After being introduced into franchises industry, franchise has made a phenomenal growth in a short time and a substantial contribution to job creation and economic revitalization. Nevertheless, franchise business operators failed a business or low profit because of a lack of information and indiscriminate foundation. Therefore the first object of this study is characteristics of franchise's factors on disclosure agreement in franchise associate website. second is examinations about casual relationship between factor and franchise performance with using Excel and SPSS 18.0 versions. The findings of present study were as follows. First, franchises manage small business mostly(financial data, scale so on) and franchise's type focused the food service industry. Specially, a business district select unprotected contract. Second, in franchise's factors, we could find statistically significant effect on annual average sales and annual average net profit. However growth rate of franchise don't have statistically significant effect. Third, we could find statistically significant difference on analysis both franchises' factors and financial data. In conclusion, we must consider of franchise industry environment and success effect on performance in starting one's business. Furthermore franchises plan ways for their sustained growth and protection of rights and interests. Finally business operator draw up their information and upgrade continuously for franchises industry growth. Discussion and theoretical and managerial implications of the results were described along with future franchise research suggestions.

The impact of Korea's joining the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals(CMS) was analyzed to examine its merits and faults as well as to discuss Korea's opportunities. Results of the analysis based on the agenda and decisions of the Conferences of the Parties, the parties performance, and other committees meetings over the last decades indicated that the affiliation of Korea into the CMS could provide various advantages and opportunities for Korea. First, Korea could upgrade its conservation activities regarding migratory species to the global aspects. Second, Korea could take initiatives for conservation of the migratory species in the Far East Asia. Third, Korea would have a better system in forecasting and problem-solving against the epidermic Avian Influenza through systematic cooperation with the CMS parties and other related international regimes. Finally, Korea will be in a better position to generate statistical data and to develop techniques to reduce the by-catches of the sharks and whales. Korea has already provided a fair and protective institutions for most of the migratory endangered species listed under Appendix I and II of the CMS. This implies that Korea may not require additional major changes to the basic acts and/or legislation. Joining the CMS may negatively impact on the fisheries and related businesses related to whales and sharks around the Ulsan and Pohang provinces. However, the obligation to protect whales and sharks demanded by the CMS is regarded as an acceptable article in Korea according to the analysis of the existing policies and scientific aspects. Nevertheless, if the joining the CMS should generate irreversible hardship for local people's livelihood and cultural aspects, Korea may ask for reservations on particular activities. Overall, we suggest that by joining the CMS, Korea could see various advantages and promotion in national policy.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper was to investigate opinions and experiences of hospital CEOs' and QI managers toward the National Hospital Evaluation Program which was implemented in 2004 and to recommend various strategies to improve the program. Methods: We conducted a mail survey with CEOs and QI　managers' of 78 hospitals with 500 beds or more that participated the 2004 National Hospital Evaluation Program. Results: About 70.8% of the participating CEOs and 64.0% of the QI　managers felt that the objectives of the evaluation program weren't fully achieved. Most respondents said that the current program required a partial or an overall change. Evaluation Criteria was the most often cited area for a change. Many respondents pointed out the importance of including clinical quality indicators in the evaluation tool. Conclusions: To upgrade hospital services with better quality, it is most important to first reach consensus on objectives and approaches of the evaluation program among various players. For a consistent planning and implementation, it is urgent to set up a more systematic organization and financing mechanism. Also, evaluation approaches, including evaluation criteria, methods, patient satisfaction assessment, as well as ways to summarize and publicize each hospital's performance should be improved.

Recently, IALA has introduced AIS AtoN and standardized Aids to Navigation communication system and the World-wide IALA-Net has announced plans to build the system. Systematic beacon network may offer opportunities to make infrastructure for information service and upgrade AtoN service performance. This paper proposes Aids to Navigation information service network for e-NAV. Network based on AIS is consist of AIS AtoN channels as Real, Synthetic or Virtual AIS AtoN. And inner network is consist of Wireless networks as AIS, WCDMA, WIFI, WlBRO, USN or VSAT. Introducing of various network systems can lead to combine and design among land, beacon and service network infrastructures.

