  • As different news is reported every day in our daily life, the amount of data generated around us is enormous. Some of this data is personal, but there are some things that are common to everyone, such as weather and traffic information. This paper is a study on information transmission using public data to use information effectively and quickly, and investigated open API based on public data and API technology. Based on this, we explain a method of transmitting information using an open API that can be easily used in daily life, and propose a method to transmit information using various open APIs by applying this. If public data is used using the suggested method, it is possible to transmit information more easily and accurately, so it is possible to apply it to various fields.

  • In this study, a survey was conducted and analyzed to provide basic data on hospital infection control measures and education by identifying awareness and practice of hospital infection control among workers at general hospitals in Busan. As a result of conducting a t-test and one-way ANOVA to see the difference in general variables, the awareness and practice of personal hygiene management were generally low, and the awareness and practice of equipment hygiene management were high. In all areas except for men's personal hygiene management, the level of awareness was higher than the level of practice, confirming that the level of practice was insufficient compared to the level of awareness of infection control. As a result of Pearson's correlation analysis, people with high awareness of infection control showed a high level of practice, so it was thought that raising the awareness of infection control among hospital workers would be effective in preventing hospital infection. Therefore, it is considered that it is necessary to raise the awareness of infection control among workers through continuous education on hospital infection control, and to make efforts of hospital workers to practice it.

  • Objectives: The main purpose of this study was to examine factors associated with depression of middle school students in relation to self-esteem, type A behavior pattern, and locus of control. Methods: A survey was administered to a convenience sample of 309 middle school students. The data analysis procedure included frequency distribution, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression using depression as the dependent variable. Results: The prevalence of depression was 27.2%. Stepwise multiple regression revealed that the factors such as self-esteem(${\beta}$=0.422, p<0.001), type A behavior pattern(${\beta}$=0.166, p<0.001), and locus of control(${\beta}$=-0.165, p<0.001) turned out to be significant affecting factors. Forty nine percent of variance in depression was explained by these factors(40% of variance by self-esteem). Conclusions: The findings suggest that personal internalizing variables should be considered when developing mental health education program to prevent the occurrence of depression for middle school students.

  • As stomach cancer is very prevalent in Koreans, various factors, especially dietary factors, related to stomach cancer incidence were examined in a case-control study. The study population consisted of 105 individual s diagnosed for stomach cancer in two general hospitals and 124 control subjects, matched for age and sex, in Seoul. Data for general characteristics, family history, smoking and alcohol consumption, personality , dietary habits and food preference were obtained by self-administered questionnaire and personal interview. Heredity was found to be one of the most important factors causing stomach cancer. In addition, genetic inheritance tended to differ between the sexes. The male patients showed significantly higher incidence of their father's relatives than mother's relatives but the female patients showed higher incidence of their mother's relatives that father's relatives. Smoking was significantly related to stomach cancer. It was also found that the cases drank alcohol more frequently and in much greater quantity than the controls. Personality was related to the incidence of stomach cancer. The cases tended to be more sensitive , impatient, and anxious to do things quickly. With regards to dietary habits, the male cases had meals significantly more irregularly than the male controls. The relative risk of preferencefor salty food and ramen showed to be significantly very high. The male cases consumed carbonated beverages and instant foods, low intake of green yellow vegetables, smoking of cigarettes and drinking of alcohol may contribute to the risk of stomach cancer.

  • Ubiquitous sensor network (USN) is composed of many sensor nodes which are one of the simplest form of embedded system. In developing the sensor network system, a debugging tool is necessary to test and verify the system. Recently, a so-called packet analyzer has been developed for this purpose, and it supports IEEE 802.15.4 which is considered as the standard for the sensor network protocols. The major function of the packet analyzer is to take RF packets from sensor nodes and show the structure and the data of the packets graphically to the user. However, the conventional packet analyzers do not support remote control because they require a USB interface along with a personal computer. To make it available for remote control, we propose a new packet analyzer based on a server-client scheme in which a server program is implemented on embedded Linux and a client program is implemented on Windows for convenient use.

  • According to a diversification of surveillance camera function, they have got to control the surveillance camera utilizing the controller or personal computer. The Method of solution is wired communications and wireless communications. But wired communications are a weak point because that need to use another cable and in case of communication system utilizing the Bluetooth universalized, there is the difficulty in the utility because electricity consumption is big. But the wireless communication utilizing the zigbee protocol is that electiricity consumption is more small than Bluetooth and reliability of data transmission is better. Therefore I designed system for control of surveillance camera with Zigbee protocol.

  • The equipment of industrial robot in manufacturing and assembly lines has rapidly increased. In order to achieve high productivity and flexibility, it becomes very important to develop the visual feedback control system with Off-Line Programming System(OLPS ). We can save much efforts and time in adjusting robots to newly defined workcells by using Off-Line Programming System. A proposed visual calibration scheme is based on position-based visual feedback. The visual calibration system is composed of a personal computer, an image processing board, a video monitor, and one camera. The calibration program firstly generates predicted images of objects in an assumed end-effector position. The process to generate predicted images consists of projection to screen-coordinates, visible range test, and construction of simple silhouette figures. Then, camera images acquired are compared with predicted ones for updating position and orientation data. Computation of error is very simple because the scheme is based on perspective projection, which can be also expanded to experimental results. Computation time can be extremely reduced because the proposed method does not require the precise calculation of tree-dimensional object data and image Jacobian.
