정보품질을 위한 개인정보 보호행위: 건강심리이론 관점을 중심으로 (Personal Information Protection Behavior for Information Quality : Health Psychology Theory Perspectives)

  • The purpose of this research is to understand users' information protection behavior on personal information security from health psychology theory perspectives. Empirical results indicate that users' information protection behavior on personal information is predicted by perceived threat and perceived responsiveness. Perceived threat is determined by perceived susceptibility and perceived severity. Perceived responsiveness is determined by response efficacy and self-efficacy, but response cost is not significant. These findings provide an enriched understanding about users' information protection behavior on personal information security.

모바일 결제 앱에서의 보안과 신뢰 : 개인의 성향과 보안 신호를 중심으로 (Security and Trust of Mobile Payment Apps : Focus on Personal Predisposition and Security Signal)

  • 최근 모바일 결제 앱 시장이 점차 확대되고 있으나 보안과 프라이버시에 대한 염려로 인하여 모바일 결제 앱 사용률이 서비스 제공자들의 기대에 미치지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 모바일 결제 앱을 사용하는 개인의 성향과 결제 앱 자체의 보안 신호가 사용자들의 인지된 개인정보 유출 위험과 보안 위험에 어떠한 영향을 주며, 이러한 요인들이 최종적으로 어떻게 모바일 결제 앱의 신뢰에 영향을 주는지 설문을 통하여 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 프라이버시 염려도는 인지된 개인정보 유출 위험을 증가시키고 모바일 시스템 보안 정도를 감소시키는 반면, 친숙도, 인지된 명성, 보안 마크는 인지된 개인정보 유출 위험을 감소시키고 모바일 시스템 보안 정도를 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 인지된 개인정보 유출 위험의 감소와 모바일 시스템 보안의 증가가 모바일 결제 앱의 신뢰도에 긍정적 영향을 미친다는 점을 밝혔다.

기술수용모형을 이용한 인터넷 뱅킹과 모바일 뱅킹 이용의 차이에 관한 연구 (A Study of Comparison between Internet Banking and Mobile Banking by Extending the TAM)

  • Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) considers perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness as the important determinants of user behavior regarding information technology. As an extension of TAM, this research examines perceived security as an additional determining variable to explain an individual's acceptance and use of mobile banking as well as internet banking. The results show that perceived ease of use does not affect the individual's attitude toward the use of mobile or internet banking, while perceived usefulness does. Furthermore, perceived security affects perceived usefulness in mobile banking, but not in internet banking. In addition, in mobile banking, perceived security is positively related to perceived usefulness, though perceived security is negatively related to attitude. Finally, the average scores of surveyed data for Internet banking are higher and significantly different than those for mobile banking.

업무용도로 이용되는 모바일 인스턴트 메신저에서 인지된 보안성, 인지된 프라이버시, 인지된 즐거움, 인지된 상호작용성이 지속이용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (On the Effect of Perceived Security, Perceived Privacy, Perceived Enjoyment, Perceived Interactivity on Continual Usage Intention through Perceived Usefulness in Mobile Instant Messenger for business)

  • As smart phones become more common nowadays, mobile instant messengers such as kakao talk and line are used as essential communication tools exchanging information between individuals. Also, the mobile instant messengers extend their use to business area beyond communication between individuals. This study is on how factors of mobile instant messenger such as perceived security, perceived privacy, perceived enjoyment and perceived interactivity affect business continual usage intention through perceived usefulness. The proposed model is based on Expectation-Confirmation Theory of Oliver and Technology Acceptance Mode of Bhattacherjee. For an analysis, 159 survey responses were collected from the office workers in Seoul and nearby cities, having experiences of mobile instant messengers. To validate the proposed research model, PLS analysis is performed with the valid 154 questionnaires. The path analysis results are as follows. First, perceived security has a positive effect on expectation-confirmation. Second, perceived enjoyment has a positive effect on perceived usefulness. Third, perceived interactivity has a positive effect on both perceived usefulness and expectation-confirmation. Fourth, perceived usefulness has a positive usefulness on satisfaction and continual usage intention of mobile instant messenger. Last, expectation-confirmation has a positive effect on perceived usefulness, and satisfaction has a positive effect on continual usage intention of mobile instant messenger. Since the mobile instant messenger may bring a pressure of work and a violation of privacy, it is necessary that the company provide a guideline for use of the mobile instant messenger and establish the in-house mobile instant messenger system.

