Purpose: This study examined the effects of peer assisted learning (PAL) using video recordings in standardized patients (SP) simulation. Methods: A mixed-method approach was adopted, in which quantitative data were supplemented with qualitative data. Research participants consisted of 49 nursing students, 24 of whom were assigned to the experimental group, and 25 to the control group. The 12 item instrument was used to measure perioperative care knowledge, while performance confidence was assessed with the 10 item questionnaire, and clinical critical thinking skills with the Clinical Critical Thinking Skill Test (CCTS). Qualitative data were collected using a reflective journaling and in-depth interviews. Results: Participants in the experimental group exhibited significantly higher levels of knowledge than those in the control group (t=5.43, p<.001), and were significantly more confident in their performances (F=52.33, p<.001). However, no significant differences were found between the experimental and the control groups with regard to CCTS (t=0.72, p=.477). A qualitative content analysis was conducted using the interview and reflective journaling data, in which six major themes were elicited from three codes. Conclusion: PAL employing video recordings is expected to be utilized as a teaching and learning strategy in simulation-based nursing practicum with greater frequency and longer period, given the positive effects observed in this study.

본 논문에서는 학습자의 수준에 따라 맞춤형 학습이 필요한 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 수업에서 학습자들에게 다양한 형태의 맞춤형 학습 사례들을 적용해보고 각 사례에 참여한 학습자들의 프로그램 영역별 학습 효과를 분석하여 학습자들에게 효과적인 맞춤형 학습 유형이 어떤 것인지를 분석해보았다.

The purpose of this study is to identify various predictors of smoking behavior among female adolescents. Data for this study was collected from 357 students enrolled in a female high school, a coeducational high school, and a vocational high school in Seoul from 1st to 20th July 1999 and this data was analysed based on descriptive statistics and logistic regression with the SAS program. The results were as follows: 1. The proportion of current smokers was 17.9% and experienced smokers was 34.2% in girl high schools. 2. According to the factors family, school, peer, social learning, and psychological factors, the predictable variables are lack of family attachment and function in family factors, school involvement in school factors, associating with smokers among peers and modeling and differential reinforcement of smoking in social learning factors, self-assertiveness, self-esteem, and depression in psychological factors. 3. According to all the factors, the main predictors were peer association, differential reinforcement of smoking, and lack of family attachment. These variables cause 48.4% of smoking behavior. To prohibit smoking among female students, this society should develop a program to focus on peer leadership about quitting smoking, acquirement of skills of refusal for smoking, counter conditioning, reinforcement management, and support system about nonsmoking.

This study analyzed subjectivity of underachievers on Peer Assisted Learning(PAS) in culinary skills related subject for providing better educational environment through consideration of educational efficiency of particular teaching method. Q Methodology was employed for analysing of responses of a small group of the students. The research found that three types of distinctive structures of responses of the students' subjectivity. The first one was Increase learning effectiveness type(Type1, N=8), the second one was Development of lesson materials for passive students(Type2, N=8), and the last one was Practical self-directed learning needs development(Type3, N=6). From the result, PAS was an effective teaching method for underachievers for encouraging participation of study program, helping to rise self-confidence in subject's tasks, and awareness of self directed learning and additional study on subjects matters. The study, however, found that students could consider themselves as an interruption to other students' study progress, and could feel other students' awareness as a burden. At last, forming a class by deeper consideration on the learning levels of each students and providing additional educational contents for encouraging self directed learning are necessary for the better efficiency for the future.

This study focuses on applying the peer tutoring as an alternative instructional method in computer education. The purpose of this study is two folds: first, to examine the effect of peer tutoring on academic achievement; and second, to investigate the effect of peer tutoring on self-efficacy on learning about computer. To achieve the purpose, an experimental research was performed with 130 10th graders. The results showed no significant differences between the two groups on academic achievement, and among four groups of peer tutoring. However, there are significant differences on learners' self-efficacy.

