Analysis of Causal Relationship between Chinese Restaurant Chefs' Work Environment and Burnout : Focused on Moderation Role of Enthusiasm

  • Purpose - The current study attempts to enhance competitiveness by improving Chinese restaurant chefs' work environment and analyzes its effect on work environment and burnout. Also, this study analyzes to see if there is moderation role of enthusiasm between work environment and burnout. Based on analyzation, the present study aims to suggest more effective measure of human resource management by reducing burnout and turnover through providing chefs with more stable and consistent work environment and through their enthusiasm. Research design, data, methodology - Surveys were distributed to chefs working in Chinese restaurant in Seoul and Kyunggi region. Total of 500 surveys were distributed between September 1, 2017 and September 20, 2017 (about 20 days), and 417 surveys were returned to be used in the analysis. Results - As a result of testing effect of chefs' work environment on burnout (1) welfare environment, personal environment, and institution environment had significant effect on loss of accomplishment. (2) welfare, personal, and institution environment had significant effect on deindividuation. (3) welfare environment and institution had significant effect on emotional deprivation while personal environment did not. Second, as a result of analysis on moderation role of obsessive enthusiasm between Chinese restaurant chefs' work environment and burnout (1) as a result of interaction between work environment and loss of accomplishment, personal environment had significant effect while welfare environment and institution environment did not. (2) As a result of interaction between work environment and deindividuation, welfare, personal, and institution environment did not have significant effect. (3) As a result of interaction between work environment and emotional deprivation, institution environment had significant effect while personal environment and welfare environment did not. Conclusions - There is manpower shortage due to poor work environment of Chinese restaurant. Studies that are not limited to work environment are needed to more efficiently utilize human resources.

COVID-19 Related Personal Information Issues and Countermeasures from the Perspective of Record Management (기록관리 관점에서 본 코로나 19 관련 개인정보 이슈와 대응방안)

  • At a time when Korea and the rest of the world recently faced the unprecedented situation of "COVID-19," the view of actively "disclosure" of information to prevent the spread of infectious diseases is at odds with the view of "protecting" personal information as these social measures are coupled with the infringement of individuals' basic rights. In order to see the nation's response to the infectious disease crisis, we examined the current status and characteristics of public records according to crisis alert levels based on the manual for responding to infectious disease. Especially we analyzed the types and disclosure status of records containing personal information. For detecting personal information-related issues on news media, we collected online news articles and performed text anlaysis. Through this, we reviewed the problems of record management including personal information and suggested improvement points from the perspective of the life cycle of records: collect, manage, and dispose of them.

A Theoretical Study on Family-Friendly Management - Dual Agenda Approach - (이중의제접근을 통한 가족친화경영)

  • The purpose of this study is to review previous domestic and foreign studies and to investigate personal work-life harmonization through theoretical research on familyfriendly management using a dual agenda approach. The authors briefly identified trends and critically reviewed domestic researches on family-friendly management and foreign studies of scholars that overcame the limitations of domestic studies to present a foundation for work-life harmonization through a dual agenda approach. As a result, the existing family-friendly management was found to be compatible with work and family but was not effective in developing personal careers. The workers who actively accepted family-friendly management as part of their work-life balance were mostly female laborers who were employed part-time, had lower academic education, earned lower wages and, in general, were non-professional workers without specific skills or career aspirations. The remainder of the workers, full-time male employees, with higher education and with professional knowledge and skills, inevitably worked longer, more labor-intensive hours, due to the advent of the dual agenda approach. A new work-life harmonization program is urgently needed not only for family-friendliness but also for healthy organizations, individual career development and personal wellbeing.

  • The purpose of this study is to analysis factors affecting workers' knowledge sharing intention in a hospital. This study is based on personal factors such as perceived incentives, perceived reciprocal benefits, perceived behavioral control, and subjective norm. Also, there are organizational factors such as organizational climate, CEO's support, rewards system, trust, and IT system. Data were assessed using 107 employees who work at C university hospital in Chunkcheong-do and collected with self-administered questionnaires from April 1 to 13 in 2013. This study was analyzed SPSS 18 by using frequency and multi regression analysis. The results of the study were as follows. First, knowledge sharing intention among personal factors was statistically significant in perceived behavioral control. Second, the awareness of knowledge sharing intention among organizational factors was turned out to be positive effect for CEO's support and trust. This study was identified a couple of factors affecting knowledge sharing intention between personal and organizational factors. The the implications of these factors are discussed and areas for developing hospital management strategies are fostered knowledge sharing.

