데이트 강간의 여성 인식에 관한 문헌통계학적 접근 (A Statistical Approach about Documents of Women's recognition on the Date Rape)

  • 성폭력에 대한 많은 선행연구에서 보여주듯 낯선사람으로부터 당하는 일반강간 보다는 대부분의 강간이 오히려 지인(知人)인 경우가 더 많다. 특히 지인강간 중에서도 데이트상대에 의해서 일어난다는 사실을 생각할 때 가장 보편화된 성폭력인 데이트 강간에 대한 체계적이고 학문적인 연구의 필요성을 느끼지 않을 수 없다. 최근에 국내에서 실시된 데이트 강간에 대한 연구에서도 문제의 심각성을 여실히 드러내고 있다. 조사에서 보면 20.5%의 여성들이 데이트 강간 피해경험을 보고하였다. 그러나 일반적인 강간 피해자들보다 데이트 강간 피해자들이 관련기관에 피해사실을 신고하는 경우는 훨씬 드물다. 그 이유는 데이트강간의 경우 피해자 혹은 가해자 자신들도 피해나 가해사실을 조금은 과격한 성관계나 성접촉을 가진 것으로 생각할 뿐 성폭력으로 인식하지 않기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구는 Michael Shively, Perceived Risks of Date Rape, Judith M.Sgarzi, Victimology 을 바탕으로 데이트강간의 선행연구결과들을 소개코자 한다.

  • Joint financial network of Korea Financial Telecommunications and Clearings Institute, which is an essential facility with a natural monopoly, maintained its closedness as monopoly/public utility model, but it has evolved in the form of open banking in order to obtain domestic fintech competitiveness in the rapidly changing digital financial ecosystem such as the acceleration of Big Blur. In accordance with digital transformation strategy of financial institutions, various ICT companies are actively participating in the financial industries, which has been exclusive to banks, through the link technology called Open API. For this reason, there has been a significant change in the financial service supply chain in which ICT companies participate as users. The level of security in the financial service supply chain is determined based on the weakest part of the individual components according to the law of minimum. In addition, there is a perceived risk of personal information and financial information leakage among the main factors that affect users' intention to accept services, and appropriate protective measures against perceived security risks can be a catalyst, which increases the acceptance of open banking. Therefore, this is a study on factors affecting the introduction of open banking to achieve financial innovation by developing an open banking security control model for financial institutions, as a protective measures to user organizations, from the perspectives of cyber financial security and customer information protection, respectively, and surveying financial security experts. It is expected, from this study, that effective information protection measures will be derived to protect the rights and interests of financial customers and will help promote open banking.

증강현실 게임에서 연령에 따른 위험 인식 차이 연구 (A Study on the Risk Perception differences by Age on Augmented Reality Game)

  • 증강현실 게임은 현실 공간에서 발생 가능한 물리적 위험성을 내포하고 있다는 점에서 기존의 게임과는 차이가 있다. 실제로 포켓몬 고 게임과 관련한 사고가 증가하고 있는 추세임에도 이러한 유형의 위험에 대한 학술적 논의는 부족한 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 증강현실 게임에서 나타나는 인지된 위험 유형에 대한 탐색과 함께 위험 인식 수준이 이용의도에 미치는 영향을 검증한다. 또한 일반적으로 게임 중독성향 및 감각추구 성향이 강하게 나타나는 청소년 그룹과 청장년층의 인식 수준 비교를 통해 연구 시사점을 도출한다. 연구 결과에 따르면 10대의 경우 경제적 위험 인식이 증가할수록 이용 의도가 감소하고 20대 이상의 경우 시간적 위험 인식이 높을수록 이용 의도가 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 물리적/신체적 위험의 경우 10대의 경우 이용 의도 감소에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났고 20대 이상의 경우 오히려 정의 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 향후 증강현실 게임의 안전한 이용을 위해서 적절한 규제의 필요성을 시사한다.

