To determine "how humans move in space, what they want, and through which visual information they act and choose," this study aims to define in which sense space is preferred in gaze. The ultimate goal is to extract data of human visual awareness and preference in space. This study analyzed the observation characteristics perceived through observation frequency and time depending on the purpose cafe customers to understand what intension of visiting the space has on the observation characteristics which are the results obtained as information through visual perception. This research methods are as follows. First, the areas of preference in $caf{\acute{e}}$ space gazed by visual concentration are analyzed by divided into 12 by 12 grid A and B images separated depends on existence of people. Second, eye-tracking visual path in conscious gaze is analyzed to examine. Third, though the higher section frequency is likely to have more observation time, the interest area of I(3sec/180), II(6sec/360) and III(9sec/540) had higher frequency of Intention. The followings are the results of this study. First, the time range for searching or wandering and the observation characteristics could be estimated by the meaning of observation time by grade with the time-range out of the distribution of sections. Second, at the time distribution by section, when there was intention, the observation time was found to have higher occupation. In conclusion, this study is to determine the correlation of human concentration gazing at space images. It is an exploratory research on research methodologies, and aims to develop methodologies and provide basic data to plan attractive spaces in light of the subconscious of consumers in the future by interpreting gaze data related to concentration.
Moving object management systems manage spatiotemporal data, which change their location over tine such as people, animals, and cars. These moving object management systems can be applied to vehicle location tracking, digital battlefield, location-based service, and so on. The existing moving object management systems only manage past or future location of the moving objects separately. Therefore, they cannot suggest estimation method of uncertain past or future location of the moving objects. In this paper, we propose a moving object management system, which not only manages historical data of the moving objects, but also predicts past and future location of the moving objects using historical data stored in database. We define the moving objects for vehicle location tracking and propose a moving object database structure. Finally, we suggest an execution model of the proposed system and apply the execution model to a virtual scenario for vehicle tracking.

Recognition and image processing technology depends on illumination variation. One of the most important factors is the parameters of algorithms. When it comes to select these values, the system has different types of recognition accuracy. In this paper, we propose performance improvement of the eye tracking system that depends on some environments such as, people, location, and illumination. Optimized threshold parameter was decided by using reinforcement learning. When the system accuracy goes down, reinforcement learning used to train the value of parameters. According to the experimental results, the performance of eye tracking system can be improved from 3% to 14% by using reinforcement learning. The improved eye tracking system can be effectively used for human-computer interaction.
This study aimed to conduct an eye-tracking experiment carried with facade images as a medium and to do research on 'the interest of the eyes' resulted from people's gazing phenomena. This study secured gazing data which appeared according to visual response and analyzed gazing phenomena to find the basic theory of 'the interest of the eyes' as a methodological role, which consumer interest and attention could be grafted when a plan and a design for space design was made. Data terms used in eye-tracking backgrounds and the movement of the eyes were investigated in literature review. Twenty (20) facade images were selected through a case study to get experimental stimuli for the related experiment. Thirty (30) subjects (men and women) suitable for the experiment were recruited to conduct an eye-tracking experiment. After the experiment, five (5) areas were set up in the facade image to identify the focus level of interest and attention. The level of interest and focus was connected to the interest of the eyes. The analysis to study the interest of the eyes was based on nine (9) items such as sequence, entry time, dwell time, hit ratio, revisits, revisitors, average fixation, first fixation and fixation count. Through gaze analysis, the following conclusion was drawn about the 'interest level of sight' for gaze frequency. The interest level can be interpreted to be higher for faster sequence, shorter entry time, longer all fixation(ms) for dwell time, faster all saccade(%), higher hit ratio, more revisits, more revisitors, longer average fixation, faster and longer first fixation, and more fixation count, and the person can be said to have felt interest faster and/or more.

Most existing routing protocols for object detection and tracking in wireless sensor networks concentrate on finding ways to detect and track one and more individual objects, e.g. people, animals, and vehicles, but they do not be interested in detecting and tracking of continuous objects, e.g., poison gas and biochemical. Such continuous objects have quite different properties from the individual objects since the continuous objects are continuously distributed across a region and usually occupy a large area, Thus, the continuous objects could be detected by a number of sensor nodes so that sensing data are redundant and highly correlated. Therefore, an efficient data collection and report scheme for collecting and locally aggregating sensing data is needed, In this paper, we propose the Continuous Object Tracking Mechanism based on Dynamic Rectangle Zone for detecting, tracking, and monitoring the continuous objects taking into account their properties.
This paper presents a robust deep learning-based human tracking framework in crowded environments. For practical human tracking applications, a target must be robustly tracked even in undetected or overcrowded situations. The proposed framework consists of two parts: robust deep learning-based human detection and tracking while recognizing the aforementioned situations. In the former part, target candidates are detected using Detectron2, which is one of the powerful deep learning tools, and their weights are computed and assigned. Subsequently, a candidate with the highest weight is extracted and is utilized to track the target human using a Kalman filter. If the bounding boxes of the extracted candidate and another candidate are overlapped, it is regarded as a crowded situation. In this situation, the center information of the extracted candidate is compensated using the state estimated prior to the crowded situation. When candidates are not detected from Detectron2, it means that the target is completely occluded and the next state of the target is estimated using the Kalman prediction step only. In two experiments, people wearing the same color clothes and having a similar height roam around the given place by overlapping one another. The average error of the proposed framework was measured and compared with one of the conventional approaches. In the error result, the proposed framework showed its robustness in the crowded environments.

Recently, service area has been emerging field f robotic applications. Even though assistant robots play an important role for the disabled and the elderly, they still suffer from operating the robots using conventional interface devices such as joysticks or keyboards. In this paper we propose an efficient computer interface using real-time eye-gaze tracking system. The inputs to the proposed system are images taken by a camera and data from a magnetic sensor. The measured data is sufficient to describe the eye and head movement because the camera and the receiver of a magnetic sensor are stationary with respect to the head. So the proposed system can obtain the eye-gaze direction in spite of head movement as long as the distance between the system and the transmitter of a magnetic position sensor is within 2m. Experimental results show the validity of the proposed system in practical aspect and also verify the feasibility of the system as a new computer interface for the disabled.

In a park or street, we can see many people jogging or walking with their dogs tracking their masters. In this study, an entertainment robot that imitates a dog's behavior is created. The robot's task is tracking a moving target that is recognized as the master. In order to design the robot, the ecological approach. in which the robot's goals and surroundings heavily influence its design, is used. A three-wheel type locomotion system is designed as the robot's physical structure which can follow a human jogging in outdoor space like a park. A sensor system which can detect the position of a master for the robot in the outdoor space, is developed. This sensor system consists of a signal transmitter which is at the hand of a master and some sensors which are mounted on the robot. The transmitter emits RF(radio frequency) and ultrasonic signals and the sensors detect the direction and distance from the robot to the transmitter by using the received signals. For the control architecture of the robot, a purely reactive behavior-based method is used in order to increase speed of response. The developed robot is evaluated through experiments conducted in indoor and outdoor environments.
