Aluminum-doped zinc oxide (AZO) thin films were prepared by dc magnetron sputtering at room temperature and the effect of heat treatment on the structural, electrical and optical properties of the films were examined. As the annealing temperature and time increased, the resistivity decreased and the transmittance improved. All AZO films had c-axis oriented (002) plane of ZnO, regardless of the annealing process employed. As the annealing temperature and time increased, the crystallinity of AZO thin films increased due to the formation of a new ZnO phase in which Al was substituted for Zn. However, at the high annealing temperature of $400^{\circ}C$, the resistivity of the films increased via separation of Zn and Al from ZnO phase due to their low melting points. X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron micrograph and Hall effect measurement confirmed the formation of uniformly distributed new grains of ZnO substituted with Al. The variation of Al contents in AZO films was shown to be the primary factor for the changes in resistivity and carrier concentration of the films.

Recently, wireless charging systems have expanded their applications from household electrical appliances to outdoor activity devices. In wireless charging systems, solar cells have versatile advantages, such as abundant raw materials within the earth, reasonable prices of products, and highest power conversion efficiency. In this study, the photovoltaic effect between a silicon solar cell and a photon of infrared wavelength was simulated using a Shockley diode equation. A solar cell power charging system was then set up to: 1) clarify mechanisms of the charging interaction based on the photovoltaic effect with a laser source, and 2) verify interdependency of the parameters: laser settings and geometrical position between a solar cell and the laser. As was observed, the solar cell generates more power when the photon was irradiated uniformly, intensively, and vertically on the surface of the solar cell.
In this paper, we analyzed the effect of EVA Sheet Gel Content depending on curing condition for photovoltaic module. Gel Content was measured by manufacturing Glass/EVA Sheet/Back Sheet scheme at several curing temperature and curing time. And the surface analysis of EVA Sheet depending on process condition could be observed using SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope). Through this experiment, we could confirm that there are differences on Gel Content of EVA Sheet and surface configuration depending on curing temperature and curing time. To find out the optical characteristic dependency on curing condition, Class/EVA Sheet/Glass scheme was fabricated. The optical transmittance of EVA Sheet at visible wavelength was enhanced 5% when compared to Glass/Glass scheme. And the transmittance of $130^{\circ}C$/4min, $110^{\circ}C$/4min, $160^{\circ}C$/6min process condition was higher at ultraviolet wavelength range. These curing conditions could be regarded as the best process for suppression the discoloration speed of EVA Sheet under UV light.

The solar photovoltaic Power generator can get more power with the higher solar radiation quantity. However, if the higher solar radiation quantity on cell becomes high temperature, the efficiency of generate will be reduced. To install cooling system for this kind of device can be the way to solve high temperature problem on cell but another problems after install it such as increasing of solar generated quantity problem, cost to install cooling system and cost to be maintained cooling system weren't discussed to practical use this system. So the present paper described about effect and commercial business possibility of cooling system.

Functional transparent electrode was achieved by metal oxide-metal-Metal oxide (OMO) structure. Tailoring of metal oxide and metal layers, optically transparent and electrically excellent OMO films were investigated. Silver (Ag) is adopted for the metal layer and Ag oxide (AgO) is reactively formed by flowing O2 gas during the sputtering process. This spontaneous AgO formation from Ag simultaneously provides the good electrical interface with high transparency. Due to the feature of transparent electrode of OMO, it endows the shielding effect (SE) function of electromagnetic interference. Optically transparent and electrically conductive OMO electrode shows the high transmittance (83.7%) and low sheet resistance (6.5 Ω/☐) with SE of 29.54 dB.

