Development of FRP Waste Recycling Technology by Property Invesitigation and Polymer Cement Mortar Manufacturing (물성조사와 폴리머 시멘트 몰타르 제조를 통한 FRP폐기물의 재활용 기술개발)

  • This study has investigated physical and chemical properties of FRP waste, has manufactured polymer cement mortar using a crushed waste with sand and has evaluated its capability to develop the economical waste recycling technology. The study has investigated tension strength, hardness test and impact test as physical properties and also thermogravimetric characteristics and analyzed infrared spectroscope as chemical properties. Then the study has manufactured polymer cement mortar and has analyzed how the FRP waste fine aggregate replacement ratio has an effect on compression strength. Noticing admixture can complement strength drop occurred by the FRP waste fine aggregate replacement, the study examined an optimum rate of admixture addition and its reaction through electron microscope photos.

User Requirement Analysis on Risk Management of Architectural Heritage in Virtual Reality

  • We propose a method to analyze user requirements to design a virtual reality-based risk management system. This paper presents surveys, interviews, prototype evaluation methods, and implementation process. Architectural heritage is easily exposed to natural and artificial dangers caused by various material combinations and structural features. So, risk management of cultural heritage plays a key role in preserving and managing cultural heritage. However, risk management has been carried out through empirical methods using distributed data. This study analyzes user requirements for designing functions and interfaces of VR-based risk management system and evaluates prototypes to overcome the above problems. As a result, most heritage managers wanted a system function to support risk analysis and response. They also found that they prefer 2D information such as existing drawings and photos rather than 3D information. The results of the user requirements analysis derived from this study will be used to create risk management applications.

  • In spite of a rapid development in the quality of built-in mobile cameras, their some physical restrictions hinder them to achieve the satisfactory results of digital single lens reflex (DSLR) cameras. In this work we propose an end-to-end deep learning method to translate ordinary images by mobile cameras into DSLR-quality photos. The method is based on the framework of generative adversarial networks (GANs) with several improvements. First, we combined the U-Net with DenseNet and connected dense block (DB) in terms of U-Net. The Dense U-Net acts as the generator in our GAN model. Then, we improved the perceptual loss by using the VGG features and pixel-wise content, which could provide stronger supervision for contrast enhancement and texture recovery.

  • A HMD type multi-focus 3D display system is developed and proof about satisfaction of eye accommodation is tested. Four LEDs(Light Emitting Diode) and a DMD are used to generate four parallax images at single eye and any mechanical part is not included in this system. The multi-focus means the ability of monocular depth cue to various depth levels. By achieving multi-focus function, we developed a 3D display system for only one eye, which can satisfy the accommodation to displayed virtual objects within defined depth. We could achieve a result that focus adjustment is possible at 5 step depths in sequence within 2m depth for only one eye. Additionally, the change level of burring depending on the focusing depth is tested by captured photos and moving pictures of video camera and several subjects. And the HMD type multi-focus 3D display can be applied to a monocular 3D display and monocular AR 3D display.

딥러닝 기반 개인화 패션 추천 시스템

  • People's focus steadily shifted toward fashion as a popular aesthetic expression as their quality of life improved. Humans are inevitably drawn to things that are more aesthetically appealing. This human proclivity has resulted in the evolution of the fashion industry over time. However, too many clothing alternatives on e-commerce platforms have created additional obstacles for clients in recognizing their suitable outfit. Thus, in this paper, we proposed a personalized Fashion Recommender system that generates recommendations for the user based on their previous purchases and history. Our model aims to generate recommendations using an image of a product given as input by the user because many times people find something that they are interested in and tend to look for products that are like that. In the system, we first reduce data dimensionality by component analysis to avoid the curse of dimensionality, and then the final suggestion is generated by neural network. To create the final suggestions, we have employed neural networks to evaluate photos from the H&M dataset and a nearest neighbor backed recommender.

  • This study is quantitative landscape resources evaluation using Google panoramio geotagged photo collections. Panoramio geotagged photos are including the location information and time information. That is the valuation of the landscape resources and time series analysis allows. And Seasonal changes in preference for a particular landscape can be identified. This study used data from the general public has been produced by the Web 2.0 environment. So, the proposed method in this study will be complement the method using surveys and expert.

  • 본 논문은 KOMPSAT-2 화상을 활용일환으로 산불피해등급의 판독열쇠 개발에 관한 연구이다. 고해상도 화상을 통한 산불피해림의 정성정보 제공에 이용될 판독 열쇠는 잣나무(림)의 산불피해등급 판별을 위해 4가지 요소,즉 색,형태,구조 그리고 질감에 기초로 개발하였다. 개발된 육안 판독열쇠는 항공 위색적외선 화상(CIR images)과 항공 흑백적외선 사진 (black and white IR photos)에서도 지형효과에 의한 그림자 영향과 무관하게 산불 잣나무(림) 피해등급 판별을 위해 사용할 수 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 디지털사진의 효율적인 관리를 위하여 EXIF정보를 이용한 위치 기반의 디지털사진 앨범을 설계하고 구현한다. 촬영된 디지털사진을 과거에 일어난 사건으로 정의하고, 인간이 사건의 인지에 시간적 배경인 시간정보와 공간적 배경인 공간정보를 사용하고 있는 점을 착안하여 이를 기반으로 한 앨범의 설계와 제작을 보인다. 시스템은 대표적인 디지털사진 파일의 포맷으로 사용되는 JPEG/EXIF 포맷의 EXIF정보에 포함된 사진촬영 날짜와 GPS정보를 이용하여 설계되어 기존의 사진 관리시스템보다 효율적인 사용자 상호작용이 가능하다.

  • This thesis implements retrieving systems with easy to retrieve photos which end-user want to find based m end-user computing(EUC)'s a theoretical study on factors in exert a effect on the computing systems. And also this systems allow a photographer to store his works in the database of this systems by himself on internet environment. This sock photo systems is developed with object oriented design methodology so it is easy to modify and to reuse software. And this systems can use for electronic commerce by adding the electronic payment systems.
