운영체제 업그레이드 의도에 관한 연구: 마이크로소프트 윈도우 사용자를 중심으로 (What Motivates Users to Upgrade the Operating Systems?)

  • 본 연구는 윈도우 사용자가 구 버전의 운영체제를 상위 버전으로 업그레이드하는 동기에 대해 논의한다. 본 연구문제를 논의하기 위해 통합기술수용이론(UTAUT)과 합리적 행위이론(TRA)을 바탕으로 연구가설을 구성했다. 대학생을 대상으로 199부의 데이터를 수집해 분석에 이용했다. 분석결과는 두 가지로 요약된다. 첫째, 성과기대와 노력기대는 운영체제 업그레이드 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회적 영향과 용이한 조건, 그리고 태도는 운영체제 업그레이드 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서 사용자의 성과기대, 노력기대, 사회적 영향, 그리고 용이한 조건 인식이 높을수록 상위 버전으로 업그레이드하고자 하는 의도는 더욱 긍정적으로 평가한다고 볼 수 있다.

Structural health monitoring of the Jiangyin Bridge: system upgrade and data analysis

  • The Jiangyin Bridge is a suspension bridge with a main span of 1385 m over the Yangtze River in Jiangsu Province, China. Being the first bridge with a main span exceeding 1 km in Chinese mainland, it had been instrumented with a structural health monitoring (SHM) system when completed in 1999. After operation for several years, it was found with malfunction in sensors and data acquisition units, and insufficient sensors to provide necessary information for structural health evaluation. This study reports the SHM system upgrade project on the Jiangyin Bridge. Although implementations of SHM system have been reported worldwide, few studies are available on the upgrade of SHM system so far. Recognizing this, the upgrade of original SHM system for the bridge is first discussed in detail. Especially, lessons learned from the original SHM system are applied to the design of upgraded SHM system right away. Then, performance assessment of the bridge, including: (i) characterization of temperature profiles and effects; (ii) recognition of wind characteristics and effects; and (iii) identification of modal properties, is carried out by making use of the long-term monitoring data obtained from the upgraded SHM system. Emphasis is placed on the verification of design assumptions and prediction of bridge behavior or extreme responses. The results may provide the baseline for structural health evaluation.

  • Micro jetting drop inspection system is essential to measuring micro drop volume. Measuring pico-liter drop volume is useful for new LCD color filter product process that is based on inkjet printing technology. To upgrade the reliability in drop measurement system, we use the auto focusing & multi drop reiteration & blurring average algorism. First of all we used standard mark for gage R&R in the vision system. Finding the most suitable threshold for multi blurring drop, is the main key of this research. Sensitivity of vision system is a standard in measuring the upgrade system level. So, suitable threshold can upgrade the performance of jetting drop inspection system.

  • Upgrade development of a high pressure ratio centrifugal compressor in marine engine turbochargers is presented. A new matched operating point at increased speed of rotation was determined through system cycle analysis using the exisitng test data of turbine performance. Under some severe restrictions for geometric parameters, the state-of-the-art methods of both aerodynamic design and CFD analysis were applied, in which only an impeller, a vaned diffuser and some part of casing wall were modified. Prototype hardware was fabricated and assembled for system performance tests. Excellent performance in pressure ratio and efficiency was obtained over whole speed region. Reduced surge and choke margin was, however, observed at design speed of rotation.

병렬 구조에 의한 가변 논리제어장치의 기능적 설계 (A Functional Design of Programmable Logic Controller Based on Parallel Architecture)

  • PLC(programmable logic controller) system is widely used for the control of factory. PLC system receives ladder diagram which is drawn by the user to implement hardware logic, converts the ladder diagram into sequence program which is executable in the PLC system, and executes the sequence program indefinitely unless user breaks. The sequence program processes the data of on/off signal, and endures 1 scan delay and missing of pulse-type signal shorter than a scan time. So, data dependency doesn't exist. By applying theis characteristics to multiprocessor architecture, we design parellel PLC functionally and evaluate performance upgrade. Parallel PLC consists of central processing module, N general processing unit, and a shared memory by master-slave type. Each module executes allocated sequence program by the control of central processing module. We can expect performance upgrade by parallel processing, and reliability by relocation of sequence program when error occurs in processing module.

  • A Performance Based Design procedure for retrofitting the RC frame with friction dampers is described. The Capacity Diagram Method procedure is used to estimate the inelastic response of the example model. The example models were retrofitted using SBC dampers and the retrofitted example models were computation ally modeled. The results show that the performance of the retrofitted frame satisfies the target objective.

차량성능을 고려한 최대종단경사 합리화 연구 (Theoretical Review of Highway Grades Considering Vehicle Performances)

  • 도로의 최대종단경사는 차량의 등판능력에 좌우된다. 과거에 비해 차량의 성능이 좋아질수록 도로의 최대종단경사는 조정될 수 있다. 하지만, 미국(AASHTO, 1990, 2004)에서는 설계기준트럭이 300lb/hp에서 200lb/hp로 성능이 상승했음에도 불구하고, 적용되는 최대 종단경사는 거의 변화가 없다. 따라서, 현재 차량의 성능을 고려한 최대종단경사의 검토 및 조정의 검토가 필요한 실정이다. 특히 국내의 지형은 산악지가 많고, 험준한 지역이 많으므로 실정에 맞도록 최대종단경사의 검토가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 차량의 성능의 개선과 도로 설계자가 당면한 결정의 문제를 인식하고 세계 각국의 지형과 최대종단경사 적용기준을 비교하여 우리나라의 최대종단경사의 적정성을 확인한다. 또한, 교통시뮬레이션 프로그램을 이용하여 차량의 성능향상에 따른 새로운 트럭 성능곡선을 토대로 최대종단경사를 판단한 결과 $1{\sim}2%$ 정도 종단경사 완화가 가능한 것으로 판단한다.

  • Input/output equations in SDINS IMU are modeled from survey of IMU data flow. Given without precise equipments which can generate acceleration and angular velocity, a simple method is derived to calibrate the parameters of i/o eqijations. Also in order to upgrade ins performance, methods to estimate variant magnitudes of time variant parameters are surveyed.
