노인장기요양시설의 서비스 구성요인이 조직성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The impact of service composition factor on organizational performance of long term care facilities for the elderly people)

  • 본 연구는 노인장기요양시설의 위탁과 직영이라는 운영형태에 따른 조직성과의 차이와 노인복지시설 서비스관리 구성요인과 조직성과간의 관계를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 2012년 9월 현재, 서울, 인천, 경기도 등 수도권 지역에 위치한 민간위탁 및 공공직영 노인요양시설의 종사자를 대상으로 삼았다. 독립변수로서 조직성과 결정요인이 될 서비스관리요소는 리더십, 교육훈련, 보상, 참여, 서비스품질이며, 종속변수인 조직성과는 직무만족, 업무성과, 재무적성과, 수혜자지향성으로 선정하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서비스관리 구성요인이 직무만족에 미치는 영향은 회귀분석 유의수준의 .001(F=37.429)으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났고 정의관계로 나타났다. 둘째, 서비스관리 구성요인이 업무성과에 미치는 영향은 회귀분석 유의수준의 .001(F=55.099)에서 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 서비스관리 구성요인이 재무적성과에 미치는 영향은 회귀분석 유의수준의 .001(F=56.904)에서 유의한 것으로 나타났으며 정의 관계로 나타났다, 넷째, 서비스관리 구성요인이 수혜자지향성에 미치는 영향은 회귀분석 유의수준의 .001(F=61.367)에서 유의한 것으로 나타났으며 서비스 구성요인 중 직원의 보상이 가장 커다란 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 사회복지 정책적 함의를 제시하였다.

  • 국내 정보시스템 문헌에서는 형성적 구성변수에 대한 연구가 거의 없다. 따라서 올바른 구성변수와 측정변수의 관계, 즉 반영적 혹은 형성적 구성변수의 설정은 가장 현실에 가까운 성과 평가와 올바른 인과모형을 검정하는 데 필수적이다. 본 연구 목적은 포괄적인 문헌 고찰로 반영지표와 형성지표에 대해 정확히 이해하고 올바른 구성 및 개발 방법론을 정보시스템 평가 분야에 적용하는 것이다. 그리고 정보시스템 성과 평가에 대한 형성적 지표를 개발할 수 있는 올바른 지침을 제시하는 것이다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하고자 다음과 같은 연구과정을 수행하였다. 먼저, 정보화사업 성과 요인과 성과 평가에 관한 기저 이론과 선행 연구 모형을 검토하였다. 그리고 정보화사업 성과 평가 구성변수와 평가지표 개발 및 타당성 검증을 위한 지침(Guideline)을 통하여 정보화사업 성과 평가에 대한 올바른 형성적 구성변수 및 반영적 구성변수를 식별하였다. 이에 따라, 체계적으로 구성변수를 올바르게 식별 및 분류하여, 향후 연구자가 정보화사업 성과 평가 구성변수의 올바른 구성변수를 개발할 수 있도록 하였다.

방파제 성능개선을 위한 평가항목 개발 (Development of Evaluation Factors for Breakwater Rehabilitation)

  • 국내에서 항만의 방파제는 안전점검 및 안전진단을 통해 기술적 상태평가를 수행하고, 필요 시 해당 시설물에 대해 유지관리를 수행한다. 그러나 최근 생애주기비용(Life Cycle Cost, LCC) 측면에서 기반시설에 대한 관리의 필요성이 증가함에 따라 「지속가능한 기반시설 관리 기본법」이 제정되고, 방파제의 기술적 부분만 평가했던 기존 평가방식에 경제성 평가 및 정책성 평가가 추가되어 성능개선을 통해 방파제에 대한 종합적인 관리가 가능해질 것으로 예측하고 있다. 이러한 이유로 본 연구는 「지속가능한 기반시설 관리 기본법」에서 규정하고 있는 총공사비 500억 미만의 방파제 성능개선사업을 대상으로 성능개선사업의 세부평가항목 및 방법 등을 개발하여 평가방안을 제시하고, 향후 실무에 적용될 성능개선 평가를 위한 방파제 성능개선 평가항목 및 평가방법의 개발 방향을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구는 유지관리 및 성능개선의 개념 검토, 성능개선 관련 문헌조사, 성능개선 공통기준 사업유형 검토, 방파제 성능개선 평가항목 및 평가방법(안) 도출, 전문가 검토 등의 순서로 수행하였으며, 도출한 방파제 성능개선에 대한 평가방안은 지금까지 기술적 상태평가에 국한된 유지관리 업무에 성능개선을 적용한 구체적인 평가방법을 제시한 것으로 시설물의 선제적 관리 및 안전사고 예방에 활용 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

Selecting Ordering Policy and Items Classification Based on Canonical Correlation and Cluster Analysis

  • It is difficult to find an appropriate ordering policy for a many types of items. One of the reasons for this difficulty is that each item has a different demand trend. We will classify items by shipment trend and then decide the ordering policy for each item category. In this study, we indicate that categorizing items from their statistical characteristics leads to an ordering policy suitable for that category. We analyze the ordering policy and shipment trend and propose a new method for selecting the ordering policy which is based on finding the strongest relation between the classification of the items and the ordering policy. In our numerical experiment, from actual shipment data of about 5,000 items over the past year, we calculated many statistics that represent the trend of each item. Next, we applied the canonical correlation analysis between the evaluations of ordering policies and the various statistics. Furthermore, we applied the cluster analysis on the statistics concerning the performance of ordering policies. Finally, we separate items into several categories and show that the appropriate ordering policies are different for each category.

