Recent beauty trends focus on suitability to individual features. A personal color system is a recent aesthetic concept that influences color make up and coordination. However, a personal color concept has several weaknesses. For example, type classification is qualitative and not quantitative because its measuring system is a sensory test with no industry standard of personal color system. A quantitative personal color type classification model is the purpose of this study, which can be a solution to above problems. This model is a kind of mapping system in a 3D Cartesian coordinate system which has own axes, Value, Saturation, and Yellowness. The cheek color of the individual sample is also independent variable and personal color type is a dependent variable. In order to construct the model, this study conducted a colorimetric survey on a 993 sampling frequency of Korean women in their 20s and 30s. The significance of this study is as follows. First, through this study, personal color system is established on quantitative color space; in addition, the model has flexibility and scalability because it consisted of independent axis that allows for the inclusion of any other critical variable in the form of variable axis.

This study aims to develop an fashion color design system based on personal color and sensorial images. This web-based system has a parallel structure which a user can search her own personal color, sensorial, and fashion images. The fashion image was presented according to the type of personal color image and sensorial image: futuristic fashion image from alluring image on all of personal color images; elegant fashion images from calm with pure/splendid images or faint/calm with alluring images; modern fashion image from pure/calm with alluring images or faint with lively images; plain fashion image from plain images with all personal color images but pure image; romantic fashion image from calm image with all personal color images but calm image. Fashion color and color combination palettes based on personal color images were presented with the each of those fashion images.

Personal color의 특징은 소비자의 특성이 비중 있게 고려되어야 하고, 섬세하고 sensitive한 반응과 평가가 즉각적으로 feedback 된다는 특징이 있다. 한국인의 색채감성을 반영한 personal color의 기획을 효율적으로 하도록 하고, 또한 한 차원 높은 감성적인 체계분석을 바탕으로 한 보다 과학적이고 합리적인 접근을 시도하기 위한 연구로 PCD system을 개발하고 있다. 이 과정 중에서 화장을 위한 소비자의 특성과 감성 분석기술, 그리고 PCD개발을 위한 색채재현 등의 주변 기술을 소개한다.

To find suitable color for an individual is very important in personal image-making. In recent years, the importance and role of personal image is also more emphasized. This study deals with the necessity d personal color system and the proposal of color which looks nice on a person as a result d personal color system. It also includes the method of making personal image by balancing between and using both favorite color and unfavorite color. Besides, I study how does the color image affect the personal appearance image in this paper. From clinical experiments, I concluded as follow. First, Each person has his suitable color. When the color is used, the color, pimples, flows and so on are covered and defects of his face are made up for. Second, By changing the factors of his own original color-group and decision factors - color d skin, hair, eye, etc -, I can change personal color-group. Third, The image of color affects the personal appearance image, when it used in make-up and hair-color. Considering above results, If one uses one's suitable color, one will complement defects done's face and improve merits of one's. Besides, One will be more confident and active by using one's suitable color.

본 연구의 목적은 퍼스널컬러를 정량적으로 진단할 수 있는 모델을 구축하는 것이다. 현재 사용되고 있는 대표적인 퍼스널컬러용 색채 시스템들은 퍼스널컬러 진단 유형을 지나치게 단순화하거나, 진단 유형간의 객관화된 차이를 구별하기 어렵다는 한계를 가진다. 이를 보완한 새로운 색채 시스템을 개발하기 위해 논리적 배색이 가능한 PCCS 색체계를 도입하고, 색이 가지는 주요 4속성을 토대로 재분류하였다. 기존 색채 시스템보다 다양한 20개의 진단 유형을 제안하였으며, 정량적 방법을 피험자와의 어울림 정도를 평가하여 최적화된 유형을 찾을 수 있게 하였다. 평가 결과를 기호화하여 대입하면 피험자에게 맞는 유형이 도출되는 매트릭스를 고안하여 실험자의 개별 역량과 주관의 개입을 최소화하였다. 최종적으로 속성진단, 기호화, 계절진단의 세 단계로 이루어진 퍼스널컬러의 정량적 진단 모델을 구축하였다. 이는 기존 진단 방법에 다양성, 신뢰성, 정확성을 부여할 것이라 볼 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is according to four Seasonal Color system, the researcher analyzed the Korean Personal color and investigated abstract color preferences and the fashion color preferences to support the Korean color preferences and the rotor recognition trend. The study was conducted according to the following procedures: 144 women from 20s to 50s were selected as participants of the survey and the interview. The fashion color preferences and the personal body color was analyzed by the questionnaire and the interview. The data were analyzed by SPSS 12.0 program. As a way of analysis, crosstabs analysis, correlation analysis, t-test, ANOVA and regression analysis were used. As a results, in the Personal color type of Korean women, it is distributed in the order of spring, summer, winter and autumn. In addition, Light image is highly distributed in the Personal color image. People preferred summer color group in the general color preference and the cosmetic color preference and they preferred winter color type in the clothes color and the suitable color for themselves. In the color recognition, as the color interest increases, the coincidence between suitable color and favorite color increased. The recognition of suitable color, the consideration of color in purchasing and the interest of outward appearances were highly showed.

