According to the increasing of the internet infrastructure and growth of contents technology, the users can access an education service at anytime and anywhere. In a field of English education, especially, internet technology has enabled learners to communicate with their teachers and multimedia contents technology has been able to provide learner not only lots of interests, but also good effect on English learning. In this paper, we propose a method diagnosing learner's level by using some question-items, which consist of item's type and item's function. Futhermore, the proposed system can support three devices which are PC, PDA, and Mobile Phone on wired and wireless internet communication environments. Also, the system provides multimedia contents including flash movies, image, and audio contents. We have applied the system into real classroom, and we verified that the question-items that system provides has no problem, and our method could improve each learner skill on English education. Therefore, we expect that learner who uses the proposed system will get level-based English learning service at anytime and anywhere.

It is well known that the exercising and stimulating of fingers have an important bearing on the brain. We take note of the fact and develope a game device for improving one's health and brain ability in respect of the education and training. Especially, we develope the device focused on the balanced exercising of five finger for improving brain function. The game device is possible to used in two-ways, namely online and off-line mode. In online mode, the device is connected with other visual devices such as smart phone and smart TV and communicated with Bluetooth and it is used as a MMI(multi-modal interface) device. Whereas, in off-line mode the game device works independently and it makes possible to enjoy auditorial and tactual games without video images for promotion of brain activity and emotional cultivation. For certification of the device, we implement two games(a fishing game for off-line mode and a shooting game for online mode) for people of all age, especially good for the elderly. It is usable as a game device to offering the elderly a great help for preventing impairment of the cognitive functions.

Multistage deep-drawing technology is used widely in the production of mobile phone battery cases to improve productivity and economy. To ensure adequate capacity and rigidity, such cases are fabricated as a rectangular cup with a high slender ratio. The multistage deep-drawing of a rectangular cup entails a high slender ratio, and the heights of the product sides may be non-uniform because of the complicated deformation mechanisms. This causes problems in product assembly that affects the surface quality of the case. This study examined a blank shape that minimizes the height variations of the product to resolve the aforementioned problems. Optimization design and analysis were performed to identify the shape that yields the least variation. The long and short sides of an oval blank were set as the design variables. The objective function was set to yield the lowest height difference, and the thickness reduction rate of the product was set to the target range. In addition, the height of the final shape was set as a constraint. The height difference was minimized successfully using the optimized design. The design process of the initial blank for all rectangular shapes can be automated in the future.

Korea is experiencing a rapid increase in the number of elderly living alone accompanying the aging society problem, a nd is making efforts to solve the problem through the policy of 'living alone u-care service'. The purpose of this study is to propose a better u-Care service improvement method by applying new technology to improve the user experience of ucare service for the health and safety of the elderly living alone. First, the improvement of u-Care service for elderly livin g alone by applying IoT technology. It provides remote monitoring service using health information data measured through wearable device, and transmits personal health status to medical institution by using personal device such as smart phone, so that remote medical consultation or telemedicine can be connected in the future. Second, improvement of u-Care service through consideration of emotional stability of elderly living alone as well as simple safety and health care through applica tion of emotional service robot technology.It is expected that it will be able to help independent living of one person's elde rly person in the future by providing caring function service to existing u-care service providing service.