지속적 관여도 및 인지된 위험이 소비자의 온라인 상인선택 프로세스에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 요구신뢰 수준 개념을 중심으로 (How Enduring Product Involvement and Perceived Risk Affect Consumers' Online Merchant Selection Process: The 'Required Trust Level' Perspective)

  • Consumers differ in the way they make a purchase. An audio mania would willingly make a bold, yet serious, decision to buy a top-of-the-line home theater system, while he is not interested in replacing his two-decade-old shabby car. On the contrary, an automobile enthusiast wouldn't mind spending forty thousand dollars to buy a new Jaguar convertible, yet cares little about his junky component system. It is product involvement that helps us explain such differences among individuals in the purchase style. Product involvement refers to the extent to which a product is perceived to be important to a consumer (Zaichkowsky, 2001). Product involvement is an important factor that strongly influences consumer's purchase decision-making process, and thus has been of prime interest to consumer behavior researchers. Furthermore, researchers found that involvement is closely related to perceived risk (Dholakia, 2001). While abundant research exists addressing how product involvement relates to overall perceived risk, little attention has been paid to the relationship between involvement and different types of perceived risk in an electronic commerce setting. Given that perceived risk can be a substantial barrier to the online purchase (Jarvenpaa, 2000), research addressing such an issue will offer useful implications on what specific types of perceived risk an online firm should focus on mitigating if it is to increase sales to a fullest potential. Meanwhile, past research has focused on such consumer responses as information search and dissemination as a consequence of involvement, neglecting other behavioral responses like online merchant selection. For one example, will a consumer seriously considering the purchase of a pricey Guzzi bag perceive a great degree of risk associated with online buying and therefore choose to buy it from a digital storefront rather than from an online marketplace to mitigate risk? Will a consumer require greater trust on the part of the online merchant when the perceived risk of online buying is rather high? We intend to find answers to these research questions through an empirical study. This paper explores the impact of enduring product involvement and perceived risks on required trust level, and further on online merchant choice. For the purpose of the research, five types or components of perceived risk are taken into consideration, including financial, performance, delivery, psychological, and social risks. A research model has been built around the constructs under consideration, and 12 hypotheses have been developed based on the research model to examine the relationships between enduring involvement and five components of perceived risk, between five components of perceived risk and required trust level, between enduring involvement and required trust level, and finally between required trust level and preference toward an e-tailer. To attain our research objectives, we conducted an empirical analysis consisting of two phases of data collection: a pilot test and main survey. The pilot test was conducted using 25 college students to ensure that the questionnaire items are clear and straightforward. Then the main survey was conducted using 295 college students at a major university for nine days between December 13, 2010 and December 21, 2010. The measures employed to test the model included eight constructs: (1) enduring involvement, (2) financial risk, (3) performance risk, (4) delivery risk, (5) psychological risk, (6) social risk, (7) required trust level, (8) preference toward an e-tailer. The statistical package, SPSS 17.0, was used to test the internal consistency among the items within the individual measures. Based on the Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficients of the individual measure, the reliability of all the variables is supported. Meanwhile, the Amos 18.0 package was employed to perform a confirmatory factor analysis designed to assess the unidimensionality of the measures. The goodness of fit for the measurement model was satisfied. Unidimensionality was tested using convergent, discriminant, and nomological validity. The statistical evidences proved that the three types of validity were all satisfied. Now the structured equation modeling technique was used to analyze the individual paths along the relationships among the research constructs. The results indicated that enduring involvement has significant positive relationships with all the five components of perceived risk, while only performance risk is significantly related to trust level required by consumers for purchase. It can be inferred from the findings that product performance problems are mostly likely to occur when a merchant behaves in an opportunistic manner. Positive relationships were also found between involvement and required trust level and between required trust level and online merchant choice. Enduring involvement is concerned with the pleasure a consumer derives from a product class and/or with the desire for knowledge for the product class, and thus is likely to motivate the consumer to look for ways of mitigating perceived risk by requiring a higher level of trust on the part of the online merchant. Likewise, a consumer requiring a high level of trust on the merchant will choose a digital storefront rather than an e-marketplace, since a digital storefront is believed to be trustworthier than an e-marketplace, as it fulfills orders by itself rather than acting as an intermediary. The findings of the present research provide both academic and practical implications. The first academic implication is that enduring product involvement is a strong motivator of consumer responses, especially the selection of a merchant, in the context of electronic shopping. Secondly, academicians are advised to pay attention to the finding that an individual component or type of perceived risk can be used as an important research construct, since it would allow one to pinpoint the specific types of risk that are influenced by antecedents or that influence consequents. Meanwhile, our research provides implications useful for online merchants (both online storefronts and e-marketplaces). Merchants may develop strategies to attract consumers by managing perceived performance risk involved in purchase decisions, since it was found to have significant positive relationship with the level of trust required by a consumer on the part of the merchant. One way to manage performance risk would be to thoroughly examine the product before shipping to ensure that it has no deficiencies or flaws. Secondly, digital storefronts are advised to focus on symbolic goods (e.g., cars, cell phones, fashion outfits, and handbags) in which consumers are relatively more involved than others, whereas e- marketplaces should put their emphasis on non-symbolic goods (e.g., drinks, books, MP3 players, and bike accessories).