Verifiable Could-Based Personal Health Record with Recovery Functionality Using Zero-Knowledge Proof (영지식 증명을 활용한 복원 기능을 가진 검증 가능한 클라우드 기반의 개인 건강기록)

  • As the utilize of personal health records increases in recent years, research on cryptographic protocol for protecting personal information of personal health records has been actively conducted. Currently, personal health records are commonly encrypted and outsourced to the cloud. However, this method is limited in verifying the integrity of personal health records, and there is a problem with poor data availability because it is essential to use it in decryption. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a verifiable cloud-based personal health record management scheme using Redactable signature scheme and zero-knowledge proof. Verifiable cloud-based personal health record management scheme can be used to verify the integrity of the original document while preserving privacy by deleting sensitive information by using Redactable signature scheme, and to verify that the redacted document has not been deleted or modified except for the deleted part of the original document by using the zero-knowledge proof. In addition, it is designed to increase the availability of data than the existing management schemes by designing to recover deleted parts only when necessary through the Redact Recovery Authority. And we propose a verifiable cloud-based personal health record management model using the proposed scheme, and analysed its efficiency by implementing the proposed scheme.

Study on the Personal Air-Conditioning System Considering Human Thermal Adaptation (인간의 열적 적응성을 고려한 퍼스널 공조시스템의 개발)

  • In this paper, a personal air-conditioning system considering the human thermal adaptability is analyzed. Although the conventional personal air-conditioner was proofed to be satisfactory in providing for the thermal comfort, it is being questioned on the term of its energy efficiency. Therefore, it is important and urgent to develop new types of personal air-conditioning system with sustainable control strategy that can ensure energy saving and thermal comfort simultaneously. In this study, we first examined the problems of the conventional personal air-conditioning system with field interview and laboratory experiment in terms of usage, management and thermal comfort, and proposed the energy-saving personal air-conditioning system considering the human thermal adaptation. Then a laboratory experiment was performed to analyze the characteristics of the human thermal comfort under severe indoor thermal conditions, which were controlled using a new personal air-conditioning unit designed according to the proposal. The results help to illustrate the alleviation effect of the new personal air-conditioning system, and indicate that the thermal alleviation time is useful to maintain the thermal comfort with efficient usage of energy.

  • The ultimate objective of Personal Information Management (PIM) is to collect, handle and manage wanted information in a systematic way that enables individuals to search the information more easily and effectively, However, existing personal information management systems are usually based on a traditional hierarchical directory model for storing information, limiting effective organization and retrieval of information as well as providing less support in search by associative interrelationship between objects (documents) and their attributes, To improve these problems, in this paper we propose a personal information management model based on the concept lattice of Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) to easily build and maintain individuals' own information on the Web, The proposed system can overcome the limitations of the traditional hierarchy approach as well as supporting search of other useful information by the inter-relationships between objects and their attributes in the concept lattice of FCA beyond a narrow search.

  • Recently, technology using a PC and the personal server efficiently has been highlighted in accordance with the historical background. Solutions for large enterprises and public institutions and PC and personal server management are being commercialized for fee. Paying a fee for PC and personal server management being a burden and commercialized solutions include a function that does not require. In this paper, proposed the PC and personal server management system include monitoring that cpu, hdd, memory, respond speed. It expects to extend the PC and service life is available without charge through the free distribution of the burden. The Development program and application is available for free from the android market and on-line. Server agent program of the proposed system operates based on a single-threaded system. That is low load and the low functional burden on the server.

The Development of Value-Based Children's Financial Education Program and Evaluation of Effect : Focusing on the values of each area of personal finance of 1st to 3rd grade elementary school students (가치기반 아동금융교육 프로그램 개발 및 효과평가: 초등학교 1~3학년 아동의 개인재무관리 영역별 가치를 중심으로)

  • In this study, a value-based children's financial education program was developed focusing on the values of each financial management area needed for children. According to 'quasi-experimental design - non-equivalent control group design', an experimental group and a control group were formed for children in the lower grades of elementary school, and a value-based child financial education program was executed, and then the program was applied to children's personal financial management. The effect on the value propensity for each area was evaluated. As a result of the quantitative evaluation, it was confirmed that the 8 values of the children in the experimental group were significantly improved compared to the children of the control group, so this program was effective in enhancing the values of each of the 8 areas of personal financial management needed for children. In addition, the children in the experimental group showed significant improvement compared to the children in the control group in the cognitive, justice, and psychodynamic levels of values. It has also been found to be effective in enhancing as a result of the qualitative evaluation, various positive changes were found in the cognitive, affective, and psycho-dynamic dimensions about the values of each financial management area for children. From a positive perspective, it was found that it plays a useful role in cultivating the values of each area of positive personal financial management.

  • An era of stabilizing IoT markets and rapid expansion is coming. In an IoT environment, communication environments where objects take the lead in communication can occur depending on the situation, and communication with unspecified IoT environments has increased the need for thorough management of personal sensitive information. Although there are benefits that can be gained by changing environment due to IoT, there are problems where personal sensitive information is transmitted in the name of big data without even knowing it. For the safe management of personal sensitive information transmitted through sensors in IoT environment, the government plans to propose measures to enhance information protection in IoT environment as the use of non-identifiable personal information in IoT environment is expected to be activated in earnest through the amendment of the Data 3 Act and the initial collection method.
