장애인 직업평가를 위한 모바일 적성검사 시스템의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of the Mobile Aptitude Test System for Vocational Assessment of People with Disabilities)

  • 직업재활은 장애인이 직업을 통하여 비장애인과 동일한 삶을 영위하게 돕는 과정으로 정확한 직업평가를 통해 수행된다. 이러한 직업평가의 전통적인 방법은 평가도구를 사용하거나 상담 등을 이용한다. 하지만 전통적인 방법에서 사용되는 평가도구들은 일반 사용자들이 사용하기에는 고가이며, 이러한 평가도구를 사용하기 위해서는 보유하고 있는 장애인시설로 이동해야하는 불편함이 있다. 따라서 최근 꾸준히 보급되어 2012년 이용자수가 3천만명을 돌파할 것으로 예상되는 스마트폰을 사용하여 장애인이 직접 직업평가를 수행하는 경우에 시 공간에 제약을 받지 않아 매우 효율적이다. 본 논문에서는 스마트폰용 운영체제의 일종인 안드로이드환경에서 장애인들을 대상으로 직업평가를 수행할 수 있는 모바일 적성검사 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 직업평가 도구로서는 전 세계적으로 진로지도와 상담에서 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 홀랜드 검사를 바탕으로 구현한다.

스마트폰 중독 초등학생을 위한 개입프로그램 메타분석 (Smart phone dependence Intervention Program meta-analysis for elementary school students)

  • 아동의 스마트폰의 무분별한 사용은 일상생활에 장애가 되며 아동의 신체적, 심리적, 관계적인 측면에 부정적인 영향을 미치게 된다. 하지만 스마트폰에 중독된 아동이 날로 늘어나고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 초등학생 대상으로 스마트폰 중독 집단 프로그램의 효과성을 살펴보기 위해 메타분석을 실시하였고, 국내에서 출간된 스마트폰 집단상담 프로그램의 연구 18편을 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 초등학생 스마트폰 중독감소를 유발하는 스마트폰 중독 집단프로그램의 전체 변인의 효과 크기는 g=-0.90로 나타나 집단상담 프로그램이 스마트폰 중독 감소 및 관련 변인들의 변화에도 효과가 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 둘째, 집단 간 차이를 검증한 결과 자발적인 참여 동기에서 효과에 차이가 있었다. 따라서 본연구결과 초등학생을 대상으로 하는 개입은 자발적 참여가 이루어질 수 있도록 사전 스마트폰에 대한 예방 교육이 필요하고, 부모를 대상으로 아동이 스마트폰을 적절히 사용할 수 있도록 하는 자율성을 키울 수 있는 교육이 필요하다. 그리고 이러한 노력이 스마트폰에 한정적으로 이루어지기보다는 IT 리터러시 교육이 체계적으로 이루어질 필요가 있다.

지역사회 대상의 휴대폰 문자메시지를 이용한 건강교육 중재의 효과 (Effects of Health Education using Short Messaging Service of Cellular Phone)

  • Purpose: The aim of the study was to identify the effects of education from using cellular phones and a short messaging service. Methods: Collected data included baseline demographics, blood pressure, abdominal circumference, total cholesterol, body mass index and health behavior index (Dietary Practice Guidelines Score, Physical Activity, Drinking frequency, Stress score, Subjective health status, and Action change stage score). Data were collected at public health centers in Chungcheongnam-do from January to December, 2011. Data obtained from Individual health counseling Programs in Chungcheongnam-do. Analysis was divided into health risk group and Disease management group, using a paired t test. Results: Following the education of using short messaging service of cellular phones Health risk group was a reduction in the systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, waist circumference. Disease management group was a reduction in the systolic blood pressure and body mass index. In both groups, there were improvement in the Health behavior index; dietary practice guidelines score, physical activity, stress score, subjective health status and action change stage scores. Conclusion: These results indicated that education using short messaging service of cellular phone for Community was effective in improving health behaviors and status. By applying the results, development of customized teaching messages for stable settlement is required.