Recently automotive markets are on the way into maturing status with the mega merger between makers which brought equalizations of technology and upgrade of overall performance of vehicles. For the reason why it is the recent trend which has more importance on the software oriented element such as the style design of vehicles than the hardware such as the mechanical elements. This changing characteristics of automotive design which requires more creativity and finished style treatment on an automotive design demand the specific method of designing from the lingual concept of the vehicle. In this research the possibility has been observed the design elements between the greenhouse of the vehicle body with analyzing the shape elements of it and the change of the characteristics of body shape had been observed. The possibility of extract of creating the method of specifying the shape from the lingual concept had been examined either.

This study was undertaken to summarize of the efficiencies of the passive treatment system and suggest future studies for the solution of mine drainage problem. Flow rates of mine drainage from the abandoned coal mines are about 80,000 ton/day. Contaminated mine drainages over about 50 ton/day of flow rate were treated by passive treatment facilities such as Successive Alkalinity Producing Systems(SAPS), oxidation pond and oxic wetland. Chemical analysis for 13 passive coal mine treatment facilities showed that SAPS was the core of treatment facilities because the variation of Fe removal rates was relatively smaller than any other processes and re-leaching of Fe was not measured. The performance and life of SAPS depended on decrease in permeability and retention time due to accumulation of sludge. It is inferred that upgrade of design of the passive treatment system and in-situ treatment using underground void will be necessary for the amelioration of the mine drainage with high metal loading rates.

The purpose of this study is to verify the effects of personalized learning platforms applied with machine learning recommendation modules that upgrade recommended algorithms by themselves through learning big data analysis on students' learning time, self-directed learning ability, mathematics achievement, and attitudes toward mathematics, and the correlation between them. According to the study, customized learning affected learning time, self-directed learning ability and mathematics attitude, while learning time affected self-directed learning ability. Self-directed learning ability has had a significant impact on the attitude of mathematics and mathematical achievements. As a result of the mediated effectiveness test, the indirect impact of customized learning on mathematics attitude and mathematics performance was significant through the medium of learning time and self-directed learning ability.

For the performance upgrade of a supersonic jet fighter, the processor and FLCC(Flight Control Computer) Architecture were upgraded from a baseline FLCC. Prior to the hardware implementation phase, the exact CPU throughput estimation is necessary. For this purpose, an experimental method for new FLCC throughput estimation was introduced in this study.　While baseline FLCC operating, the CPU address bus was collected with logic analyzer, and then decoded to get the exact access times to each memory-memory and the number of program Instruction branches. Based on these data, a throughput test in CPU demo-board of the new FLCC configuration was performed. From test results, the CPU-Memory architecture was design-changed before FLCC hardware implementation phase. To check the flight stability degradation due to power-interrupt problem due to CPU-Memory architecture change, the piloted HILS (Hardware-In-the Loop Simulator) test was conducted.

In this research the possibility has been observed to use the body proportion as the concept of the shape grammar for analyzing the relations between the form, sign, and perception as a basic principle of organizing shapes.

In this paper, we can confirm the result of intuitive interface software implementation for operating a digital PA(Public Address) controller and the performance of audio mixer control part. Developed user interface software provides the maintaining management and control function of digital hybrid mixer. This SW loaded in the integrated control server controls an sound status of the audio mixer TAD-168M and checks the device status for Public Address integrated system. Also, this SW enables the integrated control and the continuous upgrade. Developed SW is connected to TAD-168M with Ethernet and linked to PC Lan port and the 4-port switch, located in the backside of TAD-168M, by LAN cable for communicating with operating PC. Integrated control including system management, audio control and uplink broadcasting control for broadcasting system will be made available with this novel developed system.
