장애인 근로자들의 직무만족도에 미치는 요인 분석: 위생요인과 지역 요인을 중심으로 (Investigating the Factors Affecting Disabled Worker's Job Satisfaction: Emphasis on Hygiene Factors and Regional Factors)

  • 경제적인 요인은 장애인들의 삶의 만족도에 있어 중요하다. 또한 직무만족도가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향은 기존연구들에 의해 검증된 바 있다. 그러나 Herzberg는 동기-위생이론을 통해 임금과 같은 경제적 소득이 위생요인으로서 직무의 불만족을 낮출 뿐 직무의 만족도에는 영향을 주지 못한다고 하였다. 본 연구는 Herzberg의 동기-위생이론에 의문을 제기하고 실증적인 분석을 통해 이를 확인하고자 한다. 이에 국내 2017년 장애인 고용패널조사 데이터를 기반으로 위생요인이 장애인들의 직무만족도에 영향을 주고 있는지 분석하였으며, 나아가 우리나라 주요 지자체를 지역변수로 투입하여 이를 지역적 연구로 확장하였다. 구조방정식 모형을 분석한 결과 근무환경, 대인관계, 개인생활과 같은 위생요인은 장애인 근로자들의 직무만족도에 직접적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 위계적 선형모형을 통해 지역적 요인을 분석한 결과 장애인 근로자들의 직무만족도를 높이기 위해서는 지자체의 교육지원이 무엇보다도 필요하다는 것이 확인되었다.

Organizational Member Attitudes According to Workplace Type of Dental Hygienist

  • Background: This study aimed to investigate whether there is a difference in organizational member attitudes by workplace environment and workplace types in dental hygienists working at dental health centers. Methods: A face-to-face survey or online survey was administered to dental hygienists working at dental health centers, and a total of 95 subjects were included. The survey includes 13 items to ask factors affecting employee's job satisfaction. Also, some questions were included to assess perception of organizational member attitude: five about organizational citizenship behavior, two about innovative behavior, and four about organizational commitment. Results: Dental hygienists working at dental clinics were more satisfied with their incomes and numbers of working days, while those from dental university hospitals and general hospitals were more satisfied with education support. In addition, hygienists working at dental hospitals were more satisfied with job autonomy, individual work capability, safe working environment, personal relation, potential for personal development, and positive labor-management relations, compared to those working at general and university hospitals (p<0.05). Among the items about perception of organizational member attitudes, the scores of items about organizational citizenship behaviors were higher, whereas the scores of items about innovative behaviors were relatively lower. Individuals working at dental hospitals than those working at general and university hospitals, chiefs and team and department leaders than team members, and those with increased satisfaction with current workplace had more positive perception of organizational member attitudes. Conclusion: For dental hygienists to have positive attitudes as organizational members, working environment should be improved, and executives of dental healthcare centers should pay attention to improving job satisfaction of organizational members. Moreover, since dental hygienists need to improve their perception of innovative behaviors and citizenship behaviors to strengthen specialty of dental hygienists in a changing dental healthcare, relevant training should be addressed in refresher courses or school programs.

국내 주요 5성급 호텔의 위생실태 조사와 ATP 결과의 상관분석 평가 연구 (Correlation Analysis of Inspection Results and ATP Bioluminescence Assay for Verification of Hygiene Status at 5 Star Hotels in Korea)