가정폭력 피해자 보호시설의 문제점과 개선방안 (A Study on the Improvement Programs of Shelters for Domestic Violence Victims)

  • This study aims to lay the foundations for domestic welfare through solving domestic problems. The major results of this study were as follows: First, there are many domestic violence facilities, but their poor financial condition and lack of human resources make it difficult to meet all need of shelter users. Second, people who use domestic violence shelters can't receive proper care and they go back to their homes in which violence still remains. It is like a vicious cycle making their situation worse and worse. Third, counseling given to abused women in shelters is arranged individually or in groups, but there are not enough programs providing proper care for them. On the basis of the realities mentioned above, this study was intended to pave the way to work out the improvement programs as follows: First, it is critical that the financial support from the government should be increased. Second, it is necessary to improve the training of personnel concerned with the handling of domestic violence cases. Third, it is important to make sure that children of abused women should be taken care of safely, and temporary jobs for the women should be secured. This will allow domestic violence shelters to serve their true purpose. Lastly, more adequate counseling services such as more instrumental 1366 phone lines, the development of various programs and the follow-up counseling should be reinforced.

택시 운전자들을 위한 스마트폰 앱 기반 걷기운동 프로그램 개발 및 효과: Bandura의 자기효능이론을 중심으로 (Development and Effects of Smartphone App-Based Walking Exercise Program for Taxi Drivers: Based on Bandura's Self Efficacy Theory)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of smart-phone app-based walking exercise programs for taxi drivers on self-efficacy and outcome expectations for exercise, health-related quality of life, walking as an exercise, and physiological indexes. Methods: A nonequivalent control group with a pre-post-test design was used. The subjects were recruited in G metropolitan city. Subjects were assigned to the experimental (n=31) or control groups (n=30). The smart phone app-based walking exercise program consisted of educations via the app, twelve short message services, and one individual telephone counseling session, which was spread over 12 weeks. Results: Self-efficacy, outcome expectations, and health-related quality of life had significantly higher pre-post test differences in scores in the experimental group. Additionally, blood pressure, body mass index, and waist circumference had significantly decreased prepost-test difference levels in the experimental group. Walking as an exercise (which consisted of days walked, number of steps walked, and amount of time walked) had significantly increased in the experimental group after 7~12 weeks in the period following the intervention program rather than 1~6 weeks after the program. Conclusion: The smart phone app-based walking exercise program based on the self-efficacy theory demonstrates a significant effect on improving self-efficacy, outcome expectations physical activities, and health-related quality of life for taxi drivers. Therefore, it is recommended to actively use the program as a tool to promote self-efficacy, physical activities, and health behaviors in taxi drivers.

융복합시대에 대학생의 스마트폰 의존도가 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향: 대인관계 문제의 매개효과 (The Influence of Smart-phone Dependence of University Students on Career Attitude Maturity in the Convergence Era: Mediating Effect of Interpersonal Problem)

  • 연구의 목적은 대학생의 스마트폰 의존도가 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향과 그 경로에서 대인관계 문제의 매개효과를 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위해 서울과 수도권에 소재한 4개 대학의 학생들을 대상으로 설문을 진행하여 총 221부로 실증적인 검증을 위해 구조방정식을 실행하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 대학생의 일상생활 장애와 가상세계 지향이 높으면 대인관계 문제에 정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생의 일상생활 장애와 가상세계 지향이 높으면 진로태도성숙에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대학생의 대인관계 문제는 진로태도성숙에 부적인 영향을 미치며, 스마트폰 의존도와 진로태도성숙 관계에서 모두 완전매개하고 있음을 파악하였다. 따라서 본 연구결과는 대학생의 진로태도성숙을 증진시키는 다양한 프로그램의 개발과 적용에 기초자료로 사용될 수 있음을 시사하였다.

전화 아기건강상담을 통해 나타난 우리나라 어머니들의 육아문제 분석 (Analysis of Telephone Counseling Service on Child Health)

