Problem-Based Learning을 활용한 가족자원경영학 수업모형 개발 및 실시: "여가문화와 생활관리" 수업사례를 중심으로 (Model Development and Implementation of Class Design for Family and Resource Management Using Problem-Based Learning: Focusing on Case Study of "Leisure Culture and Life Management" Class)

  • The purpose of this study is to present a practical class design model that applies the problem-based learning (PBL) method to the subject of home economics. To begin with, a specific class model example was developed by conducting thorough document research and expert consulting. Two modules, named "Click! Global Leisure Environment" and "Happy Leisure Product Launching" were presented as the PBL questions. The case study focused upon in this research is an elective course called "Leisure Culture and Life Management". The 21 students enrolled in this course were considered in this study. Two teaching methods, namely a face-to-face teaching method and a web-based system "Snowboard" teaching method, were used to run the class. The research results are as follows: first, theoretical research and program development and demonstration were practiced with five different age groups: childhood, adolescence, university student, middle age, and senescence. Then, selfevaluation, peer evaluation, and group evaluation were conducted to motivate the students. Finally, a class evaluation was conducted by questioning the lecturer, who ranked well, scoring higher than or equal to 4.0 points out of 5.0 on all the questions. Through the PBL method, students showed an improved study attitude with more proactive participation in the class, they strengthened their communication skills and created a synergy with their team members. This study has significant meaning because it is the first research to apply the PBL method to home economics. Therefore, we expect other curricula to apply PBL and fully utilize this teaching method as well in the future.

  • 게임 중독 청소년의 게임이용 맥락과 의미를 이해하기 위해 실시한 심층 인터뷰 결과, 먼저 게임은 또래 집단의 네트워크를 기반으로 하는 이용 규범을 통하여 중독적 게임 이용을 유도해내는 속성이 있으며, 게임 장르의 진화와 스마트 기기의 확산도 중독적인 게임 이용을 이끌어내는 것으로 드러났다. 특히 또한 게임 속의 가상세계는 청소년들에게 현실에게 결핍되어있기 쉬운 개인적 성취감이나 정체성에 대한 욕구, 사회적 인정과 지지를 손쉽게 보상받는 대안적 공간이었다. 이들에게 게임은 현실세계에서는 결핍되어 있는 다양한 청소년기의 욕구에 대한 풍부한 심리적 보상과 경험을 가능하게 하는 가상공간으로 의미를 지니며 또래 집단의 적극적 문화실천으로 경험되고 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 게임 매체의 통제와 청소년의 개인적 특성에 초점을 맞춘 현재의 게임규제 접근방식에 대해 주요한 시사점을 던져준다.

중년여성의 건강상태와 건강관리형태가 우울에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Health Status and Type of Health Management on Depression in Middle-Aged Women)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the influence of health status and types of health management on depression in middle-aged women. Methods: A convenience sample of 188 participants was recruited from health centers in S city. Using a structured questionnaire, data was collected and analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and linear regression using SPSS/WIN 23 program. Results: Results of the regression analysis showed that perceived current health status (${\beta}=-0.55$, p<.001), no caregiver (${\beta}=0.47$, p<.001), chronic diseases lasting more than three months (${\beta}=0.36$, p<.001), perceived health status compared to peer group (${\beta}=0.32$, p<.001), walking for health (${\beta}=-0.20$, p=.002), caregiver except family (${\beta}=0.18$, p=.001), and gastrointestinal disease (${\beta}=0.10$, p=.022) influenced depression in middle-aged women. Overall, approximately 69.7% of total variance explained this model (adjusted $R^2=0.678$, F=57.21, p<.001). Conclusion: This study suggests that it is more important to understand the level of perceived health status in middle-aged women. Furthermore, it is necessary to develop programs that include various health management methods and strengthen the health care with the help of families and neighbors in order to manage depression in middle-aged women.

  • 2년 발암성 독성시험의 실시와 평가에 대해서는 많은 논란이 있었다. 2년 발암성 시험의 유용성에 대한 많은 비판에도 불구하고 설치류를 이용한 발암성 시험은 사람의 발암성을 예측 할 수 있는 유일한 평가 시스템으로 인식되어 있으며, 아직 이를 대체할 만한 평가 방법은 없다고 할 수도 있다. 그간 규제기관과 학계에서는 다양한 발암성 평가모델을 제시해 왔지만 이런 시험 모델들이 과학적 타당성과 검증된 데이터에 근거하는지에 대해서는 논란이 있다. 2년 설치류 발암성 시험에 제기되는 문제들 즉, 종 및 품종의 선택, 용량설정, 시험기간, 군당 동물의 수, 배경병변, 검사항목, 시험 종료시 측정항목, 병리의 피어리뷰, 통계, 대체시험 모델, 종양의 평가, 그리고 위해성 평가 등에 대하여 검토하였다.