  • 외식산업의 급속한 성장과 함께 호텔을 비롯한 외식업체에서는 식품안전 요구 및 위생에 대한 중요성 이 증가하고 있다. 이에 현장에서 위생상태를 판단할 수 있는 신속하고 실용적인 모니터링기법이 요구된다. 본 연구는 국내5성급 호텔 5군데를 대상으로 개인위생(작업자의 손), 조리기구(칼, 도마, 식품보관용기, 슬라이스 머신 칼날, 제빙기 스쿱), 시설·설비(냉장고 손잡이, 작업대, 싱크대), 고객 접점항목(뷔페용 집게)에 대한 위생관리 실태를 조사하였고 그에 대한 검증법인 ATP 값의 상관관계를 도출하고자 하였다. 5개 호텔의 위생관리 실태조사 결과, 다른 검사 항목보다 상대적으로 조리기구 및 개인위생 결과가 비교적 위생적으로 관리되고 있었으며(조리기구 92.2%, 개인위생 91.4%, 시설·설비 76.19%, 고객 접점항목 88.6%)으로 시설·설비는 비교적 미흡한 것으로 나타났다. ATP검사 결과, 조리 기구(51±45 RLU/25 ㎠)는 시설·설비(167±123 RLU/25 ㎠)보다 비교적 위생적으로 잘 관리되었다. 위생실태 조사 결과 점수와 ATP 값의 상관성 분석을 실시한 결과, 각 호텔 별 작업자 손, 조리기구, 시설·설비의 대부분 음의 상관관계를 가지며 높은 상관성(-0.64 - -0.89)을 보였다. 또한 이번 연구에서 각 검사 항목의 평소 상태의 ATP 값(1020±1254 RLU/25 ㎠)에 비해 세척 후 ATP 값(92±67 RLU/25 ㎠)이 현저히 감소되어 세척의 유효성을 확인하는 도구로 적합성을 확인할 수 있었다. 호텔을 비롯한 외식업체에서 수행하는 주관적인 위생실태조사와 ATP 검사법을 병행한다면, 실시간으로 보이지 않는 오염물질의 객관적인 수치화를 통해 식품사고 발생을 예방하기 위한 효과적인 모니터링 방법이 될 것으로 사료된다.

서울지역 학교급식 위생관리 실태평가 (Assessment of Sanitary Management Practices of School Foodservice Operations in Seoul)

  • 본 연구에서는 서울 소재 초등학교와 고등학교 급식의 위생관리 실태를 분석하므로 학교급식의 안전성을 확보하여 식중독 사고예방 및 급식품질 개선을 이루고자 하였다. 이를 위해 HACCP에 기준한 위생관리 평가도구를 설문지로 개발하여 관리자들이 자가 평가하게 하고,그 결과를 분석하여 위생관리 실태를 파악하고 취약한 부분을 규명하였다. 위생관리 평가도구는 온도 소요시간, 개인위생 및 기기 설비위생의 3영역으로 구분 하여 33문항, 5문항, 15문항씩 총 53문항으로 구성하였다. 평가문항에 대해서는 5점척도를 이용하여 표시하도록 하였다. 조사된 학교는 초등학교 98.4%(253개교), 고등학교 1.6%(19개교)였다. 세 영역중 개인위생에 관한 수행수준은 평균 4.06$\pm$0.57로 나타나 가장 잘 수행되는 것으로 조사되었다. 기기.설비위생의 수행수준은 평균 3.84$\pm$0.53로 나타났고, 온도.소요시간은 평균 3.45$\pm$0.46으로 나타나 보통정도의 수행수준으로 조사되었다. 특히 전체 문항중 수행수준이 가장 낮은 것으로 조사된 ‘조리 후 보관(2.03$\pm$0.94)’의 경우는 현행 학교급식업체들이 조리가 끝난 식품을 취급할 열장 또는 보온 기기, 냉장고를 거의 구비하지 못하고 있으며, 조리된 음식이나 차게 배식하는 음식의 적정 온도유지를 위한 온도계 사용이 전혀 이루어지지 않고 있기 때문인 것으로 사료 된다. 기기 설비위생영역에서 가장 낮은 수행정도를 보인 ‘싱크대의 용도별로 분리사용 여부(3.03$\pm$1.10)’와 ‘손 씻는 시설의 적절한 장소 위치 여부(3.07$\pm$1.13)’의 수행수준을 향상시키려면 적절한 개수의 싱크대를 구비해야 하며, 조리실내에 손 씻는 시설을 갖추어야 할 것이다. 결론적으로 학교급식 안전성 확보를 위한 위생관리 업무 향상을 위해서는 본 연구에서 가장 취약한 부분으로 드러난 시설 및 기기들을 우선 보완해야 할 것으로 사료된다.

