서울 지역 대학생들의 한방 의료 인식 및 이용 현황 조사 (Perception and Utilization of Korean Medicine of the University Students in Seoul: A Survey Research)

  • Objectives This study examined the perception and current utilization of Korean medical clinics in South Korea, focusing on university students in their 20s who live in Seoul. In addition, this study investigated methods for improving positive perception on korean medical clinics. Methods The questionnaire consisted of preference, reliability, professionalism, and modernity of korean medical clinics based on previous researches. The data was collected from 203 students of 6 different universities in Seoul through a direct survey from 4th September to 7th September 2013. The collected data were analyzed by the frequency analysis. Results According to the survey, the university students in Seoul have few chances to visit korean medical clinics, and they do not have enough information about korean medical treatment. Also, only few of them have recognized existence of research on korean medical treatment, and most of them request that korean medical care need to be scientifically proven. Conclusion The study implied that if the perception of preference, reliability, professionalism, and modernity regarding korean medical clinics develops by promoting research achievements, an increasing number of university students in their 20s will take korean medical care.

Mediating Effects of Role Perception of Life-sustaining Treatment in the Relationship between Knowledge of Life-sustaining Treatment Plans and Attitudes toward Withdrawal of Life-sustaining Treatment among Nursing College Students

  • Purpose: This study examined the relationship between Knowledge of Life-sustaining Treatment Plans and Attitudes toward Withdrawal of Life-sustaining Treatment among nursing college students, and attempted to identify the mediating effect of Role Perception on Life-sustaining Treatment in that relationship. It is hoped that the findings will ultimately contribute to the development of active nursing strategies. Methods: The participants were 142 nursing college students in the third and fourth years of study who had experienced clinical practice at two universities in cities Y and C. Data were collected from November 1 to 30, 2019. For data analysis, SPSS for Windows version 22.0 was used to calculate descriptive statistics, the t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. To analyze the mediating effect, the Baron and Kenny bootstrapping method was used. Results: Attitudes toward Withdrawal of Life-sustaining Treatment of nursing college students had a significant positive correlation with Knowledge of Life-sustaining Treatment Plans (r=0.34, P<0.001) and Role Perception on Life-sustaining Treatment (r=0.44, P<0.001). Role Perception on Life-sustaining Treatment partially mediated the relationship between Knowledge of Life-sustaining Treatment Plans and Attitudes toward Withdrawal of Life-sustaining Treatment (95% CI, 0.446~1.055). Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, improving nursing college students' Role Perception on Life-sustaining Treatment could be used as a coping strategy to establish positive Attitudes toward Withdrawal of Life-sustaining Treatment.

과학 영재 학생들의 공학에 대한 이미지와 인식 분석 (An Analysis on Scientifically Gifted Students' Image and Perception of The Engineering)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 과학 영재 학생들이 갖고 있는 공학에 대한 이미지와 인식을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 A과학고등학교 1, 2학년 학생 182명의 과학 영재 학생들을 대상으로 공학과 과학에 대한 이미지를 비교분석하고, 공학 및 공학분야에 대한 인식과 공학교육에 대한 요구를 분석하였으며, 공학에 대한 태도를 분석하였다. 결과, 대부분의 영역과 문항에서 과학 영재 학생들은 공학에 대해 보통 이상 정도의 인식을 가지고 있었으나, 높지는 않았다. 특히, 과학 영재 학생들은 과학 기술 분야에 대한 흥미와 지식을 갖고 있는 학생들로 진로 및 직업에서도 대부분이 과학 기술 분야를 선택하게 되는 것에 비해 공학에 대한 학생들의 이해와 인식이 많이 부족하였다. 공학에 대한 체험과 교육 기회의 제한으로 인해 공학에 대한 지식이 부족하여 다양한 부정적인 이미지 및 인식과 오개념을 갖고 있었다. 또한, 학생들의 성별, 학년별, 장래희망 직업군별 집단에 따라 공학에 대한 인식의 차이도 함께 있었다. 공학의 중요성에 비해 과학 영재 학생들은 공학에 대한 인식, 이미지, 태도 등이 매우 부족한 것으로 조사되었다.