여성 유방암 환자의 림프부종 감소와 조절을 위한 운동의 효과: 체계적 고찰과 메타분석 (Exercise for reducing and controlling lymphedema in Women with breast cancer: A systematic review and meta-analysis)

  • 유방암은 여성에서 가장 흔한 악성종양이며, 림프부종은 가장 흔한 유방암수술 후 합병증 가운데 하나이다. 따라서 림프부종과 같은 치료 후유증의 위험도 감소와 적절한 관리는 유방암 생존 환자와 의사에게 있어서 그 중요성이 점차 커지고 있다. 이러한 림프부종의 발생을 예방하기 위하여 흔히 운동이 처방된다. 그러나 그러한 운동의 시기와 효과에 대해서는 각각 상반된 결과들이 보고되어 왔다. 저자들은 림프부종에 대한 운동 효과를 점검하여 환자 치료에 최선의 근거를 도입하기 위해 최신문헌과 상호 심사된 출판물, 전문 기구의 웹사이트를 체계적으로 고찰하여 림프부종의 예방이나 치료를 위해 시행되는 운동의 효과를 검토하였고, 그 결과 이미 림프부종이 발생해 있는 환자들에서는 임상적인 부종진행의 차이점에 유의성이 없었지만, 발생 전 환자들에서는 운동 혹은 훈련이 이차성 림프부종의 발생을 감소시키고 진행을 변경시키는 양상을 볼 수 있었다. 암치료의 발전, 암과 운동 연구, 림프부종의 관리를 위해서는 현재까지 도출된 근거들에 대한 고찰과 이해가 있어야 임상의사들이 적절한 환자 교육과 전문가의뢰를 시행할 수 있을 것이다.

SNS의 교육적 활용 방법에 대한 대학생들의 인식 분석 (An Analysis of the Awareness of Undergraduate Students Toward Educational Methods Utilizing SNS)

  • 본 연구는 효과적인 SNS의 교육적 활용 방안을 제안하고자 SNS의 사용률이 높은 대학생들을 대상으로 구체적인 SNS의 교육적 활용 방법에 대한 의견과 그 이유에 대해 조사하였다. NVivo S/W를 이용하여 개방형 응답을 분석하였으며, 교육 주체별 SNS의 교육적 활용 방법을 가시화 하고자 교수자 영역과 학습자 영역, 공통 영역으로 범주화 하였다. 그 결과 공통 영역에는 의견 교류 및 토론, 정보 공유, 학습내용에 대한 질의응답, 설문조사, 친밀감 형성, 상담 등이 포함되었으며, 교수자 영역에는 공지사항 전달, 수업자료 제공, 실시간 평가(퀴즈), 출석 체크, 과제평가 및 피드백 등이 포함되었고, 학습자 영역에는 과제활동(그룹별/개인별), 공유자료를 이용한 예습 및 복습, 동영상을 이용한 자율학습, 과제에 대한 동료평가 및 피드백, 강의 평가 등이 포함되었다.

저소득층 학령기 아동·청소년 대상 건강관련 중재에 관한 체계적 문헌고찰 (A Systematic Review of Interventions with Low-Income School-Age Children and Adolescents)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to review health-related interventions in nursing studies for low-income school-age children and adolescents. Methods: Searches among CINAHL, MEDLINE, PubMed, EMBASE, DBpia, and RISS identified 27 intervention studies published from January 2000 to April 2018. Results: Twenty-seven intervention studies were identified: 12 included psychosocial adaptations and 15 included the healthy lifestyle promotion and disease prevention. The settings were mainly schools and community welfare centers. Many studies were based on social cognitive theory and interventions were provided in a group format. Depression, self-esteem, resilience, self-efficacy for vegetable and fruit consumption, physical activity, and health-related knowledge improved significantly after the health-related interventions. However, the findings were inconsistent with regard to anxiety, peer relationships, body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, cholesterol, and glucose. Conclusion: There is potential for enhancing outcomes for psychosocial, physical health, and health-related knowledge among low-income school-age children and adolescents. Integrated interventions addressing the physical as well as psychological health of low-income children and adolescents should be conducted. It would be prudent to consider the ethnicity and family background of the child or adolescent. However, rigorous study designs and scientific validation are needed for further evidence.

