Suggestion of the Characteristics of Element Technology and the Standard Model through the Comparison of Domestic Zero-energy Houses (국내 에너지제로하우스 비교를 통한 요소기술 특성 및 표준 모델 제시에 관한 연구)

  • Five zero energy house models developed in Korea for the purpose of the energy performance were compared and analyzed in the study. The standard passive house model applying common technology and efficient energy performance elements was proposed. Standard passive house 5 models have been developed commonly aiming at 100% energy saving, applying high-performance and high-efficiency exterior thermal insulation, using 3 low-e coated window system, and targeting average 0.65 ACH to enhance privacy. Energy recovery ventilators and dry and cold radiant heating floor has been partially applied. Eco-design techniques such as the awning device, heat insulating door, using natural light have been used. Solar and geothermal systems as the application of renewable energy technologies have been commonly applied. And fuel cells were applied to a partial model. The standard model based on common technical elements and average performance of each element and obtained from five model analysis has been proposed in the study.

Need a estimation technology and standard of test method for safety and performance considering usage environment of U-Healthcare medical device. In this research, developed the standard of test method for usage environment safety and performance of U-Healthcare medical device referring IEC standards and KS standards.

  • In this paper, we review the four receiver architectures and four methods for multi-standard receiver design. Propose reconfigurable RF block can be used for both low-IF and direct conversion architecture. Also, using reconfigurable mixer method, it can be operated at $2{\sim}6$ GHz range for multi-standard receiver. It consists of wideband mixer, filter, and automatic gain control amplifier and to get wide-band operation, $2{\sim}6$ GHz, wide-band mixer use flexible input matching method. Besides, to design multi-standard receiver, LNA bank that support each standard is necessary and it has good performance to compensate the performance of wide-band mixer. Finally, we design and simulate proposed reconfigurable RF block and to prove that it has acceptable performances for various wireless standards, the LNA bank that supports both IEEE 802.11a/b/g and WCDMA is also designed and simulated with it.

Performance Analysis of Future Video Coding (FVC) Standard Technology

  • The Future Video Coding (FVC) is a new state of the art video compression standard that is going to standardize, as the next generation of High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) standard. The FVC standard applies newly designed block structure, which is called quadtree plus binary tree (QTBT) to improve the coding efficiency. Also, intra and inter prediction parts were changed to improve the coding performance when comparing to the previous coding standard such as HEVC and H.264/AVC. Experimental results shows that we are able to achieve the average BD-rate reduction of 25.46%, 38.00% and 35.78% for Y, U and V, respectively. In terms of complexity, the FVC takes about 14 times longer than the consumed time of HEVC encoder.

  • Recently, the using of prefabricated temporary equipments is increasing in the industrial field because it can reduce the installation and dismantling period. The various types of prefabricated temporary equipments are manufacturing with various materials in domestic and overseas countries. However, those equipments should win the safety certificate according to the "Governmental Notification about Safety Certification" which regulate the member-based safety certification. It tends to cause over performance of temporary equipments because it couldn't consider structural benefit of the prefabricated products. As the result of this study, it is concluded that the establishment of new safety certification standard for the prefabricated temporary equipments is resonable and the movable scaffold is appropriate for those prefabricated temporary equipment. The movable scaffolds are using as single structure and cannot be expands horizontally. Other types of temporary equipments are using as complex structure which can freely expand horizontally according to the main structure. From the results of the study, the standard of vertical compression performance of prefabricated movable scaffolds should be more than double the performance of single main frame. Other test items of safety certification standard should be fixed when the Notification is amended. The prefabricated temporary equipments which are adopted for the safety standard on assembled structure should be used, moved and kept in assembled state and not separated discretionally. The establishment of new standard for the assembled structure based on this study leads to the development of various types of temporary equipments using structural efficiency of prefabricated structure.

  • The need for zero-energy building is increasing as a means of actively responding to climate change. Since pipe insulation is a factor that minimizes heat loss of cooling and heating facilities, it is necessary to check pipe insulation standards and prepare improvement plans of preparation for certification of zero energy buildings. In this study, domestic pipe insulation standards were checked to prepare new insulation standards based on energy performance. Through the development of a pipe insulation calculation program, the heat loss according to the insulation thickness of the piping for mechanical facilities was compared and reviewed. As a result, applying the insulation thickness of the KCS standard for the same conditions increased the heat loss by an average of 10% compared to the ASHRAE standard. For this reason, it is necessary to revise the pipe insulation thickness standard in consideration of heat loss due to thermal conductivity and pipe insulation thickness. Using the program in this paper, it is possible to design pipe insulation based on energy performance and help to determine the standard for pipe insulation thickness.

Effect of Ethical Awareness about Pandemic and Health Beliefs of Standard Precaution on the Performance Standard Precaution of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 팬데믹에 대한 윤리인식과 표준주의 건강신념이 표준주의 수행도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to find the effects of ethical awareness about pandemic and health beliefs of standard precaution on performance standard precaution of nursing students. The survey was performed on 163 nursing students in three universities. Data were collected using a structured questionnaires and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression with SPSS 25.0 program. Study findings revealed that performance standard precautions was significantly correlated with ethical awareness about pandemic(r=.17, p=.033), perceived susceptibility(r=.33, p<.001), perceived severity (r=.24, p=.003), perceived benefits(r=.35, p<.001) and perceived obstruction(r=-.31, p<.001). The factors that had the influences on performance standard precaution were the perceived benefits(β=.20, p=.014)) and perceived obstruction(β=-.20, p=.008). And the explanation power of the regression model appeared as being 18.1%(F=8.09, p<.001). It is necessary to develop a systematic infection education program that considers ethical awareness, and perceived severity and obstruction among health beliefs of standard precaution to improve performance standard precaution of nursing students.

  • The standard of performance-based seismic design accepted by Ministry of Construction and Transport requires to install and manage earthquake instruments for the facilities of seismic category I and to acquire earthquake response data of these facilities at earthquake events. So detailed standard and guideline for installation and management of earthquake instruments for each facilities according to the seismic design standard are getting ready. This paper presents the part of installation locations of sensors in that detaile standard and guideline.