구독경제 이용 만족도 및 지속 이용 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Satisfaction and Continuous Use Intention of Subscription Economy)

  • 4차산업혁명의 진전과 코로나19 팬데믹으로 인하여 구독경제가 급격히 확산 되고 있다. 특히 제품의 서비스화가 진전되면서 구독경제는 더욱 확대될 것으로 보인다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 구독경제의 확산을 위해 소비자 관점에서 이를 촉진하는 요인과 방해하는 요인에 대해 실증적으로 분석하고자 했다. 이를 위해 품질에서 만족, 충성도, 성과로 이어지는 매커니즘을 밝힌 SPC(Service Profit Chain) 모델을 토대로 혜택 요인과 희생 요인을 함께 다루고 있는 VAM(Value-based Adoption Model)의 framework을 결합하여 연구 모형을 도출하였다. 혜택 요인으로 유용성과 편의성을, 희생 요인으로 인지된 위험과 인지된 비용을 도출하였다. 이러한 요인들이 이용 만족도와 지속 이용 의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 실증 분석을 위해 구독경제 이용 경험이 있는 사람들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 유효한 300부를 분석하였다. 분석은 AMOS 24를 활용하여 구조방정식으로 하였다. 실증 분석 결과 편의성은 이용 만족도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 인지된 위험과 인지된 비용은 이용 만족도에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 반면, 유용성은 이용 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이용 만족도에 영향을 미치는 영향력의 크기는 인지된 비용, 편의성, 인지된 위험 순이었다. 이용 만족도는 지속 이용 의도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 학술적인 차원에서 기존의 검정된 모형을 결합하여 그 유효성을 검정하므로서 연구의 지평을 넓혔고, 실무적 차원에서는 인지된 비용이 여전히 중요한 요인임을 검정하였다는 점에서 의의가 있는 것으로 사료 된다.

Dieticians' intentions to recommend functional foods: The mediating role of consumption frequency of functional foods

  • This study explored the conceptual framework of dieticians' intentions to recommend functional food and the mediating role of consumption frequency. A web-based survey was designed using a self-administered questionnaire. A sample of Korean dieticians (N=233) responded to the questionnaire that included response efficacy, risk perception, consumption frequency, and recommendation intention for functional foods. A structural equation model was constructed to analyze the data. We found that response efficacy was positively related to frequency of consumption of functional foods and to recommendation intention. Consumption frequency also positively influenced recommendation intention. Risk perception had no direct influence on recommendation intention; however, the relationship was mediated completely by consumption frequency. Dieticians' consumption frequency and response efficacy were the crucial factors in recommending functional foods. Dieticians may perceive risks arising from the use of functional foods in general, but the perceived risks do not affect ratings describing dieticians' intentions to recommend them. The results also indicated that when dieticians more frequently consume functional foods, the expression of an intention to recommend functional foods may be controlled by the salience of past behaviors rather than by attitudes.

Architects' Perceptions on Identifying Major Risk Factors and Mitigation Measures in Green Building Design :The Case of South Korea

  • Architects are facing increasing risks that result from heightened expectations of benefits and performance when designing green buildings compared to traditional buildings. This study aims to explore the possible risk factors for architects in green building projects in South Korea and assess risk mitigation measures. To attain this goal, 14 risk factors and 12 mitigation measures were determined through an extensive literature review. A questionnaire was administered to architects practicing green building design and criticality index was employed to assess major risk factors and mitigation measures. This study identified 'adoption of new technology and process', 'green building certification results', 'building products and materials', and 'energy saving uncertainty' as the major risk factors of green building projects. Additionally, the questionnaire proposed 'contract indicating each party's role, liability, and limitations clearly', 'utilizing integrated design process', and 'understanding client's goal in green building projects' as the three most effective risk mitigation measures in designing green buildings. There are few studies that focus on architects' perceived risks concerning green building projects; this study contributes to a deeper knowledge and attempts to fill the current literature gap, which would benefit South Korea's green building design practice by aiding in the development of better risk management strategies.