Finding renewable and clean energy resources is essential research to solve global warming and depletion of fossil fuels in modern society. Recently, complex harvesting of energy from multiple sources is available in our living environments using a single device has become highly desirable, representing a new trend in energy technologies. We report that when simultaneously driving the fusion and composite cells of two or more types, it is possible to make an affect the other cells to obtain a greater synergistic effect. To understand the coupling effect of photovoltaic and piezoelectric device, we fabricate the serially integrated hybrid cell (s-HC) based on organic solar cell (OSC) and piezoelectric nanogenerator (PNG). The size of increased voltage peaks when OSC and PNG are working on is larger than the case when only PNG is working. This voltage difference is the Voc change of OSC, not the voltage change of PNG and current density difference between these two cases is manifested more clearly. When the OSC and PNG are working in s-HC at the same time, piezoelectric potential (VPNG) is generated in ZnO and theoretical total voltage is sum of voltage of an OSC (VOSC) and VPNG. However, electrons from OSC are influenced by piezoelectric potential in ZnO and current loss of OSC in whole circuit decreases. As a result, VOSC increases temporarily. Current shows the similar behavior. PNG acts a resistance in the whole circuit and current loss occurs when the electrons from OSC pass through the PNG. But piezoelectric potential recover current loss and decrease the resistance of PNG. Our PNG can maintain piezoelectric potential when the strain is held owing to the LDH layer while general PNG cannot maintain piezoelectric potential. During the section that strain is held, voltage enhancement effect is maintained and same effect appeared even turn off the light. Actually at this time, electrons in ZnO nanosheets move to LDH and trapped by the positive charges in this layer. After this strain is held, piezoelectric potential of ZnO nanosheets is disappeared but potential difference which is developed by negative charge dominant LDH layer is remained. This potential acts similar role like piezoelectric potential in ZnO. Electrons from the OSC also are influenced by this potential and the more current flows.
We have investigated the effect of rubrene-doped CuPc hole transport layer on the performance of p-i-n type bulk hetero-junction photovoltaic device with a structure of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/CuPc: rubrene/CuPc:C60(blending ratio 1:1)/C60/BCP/Al and have evaluated the current density-voltage(J-V) characteristics, short-circuit current($J_{sc}$), open-circuit voltage($V_{oc}$), fill factor(FF), and energy conversion efficiency(${\eta}_e$) of the device. By rubrene doping into CuPc hole transport layer, absorption intensity in absorption spectra decreased. However, the performance of p-i-n organic type bulk hetero-junction photovoltaic device fabricated with crystalline rubrene-doped CuPc was improved since rubrene shows higher bandgap and hole mobility compared to CuPc. Increased injection currents have effected on the performance improvement of the present device with energy conversion efficiency(${\eta}_e$) of 1.41%, which is still lower value compared to silicone solar cell and many efforts should be made to improve organic photovoltaic devices.

Most of a BIPVS (Building Integrated Photovoltaic System) is installed on the rooftop or wall of a building. Therefore, the main factor to consider for selecting the installation site is the shadow effects produced by the surrounding buildings. On the other hand, when the photovoltaic was installed on soundproof walls, shadow effects were produced by not only surrounding buildings but also the surrounding trees. Therefore, a different data model and algorithm with the BIPVS case are essential for proper installation sites selection of a SIPVS (Soundproof wall Integrated Photovoltaic System). This paper deals with the DSM (Digital Surface Model)-based proper installation site analysis for SIPVS. First, the solar incident and altitude angles of the installation candidate sites (solar panel) during the year were calculated. Second, the shadow effects (shadowed or unshadowed) were determined for the candidate sites at each time with the DSM. Third, the amount of solar radiation was calculated with the incident angle for the candidate sites at an unshadowed period. The proper installation site of the SIPVS could then be selected by comparing the accumulated annual solar radiation for each candidate. The proposed algorithm was implemented as a prototype (Java program). From the experiment, the order of the installation suitability was determined among the nine candidates. The proposed algorithm could be used for proper BIPVS installation site analysis aimed at the lower part of a building and calculation of the expected power production.

We have investigated the effect of strong p-type organic semiconductor $F_4$-TCNQ-doped CuPc hole transport layer on the performance of p-i-n type bulk heterojunction photovoltaic device with ITO/PEDOT:PSS/CuPc: $F_4$-TCNQ(5 wt%)/CuPc:C60(blending ratio l:l)/C60/BCP/LiF/Al, architecture fabricated via vacuum deposition process, and have evaluated the J-V characteristics, short-circuit current ($J_{sc}$), open-circuit voltage($V_{oc}$), fill factor(FF), and power conversion efficiency(${\eta}_e$) of the device. By doping $F_4$-TCNQ into CuPc hole transport layer, increased absorption intensity in absorption spectra, uniform dispersion of organic molecules in the layer, surface uniformity of the layer, and enhanced injection currents improved the current photovoltaic device with power conversion efficiency(${\eta}_e$) of 0.16%, which is still low value compared to silicone solar cell indicating that many efforts should be made to improve organic photovoltaic devices.
With rapid increasing production and installation, recycling of photovoltaic modules has become the main issue. According to the research, the accumulation of waste modules will reach to 8600 tons in 2030. Moreover, Crystalline-silicon (c-Si) Photovoltaic modules account for more than 90% of the waste. C-Si PV modules contain 1.3% of weight of photovoltaic ribbon inside which contains the most of lead, tin and copper in the PV modules, which would cause environmental and humility problem. This study provided a valuable metal separation process for PV ribbons. Ribbons content 82.1% of Cu, 8.9% of Sn, 5.2% of Pb, and 3.1% of Ag. All of them were leached by 3M of hydrochloric acid in the optimal condition. Ag was halogenated to AgCl and precipitated. Cu ion was extracted and separated from Pb and Sn by Lix984N then stripped by 3M H2SO4. The effect of the optimal parameters of extraction was also studied in this essay. The maximum extraction efficiency of Cu ion was 99.64%. The separation condition of Pb and Sn were obtained by adjusting the pH value to 4 thought ammonia to precipitate and separate Pb and Sn. The recovery of Pb and Sn can reach 99%.
