Up to the present information processing has been studied in the field of radar and electrical communication. However, recently photographic images have been sent and received a laser communication system. This paper is an attempt to discuss a method of information transmittance accomplished by holography. The results of experiment show that two-dimensional photographic images at the output appear with spots and when the degree of intensity of the images produced reach a frequency plane to move towards 40-60.mu., they show a finer effect.
Purpose: The prevalent use of mobile devices may contribute to musculoskeletal disorders, such as forward head posture (FHP), among users. The measurement of the craniovertebral angle (CVA) using photographic images is frequently employed in assessing FHP. Although manual CVA measurement using photographic images is reliable in clinical settings, computer programs or mobile applications to support tele-physical therapy are not yet fully developed. Therefore, in the current study, we propose an automatic method for extracting CVA from photographic images of FHP subjects to facilitate tele-physical therapy. Methods: To develop the automatic CVA measuring computer program, photographic images were obtained from 10 FHP participants. The location information obtained from the markers attached to the tragus and the spinous process of the seventh cervical vertebra were used as coordinates. Using these coordinates, straight line 1 was generated by connecting the seventh spinous process of the cervical vertebra and the tragus, while straight line 2 was drawn parallel to the coordinate obtained from the seventh spinous process of the cervical vertebra. The arc tangent function was used to calculate the angle between the two straight lines. The automatic CVA measurement computer program utilizing photographic images was developed using MATLAB (ver. 2016b). Results: The results showed that the automatic CVA measurement computer program demonstrated stable repeatability and high accuracy. Conclusion: The proposed approach was able to automatically estimate the CVA using photographic images. The developed computer program can potentially be used for easier and more reliable clinical assessment of FHP.

In comparison with conventional types of documents, photographs present special problems in the management of any archives because of their physical properties and the nature and format of their informational content This paper is case study for the effective photographs management at the university archives. At first, sort out photographic images in the university publications, draw up work sheet by the bibliographic information of the photographic images and construct a bibliographic database based on the work sheet. Secondly, the photographic images is linked with bibliographic database. In result, users can confirm immediately photographic images on the screen by searching OPAC. This paper concludes with a problem and improvement of the photograph database at the university archives.
The affective words on photographic images were analyzed and a model was structured. Based on this model, the effects of color on the affections were studied. In study 1, the photographic images with various materials and techniques were presented and the affective responses are collected. The factor analysis using principal axing method showed that the variance of the affective words could be explained about 42% by the three factors. These are named positive-negative, dynamic-static, light-heavy, respectively. In study 2, the effects of color on the affections were evaluated on three basic dimensions. Ninety representative color images were converged black-and-white images, and each of 180 images was rated on the three affective scales. The t-test showed that the effects of color are statistically significant on the three affective scales, respectively. The achromatic images were felt more negative, more static, and heavier than chromatic images.
Our laboratory originally developed the compact, multi-spectral, automatic aerial photographic system PKNU3 to allow greater flexibility in geological and environmental data collection. We are currently developing the PKNU3 system, which consists of a color-infrared spectral camera capable of simultaneous photography in the visible and near-infrared bands; a thermal infrared camera; two computers, each with an 80-gigabyte memory capacity for storing images; an MPEG board that can compress and transfer data to the computers in real-time; and the capability of using a helicopter platform. Before actual aerial photographic testing of the PKNU3, we experimented with each sensor. We analyzed the lens distortion, the sensitivity of the CCD in each band, and the thermal response of the thermal infrared sensor before the aerial photographing. As of September 2004, the PKNU3 development schedule has reached the second phase of testing. As the result of two aerial photographic tests, R, G, B and IR images were taken simultaneously; and images with an overlap rate of 70% using the automatic 1-s interval data recording time could be obtained by PKNU3. Further study is warranted to enhance the system with the addition of gyroscopic and IMU units. We evaluated the PKNU 3 system as a method of environmental remote sensing by comparing each chlorophyll image derived from PKNU 3 photographs. This appraisement was backed up with existing study that resulted in a modest improvement in the linear fit between the measures of chlorophyll and the RVI, NDVI and SAVI images stem from photographs taken by Duncantech MS 3100 which has same spectral configuration with MS 4000 used in PKNU3 system.

As modern computer graphics technology has been developed, it is hard to discriminate computer graphics from photographic images with the naked eye. Advances in graphics technology has brought a lot of convenience to human, it has side effects such as image forgery, malicious edit and fraudulent means. In order to cope with such problems, studies of various algorithms using a feature that represents a characteristic of an image has been processed. In this paper, we verify directly the existing algorithm, and provide new features based a noise that represents the characteristics of the computer graphics well. And this paper introduces the method of using SVM(Support Vector Machine) with features proposed in previous research to improve the discrimination accuracy.
Digital photographic analysis is currently considered as a routine procedure in clinic because periodic follow-up examinations can provide meaningful information for diagnosis. However, it is impractical to separately evaluate all suspicious lesions with conventional digital photographic systems, which have inconsistent characteristics of the environmental conditions. To address the issue, it is necessary for total diagnostic evaluation in clinic to integrate conventional systems. Previously, a multimodal digital photographic imaging system, which provides a conventional color image, parallel and cross polarization color images and a fluorescent color image, was developed for objective evaluation of facial skin lesions. Based on our previous study, we introduce a commercial product, "DermaVision-PRO," for routine use in clinical application in dermatology. We characterize the system and describe the image analysis methods for objective evaluation of skin lesions. In order to demonstrate the validity of the system in dermatology, sample images were obtained from subjects with various skin disorders, and image analysis methods were applied for objective evaluation of those lesions.

To manage the architecture information of Seoul, aerial photographs have been taken and Photographic Interpretation Status Maps(PISP) have been produced through interpretation process. However PISP of SEOUL has a number of errors and difficulties to update maps, owing to its analogue formation by hand skill. In this study, some digitizing methods are tested to make Digital Photographic Interpretation Status Maps(DPISP). The digitizing methods by scanning maps, using ortho-images and true ortho-images, digital correction plotting process, and LiDAR techniques were used for comparative analysis of PISP. As a result of this study, the author suggest DPISP by the digital correction plotting method is proper for economical efficiency and its accuracy of the architecture information.
