Chronic exposure of solar ultraviolet (UV) light to human skin results in photoaging with wrinkle formation. This study was performed to investigate anti-wrinkle effects of Lindera obtusiloba extract (LO) on UVB-induced wrinkle formation. We first measured cell proliferation and type I pN collagen synthesis activities in normal human dermal fibroblasts. Cell proliferation and type I pN collagen synthesis were increased by 33.8 % and 91.8 %, respectively, compared with no treatment control. SKH-1 hairless mice were topically applied 5 % LO solution for 10 weeks with UVB irradiation three times a week. After 10 weeks, a visual assessment and replica assay were performed on each mouse. According to visual assessment of close-up photos and skin replica, application of 5 % LO solution inhibited UV-induced wrinkle formation in mouse skin as compared to the vehicle-applied control mice. These results indicated that LO could protect skin wrinkle formation caused by chronic photo-irradiation in hairless mice.

In the history of photograph, after the development of color photographs, those with multiple colors and high definition has gradually become the mainstream works in the field of photography. In the modern society of China that has been through reform and opening up, people's minds were increasingly liberated to widely accept color photos in terms of photography. Furthermore, the broad penetration of digital photography has brought together a new trend in the field of black-and-white photography. In line with this trend, more black-and-white photographs have appeared which are different from existing ones in the film-based period. In this recognition, the study seeks to compare the black-and-white documentary photograph works of Chinese photographers and analyze the modern Chinese black-and-white photographs.

The building heights of big cities which charged with most space are 3-D information as relative vertical distance from ground control points, but they didn't know the heights using contour with maps as lose of skyline or building heights for downtown, practically continuously developed of many technology methods for implementation of 3-D spatial earth. So, For the view as stereos of variety earth form generated 3-D spatial and made terrain perspective map, 3-D simulated of regional and urban space as aviation images. In this papers, it composited geospatial informations and images by DEM generation, and developed and presented for techniques overlay of CAD data and photos captured at our surroundings uses. Particularly, The airborne LiDAR surveying which are very interesting trend have laser scanning sensor and determine the ground heights through detecting angle and range to the grounds, and then designated 3-D spatial composite and simulation from urban areas. Therefore in this papers are suggested ease selections on the users situation by compare as various simulations that its generation of 3-D spatial image by collective for downtown space and urban sub, and the implementation methods for more accurate, more select for the best images.

Currently, the spread of mobile devices is gradually increasing. Accordingly, various techniques using images or photos are actively being researched. However, image data generates noise for complex reasons, and the accuracy of image processing increases according to the performance of removing noise. Therefore, noise reduction is one of the essential steps. Salt and pepper noise is a typical impulse noise in the image, and various studies are being conducted to remove the noise. However, existing algorithms have poor noise rejection performance in high frequency areas, and average filters have blurring. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an algorithm that effectively removes salt and pepper noise in the high frequency region as well as the low frequency region using entropy. For objective and accurate judgment of proposed algorithms, MSE and PSNR were used to compare and analyze existing algorithms.

This paper presents a pre-processing method to facilitate the container's BIC-code recognition. We propose a network that can find ROI(Region Of Interests) containing a BIC-code region and estimate a homography matrix for warping. Taking the structure of STN(Spatial Transformer Networks), the proposed network consists of next 3 steps, ROI detection, homography matrix estimation, and warping using the homography estimated in the previous step. It contributes to improving the accuracy of BIC-code recognition by estimating ROI and matrix using the proposed network and correcting perspective distortion of ROI using the estimated matrix. For performance evaluation, five evaluators evaluated the output image as a perfect score of 5 and received an average of 4.25 points, and when visually checked, 224 out of 312 photos are accurately and perfectly corrected, containing ROI.