유무선 인터넷 기술의 발전은 인터넷을 통한 개인 정보의 효율적인 공유 및 교환을 가능하게 하였다. 최근 이러한 분산 정보의 공유를 위한 네트워킹 기술로 P2P(Peer-to-Peer)가 많은 주목을 받고 있다. 현재 국내외의 많은 대학 및 기관에서 P2P에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행 중 이다. 하지만, 대부분의 P2P 시스템들은 파일공유 위주의 서비스를 제공하며 SETI@HOME을 필두로 한 일부 @HOME 프로젝트들만이 자원 공유 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 그러나 기존의 자원공유 P2P 서비스들은 특정한 목적을 위해 구성됨으로써 자원을 제공하는 일반 사용자는 단순히 자원을 제공할 뿐 그 이상의 역할을 수행할 수가 없다. 이에 본 논문에서는 P2P 시스템에 참여한 모든 사용자가 P2P의 자원 네트워크를 사용할 수 있도록 멀티 에이전트 기반의 자원 공유 P2P 시스템을 제안한다. 일반 사용자는 서비스 생성 프레임워크를 사용하여 자신에게 필요한 테스크 에이전트를 생성할 수 있으며, 스케줄러 및 분배 에이전트, 테스크 에이전트에 의해 수행되어진다. 또한 본 시스템은 group 및 peer의 관리를 위해 특성 학습 에이전트(Specific Learning Agent)의 학습기능을 사용함으로써 P2P가 가지는 불안전한 환경 및 신뢰성 문제를 해결하였다.

본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 수업에 참여한 학습자들이 수업과 병행되어 운영된 피어 튜터링 프로그램에 참여하였을 때, 참여한 튜터링 팀의 구성원들의 학습 수준 차이 정도와 튜터링 운영 방법 및 자신의 역할에 따라 수업에서 학습한 내용에 대한 학업성취도가 어떻게 달라지는지를 분석하였다.

The purpose of this study is improving the teachers' self-efficacy for pre-secondary music teachers. The research questions for this study were the improvement for teachers' self-efficacy for pre-secondary music teachers and the pre-secondary music teachers' perception about peer mentoring. In this study performed the interview and analyzed the in self-reflection journal in order to identify the improvement effect of teachers' self-efficacy and the participants' perception change in the peer mentoring. As the results from analyzing the change in participant's perception about peer mentoring the mentors had the opportunity to review previous learning contents and practice experiences while developing their team activity and for the mentees. Mentees said that they were given various help from the mentors' advices and their interactions and communication with mentors. From these results, it could identify that there was positive change in participant's perception about the peer mentoring. Based on these results, this study analyzed that it would need to require some chances for pre-secondary music teachers to be given some educational practice and field experience utilizing various teaching methods in order to improve their self-efficacy and the perception of peer mentoring.

Problem solving by programming has a lot of influence on computational thinking improvement. Programming learning has been self-directed based on the individual's thoughts and principles. However, the revised informatics curriculum in 2015 puts importance on collaborative learning. Collaborative learning emphasizes results differently from cooperative learning, which emphasizes problem-solving processes. And cooperative learning leads to structured learning, such as role sharing and activity stages, within a small group, while collaborative learning leads to unstructured learning. Therefore, it is becoming more in collaborative learning that peer interaction can be affected by learners' cognitive style. In this paper, we propose the effect of cognitive style on problem solving ability in collaborative learning for problem solving by programming. As a result, collaborative learning was effective in improving problem solving ability and there was no significant difference in cognitive style.

Mobile ad hoc network(MANET) is a kind of wireless network which has no infrastructure. Each component node of MANET can move freely and communicate based on wireless peer to peer mode. Because of its vulnerable routing protocols, MANET is exposed to many kinds of attacks. A sinkhole attack is one of the representative attacks in MANET caused by attempts to draw all network traffic to a sinkhole node. This paper focuses on the sinkhole problem on Dynamic Source Routing(DSR) protocol in MANET. To detect the sinkhole node, we extract several useful sinkhole indicators through analyzing the sinkhole problem, then propose an efficient detection method based on an incremental learning algorithm. The simulation results show that the proposed method is effective and reliable for detecting sinkhole intrusion.
