quality of life; physical functioning, general-health and vitality. The limitation of this study was the fact that there was no control group, but an overall evaluation suggests the 8-week body weight control program consisting of diet therapy, exercise and behavioral modification with supplementation of sea tangle would be helpful to improve the body composition, dietary habits, daily nutrient intakes and quality of life in Korean female college students.

Purpose : To investigate the degree of smartphone addiction among health-related college students, and to compare and analyze the effect of the degree of addiction on attention control and interpersonal support. Methods : 184 people who voluntarily participated and agreed to fill out the questionnaire were randomly sampled. The smartphone self-diagnosis scale was used to measure the degree of smartphone addiction, and the Attentional Control Questionnaire (ACQ) was used as a tool to measure the degree of attention control. In addition, the Interpersonal Support Evaluation List (ISEL) was used to measure the degree of interpersonal support. Results : In comparison of the degree of smartphone addiction according to the general characteristics of the subjects, there was no significant difference according to religion, major, and grade, but there was a significant difference in gender and daily use time of smartphones (p <.05). There was a significant difference in the degree of attention control according to the level of smartphone addiction (high risk, potential risk, general user group) (p <.05), but there was no significant difference in the degree of interpersonal support. Conclusion : The degree of smartphone addiction was relatively higher for women than for men, and users who used it for a long time per day were more addicted. It also showed that attention control was further reduced in highly addictive users.

This study aims to identify the differences between depression and life stress in exercise behavior change stage of some female college students. For the purpose, the study selected 250 female college students through convenience sampling and interviewed them with an self-administered questionnaire. A total of 192 copies of the questionnaire were used for the final analysis except 58 ones whose responses were insincere. As a result, there was a significant difference in depression according to grades, economic status, drinking state, smoking and changes of exercise, and there was a significant difference in life stress according to grades, residental state, perceived health and exercise behavior change stage. Based on the results above, it was suggested that to decrease depression and life stress of female college students, their health behaviors should be encouraged. Especially, to lead them to have regular and continuous exercise, differentiated and individualized exercise and educational programs should be developed in each step of exercise.

This study was conducted with a randomized control group pretest-posttest study design to investigate the effects of a combined arts education program combining choral and respiratory training on the respiratory function, stress, and quality of life of university students. Twenty-five university students were randomly assigned to the experimental group (n=13) who participated in the combined arts education program and the control group (n=12) who participated in the general arts education program. As a result, there was a significant difference in the lung capacity, respiratory strength, stress and quality of life scale before and after the experiment in the experimental group (p<0.05). In addition, the results of the rest of the tests showed significant differences (p<0.05), except for the result FEV1. Through the results of this study, the combined art education program that combines chorus and breathing training will be beneficial as a program to improve stress reduction, breathing function and quality of life of university students.