  • This study analyzed the services as operated by the Child Health Telephone Service Center. The Center is a toll free service operated as part of the community services of the Korean Academic Society of Child Health Nursing. The aim of the study was to describe the concerns of child caregivers regarding child health care as discussed during telephone counseling. Specific objectives were as follows: 1. To analyze the activities of the Center. 2. To describe the characteristics of caregivers who made phone calls for counseling services and also the characteristics of their children. 3. To analyze the content of the counseling sessions. 4. To analyze counseling content according to the characteristics of the caregivers and their children. Data used for the study were obtained from the counseling records for the period from Sept. to Dec. 1999, as kept by the three counselors at the Center. The total number of calls was 8,261 and that consisted of 15,150 questions. The total questions were merged into 13,236 by eliminating those questions which overlapped or were of similar content. The final 13,236 questions were used for the final analyses. Almost of the callers (98.4%) were mothers. Among them 89.6% were between 25 and 35 years of age. Geographical distribution of the callers covered the whole nation. The largest numbers who made the calls were from the Seoul metropolitan area (36%), followed by 28% from Kyung Gi Province, and 20% were from the Kyung Sang area. Among 8,261 callers, 72.8% were first users. Sex of the babies and children in question for counseling was about even for males and females and ages ranged from one month to six years. The largest group (62.5%) was the less than six month age group. The finalized 13,236 questions/problems were categorized into 11 problem areas. They were in order of frequency, physical problems, feedings and nutrient concerns, information on child rearing, growth and development, guidance on utilization of child care facilities, elimination problems, sleeping concerns, immunization related concerns, behavior problems, injury and accidents, and safety measures. The most frequent problems for counseling were physical signs and symptoms (27.3%), followed by feeding and nutrients, information on child rearing, and growth and development. Of physical problems, abnormal gastrointestinal signs and symptoms were the most frequent concern and skin problems were next at 25% and 23.3% respectively. Loose bowels, vomiting and constipation were the most frequent gastrointestinal problems. Atopic dermatitis had the highest frequency at 53.3% with diaper rash being the second highest among the skin problems. About 80% of the growth and developmental category were physical development concerns related to physiological, body growth, and motor and sensory development. This study constitutes the activity report for the first year of the Center. The findings correspond with literature reports on child health problems and parents educational needs. One recommendation from this study is that since the services of the Center are carried out only by telephone, the psychology of the counselees and the counselor relationship must be considered for better services.

암을 처음 진단받은 환자를 위한 신환 네비게이션 프로그램 개발 및 효과 평가 (Development and Evaluation of a Navigation Program for Newly Diagnosed Cancer Patients)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to develop a navigation program for newly diagnosed cancer patients and to evaluate its effects. Methods: The navigation program was based upon Professional Navigation Framework. Patients were asked to complete self-administered questionnaires on satisfaction, distress, anxiety and depression for evaluating the program. Results: The navigation program consisted of facilitating two concepts: continuity of care and empowerment of patients. Information-education package, telephone counseling and navigator's phone number were provided to the newly diagnosed cancer patients for care continuity. Self-care diary and emotional support by telephone counseling were provided to the patients for empowerment of patients. A total of 163 patients - 78 control and 85 experimental participants - were included in the study. The mean scores of satisfaction, distress, anxiety and depression had no statistical differences between the two groups after program implementation. In patients with longer waiting days, the experimental group with the navigation program showed higher relational continuity than the control group after program implementation(p=.023). In patients with longer waiting days or with higher distress, satisfaction of relational continuity was improved after program implementation in the experimental group. Conclusion: The navigation program in this study has applied the concept of patient navigation into oncology clinical setting in Korea. Navigation program can play a significant role in assisting patients navigating across the care continuum.

병원 예약부도(No-show) 감소를 위한 예약관리 방안 (Reducing Appointment No-Shows in Hospitals)

  • Purposes: The purpose of this study was to identify the preferred types of the hospital reservation cancellation management to help reduce the reservation cancellations. Methodology: This study sampled 327 outpatients or their guardians who had reserved a university hospital and a general hospital located in the southwestern part of Seoul, and the responses from 300 of them were used for the final analysis. The subjects' preferences of reservation cancellation management types were analyzed in reference to their demographic variables. The timing and frequency of pre-notification preferred by the subjects were examined. A multidimensional scaling methods and correspondence analysis was used to identify preference for management methods of no-show and type of reservation guide. Findings: As a result, 77.3% of the respondents were perceived that the reservation cancellation was a habit. The most preferred method of managing the reservation cancellation would be refusal to refund the reservation deposit (61.7%), followed by payment for cancellation (16.0%), limit of future reservations (16.0%) and penalty (6.3%) in their order. 186 of the subjects (62.0%) preferred the texting for prevention of reservation cancellations, and 102 of the subjects (34.0%) preferred the phone calls. The preferred timing and frequency of the SMS were twice 3 days before, once a day before and three times 7 days before, while the preferred timing and frequency of phone call was once a day before. Practical Implications: The no-show rate can be improved by enhancing SMS pre-notification and by improving afterwards telephone counseling. For other factors, it needs to study on the service differentiation with the characteristics of each patient group.