모바일 커머스의 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing on Behavior Intention for Mobile Commerce)

  • Mobile commerce is defined as any direct or indirect transaction conducted and facilitated through a wireless telecommunication network such as payment, ticketing, auction and mobile banking. Despite the importance of mobile commerce, there have not been so many academic studies on the unique characteristics of mobile commerce environments. In this study, our research model is developed based on TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) to investigate the user's technology acceptance process in mobile commerce environment. The factors, such as ubiquity, compatibility, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, cost, security, attitude and behavior intention for mobile commerce were selected from pier study in information systems area. The data for empirical analysis of the research model is collected online-questionnaire of 167 mobile commerce users in South Korea. The hypotheses were analyzed using SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 7.0. The results of our study show that: (1) compatibility, perceived usefulness and security had influences on the attitude whereas perceived ease of use and cost did not have any significant impact on the attitude, (2) compatibility influenced perceived usefulness whereas perceived ease of use did not, and finally (3) ubiquity, perceived usefulness and attitude had considerable influences on intention for mobile commerce. Therefore, practitioners should focus on enhancing security, quality of contents and services as well as offering what mobile commerce users want. The results of this study may useful for academicians and practitioners alike.

인터넷 뱅킹 사용자의 보안의도에 영향을 마치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Factors Influencing User's Security Intention for Internet Banking)

  • Recently, internet banking is growing rapidly. Moot banks in Korea provide internet banking services. Internet banking becomes a major trend in the financial marketplace. With advanced computer technology and declining communication costs, many customers prefer online alternatives such as internet banking, mobile banking or phone banking rather than going to banks by themselves. The number of customers using those alternatives is skyrocketing and domestic commercial banks encourage them of the use. As the internet is highly developed, customers demand higher quality services and banks develop and provide diverse services in order to respond to them. However, internet banking service users are still afraid of their personal and financial information being exposed on the internet. The purpose of this research is to empirically analyze the influence that appropriate internet banking affect user's security intention. The research model proposed in this study includes user's security intention which is influenced by self-efficacy, security trust, Internet banking attitude, perceived security and security intention. According to the result of this study, self-efficacy and security trust are related to the security attitude. There is a significant relationship between security attitude and perceived security. Also, user's security attitude and perceived security is significantly affected by security intention.

정보시스템 관련 교육의 정도가 보안 우려 및 온라인 거래 의도에 미치는 영향 - 인터넷 이용과 스마트 폰 이용의 비교 분석 (The effects of the degree of education related to information systems on online transaction intention and security concerns - Comparative analysis of the use of the Internet and smartphone)

  • 본 연구에서는 정보시스템 관련 교육의 정도와 인터넷 활용 능력이 인지된 보안성 우려에 어떠한 영향을 미치며, 기술수용모델에 기반을 두어 이 세 변수가 온라인 거래 의도에는 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 또한 스마트 폰을 이용하여 필요로 하는 제품을 구매하는 사례가 증가하는 추세이므로 기존 인터넷을 이용할 경우와 스마트 폰을 이용할 경우로 구분하여 비교 분석하였다. 실증 분석 결과, 정보시스템 관련 교육의 정도, 인터넷 활용 능력, 인지된 보안성 우려는 인지된 유용성 및 인지된 사용 용이성을 매개로 하여 온라인 거래 의도에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고 예상했던 것과 달리, 정보시스템 관련 교육을 많이 받을수록 해킹이나 프라이버시 침해 사례들을 더 많이 알게 되어 보안에 대해 더 우려하게 되며, 따라서 인터넷을 통한 거래가 많은 노력을 요구한다고 믿었다. 또한 정보시스템 관련 교육을 많이 받을수록 보안에 대해 더 우려하게 되므로, 인지된 보안성 우려는 인지된 유용성에 부(-)의 영향이 아니라 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 마지막으로 정보시스템 관련 교육의 정도는 인터넷 거래의 유용성이나 인터넷 거래의 사용 용이성을 인지하는 것과는 관련이 있으나, 스마트 폰의 유용성이나 스마트 폰의 사용 용이성을 인지하는 것과는 관련이 없는 것으로 나타났다.