Quality of Entrepreneurship and Micro-, Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises' (MSMEs) Financial Performance in Indonesia

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the quality of entrepreneurship - motivation, entrepreneurial orientation, and risk behavior - in relation to the odds of micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises' (MSMEs) financial performance in Indonesia. Additionally, this paper investigates how these qualities apply for the current challenges perceived by MSMEs' entrepreneurs in Indonesia due to Covid-19 crisis; specifically, this paper examines the odds of MSMEs' financial performance during the pandemic in respect to when these qualities are implemented by the entrepreneurs. The empirical data was obtained from an online survey by means of a structured questionnaire. MSMEs surveyed were randomly selected on a national scale. To test the hypotheses, a quantitative approach is employed, using multinomial regression. The main result shows that, under normal economic environment, the more intrinsically-motivated and continuity-driven entrepreneur is, the more likely the MSME will achieve financial growth compared to remaining stagnant. To our surprise, innovativeness leads to less likelihood of MSME's financial growth, suggesting the significance of innovation does not apply to MSMEs in Indonesia. Lastly, MSMEs' risk behavior to operate in a stable business environment is found more likely to result in a better performance and is true for operational and financial risks, but not marketing risks.

호텔서비스 재구매의도에 있어서 위험의 매개적 역할에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Mediation Roll of Risk about the Repurchasing Intention of Hotel Services)

  • 본 연구는 호텔기업의 고객 포트폴리오 전략에 있어서 시장의 절대적 규모와 경쟁상황을 고려할 때 신규고객을 확보보다는 기존고객들의 재구매 의도에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 연구의 필요성이 대두된다는 환경에서 시작된다. 특히 호텔 서비스 재구매 의도에 미치는 영향요인은 순기능 요인만 존재하는 것이 아니라 역기능 요인 역시 존재함에도 불구하고 이를 간과하는 경향이 있다. 본 연구에서는 호텔기업의 성과요인에 작용하는 부정적 매개역할 요인으로 지각된 위험을 제시하고 이에 대한 실증 분석을 하였다. 우리나라 서울 소재 특급호텔의 고객을 대상으로 실시한 연구의 결과를 통해 첫째, 지각 된 서비스 품질(인적 품질, 물적 품질)이 재구매 의도에 미치는 정의 영향을 미친다는 것과 둘째, 지각된 위험(성과적 위험, 사회심리적 위험, 신체적 위험)이 재구매 의도에 미치는 부의 영향을 미친다는 것과 셋째, 지각된 위험이 지각된 서비스 품질과 재구매 의도간 매개적 역할을 하고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 재구매 의도에 미치는 영향요인 중 역기능 요인에 관한 통제를 마케팅 전략 수립에 있어서 적극 활용하여야 한다는 시사점을 얻을 수 있다.

심리적거리가 지각된 위험과 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Perceived Risks and Performance regarding Psychic Distance)

  • 본 연구는 소비자 관점에서 심리적 거리가 소비자의 제품지각 및 구매의도와 같은 지각된 위험에 어떠한 영향을 주는가를 고찰하고 있다. 기존의 연구들이 간과하고 있는 심리적 거리의 새로운 차원을 규명하고 심리적 거리의 개념을 재정립하고 있다. 또한 심리적 거리를 측정하여 심리적 거리의 새로운 차원을 규명하고 이론적 틀을 정립하였으며 심리적 거리가 소비자들의 지각된 위험과 성과에 어떠한 관련성을 가지는가를 검증하고 있다. 주로 조직 간의 연구가 주류를 이루고 있는 기존의 연구들과 관점을 달리하여 소비자 관점에서의 심리적 거리가 소비자들의 지각된 위험과 성과에 어떠한 관련성을 가지는가를 규명한다. 본 연구를 통해 밝혀진 결과는 첫째, 심리적 거리의 존재에 대한 몇몇 연구자들의 회의적인 견해와는 달리 국제마케팅활동에서 심리적 거리는 소비자 행동에서 외재적 단서로 여전히 존재하고 있다는 것이다. 둘째, 심리적 거리의 새로운 영향요인이 도출되었다. 문화와 심리적 거리는 형성되는 방법에 있어서는 동질적인 요소를 내포하고 있으나 심리적 거리는 문화의 변동성뿐만 아니라 다른 영향요인들에 의해 훨씬 더 복잡하게 형성되는 것으로 문화는 심리적 거리를 형성하는 데 영향을 줄 수 있는 영향요인이지 심리적 거리를 측정하는 측정변수로는 부족하다는 것이다. 셋째, 심리적 거리가 소비자의 구매행동에도 직접적인 영향을 줄 수 있다는 것이다. 넷째, 소비자들의 구매의도를 증가시키기 위해서는 제품에 대한 태도뿐만 아니라 소비자들이 제품을 구매할 때 느끼는 심리적 불안감이 중요한 요인으로 작용한다는 사실이 검증되었다.