커뮤니티케어 기반의 방문구강건강관리 중재 수혜자의 프로그램 운영 관련 인식 및 태도: 근거이론적 접근 (Awareness and attitudes regarding oral care intervention program based on community care for older adults at home : focusing on the grounded theory)

  • Objectives: This study is based on a visiting oral health care intervention program in the community care. This qualitative study was conducted through in-depth interviews to identify awareness and attitudes regarding intervention program among older adults. Methods: The research team visited the homes of the target older adults and conducted in-depth interviews for approximately an hour using a semi-structured questionnaire. The collected voice recordings were transcribed using Clova Note, and AI program by Naver. Using the 'Word Cloud Generator 3.7' program, words of high importance and interest from interview answers were extracted, visualized, and analyzed. Results: Participating older adults acknowledged that their quality of life related to oral health could be improved by increasing the level of oral health awareness and oral health knowledge through the intervention program. In addition, the older adults indicated that their oral hygiene management ability improved compared to before the intervention through expert oral hygiene management and oral health education. Further, as the level of oral health knowledge increased, so too did satisfaction with the intervention program increase. Conclusions: The intervention program for visiting oral health care showed a positive effect on the awareness and attitude of older adults. Thus, it is suggested that education for continuous competency enhancement of dental hygienists and multidisciplinary education for the improvement of general health and quality of life of older adults should be promoted.

Survey of the real-world re-use of disposable dental supplies in dental offices

  • Objectives: To investigate the real-world re-use of disposable dental supplies (DDS) in dental offices and assess the relationship between general characteristics of dental hygienists and reuse of DDS, with respect to infection control characteristics. Methods: A questionnaire was administered to 277 dental hygienists to assess their general characteristics, awareness of infection control/DDS management, and re-use of DDS. Nine DDS were categorized into the following categories based on their purpose: Critical, Semicritical, Noncritical, and Personal protective equipment (PPE). The association between general characteristics of dental hygienists and re-use of DDS, with respect to infection control characteristics, was assessed using the chi-squared test. Results: All 9 DDS were re-used to different extents. The highest reuse rate of supplies were for masks (64.6%), prophylaxis cups (61.0%) and plastic saliva ejectors (30.0%). Overall, 89.5% of the participants re-used DDS; subgroup analysis showed the following proportions of specific DDS re-use: PPE 66.4%; Semicritical DDS 63.9%; Noncritical DDS 19.5%; and Critical DDS 1.8%. Based on the type of clinic, the rate of re-use was higher in dental clinics than dental hospitals. Thus, the re-use of DDS may be caused by inappropriate or nonexistent guidelines or habitual practice, rather than the awareness or attitude of dental hygienists. Conclusions: In order to ensure a safe environment within the dental clinic, DDS classifications must be clearly outlined in the dental infection control guidelines; moreover, additional studies are needed regarding the regulations for DDS re-use and disposal.

일부지역 대학생의 식품위생 안전실태 및 행동인식 조사 (Survey on Actual Status and Recognition of Food Safety among Undergraduate Students)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to find out the actual status and recognition of food safety among undergraduates in some areas and verified the results. Method: 328 undergraduate students at two colleges in J-city, J-province were chosen and data were collected from May 10 to June 20, 2008 and analyzed. For data analysis, SPSS 12.0 Version was utilized. Results: Of the students surveyed 66.8% had experienced food poisoning. Of the students who had experienced food poisoning, 57.1% were treated after food poisoning. 75.6% of the students surveyed said that food safety recognition on food distribution was insufficient. The relationship between expectation and satisfaction of food safety was positive(r=.575, p<.01). Recognition scale of food hygiene behavior was 1.32 points on average. And recognition scale of personal hygiene was 1.24 points and recognition of food management related-hygiene was 1.39 points.