북한이탈주민 어머니의 유아기 자녀 영어교육 실태와 어려움 (Realities and Difficulties of English Education for Young Children of North Korean Refugee Mothers)

  • 본 연구는 유아기 자녀를 둔 북한이탈주민 어머니의 영어교육에 대한 실태와 어려움을 알아보는 것이 목적이다. 연구대상은 유아기 자녀를 둔 북한이탈주민 201명이며, 영어교육의 실태에 대한 설문지와 심층면담을 통해 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 대부분의 북한이탈주민 어머니는 자녀에게 영어교육을 실시하고 있었으며, 만 3세 이전에 영어교육을 시작하는 경우가 많았다. 영어교육을 시키는 가장 주된 이유는 같은 또래들이 영어교육을 받고 있기 때문인 경우가 많았다. 자녀의 영어교육을 위한 도움제공은 10분 미만이 가장 많았고, 유아 혼자 복습을 하게하거나, 숙제를 강조하는 경우가 많은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 북한이탈주민 어머니들이 자녀에게 영어교육을 시킬 때의 어려움은 비용부담, 정보부족, 영어교육을 시킬 시간부족, 불만족스러운 영어교육 순으로 나타났다. 자녀의 한 달 영어교육비용은 3만원 미만이라는 응답이 가장 많았으며, 영어교육을 위한 지출은 가계에 부담이 된다는 응답이 많았다.

남성 사무직 근로자의 신체활동량 분석 (Analysis of Physical Activity in Male Office Workers)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to analyze occupational and leisure-time physical activity(LTPA) in male office workers and to examine factors related to LTPA. Method: The subjects for this study were 226 male office workers, from eight work places located in Seoul, who had no physical restrictions. Minnesota LPTA Questionnaire (Taylor et al., 1978) revised by Kim(1997) was used to measure LTPA and revised Tecumseh Occupational Physical Activity Questionnaire (Motoye, 1971) was used to measure occupational physical activity. The data were collected from May 4 to May 19, 2001 using a semi-structured questionnaire with interviews and self reports. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS Windows 10.0 Program. Results: The results of this study are summarized as follows. 1. The mean level of physical activity was 8,716.9kcal/wk. The occupational physical activity was at 6,605kcal/wk(75.8%) and the level of LTPA was 2,111.4kcal/wk (24.2%). 2. Using 2,000kcal/wk as a base for categorizing LTPA as active or inactive, it was found that there were 94 subjects(41.6%) in the active group. 3. Subjects in their thirties had a lower level of LTPA than subjects in other age groups (F=3.484, p<.05). Physical activity, self-efficacy (r=.405, p=.000) and perceived health status (r=.301, p=.000) were positively related to LTPA. 4. Participants in club activities had a higher level of LTPA than those who did not (t=-2.369, p=.020). Support for physical activity(r=.164, p=0.13) was positively related to LTPA. Conclusion: This study suggested that to increase physical activity in male office workers, physical activity promotion programs should be established according to age and sex especially for those who are in their thirties and for women, and should include strategies strengthening support through peer groups and family, developing club activities and increasing physical activity self-efficacy.

아동 및 청소년 성교육 자료의 활용 실태와 평가 (Status of Use and Evaluation of Materials of Sexual Education for Child and Adolescent in Schools, Korea)

  • We would like to suggest the guideline of use of materials of sexual education for adolescent in school by examining the status of use of materials and by evaluating the video materials frequently used. Survey was done by enquetes on status of use of materials of sexual education from school nurses in 190 primary, 44 middle and 50 high schools in Seoul, Kyonggi-do and Kangwon-do from August 1999 to February 2000. The frequently used 84 videotapes were evaluated on their contents. As for the status of use, 99.3% of subjected schools possessed the materials for sexual education. Decision of purchase was determined according to the review of contents (92.6%). Information about materials was received by the advertisement in newspapers or broadcasting (46.1%) or recommendation of peer teacher (32.4%). Videotape was most frequently used (64.1%) rather than books or CD. Teachers concerns on the materials were the educational content according to developmental stage of students (41.9%), content provoking interest (33.5%) and concrete guide for teacher (10.6%). As for the evaluation of the contents of videotapes, a subject of education was not described out of 46.6%. Videotape producer were mostly the Government-affiliated institutes or non-profit organizations (86.8%). The year of production was indicated from 41.7%. Running time range of 21-30 minutes was highest (55.9%). The price was marked in only one videotape. Subjects of contents were general sexual education (34.5%), sexual violence or sexual harassment (21.4%), pregnancy and contraception (14.2%) and AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases (8.3%) and dating and adolescent change (4. 8%), and etc (11.9 %). According to above results, we suggested that materials for sexual education should be completed with a description on the subjected group, summary of content, information on the tape producer, year of production, running time and sale price.