The purpose of this study is to examine the makeup color range for developing the new makeup product line of domestic cosmetic brand, and suggest the special color stories and color palettes appropriate to characteristics of brand image For this study, personal color images are analyzed and classified through the literature survey of Korean womens' skin rotor like korean PCDS and japanese PCS. Also, a total of 3879 colors were selected from the 18 cosmetic brands and were analyzed by hue/tone color system. Based on the color analysis, the color range for makeup products are determined, and the typical colors of 4 personal color images are suggested. As a results, personal color images are classified into 4 types: DEW of p, lt, b tone; FLASH of s, v tone; MIST of ltg, g, sf, d tone; TERRA of dk, dkg, dp tone. we developed the color stories through five senses and lifestyles based on the consumers' emotion, and the rotor palettes suitable to each type of personal color images are developed.

The currently used personal color analysis is mostly based on Westerners' skin colors. As a result, the suggested colors are often not suitable for Korean people's skin colors. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to develop 'Personal Color Design System(PCDS)' that can suggest fashionable colors suitable for Korean skin colors and personal color types. For this, the system was verified by customers testing and questionnaires, while the system modification and complementary measures were conducted.

This study performed a simultaneous sensory evaluation and color measurement, targeting 136 female university students who live in the Dae-Jeon region. the study measured participants'facial coloration under the condition of available light between 11 AM and 3 PM from Spring (May) to Autumn (October) in 2009. For statistical analysis, descriptive statistics, a member variate analysis, and discriminant analysis were executed using SPSS version 18.0 of the statistics program. The results of this study are as follows. First, as a result of the sensory evaluation, the blue undertone well matched to face type was dominantly distributed among the female university student participants. Second, the forehead showed a type of yellowish coloration and was relatively dark to cheeks. However the cheek displayed a reddish coloration and was relatively bright compared to the forehead from an evaluation of a cheek and forehead color measurement. Third, due to the investigation the of facial coloration variable, a yellowish and reddish chromaticity on the cheek were evident as a variable of facial coloration, which has an influence on the classification of the types of facial color. As a result of the induced discriminant through these two color variables, the yellowish chromaticity appeared as a color variable to have a greater influence than the reddish chromaticity on the cheek.

본 연구의 목적은 2015 개정 중학교 실과(기술·가정) 교육과정의 '옷차림과 의복 마련' 단원을 중심으로 퍼스널 컬러를 활용한 수업안을 개발하고 실행하여, 이 수업이 중학생에게 미치는 효과를 알아보는 데 있다. 이를 위해 퍼스널 컬러를 활용한 '옷차림과 자기표현' 부분의 교육과정을 재구성하고 이에 해당하는 교수·학습 과정안과 교수·학습 자료를 개발하여 실제 학교 현장에서 실행한 뒤, 자아정체감 및 의생활 태도의 변화와 수업 만족감에 대해 알아보았다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 퍼스널 컬러를 활용한 '옷차림과 의복 마련' 단원의 수업 실행 결과, 사전보다 사후에 학생들의 자아정체감과 의생활 태도가 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 또한 수업 만족감에 대한 면담 조사 결과, 학생들은 수업에 대해 전반적으로 만족한 것으로 나타났다. 퍼스널 컬러를 활용한 '옷차림과 의복 마련' 단원의 수업을 중학교 가정과 의생활 수업에서 널리 활용한다면 청소년기 학생들에게 긍정적인 영향을 주고, 의미 있는 수업 자료를 찾고 있는 현장 교사들에게도 큰 도움을 줄 수 있으리라 기대한다.