ATP Bioluminescence와 간이미생물배지를 이용한 고등학교 급식시설의 위생상태 조사연구 (Evauation of Hygienic Status of High School Foodservice using ATP Bioluminescence Assay & Microorganism Test Strips)

  • An investigation was conducted to evaluate the hygienic status of 33 high school foodservice systems in Yongin city by using hygiene management guide checklist, ATP bioluminescence assay and microbe inspection petrifilm (APC, coliform group, Staphylococcus aureus) of food utensils during use. The 22 hygiene management guide checklist items about facilities, personal hygiene, food control, distribution, washing and disinfection had good grade but there were some inadequate behaviors on observation. The inspection results showed their sanitary condition met the level B of the recommendation of Korea method, it means sanitary management system get settled but more practical CCP system was needed. ATP bioluminescence assay was conducted on surface of food facilities, ATP ranged 425~2,552 RLU on gloves, 541~70,251 RLU on apron, 1,596~88,490 RLU on working desk, 1,177~263,813 RLU on sterilizer grip, 715~32,814 RLU on sterilizer shelf, 114~619,725 RLU on refrigerator grip, 677~319,007 RLU on refrigerator shelf, 71~196,725 RLU on freezer grip, 1,535~233,375 RLU on freezer shelf. APC ranged $66.7{\pm}29.0CFU$ on freezer grip, $102.1{\pm}35.9CFU$ on refrigerator grip, $45.4{\pm}28.2CFU$ on heating cabinet grip, $58.8{\pm}40.4CFU$ on sterilizer grip, the number of coliform group ranged $5.6{\pm}4.9CFU$ on freezer grip, $9.1{\pm}8.7CFU$ on refrigerator grip, $1.2{\pm}1.1CFU$ on heating cabinet grip, $4.5{\pm}4.4CFU$ on sterilizer grip. S. aureus ranged $8.0{\pm}5.6CFU$ on freezer grip, $12.2{\pm}9.6CFU$ on refrigerator grip, $2.1{\pm}1.6CFU$ on heating cabinet grip, $11.6{\pm}6.4CFU$ on sterilizer grip.

대구지역 치과위생사의 근골격계 질환 자각증상 실태에 관한 조사연구 (Research on the Subjective Symptoms of Musculoskeletal Disorders for Dental Hygienists in Daegu)

  • To devise a plan to efficiently control and cope with musculoskeletal disorders, this study conducted a self-administered survey among dental hygienists working at dental clinics in Daegu. The data were collected from December 1, 2013 to February 28, 2014, and drew the following conclusions. For body posture for medical procedures, at lower levels in their careers, the hygienists' head and back were more bent; at higher levels in their careers, the their shoulders, body and hips were more bent; and at higher levels in their careers, their assistance posture in general was more bent. Hygienists with longer years of experience had more pain in the neck and the arms/elbows. Respondents engaged in medical treatment services were more likely to have pain in their arms/elbows, and those engaged in assisting in medical treatment and consulting and insurance services were more likely to have pain in their necks. It is necessary to recognize the seriousness of musculoskeletal disorders, provide specific education through supplementary training and relevant seminars, and avoid repetitive use of the same muscle or joint through environmental improvement of dental clinics, and personal efforts should be made to maintain good posture.

A Practical Technology for Diagnosis and Management of Diseases in Silkworm Rearing

  • A practical technology for silkworm disease management at farmer\\`s level was suggested and test verified for its efficacy and adaptability. The technology consisted of disinfection of rearing house and appliances, early disease diagnosis, personal and rearing hygiene and silkworm body and rearing seat disinfection. Besides, the supportive techniques associated in disease management are cited. The validation trials of the technology involving 845 farmers crops with 147,530 disease free layings (dfls) of CSR bivoltine hybrids confirmed the effectiveness of the technology which resulted an average yield of 68.98 kg cocoons/100 dfls.