언어네트워크 분석을 통한 사서교사 역할 및 자질에 대한 학생과 교사의 인식 연구 (Students' and Teachers' Perception on the Roles and Qualifications of Teacher Librarians based on the Semantic Network Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 언어네트워크 분석방법을 활용하여 사서교사의 역할과 자질에 대한 학교구성원의 인식을 고찰하였다. 이를 위해 중등학교의 학생과 교사 대상의 설문조사를 통해 데이터를 수집하였다. 수집된 데이터를 사서교사의 역할, 자질, 건강 및 용모, 도서관환경에 대한 평가라는 4개의 프레임과 20개의 하위범주를 토대로 분류한 뒤 하위범주 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사서교사의 역할에 대한 학교구성원의 인식의 중심에 존재하는 핵심적 개념은 학생의 경우 '도서관운영'이었으며, 교사의 경우는 '독서교육'인 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, '정보활용교육'은 학생과 교사의 인식을 형성하는 데 영향력이 낮은 것으로 조사되었다. 셋째, '수업 지원', '도서관활용수업 및 협력수업'과 같은 사서교사의 교수협력자로서의 역할에 대한 학생들의 인식은 높지 않은 데 비해 교사들은 이와 관련한 역할을 비중있게 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 자료추천과 안내 활동을 하위개념으로 구성하는 '정보봉사'는 학생과 교사의 인식에 중심적 기능을 하고 있으며, 사서교사의 역할에 대한 인식을 형성하는 데도 영향력이 높은 것으로 조사되었다. 마지막으로, 사서교사의 자질에 대한 학생과 교사의 인식에서는 '전문성 및 전문지식'이 중심적인 기능을 하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 이 같은 결과는 사서교사의 역할 설정, 학생 및 교사에 대한 대응전략 수립과 인식개선을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

공과대학생의 인지적.정의적 학습양식 특성 분석 (Analysis on the Characteristics of Cognitive & Affective Learning Style of Engineering University Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the traits on the cognitive and affective learning style of university students. CALSIU(The Cognitive & Affective Learning Style Inventory for University School Students) by Kim, E. J. was modified for applying to university students and performed with 399 university students from three universities in Daejeon and Chungnam. Statistical analysis done in this study were ANOVA and Scheffe's test. Findings of the study are as follows : First, the students with high academic achievements have intuitive perception type, whole processing type, and deep storage & recall type. Secondly, the students with low academic achievement have strong non-academic learning type. Third, interaction attitude of affective learning styles is the important element to determine their academic achievement. The students with independent type get high academic achievements. Therefore, instructor should consider the learning styles of students, and it should be used to improve their teaching & learning strategy for better academic achievements of university students.

충남 일부지역 남자 중학생의 무상급식에 대한 인식 및 만족도 (Perception and Satisfaction of Free Foodservice in Male Middle School Students in Chungnam)

  • The purpose of this research was to investigate perception, necessity, and satisfaction of a free foodservice in male middle school students. This study was conducted at male middle schools with paid foodservice (PFS group, 250 students) and with free foodservice (FFS group, 250 students) in Chungnam. Average age of students in the PFS group was 13.1 while that of FFS students was 12.8 years. Exactly 88% of PFS students and 94% of FFS students responded that school foodservice is necessary, which was a significant difference (P<0.05). As the reason for participating in foodservice, about 32% of the PFS students answered the school's request while 33.6% of FFS students answered nutrition, showing a significant difference (P<0.001). Exactly 72.8% of PFS and 96.4% of FFS knew about FFS (P<0.001). More PFS students (86.4%) than FFS students (66%) answered they would not participate in foodservice if the FFS would be introduced and the quality of meal service would deteriorate. After initiation to FFS, there were significant differences in assessment of foodservice: 77.6% of PFS students answered expected that the quality of foodservice would degrade, whereas 74.4% of FFS students answered that quality would not degrade (P<0.001). Satisfaction of foodservice was 2.3 points for FFS students, which was significantly lower than the 2.5 points for PFS students (P<0.001). To sum up assessment of foodservice was positive, whereas satisfaction was not significantly different between PFS and FFS. Based on this research, households, schools, and governments should promote FFS in order to diminish financial pressure for students.

간호대학생의 공감능력, 아동권리 인식, 아동학대 인식이 아동학대 신고의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of nursing students' ability to empathize, recognize children's rights, and perceive child abuse on their intention to report child abuse)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the factors influencing nursing students' intentions to report child abuse. Methods: The participants of this study were 151 nursing students who were currently enrolled in nursing departments in Korea and who were at least 18 years of age or older. This study used a descriptive cross-sectional design, and the data were collected from February 16, to March 13, 2023, using an online self-administered survey. The questionnaire included general characteristics, empathy ability, child rights recognition, child abuse perception, and intention to report child abuse. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, an independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé test, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS Statistics 29.0. Results: The intention to report child abuse showed statistically significant positive correlations with empathy ability (r=.23, p<.001), child rights recognition (r=.34, p<.001), and child abuse perception (r=.63, p<.001). In the multiple regression analysis, the factors significantly related to nursing students' intention to report child abuse were as follows: awareness of mandatory reporting (yes) (β=.16, p=.021) and child abuse perception (β=.56, p<.001). The explanatory power of these factors was 45.0% (F=20.03, p<.001). Conclusion: Considering the findings of this study, it is necessary to develop and implement educational programs for improving the perception of child abuse and thus enhancing nursing students' intention to report child abuse.