제동 시스템에서 고속 저더 개선 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study for High Speed Judder Evaluation on Brake System)

  • This paper deals with experimental evaluation methods for high speed judder on the brake-caliper system. Firstly, two types of brake caliper systems due to the wheel vibration was evaluated. Secondly, the high-speed judder of the brake was also investigated using the subjective rating evaluation in the high-speed road test. These experimental evaluations were carried out by changing the materials of brake pad and the specifications of the brake-corner module. Based upon the test results, a new specification of the brake pad, $15{\times}5$ vertical chamfer, was proposed. The new brake pad showed 3 points, 60 %, improvement in the subjective-rating evaluation comparing with conventional one. Besides, we need to decide properly with judder characteristic of pad material and have to carefully take into consideration other design parameters; caliper, disc, and the braking performance, durability, squeal noise.

A Kalman Filter based Video Denoising Method Using Intensity and Structure Tensor

  • We propose a video denoising method based on Kalman filter to reduce the noise in video sequences. Firstly, with the strong spatiotemporal correlations of neighboring frames, motion estimation is performed on video frames consisting of previous denoised frames and current noisy frame based on intensity and structure tensor. The current noisy frame is processed in temporal domain by using motion estimation result as the parameter in the Kalman filter, while it is also processed in spatial domain using the Wiener filter. Finally, by weighting the denoised frames from the Kalman and the Wiener filtering, a satisfactory result can be obtained. Experimental results show that the performance of our proposed method is competitive when compared with state-of-the-art video denoising algorithms based on both peak signal-to-noise-ratio and structural similarity evaluations.

On the Design of Delay based Admission Control in Hierarchical Networks

  • Today, as the hierarchical cellular system is getting more attention than before, some recent studies introduce delay based admission control (AC) scheme which delays the admission to the macro-embedded small cell for a relatively short time to prevent unnecessary handover caused by the short-term visitors of the small cell area. In such delay based ACs, when we use improper delay parameter, the system frequently makes incorrect handover decisions such as where unnecessary handover is allowed due to too short delaying, or where necessary handover is denied due to too long delaying. In order to avoid these undesirable situations as much as possible, we develop a new delay parameter decision method based on probabilistic cell residence time approximations. By the extensive numerical and analytical evaluations, we determine the proper delay parameter which prevents the incorrect handover decision as much as possible. We expect our delay parameter decision method can be useful system administration tips in hierarchical cellular system where delay based AC is adopted.

Unit Generation Based on Phrase Break Strength and Pruning for Corpus-Based Text-to-Speech

  • This paper discusses two important issues of corpus-based synthesis: synthesis unit generation based on phrase break strength information and pruning redundant synthesis unit instances. First, the new sentence set for recording was designed to make an efficient synthesis database, reflecting the characteristics of the Korean language. To obtain prosodic context sensitive units, we graded major prosodic phrases into 5 distinctive levels according to pause length and then discriminated intra-word triphones using the levels. Using the synthesis unit with phrase break strength information, synthetic speech was generated and evaluated subjectively. Second, a new pruning method based on weighted vector quantization (WVQ) was proposed to eliminate redundant synthesis unit instances from the synthesis database. WVQ takes the relative importance of each instance into account when clustering similar instances using vector quantization (VQ) technique. The proposed method was compared with two conventional pruning methods through objective and subjective evaluations of synthetic speech quality: one to simply limit the maximum number of instances, and the other based on normal VQ-based clustering. For the same reduction rate of instance number, the proposed method showed the best performance. The synthetic speech with reduction rate 45% had almost no perceptible degradation as compared to the synthetic speech without instance reduction.

전환제어법칙 설계 및 검증에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design and Validation of Switching Control Law)

  • The flight control law designed for prototype aircraft often leads to degraded stability and performance, although developed control law verify by non-real time simulation and pilot based evaluations. Therefore, the proper evaluation methods should be applied such that flight control law designed can be verified in real flight environment. The one proposed in this paper is IFS (In-Flight Simulator). Currently, this system has been implemented into the F-18 HARV (High Angle of Attack Research Vehicle), SU-27 and F-16 VISTA (Variable stability In flight Simulation Test Aircraft) programs. The IFS necessary switching control law such as fader logic and integrator stand-by mode to reduce abrupt transient and minimize the integrator effect for each flight control laws switching. This paper addresses the concept of switching mechanism with fader logic of "TFS (Transient Free Switch)" and stand-by mode of "feedback type" based on SSWM (Software Switching Mechanism). And the result of real-time pilot evaluation reveals that the aircraft is stable for inter-conversion of flight control laws and transient response is minimized.

Aircraft wings dynamics suppression by optimal NESs designed through an Efficient stochastic linearisation approach

  • Non-linear energy sink (NES) is an emerging passive absorber able to mitigate the dynamic response of structures without any external energy supply, resonating with all the modes of the primary structure to control. However, its inherent non-linearities hinder its large-scale use and leads to complicated design procedures. For this purpose, an approximate design approach is herein proposed in a stochastic framework. Since loads are random in nature, the stochastic analysis of non-linear systems may be performed by means of computational intensive techniques such as Monte Carlo simulations (MCS). Alternatively, the Stochastic Linearisation (SL) technique has proven to be an effective tool to investigate the performance of different passive control systems under random loads. Since controlled systems are generally non-classically damped and most of SL algorithms operate recursively, the computational burden required is still large for those problems that make intensive use of SL technique, as optimal design procedures. Herein, a procedure to speed up the Stochastic Linearisation technique is proposed by avoiding or strongly reducing numerical evaluations of response statistics. The ability of the proposed procedure to effectively reduce the computational effort and to reliably design the NES is showed through an application on a well-known case study related to the vibrations mitigation of an aircraft wing.