This study is a research on the Photo-Storytelling applying factors of storytelling based on comics for the children photo education. Creation of new forms of contents has become possible due to the increase of the image creation and consumption in a new digital environment. Along with this development, the capacity for critical image literacy and the children photo education, as cultural arts, are more in demand than ever before. Therefore, the study proposes a new type of Photo-Storytelling that applies storytelling technique based on comics. First, we investigates the format of comics and compares photo and comics. Second, we analyzes photo education, which applies storytelling based on Comics and analyzes advantage it. This study will contribute to the development of basic research for children photo education by presenting a new form of photo education called the comic photos as the Photo-Storytelling program based on comics.

Purpose: This study was conducted to develop case-based self-learning multimedia contents for preventing malpractice that frequently occurred among nurses working in the operating room. Methods: Based on the learning needs of operating room nurses, real case reports, and literature reviews, the case-based multimedia learning contents were developed according to the instructional design procedure. The assessment of learning needs was performed by the combination of surveys using structured questionnaire and of interviews for 40 operating room nurses. Results: The learning contents included four learning modules with real malpractice cases from the areas of operating preparation, nursing skills during operation, environmental management of operating room, and patient safety and observation-related. The 80 minute long case-based multimedia learning contents were finally developed after content validity tests from clinical experts. Each module contained photos, sounds and flash animation with voice recording on the contents of nursing error cases and standardized protocols. Conclusion: The developed multimedia learning contents based on real error cases in this study can be utilized as an educational hands-on training materials for nurses to prevent malpractice in the operating room.

Recently, theservice field based on the location while expanding into a variety of business areas and have generated significant revenue. In particular, the map service provides a variety of information in conjunction with such public transport directions. Therefore, this study evaluated the map service, as one of the key technologies, StreetView and LoadView photographs of panoramic photograph-support service-modules that can be supported on smart phones. For this, purpose sensors were provided to allow smart phone users to easily publish panoramic photographs. The unnecessary parts could be removed from several photos and pictures using the design technology, and the naturalness of the connection could be maintained by applying the algorithm to handle a single photograph. Finally, a system to work with smartphone panoramic photographs was configured and designed to operate a smartphone application panoramic photograph for 6 months.

This study examined social relation of cyber sports supporter's community and social capital as time passes. This study selected spectator sports supporters of cyber sports community based on number of number and history of cyber sports supporter. This community is a representative supporter's club of spectator sports. This study utilized 1,848 members accumulated during three month. To analyze data, Netminer 4.0 and social network analysis were used. The conclusion is following: First, social relation of cyber sports supporter's community showed up dynamic change. Second, social capital of cyber sports supporter's community shows Sports events and training schedules, player transfer, manager, record, game watching and TV watching, cheering, cheering uniform and tools, players, teams and clubs, game photos and video, etc. This is the poor-get-poorer and the rich-get-richer phenomenon.

Contemporary young people reveal their own personal values through the fashion that creates visual looks. Since 2000s began, young generations who are self-centered, value their own personality and constantly seek for changes form the main axis of fashion. In particular, the lower half of the body that has begun to be exposed outward has become the region that they want to expose as more ideal region than the upper half of the body. Further, young generations always have interest in fashion, and female college students in their early 20s are regarded as the group that values the aspects of pleasure that involve clothes and tends to seek sensibility when purchasing clothes. With this background, this study aims to examine how the styles that apply to modern fashion and recent vogues are evaluated with a focus on skinny jean from jean pants styles preferred by female college students. Materials regarding theoretical background and photos were collected from fashion related magazines at home and abroad and from the Internet websites. Questionnaires were surveyed for 160 female college students aged 20 or 25 who live in Seoul, and the results show as follows: Many female college students enjoy skinny jean and follow the fashion. However there are consumers who cling to their own styles even in the fashion of skinny jen. Ironically, some consumers wear it although they consider it as an item that does not fit Koreans: they tend to consider perspectives from others rather than their own preferences. For example, they wear it in order to show it to their boy friends or because they want themselves to look slim. In addition consumers seem to use Dongdaemun Shopping Mall or Internet shopping malls that provide various and low-priced items rather than to use high-priced famous products. It is considered that this result is shown as above because the scope of the study was restricted to female college students in their 20s. Accordingly, it is suggested that further studies should extend their subjects to wider range of ages.