정상체중인과 비만인의 음료와 컵 색상에 따른 인지량의 차이에 관한 연구 (Difference in Volume Perception According to Beverage or Cup Color in Normal Weight and Obese College Students)

  • We examined the perception of volume in college students with a normal weight versus those students with obesity. College students were divided into a normal weight group (<23 body mass index, n=121) and an obese group (${\geq}23$ body mass index, n=110), The perception of volume was measured under different beverage colors (colorless, black, yellow, and blue) and cup colors (colorless, black, yellow, and blue) containing the same amount of liquid (150 ml). We found that the normal weight group perceived significantly more liquid in a cup with a blue beverage versus a colorless one. The obese group perceived significantly more liquid in a cup with a yellow or blue beverage versus a colorless one. In terms of cup color, the normal weight group perceived significantly more liquid in a black color cup compared to a blue color cup. However, there were no differences in perceived volume according to the color of cup among the obese group. There were no significant differences in the perceived volume between the normal and obese group under all conditions tested. In conclusion, beverage and cup color effects volume perception in normal weight students, while only beverage color effects volume perception in obese students. Therefore, controlling, the color of beverages and cups may help to control the consumption of drinks.

간호대학생의 코로나19 관련 예방행위 영향요인: 지식, 감염위험지각, 우울, 불안을 중심으로 (Factors Influencing COVID-19 Preventive Behaviors in Nursing Students: Knowledge, Risk Perception, Anxiety, and Depression)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to survey the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) related knowledge, risk perception, preventive behaviors, depression, and anxiety levels among nursing students, and to identify factors that influence preventive behaviors. Methods: An online survey was conducted among nursing students from October 7, 2020 to October 12, 2020. The data were analyzed using independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. Results: A total of 222 nursing students participated in this study. The correct answer rate for COVID-19 knowledge was 90.0%, risk perception was 5.51±1.26, and the rate for preventive behaviors was 92.5%. The depression score was 6.28±4.63; 59.9% of nursing students had depression, and the anxiety score was 5.56±3.98; 59.9% of nursing students had anxiety. COVID-19 preventive behaviors had a positive correlation with COVID-19 knowledge (r= .30, p< .001), COVID-19 risk perception (r= .18, p= .009), and anxiety (r= .21, p= .001). Factors influencing COVID-19 preventive behaviors by multiple regression were identified as COVID-19 knowledge, anxiety, physical health status before and after COVID-19, grade, practical experience after COVID-19, and COVID-19 risk perception (F = 12.46, p< .001, R2= 25.8%). Conclusion: The results of this research on factors influencing COVID-19 prevention behaviors can be used in the future to develop appropriate health policies for individual and community infectious disease prevention behaviors.

여대생의 체형인식 및 감성지능과 성적자기주장의 관계 (Relationships between body type perception and emotional intelligence and sexual assertiveness of female college students)

  • 본 연구는 여대생의 체형인식 및 감성지능과 성적자기주장의 관계를 파악하기 위해 실시하였다. 연구대상은 충남 소재 2개 대학 간호학과에 재학 중인 여학생 288명이며, 자료수집은 자가보고형 설문지를 이용하여 2017년 3월 1일에서 5월 20일까지 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 program을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 여대생의 감성지능이 높을수록 성적자기주장이 높은 것으로 나타났으나(r=.25, p<.001), 체형인식에 따른 성적자기주장은 통계적 유의성이 없었다. 여대생의 성적자기주장 영향요인은 종교, 첫 이성교제 시기, 체질량지수, 및 감성지능이었으며, 설명력은 18.7%이었다. 따라서 여대생의 성적자기주장을 증가시키기 위한 중재 프로그램에 감성지능 증가를 위한 중재를 포함하는 것이 필요하다고 할 것이다. 또한 여대생의 체형인식과 성적자기주장에 관계에 대한 해서는 추후 계속적인 연구가 실시될 필요가 있다고 할 것이다.