핀테크(FinTech) 서비스의 정보보안 위협요인과 개인정보보호행위와의 구조적 관계에 관한 연구: 기술위협회피와 건강행동이론 관점에서 (The Structural Relationships among Information Security Threat Factors and Information Protection Behavior of the FinTech Services: Focus on Theoretical Perspectives of Technology Threat Avoidance and Health Protective Behaviors)

  • Purpose Financial technology, also known as FinTech, is conceptually defined as a new type of financial service which is combined with information technology and other traditional financial services like payments, investments, financing, insurance, asset management and so on. Most of the studies on FinTech services have been conducted from the viewpoint of technical issues or legal and institutional studies, and few studies are conducted from the health belief perspectives and security behavior approaches. In this regard, this study suggest an extended information protection behavior model. Design/Methodology/Approach The Health Belief Model (HBM), the Protection Motivation Theory (PMT), and the Technology Threat Avoidance Theory (TTAT) were employed to identify constructs relevant to information protection behavior of FinTech services. A new extended information protection behavior model in which the influence factors of information protection behavior (i.e., perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived benefits, perceived barriers, perceived self-efficacy, subjective norms) affect perceived threats and perceived responsiveness positively, leading to information protection behavior of FinTech users eventually. This study developed an extended information protection behavior model to explain the protection behavior intention in FinTech users and collected 272 survey responses from the mobile users who had experiences with such mobile payments and FinTech services. Findings The finding of this study suggests that the influence factors of information protection behavior affect perceived threats and perceived responsiveness positively, and information protection behavior of FinTech users as well.

The Relationship among Product Risk, Perceived Satisfaction and Purchase Intentions for Online Shopping

  • This research investigates the relationship among product risk, financial risk, security risk, privacy risk, perceived satisfaction, and purchase intention. Validated measurements were identified from a literature review. The measurement model and the conceptual model depicting hypothesized relationships were evaluated based on responses from 306 customers using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The results showed that product risk, financial risk, security risk, and privacy risk impacted on perceived satisfaction. Besides, product risk, privacy risk, and perceived satisfaction influenced purchase intentions. Thus, this study focused on the influences of product risk, financial risk, security risk, and privacy risk on their cognitive attitudes toward websites. That means the more consumer perceive security, the more they avoid shopping online. The study is important to show how perceived risk affects online shopping behaviors, and it invites marketers to make necessary adjustments to prevent perceived risks to increase and online shopping to decrease. The findings of this study suggest the creation of a framework on the effect of perceived risk types on online shopping. Managers need to take perceived risks into account when designing their electronic marketing channels. In addition, shopping websites should strengthen their transaction security by appropriately using various available resources and new information technologies.

  • 기업들은 중요한 지적 자산을 보호하고, 개인정보 유출과 같은 보안 사고를 예방을 위하여, 사내 보안 활동을 강화 하고 있다. 하지만, 이로 인한 구성원들의 보안스트레스는 점점 증가하고 있으며, 내부자에 의한 보안사고도 지속적으로 발생하고 있는 현실이다. 그리고 기업 내 다양한 정보보안 상황과 활동에 따라 통제수용자가 실제 인지하는 보안 스트레스 강도에도 차이가 있을 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 다양한 분야에서 인간의 행동결정을 설명하는데 많이 이용되고 있는 합리적 행동이론, 계획된 행동이론, 일반 억제이론 등을 정보보안 분야에 접목한 기존 연구의 이론적 고찰을 통해, 기업에서 시행되고 있는 다양한 보안정책 및 보안활동으로부터 인지된 조직 구성원의 보안정책 특성요인을 탐색적 연구를 통해 분석하고, 이러한 특성요인을 독립변수로 하여, 이들 변수들과 조직 구성원이 체감하는 보안스트레스와의 인과관계를 다중 회귀분석을 통해 설명하고, 궁극적으로는 통제수용자의 인지된 보안스트레스가 통제수용자의 보안준수행동의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 인과관계를 설명하고자 금융회사 조직 구성원을 대상으로 실증분석을 하고자 한다.
